Chapter 14: A wolf story
Inside gongmen city palace the furious four rush in the door.
"Soothsayer, we got bad news" Viper said
"Tigress is gone, I thought so" she said before drinking her tea
"Will you stop being creepy?" Mantis asked
"We search everywhere in town" Crane said
"We even check on the roof where she usually go for some of the day" Monkey said
"She's disappear" said a voice behind them before they turn to see Soothmaker
"You" mantis said madly, "and what do you mean disappear"
"Let just say she been so insane of getting your friend back and fell into a portal"
"What, do you mean to tell us you have another ball the whole time"
"Yeah...so"
"So? that's so mess up" Monkey said, "We could have use that to bring Po back when he is gone into another world.
"Well...you didn't asked about it
The four was shocked and felt disappointed
"First Po now Tigress" Viper said sadly, "I hope they're both okay"
Somewhere at the door, wolf boss peek out of what's going on and hear everything, "The panda is gone" he said before looking away from the others., "ha well good ridden I really don't like him I hope that other place he's into is painful. For that I will never have to see is old fluffy cloud face again. After notice the four and the others saw him by the door
"Uhhh...how long you all been standing there?"
"Oh since you say it out loud" mantis said
"Why are you doing here?" monkey said
"Nothing..I just..you guys were just wondering around in the city so I was just..curious" Boss said
"You just happy that Po is gone" Crane said, "Why don't you go home before things will get bad"
"First yeah second This IS my home"
Four got confused
"And thirdly...I still not happy"
"Why not" viper said
"I'm just not ok everything I done with Shen and the others was...terrible"
"I never wanted this and I never wanted this to happen to Shen"
"And I also don't want to lose... one of my family"
Boss sadly ran and jump up to the roof
They were all surprised what they heard.
We cut to the roof where the four was looking for boss, who was sitting in the same stand as tigress sadly
"There he is" crane said
"Should we talk to him?" Monkey said
"I'm thinking not" Mantis said
"Alright guys let me handle this" Viper said, before moving toward boss and touching his shoulder with her back side of the snake.
Boss noticed it right now, "what are you..."
"What's wrong sweetie is there something you like to tell me?" Viper asked in a nice voice.
With that Boss clam down to it and sighed. "Well...it about my friend"
"Who's that?"
"Shen"
"What?"
"You see our kind like us became the royal guards of the peacock palace, We always order and serve the ruler of this city for years. As for me, I was a just a wolf cub until I met him, Shen, my closer friend."
"We spent good time with each other over the years but that moment turn when Shen walk to the different path which will come to his dark side."
"That moment when my father send me as the boss of the wolf pack, I always thought I could change him and become what his parents want him to be. But Shen is who he is and I have to accept that."
"Why didn't you try to change him?"
"Because as I said before we always order and serve the one who rule this city even they can be well...you know"
"After Shen did one cruel thing that banished him, me and my pack, We began to join Shen's plan, which you and the other see that we enjoy this on the outside but on the inside I never enjoyed this."
"I couldn't tell them how I feel about it because I won't understand"
"I real problem here is that big fluffy friend. He's the reason how I'm acting this way and I want out of my sight."
"Even what I heard earlier, I'm still not happy and after got stab to the neck by Shen when I didn't shoot the cannon as I suppose too because my wolf pack was there and I disobey him and...(sigh)"
Viper felt bad for him of what he really was, "I'm so sorry Wolf boss" she said
"Zhong"
"Huh"
"My name is Zhong"
"Zhong... alright"
"I thought I was done for laying there bleeding so hopeless until I woke up in a strange place I don't know of and saw a goat, who what I saw...Soothsayer?" he said, before feeling the pain of his neck, "Ow"
"Stay stand to let it heal" Soothsayer said
"You...save me but why?"
"So you can furfill your destiny"
"What are you talking you?, what happened to the pack and Shen?"
"Shen is gone and your pack left the city
Zhong notice one reason and cover his face "Oh..no"
"You were unhappy all this time"
"Unhappy, I am happy. I have my pack, workship, Shen"
"And how it made you feel"
Zhong feel down, "... horrible"
"I see you future where you have happiness to yourself"
"What is it?"
"That is where you figure that on your own"
"What why not"
Soothsayer prepare something and show smoke going around make a goat holding something and show a yin and yang color of black and orange drop down and the smoke disappeared "You remind of someone who also want to know about it's destiny and I know both of you we know"
"I always thought she was just being silly but I try to know what it is all day and I couldn't because the past I face haunted me"
Viper decided to help him "A friend of mine once told me, your story made not have a happy beginning but I doesn't made you of who you are, it's the rest of your story to who you choose to be"
Zhong thought about what Viper say and then. "I know who I was and what I supposed to be, I was happy at that time" Zhong got up quickly "And that the me I know. I have to let go all that stuff in the past because it's gone I got no control of it anymore. What matter is what I choose to be."
Viper smiled so as the furious three except for Mantis who was unsure of this but behind them was Soothmaker, who heard everything made a mean look who wasn't sure of this before walking away.
Meanwhile we cut to the far distance from the city to see wolf figure also other figure behind coming toward the city.
