Pride of Your Soul
Chapter 20: Revelations
AN: This took longer than expected because I decided to add more things to it. Also because I decided to play Breath of the Wild. Now I'm going to be honest. There is one...concerning scene in this chapter that I honestly felt uncomfortable writing out. And if that offends you, then I deeply apologize in advance. But I felt they were necessary to portray how much of a terrible piece of shit certain characters are. Or you could hate me for how I ended this chapter. Again, I deeply apologize in advance.
And now, onto the reviews:
FantasyLover88: Well you're gonna find out today!
Defender31415: Oh you thought things got real last chapter. You gonna learn today.
Anonymous Trainer: Thanks! Glad you're loving it so far!
Tony Anderson: And part 2 has arrived! Do enjoy!
I M Poik: A little over a week is still a few days right? Haha...I'm so sorry. Is someone going to get Thundurus? Hmmm, maybe? Perhaps in the future. Regardless, everything is coming together. Now time to see it all blow up in spectacular proportions!
Last chapter left me with some bad feelings
Yeah about that...
Bob'sOCRob: Honestly if anything, I learned how much of a karma houdini Hilda ended up becoming and learned from that. Now everyone's getting called out! :D But regardless thanks for enjoying!
Random Viewer: LOL
Guest: Your concern will get addressed in the chapter, but for Layman's terms, infiltration isn't always about brute force.
Okay, now on with the show!
"Excellent," Mayor Riches said to the person he was talking to on a video call. "I shall make arrangements on my side. I estimate it to be within two days. Pleasure doing business with you lot."
The fat man ended his call as the video call window disappeared. The man smirked; everything was according to his plan. First he would be able to reestablish his business and alliance with his former allies, and now he would be able to extend his influence outside of Undella Town by having Miles use the idol girl. His power would increase tenfold thanks to the several opportunities that were presented to him! Mayor Riches could practically feel the money and influence within the palms of his hands.
He did have to thank that Rosa girl Miles kept talking about. If it were not for her, none of those opportunities would have happened. For that alone, she deserved to be one of his son's soon-to-be concubines. Well, he was sure Miles would make that into a reality if he left them alone in a room long enough, the girl's willingness to the situation disregarded of course. If anything happened, well secrets that harm the Riches family do not leave the Riches household.
He then glanced at the items on his desk. The boy's bag was laid on it; its contents having been removed from it. The pokédex was on the table, seemingly ready to be dissected by Mayor Riches' security team later to see what else could be extracted from it. Two pair of knives were retrieved from the boy. To think that the boy had these kinds of weapons concealed within his being.
But the piece de resistance was the pokéball that had the shiny lucario captive in. Mayor Riches could not help but grin. For three long years that brat had gotten the upper hand over him and ruined his plans. The boy even had the nerve to ridicule his grandson on live television using the very riolu that was stolen from him. But now, Mayor Riches could taste sweet revenge. Once he was done with everything else, he would take his sweet time torturing the rat to his pleasure, before finally making sure he would not be a thorn in his side anymore. Such is what the boy deserved for the crimes he committed against them.
"Mayor," someone said from an intercom on Mayor Riches desk. "Mr. Lapis wishes to talk to you."
"Mr. Lapis?" Mayor Riches asked, genuinely confused. "I could've sworn he had already left. Does he wish to further inquire on something? Very well, Matilda, let him through. I shall be down by the main entrance shortly."
"At once," the person said, before cutting off the line.
Mayor Riches got up from his lavish office and left to go meet with Mr. Lapis. The moment he left his room, one of his windows slowly open by themselves. From outside, Schwartzer and Hugh, riding on Latios and Flygon respectively, were elevated to the open window, and they entered through the window.
"Thanks Latios," Scwartzer said to the psychic dragon as they began to investigate the room.
"Y'know, when you said you knew a way in, I was expecting like a secret entrance, or underground, or something," Hugh said in a deadpan tone.
"This was the infiltration route Weiss provided. Supposedly this route was one of the few routes that isn't being watched by a security camera," Schwartzer countered as they recalled their respective dragons. "This way we're right at the goal point without actually having to waste effort in sneaking around."
Hugh sighed before the duo began to search the room. Hugh immediately spotted Nate's belongings on the table and rushed over to them.
"Nate's stuff!" Hugh exclaimed as he examined the items. It looked like everything was intact. That was good. Hugh was afraid that the pokédex could have been taken away. "Luca!"
Hugh saw the premier ball that held Luca captive.
"Luca!" Hugh exclaimed, running up and holding the ball up. "You're alright."
It seemed that Luca could not hear or notice Hugh. Hugh sighed in relief. They were able to at least get to Luca before it was too late.
"I would assumed that Mayor Riches would at least put up some security measures and not just leave valuable evidence lying around in plain view," Schwartzer shook his head. "He's letting his guard down way too much. Is he that confident that no one will just infiltrate his abode?"
Schwartzer then walked towards Mayor Riches desk, where his computer was still on. The man in black went over to the computer, before typing in something on the keyboard. After the input, several windows began to pop up on the screen.
"So the password worked," Schwartzer muttered as he took out a flash drive and inserted it into one of the computer's USB drives. "That says a lot, really."
The data that was shown on the screen began to get downloaded into the drive. As the data was being copied over, Schwartzer then proceeded to open some drawers in the desk, before finding several pieces of paper. Schwartzer took out the papers before looking through them.
"...Jackpot," Schwartzer muttered as he took the papers and put them inside his cloak, where the flash drive finished downloading all the necessary data. Schwartzer removed the flash drive and pocketed it. "That's all the physical evidence."
"Physical evidence?" Hugh asked as he grabbed Nate's belongings.
"I did say that the mayor was possibly hiding some skeletons in his closets," Schwartzer said. "That just turned out to be true. He has a lot of skeletons."
"...What is the mayor hiding?" Hugh asked.
"...I'll explain later. I have a feeling that's gonna happen," Schwartzer said. "...Your friend is guilty of something at least. He did in fact steal a shiny riolu from this very household three years ago. That much is the truth."
"So...he did steal Luca?" Hugh inquired.
"Yeah," Schwatzer confirmed. "However, considering the information provided...in my opinion what your friend did was perhaps the right thing."
"The right thing? What do you mean by that?"
"I mean that Nate did the right thing by stealing the riolu," Schwartzer explained. "It would've met a far worse fate had Nate left it here."
"A far worse fate...?" Hugh asked, before slowly becoming frustrated. "GAH! What does that mean?! Can't you just explain it now?!"
"Now, now, wait," Schwartzer calmed Hugh down. "I'd be wasting time explaining it here. Shouldn't we be going to save your friend?"
"Ah–fine," Hugh muttered, yielding. Schwartzer was right. He could simply explain everything later. They needed to find and save Nate before the Riches did something irreversible.
Schwartzer nodded, before placing a finger next to where his ear would be.
"Weiss, do you hear me?" Schwartzer asked, contacting Weiss from a communicator in his mask.
"Oh nice of you to join the party," Weiss responded from her end.
"Did you find Nate?" Schwartzer asked, getting Hugh's attention.
"Apparently there's an underground cellar in this mansion," Weiss replied. "Makes you wonder what kind of place the Riches is running here."
"An underground cellar?" Schwartzer asked. "Is he there?"
"Most likely," Weiss said.
"Most likely...huh...?" Schwartzer groaned. "Why didn't you retrieve him if you knew he was there?"
"Because he got some visitors," Weiss replied. "And from the looks of it when I saw them, it seemed like they were on board with breaking him out."
"...I see..." Schwartzer muttered. "Fair enough. I found the evidence we need. You mind regrouping?"
"Nice, will do," Weiss said. "Huh? Oh no..."
"Weiss?" Schwartzer asked, his tone becoming more concerned. "Is everything alright?"
"Oh it's nothing," Weiss assured Schwartzer. "I...should probably take care of this. I'll be right back."
With that prompt message, Weiss cut off her connection with Schwartzer.
"Is everything alright?" Hugh asked Schwartzer.
"It would seem that Weiss may have run into some trouble," Schwartzer said. "Although knowing her, she should be fine. She did see your friend down in the cellar, and perhaps may have already escaped."
"Then we better get a move on then," Hugh insisted.
"Indeed, we should," Schwartzer agreed.
Schwartzer headed for the door, slowly opening it and peering outside to see if anyone was nearby. Confirming that the coast was clear, Schwartzer gestured to Hugh to follow him. Hugh grabbed Nate's items and Luca, before rushing out the room with Schwartzer.
"Oh? Did something happen?"
Rosa and Yancy turned to see Miles, having returned from whatever it was that he was doing.
"You...!" Rosa growled, her hatred of the obnoxious boy in front of him returning.
"Now, now, no need to show hostility," Miles said in a smooth voice. "I'm here on good will."
"Wh-What do you want?" Yancy asked.
"Oh, is that a question you should be asking to your future boyfriend?" Miles asked.
"That's only because Dad set up us!" Yancy argued.
"Yes, but the fact still remains," Miles said as he approached Yancy, cupping her chin with his hand. "You are now mine."
Yancy glared at Miles, before slapping his arm away from her.
"Oh, feisty," Miles mumbled. "We'll fix that soon."
"What do you want?" Rosa grumbled.
"I did say that you still haven't received proper enough gratitude yet," Miles said. "And I'm here to do so."
"Alright, get on with it then," Rosa muttered.
"But of course," Miles replied graciously. "For bringing justice to that vermin, you only deserve the most privileged position and opportunities. So! Rejoice, as I have decided that you are to be my first concubine!"
Rosa and Yancy gave Miles a good, blank stare for a good minute, before they processed what Miles had just said.
"...What," Rosa flatly said.
"Oh yes," Miles replied as if he said nothing that was absolutely asinine. "You get the honor of becoming my first concubine. You get the benefits of being a part of the Riches family, with its magnificent wealth, power, and fame! And you get to be the lover of me, Miles Riches! The next heir to the Riches fortune!"
"...What..." Rosa flatly repeated. "...I thought you hated me."
"Well, while what you did to humiliate me back in Driftveil is still in my memory," Miles admitted. "I am a man of mercy. By accepting the position, I will be merciful and put that grudge in the past. And besides..."
Miles gave Rosa a thorough check with his eyes. "I would be lying if I said you didn't look absolutely delectable."
"So...let me get this straight," Rosa pinched the bridge of her nose and let out an exasperated sigh before making her statement. "Your family set you up with Yancy to be a couple against her will. And then you have the balls to declare that I become your mistress, while in front of your apparent future public girlfriend, who by the way, doesn't want anything to do with you. And to top it all off, you're effectively cheating on your apparent future public girlfriend, who again by the way, doesn't want anything to do with you, right in front of her."
"I don't see a problem," Miles replied with a grin one would love to punch. "It's not like the public is going to know about it. And you two get to enjoy my love. A much better romantic fate than if you two were still with that rat."
The two girls instantly glared at Miles at his subtle slander at Nate.
"As...Appealing as your offer may be," Rosa drawled, wording 'appealing' with as much of a sarcastic tone she could muster up. "I'm gonna have to say no."
"Oh? And why?" Miles asked, frowning.
"Because one, I don't like you. No, I hate you," Rosa stated. "Two, you actually have no tact for women if you're going to only ogle at them and then have the balls to actually try and make someone a second lover in front of your girlfriend. Three, because of that you've immortalized yourself as a disgusting human being who has no respect for women and thinks the world revolves around them to me. And I'd rather die than be your goddamn undercover lover. And besides..."
Rosa gave Miles a withering glare to get the point across. "If I'm gonna have to play second wife, then I would rather be Nate's than yours any day of my entire life."
Miles frown deepened at Rosa's scathing remarks at him, before sighing.
"I'll overlook that slander just this once," Miles said. "...But to make sure you don't do that again..."
Rosa looked confused and was about to move, before she suddenly yelped, feeling a shock course throughout her body, before finding herself being unable to move.
"Rosa–AGH?!" Yancy yelped, finding herself unable to move as well. "I–I can't...move..."
Miles smirked as a yellow, humanoid Pokémon with two spoons revealed itself, its eyes glowing an ominous pink.
"With a combination of Psychic and Disable, my alakazam here made sure that neither of you can move," Miles said smugly as he skulked towards Rosa.
"W-What're you–?!" Rosa struggled to say as she tried to reach for her pokéballs.
Miles smirked, before proceeding to push Rosa onto the table. Rosa yelped in pain, before Miles roughly grabbed one of Rosa's breasts.
"Oh, so soft and large. As expected. Simply delectable," Miles purred.
"LET GO OF ME!" Rosa screamed out, trying to break free.
"Unfortunately no," Miles denied as he reached down for Rosa's skirt. "I need to make sure you never defy me again. By teaching you a lesson you'll never forget."
"STOP IT!" Yancy yelled out, trying her best to so much as move a finger.
"Don't worry, you'll be next," Miles said to Yancy, before focusing back on Rosa. "If it's any consolation, it may hurt at the start, but I'm sure you'll enjoy it soon enough."
Rosa's eyes widened in fear from the implications as Miles began to drag down her skirt. She tried to break free, but the psychic hold the alakazam had on her was too strong, leaving her helpless to anything Miles wished to do.
"If you already did it with the rat, then I'll be very disappointed," Miles said as he continued with undressing Rosa. "I'm going to have to go more extra to punish you for that."
Rosa desperately kept trying to break free, but to no avail. Seeing as she could not escape Miles, she could only do one thing, even if it was pointless.
"NATE HEEEELP!" Rosa screamed at the top of her lungs.
"Yeah, that's a definite yikes for me."
A new voice pierced through the chaos, as one of the ventilation shafts from the ceiling shot out to the floor, before a woman cladded in all white with an opera mask descended down from it. She landed next to Miles, before proceeding to slam her foot against the boy with a strong roundhouse kick, sending him flying. The woman then immediately hurled a pokéball at the alakazam before it could react to its trainer being kicked. Out of the ball came out a bisharp, which immediately slashed Alakazam across the head, knocking it out instantly. With the alakazam down, Rosa and Yancy were immediately released from its hold. Rosa covered herself with her arms, shivering uncontrollably, where Yancy rushed over to comfort her.
"M-Ms. Weiss?" Rosa asked, recognizing her savior.
"It's been a while, Rosa," Weiss replied. "It's a good thing I found you as fast as I did. I don't even want to think about what would've happened if I was a second too late."
Rosa shivered at Weiss' implications, where Weiss went over and gave the bun-haired girl a hug.
"It's alright," Weiss cooed at Rosa. "It's alright. You're safe now. He won't harm you ever again."
Weiss' words soothed Rosa, where she sunk into Weiss' embrace feeling much more relieved.
"...I wanna see Nate..." Rosa mumbled.
"In due time," Weiss assured her, before looking over to where Miles landed.
The boy was starting to get up, before glaring at Weiss, who gave Rosa over to Yancy to confront the heir of the Riches.
"Honestly I would've thought you'd learn a lesson or two since the last time we met," Weiss chastised Miles. "But this...this is the exact opposite of learning a lesson. I'd be ashamed of you if I weren't so disgusted right now."
"You bitch!" Miles snarled. "How did you even get in?! The security in this mansion is first class! They should have spotted you!"
"Well obviously they're not since I was able to traverse the entire mansion with ease," Weiss shrugged. "Now then."
Weiss waltzed over to the fuming boy as Bisharp returned to his master's side.
"Let's see...Illegal use of Pokémon, sexual harassment, sexual assault which includes unwarranted groping, forceful undressing and attempted rape, admitting to plan to commit the same sexual assault to a celebrity, admitting to holding a concubine, which is illegal by the way," Weiss said, listing all the crimes Miles committed in the span of a few minutes. "Honestly I could go on, but I've got enough crimes on you to get you sent to prison for like a good 30 years or more."
"What authority do you have?!" Miles demanded. "I'm the heir to the Riches family!"
In response, Weiss pulled out a badge and showed it to Miles' face. The color in Miles' face instantly drained upon seeing the badge.
"I'm part of the International Police," Weiss shot back, relishing at the sight of Miles' dreading face. "I have all the authority in the world to arrest you if you committed a crime. And congratulations: you committed too many."
Miles gritted his teeth in anger, before jumping back and releasing his donphan and darmanitan.
"KILL HER!" Miles ordered angrily.
Before Donphan and Darmanitan could move, they both found themselves paralyzed. Miles frantically looked at his two Pokémon, before seeing a shiny whimsicott floating above them, cackling madly.
"Oh look, that's supposed to scare me," Weiss mockingly said, before taking out another pokéball and sending out the Pokémon contained within it. "How rich."
Out from the pokéball, a gargantuan, white golem-like Pokémon with three yellow bands covering its 'shoulders' and the middle of its body, where six black holes were decorated on the middle band in a pattern. Six gemstone-like spots adorned the sides of the middle band, with three on each side with one red, one blue and one silver in that order. It had arms as large as its body with fairly human fingers, with short legs that had moss instead of feet, with similar moss on the top of its 'head'. The golem landed with a loud thud behind its master, towering over Miles and his mouth-agape Pokémon. Rosa and Yancy were left with equally shocked expressions at the massive behemoth Weiss just sent out.
"I-Is that Regigigas?" Rosa stammered.
"This. Now this. This is what you call a scary Pokémon," Weiss told Miles. "Now, do you still wanna try to kill me? If yes, then Whimsicott will simply shoot a Worry Seed at Regigigas, and all hell breaks loose from there. Oh by the way death threats, especially those directed to officers of the Interpol, is another crime."
Gazing at the giant monstrosity that was Regigigas, Miles stared in horror, before slumping down, admitting total defeat.
"Good boy," Weiss said, as she snapped her fingers. At the response, Shiny Whimsicott shot Donphan with an Energy Ball while Bisharp swiftly slashed Darmanitan in the back, knocking him out. "You're still getting arrested."
As Weiss took out a pair of handcuffs and tossed them to Bisharp to restrain Miles, Rosa and Yancy rushed over to Weiss.
"Um, Ms. Weiss," Rosa said. "What are you doing here?"
"Hm? I'm here to make a few arrests," Weiss told Rosa. "It would seem that this 'esteemed' household is housing a bunch of otherwise innocent-looking people with some rather nasty crimes hidden away. As such, we were given a tip to go make a few arrests."
"Really...?" Yancy asked. She could not believe that her father made a deal with such a group if that was the case. And she could not believe he forced Yancy to be a couple with someone who almost tried to rape Rosa and implied to attempt to rape her as well.
"Schwartzer gathered the last remaining pieces of evidence we need," Weiss said as she recalled Regigigas. "It's about time we settle this case once and for all."
"Wait what?" Rosa asked.
"Don't worry, we'll explain everything," Weiss assured the two confused girls. "Now then, let's go save your crush."
The two girls blushed at the remark, but nonetheless nodded. Weiss then headed out of the dining hall, with the two girls in tow. Shiny Whimsicott floated after her trainer with a giggle, while Bisharp glanced at the captive Miles, smashed his fist into the boy's gut to knock him out, before slinging Miles' unconscious body over his shoulders and ran after his trainer.
Nate and Curtis, accompanied by Curtis' Luxray, were currently running through the halls, trying to find where Nate's belongings and Luca were being held.
"You got any ideas where they would be?" Curtis asked Nate.
"Odds are, that fat bastard's office," Nate replied, referring to the good mayor.
"I see," Curtis nodded. "We need to find the mayor's office then."
The boys and luxray made a sharp turn around the corner of the hall, before Nate sensed something and grabbed Curtis by the collar, stopping him from getting hit by a sudden laser beam.
"What the–!?" Curtis blurted.
In front of them were two ladies, whom Curtis recognized as the family daughter Susan, and the mother Trish respectively. Accompanying them were a bipedal, rabbit-like Pokémon by Susan's side, and a heatmor by Trish's side. Behind the two ladies were several security guards, where more swarmed in out of nowhere to block off the way the two boys came in from.
"This is where you stop, boy," Trish said.
"Tch!" Nate clicked his tongue as he instinctively reached for his pokéballs, only to realize that he had no party members to rely on.
"I'm terribly disappointed, Curtis," Susan chastised the boy in question. "I can't believe you would help this street rat escape, even though he kidnapped your sister. Perhaps I misjudged you."
Curtis gritted his teeth as he glanced around. They were completely surrounded.
"If you turn the rat over, we'll overlook this incident of yours," Susan told Curtis, eyeing the boy rather predatorily with a grin. "And I'll give you a rather intimate reward."
"...How about no..." Curtis said back, unnerved by the girl's approach.
"NATE HEEELP!"
Before the confrontation could continue, a loud girl's scream rang throughout the halls. Nate and Curtis instantly recognized the voice of the scream.
"Rosa?!" Curtis gasped.
"Oh, it would seem that Miles is going on to enjoy his rewards," Trish said.
"What the hell did you do to her!?" Curtis demanded angrily at the two women.
"I mean we aren't doing anything to her," Susan said. "But I assume Brother is doing something alright. He did say he was going to make that Rosa girl his first concubine."
"WHAT?!" Curtis gasped.
"I would assume as we speak Miles is 'marking his property' so to speak," Trish shrugged. "I do hope dear Rosa and Yancy are still virgins. Otherwise dear Miles will be more provoked and make a bigger mess than it needs to be."
"...YOU BITCH!" Curtis yelled with fury, realizing what Trish was implying.
"Y'know you lot are real pieces of work, y'know that?" Nate asked in a rather heated tone. "That bastard is raping two innocent girls as we speak–one of them is a celebrity idol that's been missing for a month by the way–, and you fucks think that's alright!?"
"I mean if no one on the outside finds out, then there shouldn't be a problem," Trish shrugged.
"Y'know I said this once to that idiot, and I didn't really mean it. But I DEFINITELY mean this when I say this to you fucks," Nate growled. "–I'm going to fucking kill you."
"Do go ahead and try," Susan taunted. "Lopunny, Jump Kick."
"Heatmor, Flame Burst!" Trish commanded.
"Thunderbolt!"
The lopunny jumped into the air before lunging at the boys with a striking kick, while Heatmor shot a ball of fire at them. Luxray, in response, unleashed a huge torrent of electricity, electrocuting the lopunny and stopping the Flame Burst.
"Please tell me you have another Pokémon," Nate told Curtis, who promptly gave him one of his other party members.
Nate accepted the ball, and sent out Curtis' Rampardos. Rampardos glanced at Curtis, who pointed to Nate. Rampardos glanced back at Nate and understood the situation they were in, before glaring at his opposition.
"Head Smash!" Nate barked.
Rampardos roared before charging straight at the downed lopunny. The men behind Susan and Trish sent out an army of golbats, whom all shot several Shadow Balls at Rampardos, stopping the dinosaur in his tracks.
"Oh for fuck's sake," Nate muttered as Rampardos jumped back.
"Capture the rat!" Trish commanded.
At the command, the men in black that was surrounding them all lunged for Nate. Nate looked around, before producing the knives in his shoes as Rampardos slammed the men away with his tail. Nate proceeded to kick away several of the men trying to apprehend him with the knives on the back of his heels slicing them and keeping them at bay. Meanwhile Curtis was forced to fight off Susan's Lopunny and Heatmor by himself with Nate being occupied with the security men.
"Discharge!"
Luxray roared out, before unleashing a flare of electricity all around him, electrocuting the golbats that were hovering over them.
"You do realize that resisting is only delaying the inevitable, right?" Trish asked as Heatmor kept firing away. "I'm sure by now Miles has deflowered the two and claimed them as his own. If not, then I'm sure he's still going."
The taunt was enough to make the already furious Nate snap. As he slammed his fist into one security man and punched him away, he broke the knife off of his shoe, before grabbing it and aiming at Trish.
"SHUT UUUUUP!" Nate screamed as he hurled it at the woman.
The knife would have embedded itself into Trish's face, had Heatmor not intercepted it with a well-timed Flame Burst, blasting it away and into a wall. Nate got the other knife to try again, but that only distracted him enough for one of the men to grab him from behind.
"SHI–!" Nate swore, before another man punched him in the gut, removing all the air out of him.
"Nate!" Curtis cried out, before he yelped in pain as one golbat that managed to survive shot him from behind with a Shadow Ball.
A few of the men rushed over to pin Curtis on the ground, leaving both Rampardos and Luxray with their commanders down. Nate tried to break free, but the man holding Nate pulled out a gun and placed it to Nate's temple. The boy's eyes widened like saucers, feeling the cold metal of the gun's barrel right next to his head. One of the men that pinned down Curtis did the same, pointing his gun at the back of Curtis' head. Rampardos and Luxray frantically looked at the two boys, but refused to make a move, not wishing to provoke them to pull the trigger.
"Now, that's better," Trish said. "Honestly, making this much of a mess. This won't go unpunished."
Nate and Curtis could only send seething glares at the damn woman, who did not care and merely waltzed over to Nate.
"Well as punishment for you," Trish said to Curtis. "I'm sure Susan would like a new playmate, per say."
Susan sported another lecherous grin on her face when her mother declared Curtis' punishment. Trish then stared Nate straight in the eyes, seeing the pure rage emanating from the boy.
"And as for you," Trish said. "Honestly just throw him back into the prison. I'm sure Father would want to deal with you personally."
As she said that, a loud thud shook briefly shook the entire house, momentarily stopping everyone.
"...That was strange," Trish commented. "I don't know what kind of foreplay Miles must be doing, but I'm sure the two girls will be feeling that for a while."
Nate growled at the woman, but the gun barrel was shoved closer into Nate's temple, making him stop.
"Oh? Do you perhaps actually care for the two girls?" Trish asked. "Oh don't worry, they'll be in good care. I'm sure Miles will even let you see them afterwards. While you're back in your prison rotting and they fully became Miles' dedicated lovers. I do hope you're mature enough to handle some rather mature love by then."
Nate's fury could not get any higher, but it started to as Nate wished nothing more than to somehow manage to break free and rip this wretched woman's head from her throat.
"What is the meaning of all this?"
Trish and Susan, along with the security men looked up, and turned around to see Mayor Riches, accompanied by his wife, Clairdonna, and a horrified Mr. Lapis.
"What is going on here?!" Mr. Lapis demanded, before spotting Curtis. "Curtis?!"
"Dad!" Curtis yelled.
"Indeed, what is the meaning of this ruckus?" Mayor Riches asked, seemingly unfazed by neither the astonished Mr. Lapis, or the guns positioned at the boys.
"Oh nothing, Father, Mother," Trish told them. "Curtis broke the rat out of his jail, but we managed to catch them before they could actually escape."
Mayor Riches was going to reply, but he was interrupted by the buzzing of his phone going off. The man sighed, before ignoring the phone. He would answer that later. What was unfolding before him was more important at the moment.
"I see," Mayor Riches said, before turning to Curtis. "I'm very disappointed to hear this, Mr. Curtis. However, since no one escaped, I can let this one slide."
Curtis did not respond at all. Mayor Riches shrugged, before walking over to Nate.
"And as for you boy," Mayor Riches said. "I knew that jail wouldn't be enough to contain you. Feel proud, for I had high expectations for you, including your abilities to deceive others to help you escape."
"BULLSHIT!" Nate snarled at Mayor Riches.
"Regardless," Mayor Riches said, disregarding Nate. "I'll make sure you're put in a much more fitting prison."
Nate was seeing red. The man that held Luca captive and threw him into jail; the one who was running this shit-show of a household; the one who managed to deceive a whole town and keep their dark secrets locked behind their doors. Nate wanted nothing more than to run the fat bastard into the ground. But he knew that so much as one move and his brain would be splattered across the wall. And even if they did manage to escape, they may as well be too late, as Miles most likely did the damage to them.
At this point, Nate wished. Nate could only wish. Nate wished for a miracle. A miracle that could completely reverse the situation and expose this damned family for everything they did. He did not care how. He just wanted someone, ANYONE, to bring down justice, whether he be caught in the crossfire as a casualty be damned.
Nate wished for a miracle to happen.
"How about we put you in a fitting prison first?"
And just like that, a miracle was delivered.
Everyone froze and turned around. Behind them all was Schwartzer, accompanied by his Latios, along with Hugh, who was carrying Hugh's bag.
"Wha–?! Where did you get those?!" Mayor Riches demanded, yelling at Hugh. "Damn it, who let you sneak in?!"
"Hugh!" Nate exclaimed.
Hugh saw Nate being held captive and began to move to save him, but Schwartzer stopped him. The blunette shot up to his ally, where he shook his head and gestured at him to wait.
"Mayor Zillion Riches," Schwartzer said. "You managed to hide them for all this time, which is impressive. But this pathetic charade ends here."
"...Oh, do tell me," Mayor Riches asked. "What exactly are you talking about?"
"Sans the youngest child of the family, who's another victim and too young to commit a crime, and the father of the family whom you exiled for standing against you," Schwartzer said. "All of the members of the Riches Family are guilty of at least one crime that must be punished."
"Oh aren't you just a card," Clairdonna laughed. "Do tell us then. What kind of crime are we all guilty of?"
"My colleague has the evidence for you three and your grandson," Schwartzer said as he took out the papers he had obtained from Mayor Riches' office. "But let's just start with the ringleader."
While the other three Riches simply scoffed, Mayor Riches' eyes widened in panic upon seeing the papers in Schwartzer's hand.
"SEIZE THOSE PAPERS!" Mayor Riches suddenly yelled.
Everyone looked confused, but two of the security guards did as they were told and approached Schwartzer, but Latios glared at the two, intimidating them and forcing them to yield.
"These are some rather important papers, aren't they Mayor?" Schwartzer asked the mayor, who was starting to visibly panic. "They should be. They possess records. Receipts, you could call them even."
"Receipts?" Hugh asked.
"Yes, receipts," Schwartzer said. "Let's cut to the chase, Nate did in fact steal a shiny riolu from this household three years ago."
Nate and Curtis looked up. Could he have possibly found out?
"Well then more the reason to put him behind bars and not us," Clairdonna insisted.
"But," Schwartzer interrupted. "In my opinion, what Nate did was by far the best case scenario."
"What?" Mr. Lapis asked. "What do you mean?"
"What I mean is that the shiny riolu that was here three years ago, along with countless other Pokémon," Schwartzer explained. "They were all illegally poached and hunted by Mayor Riches, and they were all sold off to black markets and underground businesses."
"What?!" Hugh and Mr. Lapis gasped.
"That's ridiculous!" Clairdonna tried to defend her husband, now starting to panic.
"The proof is right here," Schwartzer said, holding up the papers. "These papers contain the documented transactions of countless illegal transactions of poached Pokémon between the Riches and countless black markets. The shiny riolu was among the hunted Pokémon intended to be sold off. Or would have been, had Nate not stole it beforehand in the first place. And considering how far back these date to, your poaching and selling business must have been around for at least 8 years now.
"How funny. The fortune of the Riches that was used to glorify Undella Town was built from poached Pokémon. In fact, had Nate not stolen the shiny riolu, it would have been sold off to Team Plasma, which the family currently has a standing alliance with. For a rather hefty amount of profit at that too."
"WHAT?!"
Nate and Curtis looked surprised as well. They knew that Luca was to be sold off, but they did not knew that Luca's buyers were from Team Plasma.
"The family has been in fact supporting Team Plasma, the old and current, with their poached Pokémon among other products and materials," Schwartzer revealed. "In exchange, Team Plasma have been their most common buyer. So not only has Mayor Riches, and by extension the Riches Family, have been running an illegal poaching business, he has also been in league with Team Plasma, a globally recognized terrorist organization."
The truth about Mayor Riches had been revealed, with all eyes now on the mayor. The mayor was red as a beet from anger and panic, as he had his biggest, darkest secret revealed to the open.
"I do suggest you let go of the boys," Schwartzer said, gesturing to Nate and Curtis. "In fact, Latios will do that for you."
Latios nodded, before his eyes glowed bright blue. The men that were keeping the boys captive were forcibly removed from them, allowing Nate and Curtis to get back up, before moving away from them.
"Thanks, but there's no time!" Curtis yelled. "Miles is raping Rosa and Yancy as we speak!"
"WHAT?!" Hugh and Mr. Lapis yelled.
"No, no he's not."
They all turned to behind Schwartzer, this time seeing Weiss with Rosa and Yancy, with her shiny whimsicott and bisharp carrying an unconscious Miles. Nate and Curtis rushed over to the two girls.
"You guys alright?" Nate asked. "That bastard didn't do anything, right?"
"Y-Yeah..." Rosa mumbled while Yancy nodded as well, both blushing at the sight of Nate while being relieved that he was alright.
Nate let out a sigh of relief, before glancing back at Schwartzer and Weiss. A venomous glare was sent by Nate to Schwartzer, which was returned by the masked man, but that was it. Even Nate knew better than to try and attack the man that was saving him.
"I mean he was going to rape Rosa," Weiss told the group as Bisharp dropped Miles to the floor like a garbage bag. "But I was able to stop it before he could do any damage."
"So that's why you cut off," Schwartzer commented.
"So Miles Riches is guilty of at least six counts of sexual assault, and at least three counts for illegal use of Pokémon," Weiss said, before deciding to reveal everything she learned while sneaking around the Riches mansion. "While the rest of you aren't looking so innocent either.
"Susan Riches is guilty of several counts of solicitation of several men within or outside of Undella for the sake of profit. Trish Riches is guilty of selling illegal drugs and narcotics to impoverished citizens of Undella, which is actually a part of the reason why the town can't seem to process that their mayor could anything wrong. Clairdonna Riches is guilty of sending fake census reports of Undella Town to the Unova Pokémon League, making their data of Undella Town completely outdated and flawed. And finally all of you are guilty of criminal negligence of all the crimes, from the illegal poaching to the solicitation and to Miles trying to rape Rosa and Yancy. So basically you're all sick and are all absolutely going to jail right now."
"And what authority do you have?!" Trish demanded.
Weiss merely laughed as Schwartzer took out a badge from his coat and showed it to them.
"Weiss and I are agents of the International Police," Schwartzer revealed. "And we were tasked to investigate the suspicious activities of the Riches Family. And lucky us, you're all guilty of a lot of shit."
While Rosa and Yancy did not seem surprised, as they had already learned that Weiss was an agent of the Interpol and could accurately predict that Schwartzer was one as well, the news took everyone else by shock.
"You...?" Nate asked, glancing at Schwartzer.
"How does it feel?" Schwartzer asked Mayor Riches and his family. "To have your seemingly untouchable throne forged through countless hidden crimes, toppled within the matter of minutes, sending you all to the earth to be judged? I do believe that you must feel rather peeved. I do feel bad for the town to be deceived by the likes of you."
"...How dare you," Mayor Riches growled at Schwartzer. "I am Zillion Riches. I am the patriarch of the Riches Family! I have donated countless amounts of my own wealth to this deadbeat town and made it prosper! Without me, this town would have forever been a trash pit! This town has me to thank for its flourishing state!"
"And I do wonder how that town would feel knowing said wealth came from innocent Pokémon poached and sold to the underground market,' Schwartzer wondered.
"It matters not where the wealth came from! The only thing that matters is that Undella is among the top-rated societies within Unova because of it!" Mayor Riches shot back. "I am the king of Undella! Remove me and this town will immediately drop down back into its pathetic state before I decided to support it!"
"That's a bit of an overstatement, don't you think?" Schwartzer asked, unfazed. "Mayors aren't usually 'kings'. Undella Town can and will function just fine under new leadership. Contrary to what you believe, you aren't irreplaceable."
Mayor Riches gritted his teeth, before pointing at Schwartzer with anger.
"You...who the hell are you?" Mayor Riches demanded. "I am Zillion Riches! My actions have boomed Undella Town, making me the absolute authority of this town! My word is law here! All those sheep who live in this town are nothing more than livestock to keep my foundation rich and bountiful! I am above you! I am above everyone in this house! I AM ABOVE EVERYONE THAT LIVES IN THIS GODFORSAKEN TOWN! YOU HAVE NO AUTHORITY OVER ME IN THIS TOWN! SO WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE TO CHALLENGE ME IN MY DOMAIN!?"
Everyone looked shocked at Mayor Riches and the man's rage-induced outburst. The old man was panting from his own yelling to get his point across. Mayor Riches poured his entire being in his speech to dominate his authority over the Interpol agent who dared tried to defy him.
However, Schwartzer simply began to chuckle, before descending into a mad howling laughter. Everyone sans Weiss looked at Schwartzer funnily, as if he had just grown a second head.
"You believe that actions equate to a person's position in society," Schwartzer said in fits of laughter. "How rich! In that case, then I stand above you."
"Impossible!" Mayor Riches growled.
"But of course," Schwartzer said as he reached for his robe and mask. "If you claim to be above us simply because you bolstered the town through donations..."
Schwartzer removed his hood, revealing brown hair that reached his neck. Schwartzer grabbed his mask, where the head piece and mouth piece began to recede back into the mask, before the mask became a shape similar to Weiss' mask. Schwartzer removed the mask to reveal his face to everyone in the room. All widened eyes were on the now unmasked Schwartzer. Brown hair adorned his head, with sharp red eyes and a small scar that was placed on the middle of his forehead.
"Then I, who saved the entire region from falling to Team Plasma's revolution," Schwartzer declared. "Should stand above you as the savior of Unova."
Everyone had widened eyes and agape mouths at the sight of the unmasked Schwartzer. While the features on his face themselves were unremarkable at first, the face was all that everyone needed to instantly recognize who Schwartzer was.
"It's been a while Mayor," Schwartzer said to Mayor Riches. "Pretty sure the last time we met was two years ago at Undella Town."
"Y-Y-Y-You're–!" Mayor Riches gasped.
"H-Hilbert Warren?!" Rosa gasped, recognizing her idol.
"Yeah, that's right," 'Schwartzer', or Hilbert, said. "'Schwartzer' was nothing more than a disguise and codename given to me by the Interpol. My real name is Hilbert Warren, the one who saved Unova from Team Plasma alongside Zekrom two years ago."
"Wait," Rosa said, turning to Weiss. "Did you know about this?!"
"Well of course," Weiss said as she casually took off her opera mask to reveal her face to Rosa. "I mean he is my boyfriend and partner."
"WHA–?!" Rosa blurted, recognizing Weiss' true identity. "HILDA WARREN?!"
"...Sis..." Nate muttered.
"It's been a while, little bro," Hilda replied.
"Wha–Ah–You're a fake!" Trish suddenly yelled. "The real Hilbert Warren went missing a year ago! There's no way you're him!"
"Acting out of desperation isn't exactly pretty, y'know," Hilbert rolled his eyes. "Whether you believe me or not, I honestly don't care. It doesn't change the fact that I am Hilbert, and you lot are all under arrest."
"You...you think you can take down every one of us?!" Susan challenged as all the Riches' Pokémon turned to Hilbert. Susan's Lopunny and Trish's Heatmor, along with the army of golbats that hovered over Hilbert readied themselves to stop the intruder. Clairdonna even added to the mix, sending out her golurk to stop Hilbert. Hilbert merely scoffed as he took out a pokéball and sent out a large, quadruped, sea-lion-like Pokémon; Hilbert's signature Samurott.
"You'd be underestimating me if you think that's enough to stop me," Hilbert said in response. "Samurott, it's been a while since we got some action like this. No need for any convoluted strategies like usual. Go nuts. Just don't hurt Nate or his friend."
"-Yeah, yeah, leave it to me,-" Samurott let out his usual devilish, almost feral smirk as he brandished one of his seamitars. "-It's been a while indeed. It's been a while since I'm allowed to let loose a rampage!-"
Rosa saw the samurott from Hilbert and instantly recognized him as Hilbert's signature Samurott that dealt the final blow to Alder's Volcarona back when Hilbert fought the former champion, and the samurott that inspired Rosa to choose Ottavia all the way back at Aspertia City. This man, he was indeed Hilbert Warren, the very man that inspired Rosa to become Unova's champion!
Samurott's seamitar glowed blue as Samurott let out a loud roar and charged at the army of Pokémon poised to stop him. The golbats all immediately shot Shadow Balls at Samurott. Samurott in response swung his blade across him, deflecting all the Shadow Balls back at the golbats while sending a blue wave of energy that sliced the golbats, picking them off like flies in an instant. Samurott looked up to see Lopunny already in the air, striking down at Samurott with a Jump Kick. Samurott merely sniggered as he lifted his blade up, shielding himself from Lopunny's attack with ease. Samurott then swung the flat of his blade across Lopunny, blasting the bunny straight through the wall. Samurott turned his eyes back to his opposition, where Heatmor shot an intense Flamethrower at Samurott. Samurott prepped his blade, before lunging at Heatmor, charging straight through the Flamethrower with no hesitation, before getting close to a now-panicking Heatmor and slamming his blade down on the Fire-type, slamming him straight through the floor.
Samurott shot a glance at Trish and Susan, who both had looks of pure fear on their faces as they cowered away screaming. Clairdonna's Golurk rushed over to slam its fist into Samurott, but the Water-type juggernaut managed to block the fist with his blade with much ease.
"-Keh! I've beaten a stronger golem than you!-" Samurott goaded as he shot a Blizzard at Golurk.
The cold winds froze Golurk's face and chest, causing the golem to step back. Samurott then brandished his other seamitar, before jumping into the air and slamming both across Golurk, sending the golem crashing down to the ground, completely unconscious. The Riches looked horrified at how Samurott single-handedly and brutally wiped out their entire fleet of Pokémon.
The others on the other hand were shocked and amazed at Hilbert's exhibition of his power. The kids sans Nate, in particular, were simply astonished by Hilbert. They were aware of how strong he was as 'Schwartzer', but it was surreal to see the same kind of power, if not more so, as the legendary Black Hero of Unova, Hilbert Warren.
"Amazing..." Rosa could only say in awe at the sight of her idol.
It was this time that Miles chose to finally wake up from being knocked unconscious.
"Wha...?" Miles slurred, looking around. "What's going on...?"
"Oh, you woke up," Hilda commented glancing down on the boy.
Rosa and Yancy backed away instinctively, as Miles was only met with glares from the boys. Miles then noticed Hilbert and Samurott, who looked back down on the heir of the Riches.
"Oh so you're the rapist," Hilbert muttered as he looked down on Miles.
Miles stared at Hilbert for a good second, before recognizing the person in front of him.
"H-HILBERT WARREN!?" Miles gasped.
"Oh? A fan?" Hilbert asked.
"A-As if!" Miles spat.
"Oh c'mon now, we've just met," Hilbert grumbled. "Why're you already pissed off?"
"You abandoned the country to do whatever it is you pleased!" Miles yelled. "You're just a fraud! I'M the true hero here!"
"...Y'know, you're a real piece of work, y'know that?" Hilbert asked, effortlessly mirroring Nate just a few moments ago. "You think I'm a fraud because I was enrolled into the Interpol and disappeared for a year to track down the remnants of Team Plasma. You then claim yourself to be the 'hero' when all you've done is be a fucking pompous ass who tried to rape two minors. I don't know if you think that highly of yourself or if you're just a hopeless idiot."
"WHY YOU–!" Miles growled as Hilbert looked around, examining how surprisingly spacious the halls were. "You may have beaten the others, but I'm not like them! I'll–!"
"–Surely defeat you, yes I can tell you're gonna say that," Hilbert said as he took out a pokéball. "How predictable. You and your family think that I'm a fraud. While I honestly couldn't give a patrat's ass whether you believe me or not, I can easily prove to you that I'm real."
Miles looked confused as Hilbert threw the pokéball into the air, releasing the Pokémon that was contained in it. One good look, and everyone stared at the behemoth in either shock, awe, fear, or a mix of all three.
Floating above Hilbert was a gargantuan, black, bipedal dragon. The dragon was huge, cladded with dark patches on several parts of its body. Its head sports a thundercloud-like crest tipped with light-blue coloration, where it had two large wings, seemingly webbed hands with three claws, a large turbine-like tail, and had red scleras, white irises, and black pupils. To everyone within the room, the dragon was instantly recognizable.
"Z-Z-Z-Z-Z-Zekrom...?" Miles gasped in fear.
"Now then," Hilbert challenged, getting Miles' attention. "If you think I'm a fraud, then surely you should be able to beat me. Go on. Try me. Send out your Pokémon. Fight me. If you think you can beat me, that is."
Miles stared at the legendary dragon at Hilbert's command in awe and fear, before yielding, knowing full well that there was no way he could take on Hilbert; especially with the legendary Zekrom on his side.
"Now then," Hilbert said, turning to Mayor Riches. "You're all out of options, it would seem. What do you plan to do now?"
Mayor Riches merely gritted his teeth at Hilbert, seeing as how that was the only option for him since every other option failed miserably in front of him. Mayor Riches could send out his own Pokémon, but unlike his grandson, he knew very well that there was no way he could defeat Hilbert.
While everyone else that was not a Riches was looking at Hilbert in awe. Nate, on the other hand, kept his stare at Zekrom. Nate knew that Schwartzer was Hilbert the moment he recognized the shiny haxorus! And now the other legendary dragon of Unova, Zekrom, was right there! It was so close that Nate could practically reach out to grab him! But Nate knew too well that there was no way he could steal Zekrom from Hilbert at the moment. He had no Pokémon on him (disregarding Curtis' Rampardos he let him use which was in no way viable for Nate to try and pull a heist), Hilbert was poised to simply strike him down, and even if Nate was somehow able to steal Zekrom, he still had to get Luca back, and Weiss was right next to Hugh, who probably have her safe and secure considering he's holding Nate's bag. Nate could only curse himself, especially two years ago when Nate decided to spare Hilbert and not steal Zekrom. That moment of mercy was coming back to haunt him and Nate had no one to blame but himself.
Hilbert noticed Nate's heavy gaze at Zekrom, but pretended to not notice. He had bigger fish to fry at the moment right in front of him. Hilbert then took out an earpiece from his pocket, before equipping and turning it on.
"Schwartzer to all units," Hilbert said through the microphone attached to it. "All suspects have been found. Proceed with the breach. Agent Looker, lead the breach team."
Hilbert then set his glare at the Riches. "Riches family, you are all under arrest. You all have the right to remain silent, although I doubt that's gonna be a thing, considering what kind of people you are."
"Wait, but if we're all arrested, then what of the Riches inheritance?" Clairdonna asked.
"I was informed there were at least two people outside of you lot," Hilbert retorted. "Obviously with all of you arrested, the inheritance goes to one of them."
"Impossible!" Mayor Riches argued. "Draco is too young to inherit the rights to the family inheritance, and that damn Million was exiled from the family!"
"I'm not too sure about that," Hilbert shrugged. "We can always just send someone to replace you as mayor."
"Then the people will think that it was a conspiracy ran by you Interpol!" Mayor Riches shot back. "Without a proper successor, the people will riot that you unjustly removed me from the office mayor!"
"And that's where you're wrong."
A new voice interrupted Mayor Riches' tirade. All eyes went over to behind Hilbert, where a man wearing a large cloak was standing at the end of the hall, a few inches away from Hilbert.
"Right on time, I suppose," Hilbert mused. "Thank you for the information on the crimes committed by the rest of your family. We were able to confirm the accusations and have arranged for their detainment."
"Wha–?! Wait, that voice..." Mayor Riches muttered, before paling at the sight of the cloaked man. "YOU!"
"I'm glad you at least remember me," the man said, removing his hood to reveal a face that looked like an older, more mature-looking Miles. "It's been a while, Father."
"MILLION!" Mayor Riches growled, recognizing his son. "You told the Interpol about everything?!"
"Everything," Million Riches shot back. "I exposed all of your crimes to the Interpol."
"But...but why?" Susan asked her father.
"To expose the crimes you've all been hiding for years? To bring justice to what you've all become? Petty revenge for exiling me? Call my reason as you see fit," Million responded. "But I will not stand and let you abuse your power to make Undella your playground while committing countless atrocities for your own indulgences and greed."
As Million and Mayor Riches stared each other down, Bianca, now accompanied by Cheren who met up with them, ran from out of the halls, catching up to Million.
"Wait up!" Bianca yelled out, panting slightly. "Sheesh, are you sure it's alright running around someone's house without–?"
Bianca looked up, spotting the man she and Cheren were chasing, before spotting the unmistakable form of Zekrom.
"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEH!?" Bianca yelled, pointing her finger at Zekrom, before spotting the unmistakable face of Hilbert and pointing at him instead. "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHHH!?"
"H-Hilbert...!?" Cheren gasped, noticing Hilbert, before spotting Hilda as well. "And Hilda too!?"
"Bianca? Cheren?" Hilbert blurted, not expecting to see his two childhood friends here as well.
"Wait, they weren't part of the plan," Hilda mumbled.
"I happened to help Miss Bianca from getting forcibly detained by your dogs," Million explained, shooting a hateful glare at his father.
"And I called Cheren for help!" Bianca added on.
"I see..." Hilda mumbled.
"I'll explain everything later," Hilbert said, turning back to the culprits. "Now then. All the evidence is out, and I do believe we have a suitable 'successor' to replace you when we arrest your ass."
"Guh...!" Mayor Riches gagged, cursing the unexpected return of his estranged son, before trying to defend himself. "N-No one will still believe any of this! It's too outlandish for those sheep to believe! Even if you detain me, they will rise up in outrage for my unjust arrest!"
"We can just go to the security room and extract this entire moment," Hilbert pointed out. "You have almost the entire house under camera, including this hallway."
"My men control the security room and the footage!" Mayor Riches shot back triumphantly. "They will delete this entire conversation! Your proof will be null and void!"
At that very moment, his phone decided to buzz for the umpteenth time today. Mayor shot a dirty glare at his phone pocket, seemingly annoyed with how it has been constantly interrupting him.
"Go ahead," Hilbert said, gesturing at the mayor to respond to the noise. Mayor Riches took out his cellphone and answered it.
"What!?" Mayor Riches barked.
"Sir! We've been trying to contact you for the past half hour!" the man on the other line replied, loud enough for everyone else to hear. "There's a problem!"
"What kind of problem!?" Mayor Riches demanded, inwardly cursing himself for not answering the phone sooner.
"AGH!"
From around the hallway behind Mayor Riches, two men emerged, carrying Draco, who was trying his best to break free.
"Draco?!" Curtis gasped.
"Wha–Damn it, kid I told you to stay out of this!" Nate yelled.
"From our cameras, we spotted Young Master Draco hiding from behind the hallways behind you." The man replied. "And he seems to have been recording the whole conversation."
"What?!" Mayor Riches gasped.
Mayor Riches scanned his grandson with his fearsome eyes, before spotting what he assumed to be a recording device that the boy was clutching to his chest.
"Give me the device, Draco," Mayor Riches demanded. "You know anything that incriminates us must be dealt with."
"No!" Draco yelled, refusing to let go of the device.
"Draco, do as your grandfather tells you," Trish warned her son.
"You're all just gonna try to get away with the bad things you all did!" Draco yelled back.
"Listen here you stupid brat!" Mayor Riches growled at Draco. "We let you live here and raised you in luxury when we could have easily disowned you like your damn father! You had everything any snot-nosed brat could only hope to achieve! Now listen to your family and HAND OVER THAT THING YOU HAVE THERE!"
"If I had everything a child could want," Draco shot back. "Then where was the family that actually cared about me and not just leave me around to bully and torture!?"
"That's absurd!" Susan argued. "We cared about you! We don't torture or bully you!"
"Then check the cameras then!" Draco challenged. "They record everything! Including everything you all did to me!"
"Delete the recordings. Now," Mayor Riches ordered to his men.
"The fact that you feel the need to delete the recordings mean that the boy's right," Hilbert said.
Mayor Riches gritted his teeth in frustration, before tearing Draco out of his men's arms.
"You shitty brat!" Mayor Riches growled. "We let you live and shelter you, and this is how you repay that!? Well if that's how you wish to act..."
Mayor Riches kept holding Draco in a chokehold, before proceeding towards a nearby window.
"Wait, what're you–?" Hilbert asked, his serious expression finally breaking.
"THEN YOU CAN GO DIE WITH THAT REBELLION OF YOURS!" Mayor Riches screeched, before proceeding to throw Draco out of the window.
Nate's eyes, as did everyone else's eyes, widened in shock as the fat man threw his own grandchild out of the window from what could be several stories above the ground. It seemed like time slowed down for him as he witnessed the heinous act.
For Nate, an image flashed in his mind. A mental image of a ruthless-looking man cladded in black garbs holding him by the neck outside of a window from a dark decrypt castle. He could see the distinguishable sight of his late father frantically running for him, before the man in black let go of him on the orders of a crazed and vile priest with long green hair, letting him plummet to the ground from hundreds of thousands of feet.
Before anyone else could react, Nate immediately bulleted towards the window, slamming his arm across Mayor Riches' stomach to push the man aside, before jumping out the window to save Draco.
"NATE!" Hilbert cried out.
Nate careened after the screaming Draco, somehow managing to reach him and grabbing him in his arms. Draco looked up to see Nate having a hold of him, before the boy switched his position so that Nate hit the ground first and cushion Draco's fall.
"GAH!?"
But the fatal impact to the ground never came. Nate and Draco ended up falling onto a floating screen that suddenly appeared below him before the two hit the ground.
"What the...?" Nate blurted, looking around to see the screen he was on.
"That was a close call, do you think not?"
Nate and Draco looked up to see a young woman wearing a white dress with a translucent pink cloth and extremely long blonde hair, riding aboard a metagross, with a humanoid Pokémon with a primarily black body, as if it was a dress, floating next to the woman and metagross. From the humanoid's glowing eyes, it seemed to be what created the platform underneath Nate and Draco and saved the two.
"That was rather noble and courageous, if not foolish," the woman complimented Nate.
"Elite Four...?" Nate muttered, recognizing the woman in front of her.
"Are they alright, Caitlin?"
"Yes, they are, Iris."
Nate and Draco looked up to see a hydreigon hovering above Caitlin and her Pokémon. Standing on the hydreigon was to Nate's surprise, Iris. Her attire was completely different than what she wore last time she had met the group: her hair was tied into a long ponytail, while she was wearing a white and carnation-pink dress with large and long sleeves, flowing ribbons, and frilly ends that made her look like a royal princess. A small golden crown adorned itself upon her head with two emeralds encrusted within the triangle-shaped sides.
"You–Iris?" Nate asked.
"It's been a while," Iris said with a smile. "Don't worry. I'll take care of this."
Hydreigon floated over to Draco, where Iris got down to his eye level.
"Hi there," Iris said calmly. "That was a close call, huh."
"U-Y-yeah..." Draco stuttered.
"Do you mind if I see that thing you're holding?" Iris asked nicely. "We'll make sure that everyone knows about the terrible things that happened in this house."
"Wait, how do you already know everything?" Nate asked skeptically, somewhat suspicious of how Iris knew of the whole situation even though they had seemingly just arrived.
"I was listening in on everything through my own psychic powers," Caitlin explained. "You may not believe it, but what matters at the moment is that we are aware of the actions the Riches have committed while upholding the responsibilities of governing Undella Town."
Draco looked at Nate, unsure of what to do. Nate shrugged, before beckoning at Draco to do as Iris asked, which Draco complied by giving her the recorder.
"Thank you," Iris said, accepting the device and being lifted up by Hydreigon. "Caitlin."
"Very well," Caitlin replied while snapping her fingers. "Gothitelle."
The humanoid, Gothitelle, nodded, before using her innate psychic powers to create two psychic boxes to serve the purpose of speakers of sorts. From below them to the ground, the townsfolks of Undella had gathered, wondering what was going on at the mansion of their beloved mayor. Seeing that she had an audience, Iris sported a more serious expression before she made her speech.
"People of Undella Town!" Iris yelled out, her voice being amplified by the psychic speakers Gothitelle created. "I am Iris Lilia! I am the Champion of Unova's Pokémon League! I have come here with the information that your mayor and his family is guilty of several crimes against Unova, deceiving and manipulating every single one of you in the process!"
She was met with the reaction of the town, seemingly digesting and discussing the information she had just delivered to them, before reacting with outcries of anger and disbelief, presumably at Iris for claiming that their mayor was in fact a more vile person than they were led to believe.
Iris was not fazed by the town's anger, before she held up the audio recorder and played back the audio that was recorded within it. Amplified by the speakers, everything that Mayor Riches and his family had said, along with all the accusations Hilbert and Hilda announced, had been broadcasted to the town in a booming volume. The audio lasted as long as it did, with the town learning of Mayor Riches true nature from the voice of the man himself, including how he simply used the town for his own gain, and thought nothing of them outside of them being sheep. The undisputable and recognizable voice of Mayor Riches silenced the crowd into a state of shock.
"I understand that you are all shocked and confused," Iris went on. "But Mayor Zillion Riches has been lying and manipulating you all ever since he instated himself into his position for his own monetary gain! He is nothing more than a vile creature who is guilty of not only deceiving the innocent town of Undella, but of countless other corruptions and wrongdoings and endangering and enslaving countless innocent Pokémon for the sake of profit! And you all are content with that!?"
Iris quickly got a loud shout of anger from the town, but this one was out of disgust at the true nature of their mayor and the demand for justice to be brought down upon the man and his guilty family.
"The International Police Force has already infiltrated the Riches Estate to detain the guilty party and to bring justice upon them!" Iris announced. "...By the power invested in me as the Champion of Unova, I declare that Zillion Riches and his cohorts are all guilty of these charges and to be placed under arrest!"
From inside the estate, everyone minus Hilbert and Hilda watched the outside debacle with agape mouths and shocked expressions as the roaring crowd of Undella could be heard from outside. Hilbert walked over to Hugh, placing a hand on his shoulder, seemingly snapping him out of his stupor.
"See? Told you that you wouldn't regret it," Hilbert said to the blunette.
Hugh looked up and could only dumbly nod in response. Hugh was completely stunned to learn that Iris, the carefree, happy-go-lucky, but admittedly powerful girl that he had met all the way back in Castelia was in fact the current Champion of Unova. While he was aware that there was a new Champion after Alder resigned from his position, the new champion's identity was shrouded in mystery. To think that it was none other than Iris was quite the shock to Hugh. He had such a powerful ally within a phone call's reach this whole time. He looked around to see that everyone else was equally as shocked. Hugh could only imagine what was going on in Rosa's head, seeing how Iris was in fact the person she was striving to become. But then again, considering everything that must have happened, perhaps Iris being the Champion of Unova was possibly the last thing on Rosa's mind.
Caitlin motioned at Gothitelle, who responded by moving the platform that carried Nate and Draco back up to the window, allowing the two to jump back into the mansion to safety.
"Shit, everything just decides to happen," Nate muttered before glancing at Draco, who was keeping a good hold of him. "Jeez, you really had me going for a damn scare, y'know that you brat?"
"I-I'm sorry, Mr. Nate," Draco mumbled. "But...I wanted to help you guys...and..."
Nate sighed, before letting the kid back on the floor and rubbing his head.
"Well, you did help out a helluva lot," Nate admitted, before letting out a grin. "Without you, exposing your shitty family was made way easier than expected. You managed to get your own little payback against them."
Draco looked up to Nate, before smiling, happy that he was able to help Nate out as best as he could.
"DRACO!"
The two boys looked up and around, before spotting the man in the cloak rushing up to them.
"Father...!" Draco gasped, as Million dove in to embrace his son in a big hug.
"Draco...I'm so glad you're alright!" Million exclaimed, trying his best to hold back a sob.
"Father..." Draco mumbled, before he ended up breaking into tears instead, burying his head into his father's chest. "I missed you..."
"I missed you too..." Million replied. "I'm sorry I couldn't come back to save you sooner...but I needed help to make sure I could save you from this accursed family."
"Million came to us with the information of the Riches," Hilda decided to explain as she could hear their breach team approaching. "In exchange, we made sure we detained everyone while sparing his son, seeing as how he was merely a victim. Supposedly the Riches threatened to kill off Draco if Million tried anything himself."
"Well that explains why he didn't show up any sooner," Nate muttered as he glanced down to Draco and Million, too busy enjoying their reunion. The brunette could not help but narrow his eyes at the father-son duo, not out of petty resentment, but out of nostalgia. The sight reminded Nate of his own father. He could remember how his father would do his best to make their lives as fun and happy as possible, while being always there to cheer them up whenever something bad happened that left them in tears. The last he had ever seen of his own father while he was still alive was him desperately trying to save Nate from his own demise. Nate could only feel somber, as he knew that whatever warm sentiments Draco and Million were experiencing with their reunion were sentiments that were lost to Nate for as long as he lived.
To the opposite of Draco and Million, now-former-mayor Zillion could only stare in shock at everything that was unfolding as his men rushed over to help him up. The man could not believe that his whole empire, his fortune, his fame, his power, was all being destroyed one by one, and rather effortlessly by a combination of factors that were well beyond his control. All in one fell swoop. The man knew that he had lost. There was nothing he could do to regain the power he had once had just minutes ago. The family's dark secrets that had been piling up had all been revealed, his town that once beloved him wanted nothing more than justice to be brought down upon him and he and his family were set to be arrested for Arceus knows how long. There was absolutely nothing Zillion or his family could do to reverse the situation.
They have lost. Utterly and completely.
Zillion understood that. And he could feel nothing but uncontrollable rage about that. He cursed the International Police who invaded his home. He cursed the wenches that Miles failed to rape. He cursed that lime-haired brat that dared defied them and broke the rat out. He cursed the rat, who had gotten the best of him three years ago. He cursed Hilbert Warren, who singlehandedly demolished the stronghold of his family. He even cursed Miles, who revealed himself to be too incompetent to do anything right, even overpowering and raping two pathetically weak and frail girls. He cursed his family, including his granddaughter, daughter-in-law and wife, whom were all too weak to stop the Interpol.
But no. The two whom Zillion cursed the most was his own damned son and grandson. He cursed Million for being the one to expose them to the Interpol in the first place, along with the countless times Million had defied and went against them all those years back. He cursed Draco for going against them when Zillion showed him hospitality for so long, even though he could have easily sold the brat off to potential buyers. He cursed his damned offspring for being his downfall.
Zillion may not be able to do anything to save himself, but he would be damned if he just let those two off scot free.
Whether it was out of blind rage, or simply to do his best to drag his son and grandson down to despair, Zillion let out a bloodcurdling scream, before invading one of his men's coats, taking out their gun, and aiming it at Draco and Million.
"SHIT!" Hilbert swore as he bolted to stop the man.
"YOU DAMN BASTARDS!" Zillion screeched.
But Hilbert was too slow. Zillion cried out for blood as he aimed the gun at Draco. Million instantly hid Draco behind him to shield himself from his enraged grandfather.
*BANG*
Zillion had pulled the trigger and unleashed a lethal bullet at his grandson. He did not care which one it hit really, so long as one of them felt his wrath and vengeance.
...Except that the bullet did not strike either of them.
"...Huh...?" Million murmured.
Million and Draco looked to the side, seeing Hilbert wearing a shocked expression that matched everyone else's with all color drained from it. They turned around, where their expressions matched Hilbert's.
"GAH...Ah...Agha..."
To their surprise, Nate had managed to get between Million and Zillion in time. Zillion's lethal bullet of rage found itself embedded in Nate's stomach, leaving a noticeable bullet hole in it, as blood began to dampen the jumpsuit that covered that area. Nate's eyes were as wide as saucers as he coughed up blood.
"BLAGH!?...Keh...Hehe..." Nate managed to say, getting Draco and Million's attention. Nate managed to look back to them as blood leaked from his mouth. "Kid...whatever you do...don't become assholes...like...your...shitty...famil...y..."
The boy could not say anymore before puking out blood as he fell to his knees, allowing the blood from his stomach to leak out further. Everyone looked at Nate in shock and horror as the boy wheezed and struggled for air. The only thing that pierced the stunning silence was Yancy's cry.
"NAAAAATE!"
To be continued
AN: AAAAND that wraps up part 2. Originally I was planning to split this chapter into two more parts, with this one originally ending at Schwartzer revealing himself and part 3 ending with Nate getting shot. But that sounded stupid, and also delaying it even further was not okay, so I just mushed them together and BAM! Part 2. It only took longer because I wanted to add and refine a few things. Yes Nate getting shot was going to happen regardless of what edits I did.
And I have an inkling you all know which scene I mentioned that I felt uncomfortable with writing. Well for one, I felt it was in character for a piece of shit like Miles considering he has all the cards in his hands, so he can do whatever he pleases. And it also adds to highlight just what a corrupted cesspool the Riches were. Thankfully Weiss saved the day for them. If this particular scene disturbed and/or offended you, once again I apologize for having to make you sit through that. Also thank you Weiss for saving the day and beating the crap out of Miles.
So lot's of things happened, and a lot of things were revealed. One, the Riches outside of Draco and Million were all pieces of shit that were guilty of some kind of crime. Two, Zillion was allied with Team Plasma by giving them funds and selling them poached Pokemon. Three, Luca was in fact a Pokemon Zillion had poached with the intent of selling her to Team Plasma most likely due to how obscenely rare she is for being a shiny. Four, Iris is the champion of Unova. And five, Schwartzer and Weiss are in fact Hilbert and Hilda from Color of Your Soul.
Finally I get to reveal their identities after hyping it up for so long! Although judging from the reviews, a good portion of you were able to accurately deduce their identities based on several hints I scattered across the story upon their debut, so it may not have been as much as a surprise for you clever sleuths. But huzzah! The big reveal happened!
Now where was I?
Nate got shot.
...Shit.
And team rosters, because technically Nate got a new pokemon:
Nate: Rampardos [borrowed from Curtis]
Rosa: Eve (Eevee) / Ottavia (Dewott) / Nina (Arcanine) / Mandi (Mandibuzz) / Gustav (Amoonguss)
Hugh: Flygon / Servine / Magmortar / Carracosta / Heracross / Tornadus-Therian
Yancy: Audi (Audino) / Teddi (Ursaring) / Snor (Snorlax) / Toge (Togekiss)
Hopefully you all enjoyed this chapter. I'll see you next time.
