topsyturvy- There is going to be some drama with the kids but it's hard to say what without giving it all away lol xD So glad you enjoyed the last chapter, hope you like this one too!
Propping his head up with his hand, Sasuke quietly observed me picking out an outfit for the day. We hadn't slept much all night, making love until the sun shone beautifully over Konoha was something that had become normal for us when Sasuke returned from a mission. I was trying my best not to make eye contact, just knowing he was naked was hard enough to try and ignore but if he looked at me with those smouldering deep black eyes I wouldn't be able to resist jumping back into bed.
"Why is your butt covered in bruises?" His voice was soft and inquisitive, almost enough to lure me into his playful gaze. Images of training with Yoichi flashed into my mind, I had never seen him laugh so much as he did when I fell off the tree I was trying to run up. Hearing his laughter in my mind brought a smile to my face.
"Oh, right! We-" I quickly stopped myself, we hadn't spoken about my training yet. "Uh...I'm going to make breakfast." He started to laugh and made his way across the room, the bed covers that were the only thing covering his body fell to the floor along with my mouth, his body could alway take my breath away. Our bare bodies united, pressing softly together.
"More training, huh?" He was still grinning at me but there was something other than amusement in his eyes. He looked proud, like the first time I wore the Uchiha crest on my back.
"Yoichi's a good teacher but I'm just..." I trailed off, shrugging. For some reason the longer he patiently waited for me to continue the more upset I got. When I had decided to start training I hadn't really given it much thought but If i had really analysed my feelings I would have realised why becoming stronger mattered so much to me. "I feel like I'm never going to catch up to you. Sometimes I feel like you're far away from me, even when you're right here."
"Because I'm a shinobi?" He asked, running his fingers up and down my arms soothingly. He completely understood why I was upset, family life in Konoha was a big adjustment to him too. I nodded hesitantly, afraid that my admission would disappoint him. He had been born into the ninja world, it was who he was and I had accepted that but it didn't make it any easier saying goodbye to him every couple of weeks or sometimes even days. It was selfish but a huge part of me just wanted my family together, if I couldn't have that then I wanted to be a part of the world that they belonged to. Suddenly I knew what I needed from him to make things better.
"Sasuke." I said, impressing him with the unwavering determination now lacing my words, "Will you train me?" He smiled and threaded his fingers into my hair to gently guide me to his lips.
"Took you long enough to ask me." he grinned. Had he really been waiting for me to ask for his help all this time? The thought alone was enough to nearly bring tears to my eyes, he had been respectful enough to give me the space I needed and sweet enough to be ready to help out in a heartbeat.
"Thank you." My words were almost a whisper, emotion was getting the better of me.
"I didn't agree yet." He replied casually but his heart beat was quickening against my chest. I gazed up at him, our room now so full of light that it was easy to do so, finding a playful invitation in his eyes.
"Is there any way for me to convince you?" I teased, wrapping my arms around him and drawing my heat against him. His lips found and traced my jawline, then he began to slowly nibble the length of my neck before returning to whisper into my ear.
"Why don't we find out?" A small moan escaped my mouth as he appeared behind me in an instant grinding his enormously hard member against me. A huge thud suddenly stopped what was already promising to be amazing before it had even properly begun, without uttering another word to each other we dressed so fast it should have been a jutsu. Yoichi's little feet padded down the hall and he threw our door open with such force it was amazing it didn't break.
"Dad, you're back!" He screeched, bounding into our tidy room and causing unintentional chaos. He knocked over a stack of books, rummaged into a box of ninja tools leaving half of them across the floor as he launched himself on to our bed and started leaping towards the ceiling with his hands reached up high above his head.
"Yoichi." Sasuke's voice was stern, our son slowly stopped bouncing on the bed as he tried to decide how serious his father actually was and what he was about to get scolded for. "How many times have I told you not to just run in here?" I covered my mouth and turned my back to them both to hide my expression but Yoichi either spotted my body shaking with stifled giggles or the seriousness fade from his father's face because his apology was spoken through laughter. As we all headed downstairs for breakfast, Yoichi speeding ahead of us, Sasuke's hand found my butt in a flirtatious slap.
Just like our bedroom, there was a similar mess left after breakfast. With food all over the table, split drink and a mountain of dishes that seemed to be far more than we had even used, I had my work cut out so it was a relief when Sasuke offered to take Yoichi to the academy for me. He would have offered to tidy up instead but we both knew how much he disliked cleaning and I quite enjoyed it.
"Morning, Sasuke-Kun!" Sakura was overjoyed to finally be face to face with Sasuke, she had been trying for days to run into him without any luck at all and on top of that she had managed to catch him alone.
"Good morning." He replied coldly, not breaking stride. She didn't take the hint at all, she matched his speed and walked alongside him even when he started to walk faster.
"I haven't seen you in such a long time! How have you been?" Rubbing his forehead, Sasuke felt tension beginning to gather there.
"I'm fine, thank you. Nice speaking to you but I have a lot of things to do." he had no idea how strangely she would twist his words in her mind. She felt empathy for him, she felt sure that he was always so busy because his wife did nothing but even with her delusions she sensed him about to stop their conversation.
"I know, it must be tough for you." she took a bold step and placed her hand on his arm, which he promptly shook off. He moved to disappear so she blurted out something she had been planning to use on such an occasion. "There was something I wanted to tell you. About Emiko."
The mild irritation that had been on Sasuke's face disappeared at the mention of his wife's name and was replaced by a warning glare.
"You know how much I like her but we've been friends for so long I thought that I owed it to you to tell you." He didn't believe a word that was coming out of her mouth but he needed to know how much of a problem she was going to be so he listened to what came next. "When you're away on missions she's always in the village chatting and laughing with different men-"
"She can speak to whoever she likes." he replied bluntly, knowing full well which direction she was about to spin her lie in.
"Of course." She giggled nervously, her face a picture of disappointment. "But if she's that friendly with other men in the street who knows what might be going on in your house." Naruto had asked Sasuke as a friend to give Sakura some time to adjust back when we had moved into the village and he had allowed months for her annoying crush to pass but at that moment he had definitely run out of patience.
Usually it took me half an hour to take Yoichi to the academy and come home, if I wasn't shopping, Sasuke would no doubt be faster than me so I set myself a challenge to transform the house in twenty minutes. I'd just finished washing the dishes when the front door opened and closed. Looking at the clock that hung above the sink I realised that only ten minutes had passed. Drying my hands on a towel, I went to greet Sasuke.
"That was quick." I smiled, watching him slip off his shoes. He smiled at me briefly in return before allowing his face to fall into a slight scowl.
"What's wrong?" I asked, thinking that perhaps Yoichi had been misbehaving at the academy or something. His eyes searched mine for a few moments, as much as he wanted to vent to me he couldn't bring himself to be the one that took the happy sparkle from my eyes over meaningless words that held no truth.
Instead he swept my legs out from underneath me and carried me upstairs, his features brightening in anticipation of an afternoon of euphoria. "Nothing's wrong."
A/N- Dramaaaaaaa! What's everyone's thoughts on this chapter? xx
