Yet again, I've returned. Despite how busy I've been, there's no way I could just stop uploading. So with three new chapters, I hope you enjoy. One thing to remember; keep moving forward.

Chapter 47: Vexell

"No matter what happens on your path, take care of Morrigan" Belials voice echoed through this darkness.

'I will'

Then an image appeared of the blue ball and it started shining until it grew blinding to see.

"Jay, c'mon, come back, please" Morrigan pleaded.

"Huuuuughhk" I sat up, gasping for air. I immediately grabbed Morrigan and hugged her.

"Don't ever have me do something like that again" she said laughing but serious.

"I think it solved the problem" I replied as I took off my helmet.

She stood and folded her arms and shrugged. "Look around, I think it didnt"

I stood up. She's right, Trints no where in sight. I sighed.

"Jay that scared me" she walked closer to me. Behind those green eyes lingered concern and fear.

"Morrigan, Im sorry" I said, then to reassure her; "Though you should know you're not gonna lose me anytime soon"

"How Jay? You were out cold for 15 minutes! Whats next?!"

"Did you not see me regenerate?! Did I not?" My hand gestures pointed to the ground where I just lied. "Im NOT leaving you! The day I fuck that up is the day I let Belial down! Not one fuckin soul will end me of protecting you, fathering our future kids, OR being there for these humans! I just need you to trust me on these things...alright?" I extended my arms out for her.

She stared at me with watery eyes before she entered and hugged me.

"Alright, I'll trust you. You all mean so much to me. You all are all I have" Her hold on me became tighter.

"You think its not the same for me?" I asked as I rubbed her back up and down. "We're a big family. I love you too much Morrigan" I tilted her head up and smooched her on the lips.

"You're right...I love you more Jay" she placed her lips back on mine.

I felt a weird feeling on my face as I slept that next morning. I wiped my face and jumped up the second my hand smudged against something creamy. I sniffed my hand. Vanilla frosting. I heard a giggle close by. I looked to my right to see Morrigan standing there with a container of vanilla.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!"

I licked the cream off my hand and smiled.

My eyes couldnt stay still as I looked at all the sweets and food on our patio table. Finally the day came that I was 18. It was the 16th of July.

"The girls are on their way" Morrigan announced as she passed me. She had on ripped black jeans complimenting her curves with a fitted black shirt.

I made sure to remember to have a bit of her cake this day as well.

I sat smirking in my seat as Morrigan finished up.

"Whatcha over there thinking about?" Morrigan asked glancing at me.

"Cake" I replied.

She glanced at me again as she sat plates on the table.

"I wonder which knowing you" she replied with a smile.

"You'll find out" I remarked gazing at her.

She smirked. "Really?"

"Mhmm"

She let out a soft chuckle. "Finito"

Morrigan came over and sat next to me, resting her head on my shoulder.

"So this is a birthday party?"

Her question threw me off for a second. "Oh, yea. They're fun if you make it"

"It makes the atmosphere feel...pleasant. I like it"

"Hey there! Who's ready to light the cake?" Rochella asked. The rest of the cabinet entered the backyard after her. They all sat with us.

"I'll do it" I replied eagerly.

"Oh, I forgot the lighter" Morrigan said.

"Its okay! I got my own" I replied eagerly.

I thought hard and looked at my index finger. It grew bright orange until a small flame engulfed the tip of my finger. The cabinet gasped.

I lit the candles and sat back down. The girls were staring at me, some with mouths dropped.

"My, look at you...Make a wish" Morrigan said.

"Maybe wish to put that fire out on your finger" Julia said.

I completely forgot about that and started shaking my hand frantically.

"Jay, relax"

Morrigan quickly grabbed my hand and took my finger into her mouth.

'Sss'

"I guess that works too" Amy said flabbergasted.

Things got wild in an instant.

"So about that wish" I cut in.

What should I wish?

...Got it

I blew out the candles.

I grabbed the knife and cut everyone slices.

I sat and grabbed my fork and pierced my cake.

'vanilla frosted chocolate cake'

I sighed. Damn, who's this?

I put down my fork and grabbed my Iphone.

"Hello?" I asked.

"Hey, you might have a huge issue on your hands..."

I recognized the voice as Asha.

"The military are infesting Calabasas over some extra terrestrial. Its getting pretty ugly over there. This is definitely one for you and the succubus-"

"Just send the coordinates"

"Alright. Oh and sorry to interrupt you"

"How'd-?"

"Happy birthday"

"Thanks a-"

Before I could get out my response, she hung up.

"...lot"

I arose out my seat and started towards the sky.

"I gotta go"

"I? Whats going on?" Morrigan asked, catching up to me.

"Yeah-I. Let me do this one on my own, please"

"No, I'm not"

"Morrigan...just stay here and hang with the girls. Can you do that?"

"I'm not leaving your side"

I glanced at the girls who were watching the conflict.

"Jay, why are you being so selfish? You get all this strength and think you can do everything on your own"

"And you never did?"

Morrigan chuckled unable to believe her ears. She placed her hands on her hips. "You really dont get it? We're a team. Teams take on there foes together. Theres no I in we Jay"

"Fine. Fine. C'mon"

She smiled. "Thank you"

"Thank you" I said mocking her accent.

She giggled.

I hurried towards the table and stuffed one last slice into my mouth.

"I'll see you later clique. I'll be back"

Julia rolled her eyes.

"But we just got here your highness" Akeno wined.

"I promise we'll do something depending on the time I get back. Here's the key Rochella. You guys can chill here if you want"

"Byeee" the girls each said to us.

"Extra-Terrestrial?" Morrigan asked.

"Yeah, guess another warm up before Demitri huh?

"Indeed"

We landed on a skycraper. I scoped the scenery looking for any military.

"There" Morrigan pointed east of us.

I looked and saw tanks coming down a main street. Traffic was blocked off. People were scrambling everywhere.

Shits about to get hectic

I leaped off the ledge towards the action.

"I mean you all no harm. Now tell me; Where is Superior?!"

"FREEZE GOTDAMMIT! SURRENDER!"

"Why should I?"

With that said, a tank jerked, shooting at the alien. Vesuvius deflected the shot into the clouds.

"ATTACK!"

Another tank shot but Vesuvius dodged it. The shot hit a billboard where people were underneath, recording and running. The billboard tipped over.

I thought fast.

I flew and caught the billboard in midair just as it gave way.

A TMZ bus sped by. "Mommy look in the air, a superhero" a boy said to his mom.

I watched as the people stood still recording.

"GET TO SAFETY!" I yelled.

I lifted the billboard and replaced it on top of a building.

Wheres Morrigan?

I heard an explosion go off behind me. A burning car flipped through the air. I looked over to see where it was landing. A mom and her two daughters were crouching helpless under shelter with no clue what was coming.

I prepared to take action until I seen Morrigan intervene. Her wings formed into hands and caught the vehicle. She placed the car on the ground safely. She turned around and blew me a kiss.

I focused back on the alien who hovered in the air. We caught contact as he looked my way.

"Extra Terrestrial location found. 30 feet north", my A.I notified.

The alien slowly started moving further away.

"Hey!" I yelled.

As if on cue, the aliens speed increased as he took off.

"Ahhhh, don't make me do this..."

I took off into the air and sonic boomed my way towards the trespasser.

In the skies of Calabasas, people spectated as two streaks flew over their heads.

This objective had a nice distance. He descended into traffic, cutting in between trucks causing horns to be hunked and brakes to be hit. I trailed after splitting through obstacles.

Up ahead, an eighteen wheeler began crossing our path.

"Got you"

The alien noticed the truck and ascended, simply flying into the red light above.

"How the hell?"

I watched and noticed a blue beam of light come from the traffic light left of me. It morphed into the alien again and continued it's escape.

"Damn! Bae won't believe this" I said aloud.

The creature of blue light ahead of me looked back, and if I wasn't mistaken, I saw a smirk.

"A bit cocky huh?"

The chase seemed to be going on too long.

'This cluck must be toying with me'

"You're starting to piss me off bud, play times over"

I visioned myself turning into

Pyron hitting the speed of light.

As I imagined, I closed in on my target.

Suddenly the being disappeared and was replaced by a portal.

"Fuck"

I entered the portal unwillingly and slowed down as fast as possible. I hit the ground with hard tumble rolls. I slid into control and looked around.

"Egypt?"

"Yes"

The voice came from my right. There it was, the man of blue light floating close by.

"And you are?" I asked with my guard up.

"Vesuvius... your long lost relative"

I opened my helmet as I stayed speechless.

"Is it by coincidence that we share the same light? Or share the same letter of your alphabet?"

"You tell me"

"Kindly. Vell, you were passed down through a Pharoahs son which is your great grandfather. Know this was years before Morrigan. You are the product of a giant blue star.

'How does he know Morrigan? And a-' "Star?"

"Yes. The aura that surrounds you is its matter thats rooted within. That star is connected in one of the constellations above these pyramids.

I looked around the sky, astonishingly, a constellation floated above my head. My eyes immediately focused on a small blue dot.

"Wasn't too hard to find right? On a terrible night, Vexell sent a beam of light into the pyramids peak. It startled your ancestors.

Your sleeping spirit; an entity of light at the time was accompanied by another orb; Myself. I used heiroglyphics to tell your people who and what you are"

Vesuvius grew quiet.

"Which is?"

"Ah, so very interested. You were to be preserved by the strongest civilazation at that time.

The energy would bring abundance to a world that was merged with Earth itself in a time of trouble. It were to be awakened in the second son of the 222th generation. The light was passed down from the Pharoahs second son down through his offspring. Now 18 years ago, that energy has awakened...Vell, you were created to save humanity from the Darkstalkers, to end Demitri. You've been blessed through ways unimaginable."

"Woah...how'd you know of the Darkstalkers?"

"Pyron and I had talked a long time ago of your coming.

Pyron had originally came to Vexell to devour us all. I pleaded with Pyron to take Earth instead-"

"Why the hell would you do that?!"

"Relax! Listen to me, I intrigued Pyron by promising him the strong opponents he could face and how much more nutrient Earth was than Vexell. I had made a deal with Pyron. Telling him how we'd sent a being of our own to Earth in hopes to restore Vexell. Once Vexell grew larger, Pyron could feel free to devour us if he defeated the guardian Superior. I pleaded to keep our people alive long enough to see our Messiah manifest. For Pyron, he was all for the challenge, believing he was unstoppable. When he came to Earth, Demitri had sucked away Pyrons energy. It was a relief I tell you. When Pyron gave you his remaining strength, the growth in your power triggered an alert back on Vexell. I, during this time was trying to locate you Vell. When you had fused your cells. I was able to pin point your location"

"How do you know all this? If you're lying I'll end you right here"

"He's not Jay"

"Morrigan?" I asked.

I watched her as she stepped out of a portal.

"I was there, Demitri and I fought against Pyron. That's what Pyron meant when he noticed I didn't recognize him at Demitris old kingdom"

I thought back. '...Living Deity...'

I looked back to Vesuvius.

"How was Vexell?"

"Our planet, Vexell was home to many light beings. Wishing to live eternally; they looked for other species of life to reproduce with. The nearest place for that species was Earth. Overpopulation caused Vexell to near its end. Too much matter was built up. The beings knew this so we fused as many willing people together to reduce the matter. That fusion became a new energy, which we sent to Earth, saving Vexell. You are a product of the heroes who kept Vexell from experiencing a supernova. Its only right that you keep that legacy and save Earth as well"

"Alright, answer this...who's the Messiah you speak of? Is that me as well?"

"Yes, Superior is your ultimate form. Just like the star you are, you have a long life ahead of you. You can absorb light as well, spirits even. But be mindful, too much matter accumulated will cause a supernova resulting in your destruction. On the bright side, you have access storage within your human spirit which makes a supernova less likely for you. You are the only breed of your kind. You are eternal. On this day, you will become at your ultimate form. Your spirit and the star within you will finish its fusion making you superior to other stars and humans. Nothing will consume you or overwhelm you. You have no limits beyond that point"

"Will I go mad?"

"Apart from the star you are, you're mind has no limits. Not if you desire it not too. You have the power to create as you see fit. You can bring forth creation as well as destruction. Its up to you, thats your responsibilty. Although, I advise that you stay a source for good. Negative actions only bring forth negative consequences. Those people of Earth wish for their desires when they see us shooting stars. We are seen as many things. You'll be seen as their hero once you've granted them their freedom Vell"

"Well well, looks like I found the gold at the end of the rainbow" Morrigan said biting her lip.

"Definitely" Vesuvius replied.

Vesuvius hovered to me and extended forth his hand.

"I know that wasn't the most pleasant way to meet. Despite it all, I'm pleased to see what you've become"

The mean mug on my face faded and I smiled and shook his hand.

Vesuvius had departed from us. Morrigan and I were now near home, moving thru the clouds.

"I'm kind of in the mood for five guys"

"We have food at home, Akeno cooked plenty...are they still there?"

"Yeaaa you're right...um I don't know. AI, text Rochella if she left the keys or is she still there"

"Message sent"

"Rochella texted back 'We left. The keys are inside the hammock. See you two tomorrow?'"

"AI text her 'yes'"

"Done"

Morrigan and I were now entering my basement. The sky was preparing for a sunset. I went to the kitchen without hesitation. My eyes immediately caught on to the Italian beefs she had left over. I prepared a couple and headed back downstairs.

"Your appetite is impeccable" Morrigan stated as she seen me with my stuffed plate.

I sat next to her on the bed as she watched TV.

"Your sex drive is the same" I replied with a chuckle.

She smiled. "What can I say? Girls just wanna have fun"

"When I'm done eating, I'll give you some fun"

"Then I'll go get the shower ready" she said with a smirk.

I laughed. "Bet"

Hours later, something sparked in Demitri's consciousness as he stared out his window.

"...He's changed again" he muttered under his breath.

A grim look formed on the Darkstalkers face.

"Sabrina, come to me"

"Yes, my Lord"

Demitri caressed her petite shoulders and gave an evil grin...

"Ugh!" Sabrina shrieked as Demitri attached himself to her neck. "Take as much as you desire"

Blood stained Demitri's fangs as he fed. He released the girl; her body fell slumped at his feet. He let out a sinister laugh.

"Bahahahaaa! The Makai shall be mine! Mark my words Vell!"
