Chapter 8: Love crap and soul-wrenching battles (part 1)
May 14th 3818 AD; 7:30 am (0730 hours)
It had been nearly one month since the birth of the Super GunVandread and the loss of Gascogne. Everything was fine except for one thing which the alarm was buzzing just as Magno was waking up in her own quarters which had her own bed, dresser, and a picture of her as a kid holding a baby with its parents behind her.
"Ugh, what is it now?" Magno asked as she woke up.
In another part of the ship or the Hanger bay, Parfet and her team were looking over the Paksis enhanced Dreads that could turn into Gundams along with the Archangel Fujin and Saber Vulcan Gundams as well.
"Wow, it's even more powered up than before and I'll bet Dita's machine can enter an atmosphere on its own now in Dread mode along with Jura and Meia's machines as well…" Parfet said.
"Makes you wonder what the Paksis will think of next along with Jura, Dita, Meia, and Hibiki being enhanced themselves like the machines here…" Julian said as she was walking up to them.
Then one of Parfet's fellow engineers spoke, "Then why the heck is the alarm sounding?"
The alarms were ringing throughout the ship as Meia emerging from her quarters asked a pair of security guards what was going on right now as she was sleeping only to be woken up by the alarms blaring.
"What is all of the fuss about now?"
One of the guards spoke, "There have been cracks discovered in the ship. Thankfully, it's non-life threatening."
On the bridge, the trouble spot was found and Belvedere reported it, "Source of trouble found; area 36. All crew in the area, please check and report on the situation."
The source of the problems was leaking pipe in the men's quarters right now which unfortunately it wasn't fixed properly due to the Second Gundam Raid which happened almost a month ago and a few repair problems had to be done on the road to Tarak and Mejere as despite that, Terrain Prime's engineers were able to figure out the rest of the Nirvana's mechanical problems.
Magno couldn't help, but remember when Ariel Stone was looking over all of the parts that were being thrown out and replaced that the stone-faced woman asked her how did the pirates get this far in a junk heap though she commended them for it.
Bringing her thoughts to the present as for the guys, this problem was hell though Paiway found it funny and spoke about it as she rowed an inflatable raft through the men's quarter.
"So much fun, there's a massive flood. Check with a camera, let's check for everything."
"What's going on here anyway?" Hibiki asked before he fell out of bed into the water.
Nearby, Bart was trying to get his pillow which was floating near him while complaining, "No, not my pillow! I need that to fall asleep!"
Bart then fell into the water and glared at Paiway as she took a Pai-check. Arthur on the other hand along with Brian were finishing taking the last of their stuff out of the men's quarters as they had woken up earlier as they typically did. After getting their stuff, they decided to help out the other guys just as Paiway rowed up to Duero who was holding a bunch of books and reading one.
"I'm keeping myself dry as possible because in the book I'm reading, it says it is dangerous for people to have their body temperature lower than normal." Duero said before he got soaked seconds later.
Paiway was laughing at it until she too got soaked as well which Brian spoke nearby, "Not as funny when misfortune happens to you kid."
Meanwhile on the other hand, Magno arrived on the bridge with the help of a motor chair due to her age and asked, "How's the problem?"
"The ship is okay, but the Men's Quarters are flooded captain." Ezra said while looking at Magno.
Pyoro over-exaggerated things while dragging baby Miranda's tiny nap bed though the baby wasn't minding at all and shouted like the hounds of Hell were after him even though it was not the case.
"No! There's a flood-pyoro! We'll drown-pyoro! Pyoro will save Pyoro 2-pyoro!"
Brian walked onto the bridge and glared at the Navi-robot just as Ezra and the little robot were done with the usual Pyoro 2/Miranda argument and spoke to him very sternly.
"Pyoro, how would like your keen robot eyes to watch my surefire foot kick your dumb, robotic smart ass."
Pyoro gulped at the marine Gundam pilot looked at him just as Magno arrived on the bridge which Brian then left while on the other hand, Buzam examined the flooded men's quarters and spoke to Magno.
"Looks like we'll not be using this area for some time."
On the other hand, the guys were in the Medical bay with all of their stuff even if a few bits of it got soaked. Hibiki sneezed a bit while Duero and Bart sat nearby while Arthur was busy studying the designs of the Helios and Selena Gundams. Misty on the other hand, arrived to see Hibiki in the Medical bay much to the annoyance of him along with Brian arriving.
"There you are! You don't have anywhere to stay right? So, want to stay in my room?" Misty asked as she stood near Hibiki.
"Oh please Misty! The lad is still in the dark of visiting female rooms and he still has to fill his promise to Dita by visiting her room. If Arthur and I end up visiting Jura or Meia's rooms, we'll tell him though he should have the final say on who's room to visit young lady as you can't force yourself into his heart you know." Brian said.
Bart on the other hand misread Misty's intentions and thought the invitation was being offered to him by trying to take the towel Misty brought and spoke to her in a hopeful voice.
"Why thanks for the offer! I really can't sleep without a pillow, so I was really concerned about not being able have a good place to bunk down in!"
"I'm not talking about you dummy!" Misty said sternly.
Brian face-palmed himself along with Arthur who was hearing the exchange nearby just as Misty offered the same towel to Hibiki and spoke to him hoping to snare him into her web.
"Come here now, come over here."
Hibiki just glared at Misty and stood up while speaking, "I've told you before not to bother me okay! I don't even need anyone pitying me over something like this. I warrior may not eat, but he can hold out!"
Brian spoke after Hibiki left, "Baka really needs to stop acting like spoiled brat or he'll get a good ass kicking for an hour."
"Indeed, and it looks like false confidence…" Duero said.
Bart after seeing Hibiki leave asked Misty yet again, "Want me to stay with you instead Misty?"
"Idiot! I wasn't talking about you nor do I want to have to do anything with you bit-headed light bulb moron." Misty said as she got up.
"Light bulb head moron?" Bart asked.
Misty then turned and left while speaking just as Parfet arrived, "Hey Hibiki, wait up boy!"
Parfet looked at Misty running and spoke, "That is one energetic girl."
"More like one big, too-young-to-fall-in-love drama queen if you ask me. Trust me, my dad had a pal who did something similar and it ended in heart break for that dude when he was in High school." Brian said nearby.
"Brian, keep your peanut gallery comments to yourself…sheesh." Arthur said from another part of the Medical bay.
After Arthur spoke up to silence Brian, Duero looked at Parfet and spoke to her, "I'm sorry about all of the trouble."
"Oh no doc, I'm the one who should apologize not you. That pipe issue will be fixed don't worry. So until then, do you want to stay at my room temporary?" Parfet asked.
"No thanks, the thought enough is okay thank you Parfet. This place on the other hand is strangely calm…" Duero replied just as a medical mannequin fell on him.
Parfet looked baffled and stuttered, "Uh….um…calming huh?"
Bart looked back and forth between Duero and Parfet before he looked down and spoke his unhappy thoughts about the whole situation as if the Gods of Olympus and Asgard were laughing at him.
"Damn, everyone except me is invited to stay in a woman's room."
Arthur then left to work out and then take a shower due to the fact that he'd studied the designs of the Gundam so long along with Brian. Hibiki on the other hand, was in the Hanger bay looking at his improved Vanguard, which could now turn into a Gundam if necessary.
"I got here as soon as I could without thinking, but I guess this is the only place for me though I admit you've sure have changed like I have…" Hibiki said while looking at his old friend.
He looked himself over and once again saw that he was now 6'4 instead of his old short height of 5'4 which he figured was due to the Paksis copying the Lighting Commando augmentations and enhancing him, Dita, Meia, and Jura while improving Bella, Brian, and Arthur. He felt better that he was now taller and no more Mr. Shorty and looked at his unit once more which had jade parts on its knees, elbows, and tiny bits across the unit.
"Man, who'd a thought that the Paksis could do this to me and others who got exposed to the Paksis. Boy, were many surprised after that battle…" Hibiki said to himself.
His train of thought was interrupted by a good-looking smell and upon looking in its direction; it was Misty from behind a wall. He wondered why she was here of all people. Recently, Arthur and Brian began to not trust her for some reason much to the surprise of the crew as well which he made a mental note to ask sometime.
"I thought I'd find you here so, I'd brought you a meal so it would warm you up…" Misty said.
Misty then presented a meal to Hibiki, which he sat down and ate it right away. Misty like Dita watched Hibiki eat the meal she made for him. Misty briefly left and returned with more meals for Hibiki to eat.
After finishing the meal, Hibiki noticed Misty looking at him and asked, "What are you staring at?"
"Oh nothing really, I was just thinking how so cute you are Hibiki…" Misty said.
"Geez you moronic woman you don't call a guy like me cute…" Hibiki said with a frown.
Misty leaned a bit too close for Hibiki's comfort and replied, "Oh come on, it's fun to say you're cute and I think I spy something on your face."
"Hey now, don't touch me!" Hibiki shouted.
"Oh come on, don't be shy Hibiki…" Misty said.
Nearby, Dita stood dejected holding a bowel of hot food as well hearing the exchange going on between her Mr. Alien and Misty.
"I'm not being shy and there is a little thing called Personal Space have you heard of it?" Hibiki asked.
"Come on Hibiki you're just so cute!" Misty shouted.
"Are you even listening to what I'm trying to say to you? Can you leave me alone for once?!"Hibiki shouted while annoyed as hell.
Just then, Arthur and Brian in their workout outfits walked by and noticed Dita with her dish being held by her. Arthur walked up and asked Dita a question to see what was going on with the normally happy-go-lucky teen who looked rather sad rather than happy.
"What's going on?"
"Oh, I just wanted to give this dish that I'm holding with my hands to Mr. Alien, but that girl Misty got to him first and I really doubt I want to give it to him." Dita said somberly.
"We'll try your little dish and you should give it to him anyway and not let that gal get in the way. Take the initiative, calculate an effective strategy to win his heart, don't be rash, understand how he works, what are his likes, what are his dislikes, and be patient Dita for you see Misty's so-called-love is one-sided because I don't see him returning any affection to her." Brian said.
Dita nodded and let the duo sample the dish after Brian managed to grab a pair of spoons which the duo thought it was good though she hesitated to deliver the dish which Arthur ended up doing for Dita much to his annoyance, but not enough to offend Dita.
Hibiki on the other hand was surprised to see Arthur appearing carrying a dish with his hands, giving him the hot dish, telling him to try it as Dita made it, and left without saying anything else.
"What's with him?" Hibiki asked to himself.
Eventually both Gundam pilots arrived at the Gymnasium to work out; Brian boxing while Arthur did weight lifting while Dita on the other hand was talking to Jura about her problem in the café of the ship.
"So I see that even after Arthur and Brian offered advice, you still hesitated and ran away anyway?" Jura asked.
Dita nodded and only muttered one thing, "But Jura I...and also I ran into Arthur and Brian."
Jura just sighed and replied, "How pitiful Dita. Really, but no offense Dita I believe you should really show him how you feel. Also, what were Arthur and Brian doing anyway?"
"Going to do some exercising why? You want to talk to them?" Dita asked.
"Nothing really!" Jura shouted while blushing heavily.
"So Dita, what were you hoping for-kero?" Paiway asked.
Dita blushed slightly and replied, "N-nothing Paiway! I just wanted to give food for Mr. Alien!"
"Oh yeah! This is something I got to check out about those two." Paiway said as she stood up with a smirk.
Just then Pyoro showed up out of nowhere and placed a metal bar on her bag stopping her which Paiway asked Pyoro what he was doing to her as the Navi-robot was being rather rude to her.
"What are you doing?"
"Source of sickness found! I shall imprison it right away-pyoro!" Pyoro shouted.
"What are you talking about? Source of sickness?" Paiway asked.
Next thing she knew was that Pyoro then moved her to a part of the Register and shut her in the room without a second thought. Paiway didn't like it and tried to convince Pyoro to let her out despite the obvious fact she sneezed once.
"Let me out Pyoro-kero!" Paiway shouted.
"No way-pyoro! We can't have you getting Pyoro 2 sick-pyoro! You're staying there for the rest of your life until you're no longer sick…pyoro…" Pyoro said sternly.
Pyoro then left while Paiway kept shouting at the Navi-robot in a pleading tone, "What? Come on Pyoro! I can't stay here and you can't do this to me!"
While Paiway was trying to figure out her situation on the other hand, several other women including Jura and Amarone were trying to see if they could watch the love triangle between Dita, Hibiki, and Misty unfolding like some cheesy, reality show.
"So, how is it Amarone?" Jura asked.
"And there I got it…" Amarone said as she was pulling up footage of Hibiki eating.
It was then that one of the girls eager to see more, accidentally pressed a few things and a second monitor pulled up which was the Gymnasium where Brian and Arthur were working out. Brian was finishing boxing while Arthur had finished weightlifting and both took a water break.
Dita sat nearby not liking what the women were doing when a shout from Jura got her attention and she saw what was freaking out the women; Arthur and Brian had stripped down to nothing, but their underwear and dog tags which they then saw the men do wrestling almost like how the Ancient Greeks and Romans did except for a few different things like clothing being one thing.
"Geez, these men are indecent! They should put on more clothes!" Amarone shouted.
"Not to mention that they're sweating like crazy!" Julian shouted seconds later.
Jura on the other hand began to have some thoughts about Arthur as she watched him wrestle with Brian with her eyes eying his crotch and ass for some reason, some very naughty thoughts that got her hormones going like crazy.
"Oh my, he's very hot and sexy...I wonder how good he is in bed?" Jura said to herself.
The women near her looked confused as upon realizing what was happening to herself including her womanhood getting a bit wet and her heart racing like crazy; she left in a hurry to talk to Magno passing Meia who looked a bit confused before continuing on like nothing happened.
"What was that all about anyway?" Dita asked in confusion.
About ten minutes later, Jura came back rather okay than when she left wearing the same outfit, but it was purple colored. Amarone asked first out of why Jura was wearing a different outfit.
"What happened to you Jura?"
Jura blushed like a cherry and spoke, "I ended up getting a bit sexually aroused from seeing Arthur like that and that it was okay though I am planning on asking him to see if he'll bunk with me if Barnette is okay with that."
"Okay…. Then…" Amarone said deadpanned.
The women resumed watching two shows though Jura focused more on the one on Hibiki and Misty than the one with Arthur and Brian whom the latter group then left the Gymnasium. The women resumed watching the action going on between Hibiki and Misty.
"He sure looks happy from what I'm seeing here…" Jura said.
Dita nearby didn't like what she was hearing and spoke about her displeasure, "Come on ladies, let's not watch or look."
"Are you joking Dita? This is more fun and besides, Misty seems to have an extensive knowledge of about men and women relationships. Also, I want to see what kind of stuff they talk about." Jura said.
"But Jura, what about Mr. Angel Alien, Mr. Dragon Alien, and Miss Bella? They know that stuff as well and you're pretty close with Mr. Angel Alien Jura…" Dita said.
"Oh don't worry about it Dita." Jura said calmly.
It was then that something caught the blonde pilot's attention; Misty touching Hibiki's right hand, which she spoke up very quickly that the crew near hear heard her outburst.
"Oh look Misty just touched Hibiki's hand."
This got several of the women excited like a big news story much to Dita's chagrin. One of the women spoke in a stunned tone at Hibiki's appetite as they watched on eager to see what would happen next.
"What is up with this guy? He's like an animal or an endless black hole!"
"But there seems to be a good atmosphere!" Amarone shouted.
Unknown to Hibiki and Misty, a camera was watching their every move while Arthur and Brian after their wrestling match were walking down to the Jacuzzi to use its showers as they didn't want to risk further flooding the men's quarters and with Magno's permission.
"Whoa now, this stuff is so good! What do you call this?" Hibiki asked as he was eating yet another dish.
"It's Paella. They say according to legend that Paella tastes as good as the love between couples." Misty said.
Hibiki only muttered what as he continued to eat the dish completely oblivious to what Misty was talking about as she spoke again hoping he was taking her cooking in a romantic way.
"It's a special dish that you make for your boyfriend or girlfriend."
Hibiki not paying attention to what Misty was saying fully spoke again, "I don't know what that was, but it sure was good. May I have some more?"
"Sheesh Hibiki, you're such a glutton you know that!" Misty shouted.
Back in the café, Jura looked confused and spoke, "She said boyfriend."
Both Amarone and Jura looked at each other and spoke, "What the heck does boyfriend supposed to mean?"
Just then while Dita sat nearby distraught at the current situation, Arthur and Brian walked by, peered in, and left shaking their heads at the stupid and waste of time thing the crew was doing because as far as they were concerned, that stunt that some of the crew were doing would've been prohibited as it unless it was for security reasons, it was considered a violation of privacy.
They men knew that the crew watching along with Misty and Hibiki would get a very stern talk after they were done with their showers and lunches. In the Hanger bay on the other hand, Hibiki just kept eating like crazy.
"That fescadore was great as well, but this dish is the best." Hibiki said.
"I know, that's why I want you to try the Pandori chicken I made you as well!" Misty shouted.
While Hibiki was eating so fast he could win an eating contest, Bart on the other hand wandering the ship wasn't have the greatest luck and made it known vocally.
"Man, those guys have got it great…. There is nothing I can do about Hibiki or the others including Arthur, but who would've thought that Duero was getting the attention of the women as well?"
He sneezed a bit as Belvedere and Celtic the latter wearing a red and white maid outfit walked by and Belvedere spoke to the navigator of the Nirvana in a way that wasn't pleasant.
"What is that?"
"It's so creepy," Celtic said quietly.
"Creepy? Me? WTF?" Bart asked himself.
Just then up ahead, the elevator opened and Buzam stepped out which gave Bart an idea of hoping he wouldn't be bunking alone. Buzam just looked at Bart and asked in a very bored tone.
"What are you doing?"
"Sub-commander, I've been wandering around and I have no place to go. So, could I possibly stay in your room until the repairs are done?" Bart asked with hope.
"I'm sorry Bart, you can't though you could ask Magno on other accommodations better yet, why don't you stay in the Navigational Well?" Buzam asked coldly.
Bart didn't like the answer and spoke to her as she left, "What, What? You're being really cold sub-commander!"
Bart collapsed on the floor hallway unhappy while back in the café, some of the crew continued to watch Misty give Hibiki food and now were watching her feed him. Once more, Arthur and Brian walked in after their showers to get an early lunch and noticed them watching the dumb show of Misty hanging with Hibiki.
"Oh my goodness, she fed that dish to him with a spoon! She fed him!" Amy said while standing near Amarone.
"That girl, she's not a normal girl by all means." Jura said.
Amarone nodded before speaking, "She came from a planet where men and women live together! Even 150 Mejere females combined together can't compete against her."
It was then while leaving with a lunch meal that Arthur spoke up, "Don't you ladies have something better to do that to watch that crap? I mean, you're supposed to help Dita, not be apathetic about it. Besides, if Misty upsets Dita and none of you blockheads will do something, then Brian and I will. Also, didn't you see that men and women can get along already? Also, Brian and I both come from a planet where men and women live together as well so, we both have an equal footing on that stuff to boot."
The women turned at looked at Arthur and Brian both clad in combat uniforms while holding their respective meals; Arthur's was a fillet mignon extra spicy, baked potato, iced black tea, and a small sugar cookie.
Brian's on the other hand was a BLT sandwich, steak fries, diet cola, and a peanut butter cookie. As soon as Jura looked at Arthur, she turned a deep shade of red and looked away which confused Arthur a bit before he left along with Brian, but not before giving a reassuring look at Dita to cheer her up.
"What the heck was that all about Arthur?" Brian asked in confusion.
"Don't really know if you ask me." Arthur said.
Eventually Dita left the café passing by Meia as she left which she then passed by Arthur and Brian looking upset which annoyed the two about the apparent hypocrisy that the women were doing to Dita when they came in to get their meals.
"I'll go talk to Dita when I'm done with my meal and studying the designs of the two stolen Gundams." Arthur said.
"I'll get Misty and besides, haven't we studied those designs to death?" Brian asked.
Arthur rolled his eyes as both went to the Medical bay to eat their food privately which Duero wouldn't mind while Hibiki on the other hand was scrapping the last bits of food Misty provided him If either Misty or Hibiki knew better, this massive feast to one person would've been frowned upon any military or self-defense vessel as it was seen as a waste of food.
"Hey Hibiki, if you come to my room, I can give you a much better tasting dish and an even sweeter desert!" Misty shouted.
"Really? Please do tell." Hibiki said.
The duo left the Hanger bay which not far away, Dita kept pacing back and forth in a another part of the ship very anxious and a bit angst inside of her. Eventually she summoned enough courage and was going to talk to Hibiki when she turned the corner and to her surprise, Hibiki and Misty were standing nearby.
"Hibiki and I are on my way to my room, I thought we'd spend some nice time together." Misty said both arrogantly and lovingly.
Dita said nothing as Misty spoke again a bit more arrogantly this time, "Let's go Hibiki."
"Um right…" Hibiki said quietly.
Dita just stood where she was as a pair of crew members filmed the whole scene while everyone in the café just watched the next move the three would make that had everyone wondering what would happen next.
"What will Dita do?" Zoe asked while near Jura.
On the other hand, Arthur after eating his lunch was studying the design of the Helios and Selena Gundams for the unprecedented time so much he could've visualize the units in his sleep, Arthur looked over his arms and shook his head silently. Brian on the other hand was helping Parfet repairing the pipes in the men's quarters which the engineer appreciated greatly.
This was the last gift that his mentor Instructor Professor JJ and his fellow colleges had given him and fellow Gundam pilots including Brian before their deaths. The data for the Lighting Commando Program was still available including the procedure, but the program was put on indefinite hold for how long was anyone's answer.
Walking out of the far end of the Medical bay where he was studying the design of the Helios and Selena Gundams, he saw Duero and Bart with their stuff along with Brian's things as well along with his other stuff including Hibiki's things.
"Doc, how will it be before the pipes are fixed? Better yet ask Parfet whom I happen to see you are developing feelings for?" Arthur asked.
"Sorry can't hear you, busy working and I don't know myself. You can ask Parfet yourself and as for my supposed feelings for Parfat, I don't know that myself." Duero said in his usual tone.
Arthur then left passing a pair of crew members with a camera for some reason which he ignored when as he was walking, he heard talking which after running and carefully hiding not to expose himself, he found a Dita offering a toy to Hibiki only for Misty to slap it out of her hands and it left Dita devastated as she held the now broken alien toy.
Arthur then saw that it was Misty who did it which he got enraged that Misty was acting like a complete and selfish bitch in his opinion with Hibiki just standing nearby doing nothing. Deciding he had enough of Misty's bitch-ass antics along with the apparent apathy of the crew not helping Dita properly, he decided it was time that he took action and spoke up to while walking up to three.
Meanwhile, before anyone knew what happened next watching the three and before Misty could grab Hibiki and walk away to leave a devastated Dita, a voice boomed that everyone could recognize which was none other than Arthur Hanson looking pissed off as he appeared seconds later.
"What the Hell is going on?! Misty, are you being an arrogant bully to Dita? Then you, Dita, and Hibiki in Hanger bay now!" Arthur shouted.
"But-"
Misty tried to speak, but was cut off as she found herself staring into the eyes of one very unhappy and angry Arthur who was not happy with her antics right now making her wonder what she had done to earn his ire.
"I said now! No excuses!" Arthur shouted very sternly.
Everyone watching now wanted to know what punishment Arthur would dish out on Misty, but also Dita though they had a good idea to who was going to get grilled so much that a the same pair of crew members followed the trio to film the next set of events carefully.
Meanwhile, in the Hanger bay, Dita, Misty, and Hibiki sat on three containers being used as chairs while Arthur just paced back and forth before he stopped, his gaze glaring at Misty who felt tiny as the leader of the Starfires looked at her. He'd made sure she sat away from Hibiki along with Dita so they could listen better.
Arthur sighed and spoke, "I can't fucking believe that is what you were doing to Ms. Dita ya damn rat by making her feel bad okay. Do you think you honestly believe that you could just waltz in, mooch your way into Dita and Hibiki's developing relationship, and get away with being an arrogant and selfish bitch? Huh? Are purposely trying to upset us? What the fucking hell is wrong with you Misty!?"
"Sir, I don't know what to do and why the hell did you drag me here with these two?" Hibiki asked.
Dita nodded and spoke, "I agree with Mr. Alien, why drag Mr. Alien and Misty here along with me Mr. Angel Alien?"
"That is another matter entirely okay as for you Dita, the feelings you were recently feeling I'm guessing were jealously, anxiety, and fear which I can understand because you're in unfamiliar territory along with Hibiki and if you want to talk about male-female relationships, you can talk to Brian and I because both of us are each in one. You still have much to learn including not making impulsive actions like now." Arthur said calmly.
He then turned and spoke to Misty, "Misty, I don't give a damn or even care that you have a good insider thing about men and women being together as Brian and I know about it ourselves chiefly due to the fact that we come from a male-female world like your old home was like one that is fighting for its right to live. What concerns me right now is that the huge and obvious clue you should've known the minute you stepped on this ship is that Dita is considered a family member here and your recent actions towards Dita could affect the ship's survival. Do you have any idea how serious our war is against the Harvesters? They will kill us and they don't give a damn about trivial matters like this, so I suggest you straighten up or get your act together before your actions could impact our ability to survive starting with morality. Not to mention, we still have to deal with the stolen Helios and Selena Gundams now being used against Terrain Prime and its allies along with Tarak."
"Mr. Angel I mean, Arthur what do you mean by that you and Brian are each in a relationship? Does that explain why earlier when you and Mr. Dragon, I mean Brian was getting your lunches that Jura blushed very heavily when she saw you along with her sudden change in her wardrobe?" Dita asked.
"Yes, please do tell and I'll be honest, the real reason I hung out with Hibiki is because I was bored and don't tell me that I can't act tough at times…" Misty said.
Instead of getting irate, Arthur instead sighed and spoke, "I got only thing to say Misty about your behavior towards Dita: get your head out of your ass. Besides, you're fourteen in my opinion still too young to fall in love like in that Mötley Crüe song. I can understand that you're alone and the only possible survivor of the destruction of Pluto which I know isn't an easy thing to live with as there were a few from Delta 6 who are in a similar situation like you."
Misty felt better a little before as Arthur sat down one a spare container and sighed a bit as he looked down on the floor trying to think of what to say next before he looked up and looked at the trio before him before seconds later, he spoke to Misty once more.
"However with that said, what I don't like is you just hanging with Hibiki in order to upset Dita and your latest actions including that stunt I saw with that toy just now prove that. What you could've done was helped Dita like giving her pointers and what not as she really could use it right now as Bella isn't here to help her, but instead here you are trying to muscle your way into their relationship with a selfish bitch-like attitude. Don't try to act tough because it can end up getting you into a fight and your ass kicked because those who only have just the bark and no bite won't last long. Dita is out on the battlefront; you on the other hand are in the ship away from the lines. I honestly think that Hibiki doesn't really love you; he only hangs out with you because you can cook as well as several crew members including Dita here. I swear the next time you upset Dita Misty, I'll make you clean every single toilet on this ship with a toothbrush."
"I guess that's true sir, but what I'm I supposed to do here, can you help me?" Hibiki asked in confusion.
Arthur sighed and then spoke, "To be honest, that is your path and yours alone to take. With that being said, the key to being in a good relationship regardless if you're straight or are on the LGBTQ spectrum as I've seen relationships of both types before, is understanding and communication. For me, relationships like Jura are a way for me to have something worth fighting for and a reason to be human."
"Weren't you supposed to go back with your ship the TPSDNS Solaris along with Brian?" Misty asked.
"I was, but Magno told of how the Gundreads were invaluable for this ship and having no leader for the Vanguards wouldn't have been wise so, at least two or one of us needed to stay and also, I don't always serve on the Solaris as I've been on the TPSDNS Lunar at one point as we need the Gundam pilots and their squads to rotate to suit the battle plan at hand." Arthur said.
While one problem was being hopefully resolved, in deep space, trouble was brewing around the corner and it wasn't from the Harvesters…but from Mejere...
