Sorry for not updating in a couple weeks. I've been having issues with my brother arguing that Teen Titans GO! is better than its predecessor, the 2003 Teen Titans show. In my opinion, the original Teen Titans is the superior show with having realistic characters and emotional scenes with real stakes (the whole thing with Trigon and Raven in season four). Meanwhile, Teen Titans GO! has nothing but comedy that is fart jokes and Robin running around naked. The only part of Teen Titans GO! that is good is the Teen Titans GO! Vs Teen Titans movie where they brought back the original version of the Teen Titans from the 2003 show and had them fight against the GO! version before they team up to fight the Trigons of both shows in order to prevent the villains from conquering the multiverse. In my opinion, I'd rather bing watch all nine seasons of My Little Pony Friendship is Magic nonstop over watching one episode of Teen Titans GO!

Anyway, on with the story.

Chapter 58: Hidden Kingdoms

"Watch him carefully," Glory told Clay. "Don't let him talk.

"MMMMMMFF!" Deathbringer complained through the vines that Glory had personally tied to his snout. Cynder didn't agree with the plan, but Link told her that it was part of the path that lead down to the future he came from. They didn't want Deathbringer to spill the beans to Clay before she could get into the forest with Midna stowed in her shadow.

"Good luck, Glory," Cynder stated. "I hope you catch the monster."

Glory nodded and flew back to the tunnel. She knew that a dragon named Stonemover made the tunnel. But why would he build the tunnel.

Burn was the obvious suspect. But Link did call Morrowseer a genocidal maniac back at the SkyWing arena. Putting the fact that the RainWings were disappearing and what Link called Morrowseer, the NightWings were a viable suspect. But the problem was, why would NightWings kidnap RainWings and plot genocide?

She began to practice using her venom more effectively. She made a mess of wilted bushes. She moved on to the waterfall by the tunnel. Frogs were croaking. Several baby loftwings sang to each other.

But she found no evidence of RainWing venom. Maybe the training sessions had been in a different location of the forest. Maybe the tunnel had no connection to the abductions.

Glory kept searching until she found something odd nearby and something hit her hard on the head.

After a while of watching from Glory's shadow. She knew that NightWings took her. Once Glory was removed from the sack, Midna watched as they chained her to a wall and put a metal band around her snout.

Midna emerged from Glory's shadow as the NightWings left. She looked around. They were in a cave of some sort. It was blistering hot as well. There were no Gorons to be seen.

This is definitely not Death Mountain, she thought. She saw a small RainWing appear and nosed Glory in the ribs. The RainWing didn't notice Midna in the slightest.

"Are you awake?" the RainWing asked as her tiny claws opened Glory's eyelids.

"Mmmmf!" Glory exclaimed through the metal band. She tried to push the little RainWing away, but missed.

"Ha Ha, don't even try," the RainWing stated. "I've spent my whole life waking up dragons who'd rather be sleeping instead of training me. I'm excellent at dodging when they are all mad about it." She poked Glory's ruff. "How come I don't know you?"

"Because she never lived in the RainWing village," Midna stated.

The little RainWing turned to face the Twili. "Who are you?" she asked. "Were you also kidnapped by NightWings?"

"Not really," Midna stated. "Glory planned to be bait for whoever was abducting RainWings. I hid in her shadow. I am from the Twilight Realm." She caused the fragments of the Mirror of Twilight to appear. She concentrated her power through the fragments as orbs of energy blasted from the pieces and shattered the chains.

When Glory opened her eyes fully. She looked at Midna with curiosity.

"Don't give me that," Midna chastised her. "It's your fault we're in this situation. I wish I grabbed some of that tonic that Link used at Death Mountain. You could just assume human form and we can teleport out of here." She turned to the smaller RainWing. "You must be Kinkajou. We were looking for you." She pulled out the Ocarina of Time. "The NightWings will be in for a surprise."

During the time at the Dragon Temple, Link made another ocarina that didn't have magical abilities so he and Midna could practice the songs in the Hero of Time's journal without magic coming into effect. She brought the magical ocarina to her lips and began to play a song called "The Song of Storms".

Lightning sounded as a torrential downpour erupted to life outside and the music echoed through the cavern. Midna stopped playing and the storm continued.

"There is no way you can walk out of the cave," Kinkajou stated.

"She's right about that," Midna admitted. "There is a lava river at the entrance."

Glory groaned and pointed at Midna. She mimed her using magic.

"Do you know where a red dragon egg is?" Midna asked.

Kinkajou's eyes widened in realization. "I saw an egg of that description with another RainWing," she replied. "Sadly, when I visited her a few hours ago, the egg wasn't there. It was taken by one of our captures." Glory visibly frowned. "Why do you care about the egg?" Kinkajou asked.

"It is a child of a friend of ours," Midna replied. She summoned one of her spears and walked up to Glory. She began working on the bonds around the RainWing's wings...

Back with Link, Cynder, Clay, and Deathbringer; the NightWing was struggling against Clay.

"You can let him go, Clay," Link stated. "Let him talk."

Clay ripped the gag off of the NightWing and walked away. After a short talk, Deathbringer left to find Glory with Clay.

Link noticed Ember and Cynder talking nearby in hushed whispers. He noticed that Ember was rather embarrassed.

"What are you girls talking about?" Link asked. The females looked away, rather embarrassed. Link noticed. "You were talking about me, weren't you?"

Both Cynder and Ember shook their heads in denial.

"Are you sure?" he asked. "If you weren't talking about me, why would the pair of you suddenly stop talking when I asked what you were talking about?"

Just then, Glory and Midna emerged from a tunnel that was up in a tree. They were accompanied by a RainWing dragonet that Link guessed was Kinkajou. Link looked up and smiled.

"Time to head to the RainWing village," Link stated.

The three of them spread his wings and followed them back to the RainWing village. Glory challenged Magnificent for the throne.

"That was a development," Cynder stated.
