Another update! Couldn't stop writing, I'm excited about what's coming up!

topsyturvy-dream- It's an imposter! I totally agree with you I think he can be very affectionate, I think he's got a good sense of humour too. How do you feel about his naughty side? Sweet, rough or a bit of both?

When he placed his lips against mine and gently slid his tongue into my mouth I knew it wasn't really Sasuke. I was completely naked, we were alone in the house but his tongue made no effort to dominate mine, his hands were romantically cupping my face instead of clutching my hips and he made no effort to move me towards the bed. Even the way he kissed me wasn't totally different, the fact that I hadn't been able to sense him was reason enough to doubt that he was really my husband. Despite being gripped by fear, I continued to return the kiss, racking my brain for an idea. It was just me and this stranger. It didn't seem likely that my Sasuke was going to burst into the room at any minute and take care of his lookalike, besides he had trained me for a reason. There wasn't a better time to use the things that I had learnt.

"Come on." I giggled nervously, taking him by the hand and leading him towards the bed. "It's been a while! About a month now, right?"

I couldn't resist trying to confirm my suspicions before I launched an attack. The fact that he looked exactly like Sasuke made it very difficult not to doubt myself.

"Yeah, I have no idea why though." He replied, leaning back in for another taste of my lips.

Now I was sure he was an impostor. He moved towards me until we were inches apart at the foot of the bed, right next to the open box containing Sasuke's impressive collection of ninja tools. My eyes spotted the kunai on top, the cool steel glinting in the sunlight. He was too preoccupied staring at the body he thought he was about to claim to react when I grasped the kunai and knocked his legs out from underneath him with one swift kick. As soon as he hit the floor, I was on top of him, pressing the kunai to his throat.

"Who are you?" I demanded.

"You are very interesting." he laughed, finally revealing his true self.

With golden blonde hair, piercing green eyes and a charming smile he definitely wasn't the man that had approached me at the beach.

Scowling, I pushed the kunai further into his neck. "What do you want?"

His amused smirk didn't fade, neither did the look of fascination on his face. It was annoying that he wasn't taking me seriously. Being naked didn't help.

"Kaze of the Ronin clan." he revealed proudly.

I had never heard of his clan before, I could only hope that they were a small one instead of the twenty or so strong shinobi I was picturing in my mind. If his whole family were after Sasuke our lives would be a living nightmare. Why were they after him anyway?

Noticing the question lingering in my eyes he said, "Want to know why we're after your husband?"

With my free hand I slapped away his fingers that had started playfully rubbing my thigh. I had never been more uncomfortable in my life but getting off the guy wasn't really an option.

"Well, first he killed my uncle." he continued into my silence.

"I'm sorry." I blurted out. "If he did, I know he's sorry too."

He let out a small chuckle before shooting me a charming grin. It was really strange to be threatening a guy that was acting like we weren't in one of the most unusual situations that ever existed. The more I thought about it the more I realised that so far he hadn't done anything to try and harm me, strangely enough he had been quite friendly.

"You don't have to apologise, I never really liked him anyway. That's not the main reason for the animosity though, the thing my father is most pissed about is when he fought Uchiha Sasuke and lost. After losing his brother he trained for a year before challenging your husband, losing to him was bad enough but having his life spared was the worst part."

Discovering the truth, or at least what I assumed was the truth, didn't make me feel any better. If anything I was even more confused. I didn't understand hating someone for an act of kindness.

"Since I've shared some very useful information with you, could you do me a favour?" he asked. "Would you mind moving back a little?"

I assumed he was referring to the kunai still against his throat but when he gave me a sleazy wink I realised that it was a much more perverted request. My cheeks burnt as embarrassment finally caught up with me.

"Hey, it's your fault for throwing yourself at me completely naked!" He protested.

"Only because you looked like my husband!" I argued back.

"Okay, okay. Why don't you get dressed? Clearly you're not going to kill me, all of the killer intent from earlier has completely disappeared from those beautiful blue eyes."

His assumption annoyed me, his compliment infuriated me. He had no right breaking into my home, intent on harming my husband and then paying me a compliment like we had just met in a bar. Squeezing my eyes closed, I tightened my hand around the handle of the kunai but before I could pierce his skin he took hold of me and pinned me to the floor. In a final attempt to protect myself I thrust the chidori that was emitting small jolts of lightning in my hand towards his chest but he was too fast, he clutched my wrist and forced me to hit the floor with the jutsu. I'd failed. I wasn't going to see Sasuke or Yoichi again, I was completely at the mercy of our enemy. My chest began rising and falling erratically, my heart beat thundering, adrenaline coursing through my veins. He had my hands above my head, my legs pinned down by his body, there was absolutely nothing I could do. I didn't allow myself to cry and I refused to beg for my life, if that was what he came for there was no point in trying to convince him to let me go.

"So...are you happily married or can we...you know?" he said to me, instantly releasing the grip on my wrists and looking down between our bodies.

When I simply stared at him he got to his feet and began looking around the room. Once he'd spotted some clothes, he handed them to me. I quickly put them on, still in a state of disbelief. Was this some sort of genjutsu?

"You almost had me there! Sorry if I scared you." he said, patting my shoulder affectionately.

My legs were failing me, they felt like jelly so I sank back down to the floor. I had no idea what to do next. He came and slumped down next to me, eyeing me curiously. After pushing his messy blonde hair aside, he sighed. For the first time I saw his endearing demeanour change as he gazed longingly out of the window.

"I just came to scout the place out but I couldn't resist meeting you. The woman married to the man my father hates. I've heard a lot of bad things about him but you're so loyal to him, it's hard to imagine him being that bad."

"He's not! In the past he might have done some things that he regrets but he was in a really dark place." I explained, grateful that I was able to find my voice.

"Alright. See you around, Blue eyes." he said, flashing me a grin before disguising himself as Sasuke again and leaving the room.

I listened to him descend the stairs, when the front door opened and closed a huge sense of relief washed over me. It was over.

Do you think Emiko did well? Will Kaze appear again?
