"She's coming too." said a female voice. "Akiza, wake up, Akiza."
Akiza slowly opened her eyes to see all the other signers and dark signers except for Yusei and Roman.
"Misty?" Akiza asked weakly. "What happened?"
"You saved everyone, you beat the Immortal Cosmic Dragon Akiza." Jack said. "Then again, we lost Yusei so…"
"You know Yusei would want the rest of us to be safe even if he couldn't be." Kalin said thoughtfully. "Still, that doesn't make it less painful to lose a friend."
"Nothing can, but what do we do now?" Carly asked. "Even if the battles are over so many people were hurt."
"There's only one thing we can do, tell Goodwin what happened and try to move forward together." Jack said before closing his eyes. "Zero Reverse tore the city in two, now that everything it caused is finally over its time to fix that."
"You mean connecting New Domino City with the Satellite?" Leo asked. "Is that even possible?"
"If we all work together it should be." Jack said before frowning.
"We all feel the same way, and so many people got caught in the middle of all of this." Misty said sadly. "But you're right Jack, we should move forward together."

"I see, so that's what happened." Goodwin said calmly. "Quite a few people lost their lives in the conflict."
"Too many." Carly said in agreement. "Actually, that's why we wanted to ask you something."
"The Daedalus Bridge, we want you to finish building it." Akiza said. "The city's been split in half for long enough."
"I see, and I agree perhaps it is finally time for the city to reunite. I'll see to it construction resumes immediately." Goodwin said with a nod only to turn to the former Dark Signers. "I assume you'll be returning to your former lives?"
"Our former lives, no offense but I think I'll pass on that." Kalin said quietly. "I didn't exactly a good life back then."
"I see, well if you require any help we are in your debt." Goodwin said calmly.
"What about the rest of you?" Lazar asked. "Will you be returning to your normal lives?"
Misty, Carly, and Devack all exchanged a brief look before nodding.
"I think we all want things to go back to normal, well as close to normal as they can for us." Misty said thoughtfully. "Though I think we should all stay in touch."
"I agree completely." Akiza said with a smile. "So you'll go back to modeling?"
"I think so, actually… I think Carly and I should try and do what we can to help the people who didn't make it." Misty said sadly.
"She's right, everyone we hurt… everyone who suffered because of our battle, Yusei was wrong, they didn't come back." Jack said as everyone looked down sadly. "All we can do now, is try and help the others recover and make sure we don't forget what happened."
"I doubt we'll forget anytime soon. The Crimson Dragon may have freed us from the control of the Netherworld and the Earthbound Immortals, but these marks will stay with us forever." Devack said looking at the mark of the monkey on his arm.
Carly and Misty nodded in agreement looking at their own marks.
"We won't forget either." Luna said in agreement looking at her own mark.
"Well if there's anything else I can do for any of you just ask, the world owes everything to you all." Goodwin said calmly.
Everyone in the room just nodded at that.

"How long has It been since it all happened Jack?" Akiza asked as she walked up to him, Leo, and Luna.
"It's been a year, it's hard to believe, isn't it?" Jack asked. "The Daedalus Bridge was completed and it combined the Satellite with New Domino City."
"Yeah, and people actually were happy to be connected. Well most people anyway." Leo said with a smile.
"You're right Leo, and even if some people don't like that the bridge was finished so many more do." Luna said in agreement before looking down. "Plus, we all know he would have wanted the bridge to be built."
"Yeah, you're right." Akiza said with a smile.
"We aren't interrupting, are we?" asked a male voice.
The four of them turned to see Kalin, Misty, Carly, and Devack.
"We said we should meet up today right?" Carly asked with a smile.
"You have a point Carly we did, and looking around I really feel like the city is changing for the better each and every day." Misty said. "Still, I wish that he could be here with us. Not everything ends up the way we want though."
"No it doesn't." Jack said quietly. "Then again we shouldn't focus on the negatives. He wouldn't want us to do that."
"Jack's right, we all still feel horrible about what happened to Yusei but the fact is when it ended he was gone and stopping the Immortal Cosmic Dragon saved countless lives." Dvack said in agreement.
"You're wrong, at the end… when I won the duel Yusei was there. He told me what happened." Akiza said quietly. "I hadn't really thought about it until now because of everything that happened, but now it makes sense."
"What makes sense Akiza?" Leo asked curiously.
"Yusei told me that when Serena Rose Dragon destroyed the Original Immortal Apocalypse Dragon he used against me it freed the souls it had captured, I thought he meant they were brought back to life but that wasn't it." Akiza said quietly
"He meant they were free from the dragon… free to die." Kalin said before Akiza nodded. "Then I guess, the same thing happened to him."
"Yeah, I think that's what happened." Akiza said before smilng. "Still, it's because of everything that happened that the eight of us are friends now and something tells me Yusei would be happy about that."
"You have a point." Jack said with a smile as everyone else nodded in agreement.
