CHAPTER 16
On the same day
I decide to go to school today since the cold has greatly reduced after taking that ridiculous cure from Sesshomaru.
"I heard you got food poison this time. Just how unlucky can you be, Shiomi-chan?"
Hana shakes her head in defeat while we are on our way to the classroom.
"But seriously, staying home for almost a week? What did you eat? Rotten food?"
Kasumi raises her eyebrow. Somewhat is surprised how serious the situation was.
"Uhm.. I don't know…Maybe? You know that I'm pretty careless sometimes..."
Avoiding her suspicious gaze, I try to play along. Hoping that she will stop asking or else they won't stop digging more into it and not leaving me in peace for the rest of the day.
"Sogo-san!"
Suddenly we hear a familiar voice from behind and turn around, seeing Tatsuya is approaching us.
"Tatsuya-kun," I respond to his call and instantly earn a strange look from both of the girls. "Tatsuya-kun?"
Confused, Kasumi whispers to Hana. "Hey, since when they're so close? Calling each other first name and such".
"I'm not sure, Miyamoto-kun's calling Shiomi by her last name though. What's going on between them?" Hana tilts her head in confusion.
"That's odd. They barely even talk at school before. Could it be that they've been hanging out secretly behind our backs?"
"What?! Are you serious?!"
"Jeeze, I don't know. That was just a guess."
Katsumi shrugs, being as much confused as she is. Since the Shiomi they know have always been incredibly dense in this type of thing.
Meanwhile, Shiomi and Tatsuya…
"How are you feeling, Sogo-san? Are you sure that it's okay to go to school today?"
Tatsuya shows his concern, only waiting till I nod in confirm that he finally sighs in relief.
"I see, I was so worried when hearing you got sick again."
As usual, he reminds me to be careful and starts sharing some of his advice, experiences about health issues. It's not until the school bell rings to alarm everyone to return to their classes that he stops talking and bid me goodbye.
"I will see you later then, Sogo-san"
Just as Tatsuya disappears out of my sight, both Kasumi and Hana instantly jump at me from behind that we almost fall onto the floor.
"Hey! Spit it out already! How long have you two been dating?! Huh?!"
What the heck, us dating?! Did they just pull those statement out of thin air or something?
"I think you guys misunderstood something? Tatsuya and I are only friends."
"But how? We've never seen you two talked at all"
Despite hearing my honest explanation, they are not really buying it. Well, it's not like I would expect them to when it coming from Hana and Kasumi.
"Well he paid me a visit last time when I was sick. And we became friend since then, nothing more."
I tell them about Tatsuya making his first appearance at my house while trying to get away from their grips.
And thanks to the teacher who hurries us to return to class at the hall way that they finally let me go. Somehow I doubt that it's not as simple as it sounds.
After school
While on my way back home I pass by Higurashi shrine, there I find Kagome's in the middle of walking up to the white stairs. She seems tired and her clothes are all messy, must have been been going through quite a troublesome day.
"Kagome-chan!"
Hearing my call, she instantly turns back to greet me. "Senpai!"
"You're back already?"
"Yes, I just returned this morning for school. How are you feeling now, Senpai?"
"Yup, I'm all good. Maybe I will be able to depart tomorrow."
Taking the chance that I'm still free for the day, she invites me to her house for some tea.
"Say, do you want to go to my room? Let's talk more there."
And of course, how can I refuse such an offer.
"Sure, why not. I've really wanted to visit you again but haven't got any chance to"
At Kagome's room
"Here's your tea,"
Kagome hands me one of the teacups in her hands and takes a sit next to me on the pink bed. "Thank you."
Taking a sip from the cup, she starts asking me about my journey progress.
"So, Senpai. About your origins…Have you gained any information about it?"
I sigh and recall to all the things happened, from worse to worst. If you count blacking out from time to time and waking up without having any idea what I have done as making progress... then perhaps so.
"Well, probably a bit...but it just keeps getting more and more confusing."
Despite having spent quite some time in the other world. Searching here and there yet the only hint I have is the fox, which is right now nowhere to be seen and not even a single clue of how to find it.
"Confusing?"
Kagome tilts her head at the word and I nod. Staring into the half-emptied cup and begin mentioning about Inuyasha's words on that fateful night.
"Maybe he was right... That there's a possibility that I'm not human."
"Why do you think so?"
"You see... just some days ago, I killed an Oni all by myself."
"What?! But how?!"
"I wish I knew. But there's something I know for sure that it was not me who controlled my body."
Looking down to my feet and clenching my hands into fists, I tell her about the mysterious things that have been haunting my mind.
"Are you telling me that you were possessed?"
As expected from Kagome, she grabs onto the situation right away unlike I do.
"Hmm...I guess you can say that since I seriously doubt that insane power was even mine."
Well whatever or whoever that fox is, at least it's good to know that we're in a friendly term. Still, how or where the heck did it even get such ridiculous abilities anyway? Just what exactly is that thing?
"Jeeze, I've never once imagine myself one day be able to fly. Talking about killing a huge youkai, that's just crazy in so many levels."
Then I start describing my ridiculous experiences, still cannot believe what having been through.
Kagome nods, "Hmm.. Strange indeed. But that mysterious thing you've mentioned of, why didn't you find it and ask for what happened?"
"Oh trust me, I tried many times already. It's just not that easy."
"Why? You don't know where he/she is?"
For an archer in training, Kagome sure is good at hitting the mark.
"Pretty much, and god knows how long I will be able figure out all these things, years perhaps? But don't worry Because I won't give up on it that easily!"
And I say this not to only cheer myself up. But also because I know the answer is lying right there, in front of me and all I have to do is to find a way to get it.
"Yeah! That's the spirit, Senpai!"
Encouraged by my positiveness, Kagome smiles as well.
"Thanks Kagome-chan."
Just then starting to feel a bit full, I excuse myself to find a toilet and opens to the door to step outside.
If only I can help senpai… Sadly I'm pretty much more or less clueless as her in this matter.
When Shiomi's out of sight, Kagome sighs and begins to clean the cups. Then seconds later, a gust of wind blows directly into the room and immediately startled her.
"W-what?!"
Curious about the odd wind, she shifts her head toward to the window to see the cause. Shocked to find Sesshomaru's floating just outside.
"Sesshomaru?! What are you doing here?"
However, Sesshomaru doesn't answer and takes a quick scan inside before tossing something to her.
"Give it to her."
He demands as Kagome catches the object with her hands. It's an old fashioned looking bottle which seems to be belong to the era behind the well.
"Huh?! To her? Does you mean to Senpai?"
She takes a look inside and notices that it contains some kind of potion. Cannot believe that Sesshomaru has actually gone all the way here just to bring her medicine.
"Wait, Senpai is almost back. Do you want to-"
Therefore she asks him to wait a bit for Shiomi to return so he can give it directly to her instead. However before she can finish her sentence, Sesshomaru's already vanished into thin air. Eh? He's gone!
Jeeze, why is he always in such a hurry?
Soon Kagome hears Shiomi's voice along with the sound of opened door.
"I'm back."
Seeing Kagome standing by the window with a confused look on her face, I ask.
"What are you looking at, Kagome?"
Then she approaches and offers me the bottle. "Oh, Sesshomaru was just here and he brought you this."
Not this thing again?!
The moment seeing that terrifying object again, I back away. At this point my taste issue won't be even matter, no, more like my opinion doesn't even matter anymore. If Sesshomaru knows that I don't accept this, he will straight out murder me. "T-Thank you…Kagome-chan."
Seeing my desperated face, she comments. "I think he cares about you, Senpai."
"You think so?"
Somehow after hearing what she said, there's a warmth and sweet feeling inside my chest that I can't help but smiling subconsciously. Of course, my weird expression has earn myself a suspicious look from Kagome.
"Hmm… Just how close are you two now?"
She leans closer to me and getting all curious, making me flutter. "Wha?! What do you mean how close?! W-We're only friends!"
"B-By the way, where's Inuyasha? How come you're alone?"
Quickly I evade the dangerous topic by asking for her boyfriend whereabouts. And her attitude completely changes once she hears his name.
"Inuyasha? Hmph! Who cares where or what that jerk is doing right now!"
Surprisingly this is the first time she's acting like that whenever we talks about him, minus the times when he pisses her off too much. I wonder if this is the real reason she come home today?
"That jerk? What's wrong? Did you two have a fight?"
Seems like hitting the mark, she nods.
"So, what happened?"
Just as I finish asking, the girl unleashes her anger into one of the the pillows lying near by.
"That stupid jerk! He's always accusing me of two-timing with Kouga or doing something that I'm not!"
Always? Does that mean they have fought many times before? Is that guy really that insecure?
"…Meanwhile him and Kikyou are…Ah! What am I saying! please never mind that, you probably don't know who Kikyou is."
Kikyou? Isn't that the miko who saved me and Rin from before?
Recalling to the mysterious woman at the mountain back then, I ask Kagome to learn some more information about her. Thinking that it may help me for the future situations.
"Say... Is there any chance that this Kikyou person look a lot like you?"
In instant her eyes widened. "What?! You mean you've met her?!"
Therefore I tell her about our encounter back at the Hakurei mountain. How she also uses a bow and arrows just like Kagome. They resemble each other so much as if they're actually related.
"Well…How do I say this…It's because…Kikyou is actually my past self, that's why it's normal for us to bear the same features, even the purification power…"
Kagome scratches the back of her head, getting a little bit awkward to explain.
What the heck did she just say? Reincarnation?! Those two?!
"Eh? Is that even possible?"
"Uh huh, I know that this is hard to believe but it's the truth."
"And just a while ago you said him and Kikyou were…Uhm, Could it be that…"
"Yes, Inuyasha and Kikyou used to be lovers before they're tricked by Naraku and killed each other 50 years ago."
Inuyasha killed Kikyou because of Naraku? Oh man, just how many more shocking news am I going to hear today.
"What? You mean Kikyou is already dead?! But how? I swear I saw her still being alive, even saving me from Bankotsu!"
And this time it's Kagome's turn to be surprised, "She really did?"
Seeing me nod in response, she finally explains the reason that Kikyou's able to move around the earth is because she's resurrected from grave soil, plus a part of Kagome's soul by a youkai. And these things happened not so long after she discovered the world below Bone-Eaters well.
Being revived from soil and soul huh, sounds like coming straight out of a fantasy book alright...
"And now that Kikyou has come back to life, Inuyasha becomes unsure about his feeling."
The atmosphere suddenly turns heavier.
Wait a minute…Wouldn't that make Inuyasha's two-timing with both her and her past life?! What the heck, What kind of drama is this?!
"So in the end, you two fought because of jealousy? Y-You know… Kikyou and Kouga…?"
Slowly getting into the point of this complicated relationship, I take a small guess and immediately receive a strong response from her.
"I-I'm not jealous of her!"
Kagome shouts, her face looks like she's about erupt from all the anger. Although saying that in much confident yet her expression is pretty much stating the otherwise. Yup, she's definitely jealous.
"Then...Are you perhaps, waiting for him to apologize?"
Figure that Kagome is not the type to back down so easily, I comment and she nods.
"And how long does it usually take?"
Therefore she replies, somewhat looking a bit unsure. "Uhm…I don't know…Around some days or even a week?"
A week? It takes him that long?! Just how prideful can this dude be.
At this point not being able to give any more useful advice due to my lack of knowledge in this matter, I can only pat the girl's shoulder to cheer her up.
"But everything will turn out to be okay in the end, right? So don't worry too much."
Gaining some courage after hearing that, the girl finally faces me and smiles. "Thank you, Senpai."
The next morning
Somewhere in the forest.
"Hmm…Seems like there's nothing edible here."
After searching around the bushes and branches for a while yet can't find a single thing to eat, I groan for wasting so much time and still end up carrying a hungry stomach.
"How about we go to the river? Maybe we can catch some fishes there!"
Rin then suggest us to go for the river instead.
"Good idea, Rin. It's already been a while since we've eaten those."
And I can't agree more, since that place has always been having a better chance to find food.
"What? We have to move again?! How troublesome!"
As usual, Jaken acts like he's suffering the most.
"Come on, don't be so like that, Jaken-san. Don't worry, I will definitely share you some when we're done."
Tired of his nagging, I tug his sleeves and drag him along.
"Who say that I want to eat fish?!"
Hearing him yelling, both Rin and I laugh as we head toward to the river together.
Unfortunately our happy moment doesn't last very long until a strong gust of wind blows directly toward us and reveals to be Kagura, flying beside her are some weird looking giant snakes.
There, Kagura greets us with a smirk. "Yo."
"Yo yourself!" Jaken *greets* back.
Getting a bad feeling about her mysterious appearance, Rin hides behind me.
"Why are you here?!"
Therefore I ask what she wants from us. While thinking of a way to escape.
"Looks like Sesshomaru is not here with you either..."
However Kagura ignores my question and glances around before spreading her fan wide open. And that action of hers has never been a good sign to us. "Hmph! Luck is definitely on my side today!"
"W-What?! Are you planning to kidnap Rin again?!"
In instant Jaken steps in front to cover both me and Rin. Pointing his staff at her and ready to fire. Though it's not like his tiny warning has ever affect this woman, not even for once.
"Actually... No." Kagura smirks then points her fan at my face. "This time I want her."
"Me? Why would you want me?"
Cannot believe in my own two ears, I point to myself to make sure that she's not mistaking. If it is Rin that they want to abduct in order to pressure Sesshomaru then I can understand, but why me?
"Don't know, the person who wants you is Naraku. Now, be a good girl and follow us quietly or I will kill these two."
Kagura simply shrugs, chuckling at her own cheesy words.
"W-Wha?! Are you threatening us?!"
Jaken starts panicking.
"Pretty much. Now hurry up and decide, I don't have much time to play with you."
Kagura rolls her eyes at our hesitation when one minute has not yet passed.
Last time we couldn't even fight against her alone. And today she just has to bring a bunch of youkai with her to confront us. Just how the heck are we going to win?
The only option left for us is to run and find Sesshomaru, who is not too far away from here.
I wonder why Naraku's ordered me to bring these things along just to capture one human girl. It's not like these weaklings can do any harm.
Kagura recalls to that man's mysterious order, forcing her to bring these minions along when their opponent is nothing but a single, harmless human.
"It is for a little test."
Naraku said. Just what exactly is that guy planning? But no matter cause I will find out soon enough.
Still receiving no answer even after a long flash back, Kagura urges.
"So? Are you going to stand there all day?"
With no other choice, I whisper to both Rin and Jaken to plan our quick escape.
"I say we run, how does that sound?"
"Will we be able to get away, onee-chan?"
Rin doesn't seem to be certain about that idea and Jaken groans.
"Of course we have to! Do you want to get killed?!"
Taking the chance that Kagura isn't paying attention, I slowly push them back behind me. And the moment I shout "Go!" we immediately set off with full speed, not looking back.
"So you want to do it the hard way, Huh? Suit yourself then."
Taking that as the answer, Kagura chuckles at their hopeless effort and orders the youkai to follow the three.
"Seize them!"
Seconds later and those snakes are catching up to where we already are. Changing tactic, I stop running and turn around. Hoping to be able to distract them so that Rin and Jaken can reach to Sesshomaru's for aid.
Even if he can't make it here in time, at least I still can be at ease knowing that Rin and Jaken are safe.
"Onee-chan! Idiot! What are you doing?!"
Witnessing again one of my crazy actions, of course both of them would halt as well. As Rin attempts to rush over to my side, I stop her before she can move her feet.
"The one she wants is me! So hurry up and get to Sesshomaru while I buy us some time!"
Hearing so, Rin's still hesitates and Jaken has no choice but to drag her away by force.
"She's right! Come on, we're getting out of here!"
Thankfully Jaken always know in which situation to choose to listen to me, instead of fighting back every single time I open my mouth to speak.
Right after they left, a swarm of youkai lunges out of the huge trees behind and flying straight at me.
Now that I can no longer out run them, what's left to do is to avoid their attack as much as possible.
Quickly I duck and roll to the side in order to escape. Once getting back on my feet, I swing the Naginata around me in hope for slashing any of them away. Even after successfully killing some, these snakes just keep on coming and showing no sight of retreating.
A river!
Soon I catch a glimpse of water several feet away and try to approach it. Thinking that perhaps if I jump in, they won't be able to catch me within the strong current. Unfortunately, the youkai seem to have figured out my plan and fly forward to cover the path up ahead, preventing me from going there.
How the hell are these things so smart?!
As one of the youkai swings its sharp tail at me, I hold up the Naginata to block. But to no avail as its tail easily break the weapon in half and strike me right in the chest.
"Ah..!"
Due to the sharp pain, I collapse onto the ground and unable to move. The deep wound starts bleeding in an uncontrollable speed and my vision darkened. Sesshomaru...!
Meanwhile Rin and Jaken..
"Are we almost there yet? Jaken-sama?!"
For nth times Rin asks him, after going through the thick forest for a while yet still not reaching their destination. And Jaken doesn't understand why either, since he remembers they haven't wandered that far off.
"I-I'm not sure! But I think we are!"
Just as the two finally get out of the tall bushes, a white figure appears from afar and flies over their head in such high-speed that causes them both to fall over on their back.
Instantly figure out who that person is, Rin and Jaken call out for him.
"Sesshomaru-sama!"
However he ignores their call and disappears out of sight. Without a choice, both Rin and Jaken turn around to follow him back to that same spot.
Once Sesshomaru finally reaches to where Shiomi and Kagura are, he frowns cause of the stench scent of blood and nasty scene before him.
Shiomi's standing on one leg in the middle of a pool of blood and carries the remaining upper part of the Naginata in her right hand, while her left arm is completely gone. Her shirt's torn and right leg is half-eaten.
Scattering under her foot are slaughtered body parts of snake youkai, and Kagura is no longer in sight.
Aware of his presence, Shiomi lifts her head up to find him and reveals her eyes, which are now red with slit golden pupils. Within a split of second, she dashes over and slashes Sesshomaru with her broken weapon. But missed him by an inch since he has already jumped out of her attack.
Sesshomaru then draws out his sword, standing in his defensive stance. Despite not showing any threat nor even trying to engage in a fight, she still charges at him to strike mercilessly.
Has she lost her consciousness…? Is she being controlled?
Before getting here, Sesshomaru didn't catch any strange scent, except for Kagura. And he refuses to believe that it's Shiomi's choice to stand against him. Not until everything is cleared out at least.
Perhaps this is one of Naraku doings.
While figuring a way out to return Shiomi back to normal, Sesshomaru keeps blocking her multiples attack with his sword and slowly moving backward.
"Sesshomaru-sama!"
Soon Rin and Jaken arrive to the scene. They're shocked to see Shiomi and Sesshomaru fighting against each other. Though it more likes Shiomi is the only one here who's showing her tremendous killing aura here.
"Onee-chan!"
Therefore Rin calls out for the girl, hoping that her voice will wake her up yet receives no response. She has become like that again, just like last time!
All of sudden Shiomi vanishes right before their eyes. Confused, Jaken spins around to find her.
"Eh?! She's gone!W-Where did she go?!"
"Up there!"
Rin points at the sky and Jaken looks up. He gasps in horror upon seeing Shiomi holds the Naginata upside down and about to throw it at them. Quickly, Jaken pushes Rin out of the way into one of the bushes meters off to hide.
"What are you standing there for?! Run! Run!"
Seconds later her Naginata hits the ground, where Sesshomaru is standing at, and creates a big hole on it. The aftershock so strong that it pushes both Rin and Jaken off their feet.
Still, Sesshomaru has acted faster by jumping to the air to evade the assault. Not letting him a chance to catch a breath, she charges forward and attacks him with bare hand.
And they keep going at it for a while until...
"Urg..."
Feeling pain inside her head, Shiomi instantly loses her balance and without hesitation, Sesshomaru flies to catches her into his arm. While struggling to get out of his grip, she scratches Sesshomaru's face and leaves a deep long cut on his left cheek before falling into unconsciousness.
"Sesshomaru-sama! Onee-chan!"
Once Sesshomaru lands to the ground, both Jaken and Rin quickly rush to his side.
"Sesshomaru-sama, you're hurt!"
They gasp at the sight of blood on his face, though he doesn't care about it as much as they do.
Meanwhile, Kagura…
"Damn it, that was so close. I could have been killed!"
Riding on the giant feather in the air and recalling to the incident earlier. Kagura frowns, touching her neck which is having a red human hand mark on.
"Strange, I was sure that she's dead. Just what exactly is she make of?"
*Flash back*
"Hey! Stop!"
Seeing that her minions had caught their prey yet not leaving her alone, Kagura approached to shoo them away.
"Morons! Are you trying to kill her?! Get off!"
It's only then they obeyed and released Shiomi, revealing a bloody and horribly destroyed body to Kagura.
"Cheh, I was too late. Stupid! It's your entire fault that I failed!"
Seeing her capture was now nothing but a mess, Kagura bit her lips. Getting anxious that Naraku may get her for this.
A long cut at the chest, one arm and leg are eaten, no pulse. Dead for good.
After checking the body and made sure that there was no sight of living, Kagura sighed. Figured that she should just brought Shiomi back and waited to see what Naraku would do.
Since he had only asked her to take the girl and not mentioning anything about being dead or alive. Maybe she could talk her way out without getting any punishment.
"Alright, let's go ba-"
Once settled, Kagura ordered her subordinate. However she halted once seeing Shiomi stirred and slowly stood up on her own.
"What?! But how?!"
Kagura gasped in shock when finding out Shiomi's actually being alive, and just a second ago she couldn't sense her breathing nor pulse, or a heart beat.
Standing before her, Shiomi held firmly onto her half broken Naginata and stared at Kagura intensely. At that very moment, she noticed something abnormal about her.
"Red eyes? Could it be that you are a-?!"
Before she could finish talking, Shiomi slashed her. Luckily Kagura's fast enough to jump backward and avoided her sudden attack.
"The hell?!"
Such speed with only one leg and arm? How is that even possible?!
Just as Kagura feet were about touch the grass below, Shiomi dashed forward to attack again. Quickly, she held up her fan to defend herself but still got overwhelmed by her powerful strikes.
"Fuujin no mai!"
Leaving with no choice, Kagura summoned crescent-shaped blades at Shiomi to push her back. Despite missing her entirely, it's given Kagura enough time to play her next strategy by ordering the youkai around to bring Shiomi down.
"Get her!"
Different from last time however, Shiomi swiftly destroyed the giant snakes one after another with just by one slash and soon leaving with nothing left but herself and Kagura.
How come she gets so strong all of the sudden?!
Shocked after witnessing her inhumane power, Kagura backed away in fear.
I have to get out of here!
Figured that there was no chance of winning, Kagura attempted to run off but got interrupted instantly by a flying Naginata coming from behind and missed her head just by an inch.
Turning back, Kagura saw that Shiomi had caught up to her and the next thing she knew. Her neck was in Shiomi's cold hand and she's being lifted up into the air.
Lacking of air, Kagura gasped and slowly losing all her strength.
Damn it! Am I going to be killed by a single human?!
Just as Kagura thought that she's going to die, Shiomi releaseed her and she dropped onto the floor, coughing hard. Taking the chance being free, Kagura jumped further back and snatched a feather off her hair to enlarge it, the jumped on it and manipulated the wind to carry herself away.
One last time she glanced back to the ground and saw Shiomi's just standing there, watching her flied off without doing anything. What's with her?
*End Flash back*
Why did she let me go? And what is it about her that Naraku is hiding from me?
Recalling to that critical moment when Shiomi's abvout to choke her to death. Kagura's even more furious. F*cking bastard, always treating my life like a toy! He's going to pay for this!
"Drip…Drop"
The sound of water continuously dripping wakes me up from the slumber and I find myself standing in the middle of nowhere, surrounding by an absolute darkness. Surprisingly the only light in this place is is coming from my own body. Gathering all of that hints into one place, it's easy to guess that I have gotten myself stuck inside that bizarre dream, again.
Can't stand sitting around doing nothing, I decide to take a stroll. Feeling the water splashing under my shoes for every step I make.
Wait, water? If I remember correctly, there wasn't anything here before.
Curious about the new existence of this element, I kneel and stare at my reflection on the floor. For me to be able to stand directly on water like this. Perhaps it's quite shallow.
Wanting to test it, I pull up my sleeves and dip my arm into the water below. Also just to see what will happen. However after going all the way in, I still cannot reach to the bottom. Wow, it must be really deep.
Then I withdraw my arm back, this time I dip my hands into the water and hold them up close to my face. Upon seeing the true color of this liquid, I flinch in terror. Wait, this isn't water…This is…
…Blood?
Narrowing my eyes to focus, hoping that the darkness is messing with my mind but sadly, this is real. Scared, I stand up from my spot and look around. Only to realize that the whole floor has been completely flooded with the thick red liquid ever since the beginning.
What's going on? Why is there so much blood here?!
Suddenly something raises up from the underneath, right below my feet and I back away in caution. Leaving me with no choice but to stay and watch the thing to finish its ridiculous intro.
A moment later, it stops rising once reaching to my height. As blood begins to fall off it and slowly reveals what's inside. I hear the same old voice ringing inside my head.
"What are you? Who am I? Ningen or Youkai?"
And a pair of human legs is seen…

Now is the whole body of a young girl…

Lastly, her head and face are come to visible and I immediately gasp in shock. Seeing the person standing right before me is no one but myself.
Her eyes snap open, revealing to be in ruby red color and staring straight back into mine. And that heavy, breath-taking aura of hers. It's sending a chill down my spine...
