In King's Landing several little birds heard the song of a merchant trying to pawn a golden pendent. A pendent with the Lion of Lannister on it. They in turn brought their song to their master, the disgraced Maester now loyal to the Queen Mother shared that song with her and the Goldcloaks were dispatched. Dragging the merchant, a simple book binder from the Vale before the King and his court. The disgraced lioness seethed while the merchant told his tale. A young woman had sold him the bauble roughly two years earlier at a market near Redfort. He didn't remember much of her appearance only that she was blond of hair and could roughly be the same age as the lost princess. The young King thanked the merchant and sent him on his way with a purse of coin for his troubles. The Queen Mother rushed to her son's side trying to bend his ear but the Lioness was silenced by a raised hand as the King stood.
"Ser Jaime." Jaime Lannister stepped forward.
"Yes, Your Grace."
"You have spent months in the Riverlands searching for my dear lost sister. I will now ask you to once again begin your search anew. You will leave for the Vale at first light. Lord Crakehall shall deal with the rebels in the Riverlands in your place." King Tommen First of his Name then turned to his High Septon. "I ask that you spare some prayers tonight for my beloved lost sister. May the Mother protect her and the Warrior guide her home." With that court was adjourned. Cersei cornered her twin and her lover as he was preparing to leave.
"Bring our little girl home. She need's me." Jaime looked over his twin, his other half. Cersei was rail thin, her hair shorn from the Walk of Shame she had endured in his absence. The haunted look in her eyes and the dark circles beneath them. The scars from her imprisonment by the Faith Militant. He leaned down and tenderly kissed her brow. "And whoever has her. Make them suffer."
"I will try and bring our daughter back." A single tear ran down Cersei's cheek and Jaime turned and walked away.
