After leaving the restaurant they headed to the mall after Hanna convinced them that today would be the perfect day to shop. Truly, any day would be the perfect day to shop for Hanna, but they didn't have any plans so they allowed the blonde to drag them to the mall.

On the ride there Emily refused to make eye contact with Alison. She switched seats from earlier before, this time sitting in the middle row with Hanna leaving Alison by herself in the back.

It was obvious at this point that were was something off between Emily and Alison, but no one wanted to address it yet. They all knew if they mentioned something about it to Alison the blonde would blow it off instead of give them a direct answer anyway. Alison never told anyone anything unless she wanted them to know, and if you tried to get an answer from her when she didn't want to give one, the chance of her snapping at you were much larger than the chance of getting the truth from her.

"Aria can you not go for the old hipster look and get into the new hipster look?" Hanna groaned, snatching a top from Aria's hand. Hanna had been commenting on every piece of clothing that each girl had picked up.

"Give her a break, Hanna, geez," Spencer said, taking the shirt from Hanna's hand and returning it back to Aria. "It looks great."

Alison sorted through a rack of dresses, "I don't see anything that I like."

"We just got in here," Hanna stated, "real shopping takes time. Keep looking." Alison crinkled her nose at Hanna and continued looking through the racks. Normally Alison was a shopper but today she just didn't feel like it. Things were Emily were too distracting for her to focus on clothes.

Hanna made her way over to Emily who was skimming through a few jackets on the wall. "You would look so hot in that," Hanna grinned. Leave it to Hanna to make Emily's mood better. If anyone in the group could make the brunette laugh even when she didn't want to, it would be her. "You think so?"

"Definitely," Alison agreed as she slid by the two. She held her gaze on Emily for a moment before turning her head to walk to the other side of the store.

Hanna nodded at Emily before she followed Alison, "try it on Em."

Emily couldn't help her eyes from following Hanna to Alison. The beauty of Alison was unbelievable. Emily wanted to stay frustrated with the blonde but God, the second Alison smiled at her it washed away any bad feelings. She allowed herself a moment to rest her eyes on the blonde. The way her dimples popped from her cheeks when Hanna made her laugh was just.. oh man.

"Spencer! That is way too conservative, even for you!" Hanna yelled, storming off to Spencer who looked as if she was seconds away from killing Hanna.

Emily redirected her attention back to the jacket that Hanna thought was nice. She probably should get the jacket. Denim did look good on her.

"Em?"

Emily blinked before turning around. She could smell the voice coming behind of her and it was her favorite scent in the world. She was sure of it.

She turned to see Alison holding up a dress. "Yeah?"

"Will you go to the changing room with me? Hanna's helping Spencer and Aria's looking at some weird bulky jewelry and to be honest I don't think I'd trust her opinion anyway," Alison laughed.

Emily felt her stomach turn at the dress in Alison's hands. It was a little black dress that Emily knew would drive her wild. The thought alone of Alison in that dress.. Jesus.

"Is that what you're trying on?" Emily asked. She wanted to slap herself. No shit.

Alison nodded, "it's what I planned on trying on. Why? Do you not like it?"

Emily shook her head, "no, no. That's not it. I just—," the brunette brought her eyes back to Alison's, "yeah, let's go."

The girls made their way to the changing room and Alison shut and locked the door while Emily sat down on the bench. Alison handed Emily the dress on the hanger as she reached to slip off her tank top. She knew that she was going to see Alison change, and she had hundreds of times before, but there was something different about being locked in small changing room. It felt incredibly more intimate and Emily wasn't prepared for the way it made her heart race.

She tried to hold herself back from looking, but she couldn't. When Alison lifted her shirt and pulled the shirt over her head, Emily's eyes shot to Alison's exposed stomach. The abs on her flexed in the smallest ways but made the biggest impact on Emily's nerves.

When Alison tossed the tank top on the bench, Emily quickly looked away. She kicked off her heels and wiggled out of her skirt and Emily could feel her heart race as the blonde stood so bare in front of her. She had seen so much of Alison's body lately and it's not that she was complaining, but the way it wrecked her breathing was starting to become concerning.

The blonde took a step towards Emily, reaching her hand out for the dress. Emily handed the dress to Alison and tried to make conversation. She didn't want to seem so…struck. "What are you buying this for?"

Alison took the dress off of the hanger and raised an eyebrow, "what do you mean?"

Emily tucked a strand of hair behind her ears, "well it's not for school, obviously."

Alison unzipped the dress and lowered it to step into it, "I haven't decided yet. I just know I want it. It's hot though, right?"

"Um, yeah. It's a nice dress."

Alison stepped into the dress and pulled it up her legs and waist. She slipped her arms into it and turned around, "can you zip it up for me?"

As if on cue, butterflies instantly flooded her. She stood from the bench and filled the space between her and Alison. She took a breath before she delicately reached for Alison's hair, pushing the blonde curls out of the way of the zipper. Once it was cleared, she reached for the zipper down Alison's back and tugged to up. Her eyes followed the zipper up the blonde's back, watching the dress cover her smooth skin the higher the zipper closed.

When Emily reached the top of the dress and let go of the zipper and the breath she didn't realize she was holding. "It's zipped."

Alison turned and the look in her eyes set Emily aflame. This was the look that drove her crazy. The look that silently screamed devour me.

"How does it look?"

They were speaking so softly that each word almost came out in a whisper.

"Perfect."

Alison's eyes dashed back and forth between Emily's and would drop to her lips for a moment before shooting back up to her eyes. She couldn't stop her hand from reaching to cup Alison's face. Her hand was shaking and she felt on fire but she couldn't pull away. Not now. Not with Alison looking at her like this.

Her body went into autopilot and before she knew it, she was leaning forward and she watched as the blonde closed her eyes. She couldn't stop the smile that covered her lips before she pressed them against Alison's. She had dreamt of this moment for years and it felt crazy that this was happening. That this was real.

Suddenly it all made sense. It was like time stopped and the world felt right and everything that she felt for Alison was for a reason. It was all justified. The feelings that Emily harbored for the blonde seemed to come to light as her lips pressed against Alison's.

Alison reached forward and placed her hands on Emily's hips, pulling the brunette closer. When she felt Emily's free hand cup the other side of her face, she smiled into the kiss. The blonde took control of the kiss and pushed Emily forward, making her fall back onto the bench. When Emily sat down, Alison straddled her lap and wrapped her arms around of Emily's neck. She reconnected their lips and Emily's hands found ground on Alison's hips and pulled Alison against her.

Emily was in a dream. A dream that she'd be okay with never being woken up from. The fact that this was actually happening was beyond her. She never thought that this could ever be reality, anything other than just a fantasy.

Her fingers trailed Alison's side and made their way to her thighs. Alison whimpered in Emily's mouth when the brunette's fingers flexed on her skin and fuck- the sound of Alison moaning was the sexiest thing she had ever heard. She needed to hear that sound again. God she had to.

Alison hands found her way to Emily's hair and she pulled on the locks just enough so she could deepen their kiss. When Emily's fingers dipped just inside the helm of Alison's dress, she barely heard it, but Alison moaned just loud enough for the brunette to notice. Alison's hands slid to Emily's jaw as she kissed the brunette and Emily would allow Alison to do whatever she wanted with her at this point. She didn't care.

All too soon, the brunette's phone vibrated in her pocket and it woke her up from the dream that was Alison DiLaurentis. She tore her lips away from Alison and looked at the blonde in panic. Realization of what she was doing hit her like a freight train. She just cheated on her girlfriend.

Emily fumbled for her phone out of her back pocket and her eyes widened as she saw Paige's name on her screen. She slid out from underneath Alison and created distance between the two. She still couldn't think straight with the blonde so close to her and when she could still feel the pressure of Alison's lips against her own. "O my God."

Alison stood up from the bench, "what?"

Emily looked from her phone to Alison and back to her phone, "I can't believe I just—we just—"

Alison looked down at Emily's phone and when she realized the caller she looked back up to Emily, "don't answer that."

Emily ran a shaky hand through her hair. She felt awful, "she's my girlfriend, Alison." She unlocked the door to the changing room, "I have to go."

Alison grabbed Emily's hand and pulled her back, "don't go." She squeezed Emily's hand, "please."

The look in Alison's eyes was a look that Emily hadn't seen before. She was vulnerable. In this moment Emily saw Alison with her guard down and her emotions raw in a way that Alison never allowed. It was beautiful and sweet and what Emily wanted for the longest time, but right now she felt so disgusted with herself as her phone vibrated in one hand and Alison holding the other.

Emily shook her head, "I can't do this."

The brunette pulled her hand from Alison and left the room in two quick steps. Just a moment later Alison heard her answer the phone as she walked away from the changing rooms, leaving the blonde behind.

When the girls finished shopping they went back to Spencer's and spent the rest of the day watching movies.

Alison had been snappy since they left the mall, so the girls just kind of left her alone. Emily knew that Alison was upset about their... encounter, she guesses that was what they were calling it, in the changing room earlier, but the brunette just couldn't look Alison in the face. She felt horrible about cheating on Paige.

Spencer paused the movie, "we should go to my lake house tonight." Hanna grinned, "oh hell yeah that sounds fun."

Emily frowned, "I told Paige I would see her tonight since I blew her off yesterday."

"Why don't you invite her?" Spencer asked. Alison whipped her eyes to Spencer and if looks could kill..

Emily immediately started to backtrack. "I don't know... she wants alone time I think."

"Oh c'mon, Em. You can guys can totally get freaky in the guest room," Hanna said as her eyebrows wiggled suggestively at Emily. Spencer turned her head to Hanna, "that was not a part of this idea."

Hanna gave Spencer a sultry smile, "it's not like we all haven't gotten down and dirty in your lake house, Spence."

Spencer eyes got wide, "you did not-"

Aria cleared her throat, "okay, anyway.. it sounds like a great idea. You should invite her Em."

"I'll ask her," Emily replied. She brought her eyes to Alison just before she pulled her phone out of her pocket. She had a bad feeling about this. The look in Alison's eyes was enough to make her want to go home and avoid the night all together. But she had been blowing Paige off lately to hang out with them and it had been a month since they had started dating and Paige hadn't hung out with Emily and her friends together. She knew it couldn't push it off forever because of Alison.

The brunette sighed when Paige excitedly texted her back, agreeing to spending the night with her friends.

Tonight was going to be one for the books. She was sure of it.

Alison walked on the pier and grinned as she sat beside of Hanna. She was wearing the smallest bikini that she could find in her closet, maybe intentionally, and carried a bottle of red wine in her hands. Hanna's eyes lit up as Alison poured the two a second glass. They had downed their first drink within minutes of getting to the house. It was just before dusk and Alison needed a buzz if she was going to get through the night with Paige there.

Spencer stood on the patio with Aria watching Alison and Hanna laugh about who knows what as they sipped their wine. "What are going to do about those two?"

Aria laughed, "they're just having a good time."

The sliding door opened and Spencer and Aria were greeted by Emily and Paige. Aria had always liked Paige. They shared a few art classes together and Aria always thought she seemed nice enough. Spencer on the other hand, she wasn't against Paige, but she had her concerns. Last school year when Alison and Paige fought on the soccer field, Spencer was present when it happened. She had been running by the soccer field with her lacrosse teammates when she saw Alison pull Paige down with her. It wasn't pretty, and Alison wasn't faultless, but she had seen the anger brought of Paige.

Still, as long as Paige was good to Emily, Spencer really didn't care if Alison and Paige got along. Alison could be... well, not the nicest girl in the world.

"Hi Paige," Aria waved, "we're glad you could make it. Sorry we've been stealing your girlfriend so much."

Paige laughed as her and Emily walked to the two, "I get it. She's in high demand. Thanks for inviting me, Spencer. This place is crazy beautiful."

Before Spencer could respond, the girls heard a splash come from the water followed by a scream. "You bitch!"

They turned their heads to see Alison bellow a loud laugh as Hanna pulled herself out of the water and back onto the pier. Hanna flipped off Alison which only made the blonde laugh even harder.

Emily could almost feel Paige's body stiffen once her gaze fell to Alison. She had spent the evening worrying about how tonight would go. When she picked up Paige before coming to the lake house, she wanted to feel Paige out to make sure she was okay with spending the night around Alison. But Paige didn't mention it and Emily sure as hell wasn't going to mention Alison. Not after-

"Excuse them, they tend to get a little crazy when they drink. They're a good time though. You'll get used to it," Aria laughed.

Something quirked on Paige's lips, but she just nodded in response. Emily was dying to know what her girlfriend was thinking, but she plopped down on a couch and decided it probably wasn't best for that now. Maybe when they were alone and away from people who loved Alison as much as she did. The air was warm and summer breeze felt nice coming off of the water. If she expected Paige to be relaxed about Alison, she should be too and try to enjoy the summer night with her friends.

Spencer took off her her shirt and shorts, "alright, I'm going for a dip. Do you guys wanna come?"

Aria stood up, "I've been waiting for someone to go because I didn't wanna go alone." Aria stripped her clothes and followed Spencer to the pier, leaving Emily and Paige on the patio. Paige took Emily's hand in hers and smiled at the brunette, "we're the swimmers here, shouldn't we be the first two out there?"

"You're right, yeah. You wanna go?"

"Of course I do. I've been waiting to beat you in a race since you mentioned coming here," Paige grinned. She stood and pulled Emily up with her, both of the girls riding of the clothes before turning to walk hand in hand on the pier.

When Hanna noticed Emily she grinned, "finally you're here. What was taking you guys so long? Be honest, were you banging before you got here?"

"Hanna," Spencer groaned.

Hanna waved her hand dismissively at Spencer before returning her wiggling eyebrows and suggestive smirk at the couple.

When Emily saw Alison turn around she had to strain her eyes to remain on the blonde's face. God Alison was wearing the tiniest bikini had ever seen and it was clinging to her body in ways that should have been illegal. Alison looked at Emily before her eyes dropped to see her hand linked with Paige's. The blonde flashed her eyes back up to Emily's before she looked away. Her hand felt on fire in Paige's and suddenly it felt so wrong to have Paige there with her.

"Hello to you too Hanna," Paige laughed. She looked at Alison and looked away. She definitely wasn't going to greet her and she was sure Alison didn't want to talk to her either, so a look was enough.

Suddenly Paige jumped off of the pier, pulling Emily with her. The laugh that came from Emily was melodic for just a moment before Alison remembered that it was Paige that got the laugh out of her.

Alison watched as Emily and Paige came up to the surface and Paige wrapped her arms around Emily's neck. She took a big slip of her wine. God it was going to be a long night.
