"What kind of monster is that?" Akiza asked in terror as the dragon looked down at her.

"This is my most powerful creature, and the one that I will use to end your life." the Immortal Cosmic Dragon said coldly. "Attack Akiza's dragon, Soul Siphon Stream!"

The moment the Immortal Cosmic Dragon called that his monster launched a black wave of energy at Akiza's Underworld Rose Dragon causing it to cry out in pain as Akiza suddenly collapsed as a white glow flew from her body into the Original Immortal Apocalypse Dragon.

"What just happened?" Akiza asked weakly.

"With every attack your life points are cut in half, and your soul is drawn into my dragon. It won't be long before you perish." the Immortal Cosmic Dragon said. "Now, face his second attack this turn, Soul Siphon Stream!"

The dragon immediately fired a second black wave of energy causing Akiza and the Underworld Rose Dragon to collapse to the ground in agony.

"My body feels like it's on fire." Akiza said weakly.

"This is simply the beginning, the Original Immortal Apocalypse Dragon cannot be destroyed by battle or card effect, and I take no damage when he battles either." the Immortal Cosmic Dragon said. "It's only a matter of time and then you will perish and your soul will serve as the final sustenance for the end of all life in this universe."

Akiza weakly struggled back to her feet. "I haven't lost yet."

"Very well, if you insist on fighting then fine. I'll end my turn." the Immortal Cosmic Dragon said simply.

Akiza: 600 Immortal Cosmic Dragon 2800: "It's my turn, so I'll start by setting two cards facedown, and then I…" Akiza said only to fall to one knee as her vision began to blur. "I summon Blue Rose Dragon in attack mode."

"You're only delaying what is unavoidable Akiza, you will die soon enough." the Immortal Cosmic Dragon said calmly.

"That's where you're wrong, I can activate Underworld Rose Dragon's ability to destroy my own Blue Rose Dragon and call a monster from the graveyard." Akiza said quickly as a black aura enveloped her weaker dragon and it shattered.

"Summon whatever you want, no monster you have is strong enough to defeat me in this duel." the Immortal Cosmic Dragon said coldly.

"I disagree, because I revive your counterpart. The Immortal Cosmic Dragon to my field and since Blue Rose Dragon was destroyed I can bring Black Rose Dragon back to my field." Akiza said as her mark began glowing intensely.

"What's the point of all of this, it won't change the outcome of our duel in the slightest." the Immortal Cosmic Dragon said as the two monsters appeared on Akiza's field. "Summon any monster you want; it won't do anything but delay your death."

"You're wrong, because despite everything that's still Yusei's deck which means I can use Immortal Cosmic Dragon's special ability to summon Stardust Dragon to my side of the field!" Akiza said confidently as Yusei's dragon appeared next to her. "Now, I activate the spell card Polymerization!"

"Polymerization, so that's your plan." the Immortal Cosmic Dragon said calmly. "Fusing Stardust Dragon with Black Rose Dragon in an attempt to overpower me."

"Wrong, I fuse Stardust Dragon, Black Rose Dragon, and Underworld Rose Dragon together." Akiza said as the three dragons merged together. "Dragon of the cosmos merge with the lone rose and the pitch-dark flower and bring about a new source of life! Spread your healing wings and call forth a new dawn! Fusion Summon! Rise, Serene Rose Dragon!"

As Akiza said that a massive golden dragon appeared behind her resembling the Stardust Dragon with roses of all different colors covering its body.

"What in the world, what kind of creature is that?" the Immortal Cosmic Dragon asked in shock. "I've never seen anything like this before!"

"This is my last chance to try and defeat you." Akiza said before closing her eyes. "Serene Rose Dragon's special ability activates, once per duel I can sacrifice another dragon type monster on my field and in exchange you take damage equal to the total attack points of all fusion materials used to summon it."

"Wait, you fused together your three dragons which means the damage is…" the Immortal Cosmic Dragon said fearfully unable to finish the thought.

"It means the damage is 8500, more than enough to finish you off." Akiza said. "I sacrifice Immortal Cosmic Dragon in order to activate Serene Rose Dragon's special ability."

As Akiza said that the Immortal Cosmic Dragon on her field became enveloped in roses before exploding as the Serene Rose Dragon began glowing only for a massive orb of golden light to envelop the two of them.

"Akiza, can you hear me?" asked a voice as Akiza slowly opened her eyes to see Yusei standing in front of her with a golden glow all around them.

"Yusei, what happened? The last thing I remember is using Serene Rose Dragon's ability but the rest is a blank." Akiza said before her eyes widened. "Wait, Yusei is it really you?"

"Yeah, it is Akiza." Yusei said quietly. "You managed to beat the Immortal Cosmic Dragon with that last move, which means everyone is safe. Well almost everyone."

"Everyone except you, right Yusei?" Akiza asked sadly. "You were the Immortal Cosmic Dragon so defeating you means you die, right?"

"That's right, I only have a few more minures but Akiza… you're a good person and the others are going to need you to be there for them." Yusei said with a smile. "Serene Rose Dragon managed to free the souls trapped inside the Original Immortal Apocalypse Dragon, including the others who I defeated."

Akiza just nodded sadly before walking up to Yusei and embracing him.

"I'm sorry Yusei, this was the only option we had to end all of this." Akiza said sadly.

Yusei returned Akiza's embrace before smiling gently. "It's ok Akiza, I don't blame you. You're one of my closest friends, and one day we'll meet again."

Akiza just nodded closing her eyes as another golden glow enveloped the two of them.

(Akiza managed to use a new fusion dragon she created by combining the three dragons used in the final duel to defeat the Immortal Cosmic Dragon.
