At 4 a.m, in respect of my father's older friend and Trint himself, I brung Morrigan and Trint to Assumption cemetery. My eyes stung from holding back the pain deep inside of me. All that anger and blind rage put what could have been my best friend six feet under.
With the help of my morphonite, I pointed my index at the stone and lasered in Trint J. Jacobs. 1998-2015.
I leveled the dirt with my shovel.
Morrigan stood beside me in a black button up long sleeve and purple pants. I looked at the two graves.
"Farewell Trint" I said. I gripped the shovel tighter and hung my head.
Morrigan showed her sympathy by rubbing a hand on my back.
"He's at peace now Jay. It's alright"
I looked at Morrigan with watery red eyes. "Yea, I know"
I placed the shovel at the tombstone. The stone reflected the suns light as it rised behind us.
"I can't stay here, come on" I said. Being amongst their graves only gave me bad memories. I suited up and headed to the mountains.
We landed on the highest rock and Morrigan sat at the edge, gazing out towards the sunrise. I held the dark morphonite in my hand as I hovered besides her.
"Are you keeping that?" She asked.
"Nope" I tossed the chain into the abyss. I removed my helmet.
"It feels like I'm losing more and more of myself..." I said. I watched the sun ascend in the distance.
"Why?"
"One day it'll just be you & I... probably no one else. The people I grew up with I feel like are apart of me. Death really takes its toll"
"Don't you think I feel the same?" She stood up besides me. "But I don't want you speeding up the process with your energy intake" she said as she looked at me.
I turned to her. "I appreciate your concern"
"No, you don't" She said bluntly.
"Seriously, I do. Without you looking out for me, I wouldn't have made it this far"
She smiled. "This is only the tip of the iceberg Jay"
"Whatever's underneath..." I said, placing my hands at her hips. "We're ready"
The Princess then smiled and bit her lip. She rested her forearms on my shoulders. Her eyes slowly shut as her soft lips locked with mine. Seconds afterwards, she pulled away.
"Aren't you tired?" She asked. I felt her hand stroke the back of my neck.
"Very" I replied. I wrapped an arm around her and we levitated into the sky.

"Wow, you were really going to sleep?" I heard as I lied on my bed.
I looked at my phone. It was now 6am. Sleep definitely sounded good at the moment. Morrigan exited the bathroom and climbed into the bed. My eyes didn't hesitate to grow big seeing her in her lingerie but more eye popping was my mach 1 helmet she wore.
"Not without doing what we do best" I replied.
She placed her hand on my chest.
"Fighting?"
"Second to that" I responded.
"Hmm, is it fun?" She asked, playing curious.
"Yea"
"Is it...nasty?"
"That too"
"Then I believe..." Morrigan then opened the helmet. "It starts with this"
My eyes were anchored onto her green gaze which fell to her mouth. My girlfriend leaned in until our lips found each other. How she knew to open my helmet, I had no clue but her in my armor looked sorta cool.
The thought of wanting sleep faded as the feeling of our skin against each others made my blood run deep. I could never get enough of this girl. My body would be sore later but right now I didn't care. I removed the helmet from her. Morrigan rested on top of me and locked her lips near my clavicle bone and sucked. Her body language showed me she wanted this moment just as bad. She wrapped her hair behind her left ear as she leaned back to pull off my shorts. She rubbed my erection before pulling it out of my boxers. I grew bigger at the sensation of her hand stroking me before taking me into her warm and wet mouth. I wanted to satisfy her all over again. My hands clenched the sheets as she sucked.

She rested a hand on top of her waist for me to grab. She gripped my hand and pushed back, forcing more of me into her. Her bum was now red and damp. Nothing felt more pleasing than knowing this beautiful girl wanted me as bad as I wanted her. She loosened her grip and looked back. I slowed down and kissed her. Her hair stuck to the side of my face as she stuck out her tongue to meet mine. She placed her hand on the side of my neck as she maneuvered her way on top. I groaned as I opened my eyes. I looked to my side for Morrigan. She lied there, still and peaceful. I grabbed my phone from the dresser. 12 p.m. In blue skinnies and a white tank top, I walked outside and observed the scenery of my backyard. The weather was nice and the sound of traffic filled my ears. I looked up into the sky.
"Vesuvius could we talk?"
I gave it a few seconds to see if he would appear.
"Guess not"
"What's troubling you?"
I turned around wide eyed, surprised by his voice. My alien relative floated beside me, blue as the sky, shining bright.
"Good to see you again" I said, giving away a smile.
"Likewise"
"I was just asleep but I think I had another dream...this time de-ja-vu...and I don't want to tell her"
"I understand. Go on"
"At least I believe that what I saw in my sleep was de-ja-vu but um...Morrigan was kneeling over me but with tears coming down her face. I don't know where we were but the sky was orange and blue...Something just doesn't feel right"
"How have you came out of every situation beforehand where something didn't feel right? Where things were uncertain. Are you still intact?"
"Yea I guess" I answered, not fully understanding.
"That's what you need to trust. The universe will work everything out for the better" He said, reassuringly. He placed a hand on my shoulder. Its was weird because I couldn't feel it.
"I hope so. I don't want to let anyone down" I said, looking him in the eyes.
"Don't stress yourself, you were designed to be great"
I appreciated the encouragement. I looked out at the seagulls roaming the sky.
"Do you...Do you know something?" I turned to him.
No longer was he there.
"Well then" I muttered.

I plopped onto the living room sofa.
'Without a doubt the past hours have to be going viral'
I immediately clicked on the tv. I turned to the news station.
"It's a sunny morning here in Malibu, California. A nice 75 degrees. Partial chance for it to cool down to 70 by this evening..."
I fiddled with my old helmet while listening in. I stared at the battle marks.
"This just in, there's been a couple devastating events in the last 24 hours. Starting off with Paris. They are in terrible shock due to their famous Louvre museum being broken into just last night. Prior to that, the historic Joyeuse sword has gone missing. However, a young girl is on solitary grounds after being found at the scene unconscious with a basket of firearms. Paris police officials are investigating this unfortunate issue as we speak...onto Suwong Taq with other news on Japan"
Morrigan sighed. "Oh, Bonnie...such a fool"
I looked over my shoulder to see Morrigan rested on the other couch.
'When the hell did she get in here?'
DING DONG!
Morrigan and I exchanged glances.
'Must be the knights'
I looked through the peephole to see Asha in a white shirt labeled Supreme with fitted blue jeans. She had her feet in all white air forces.
'Not bad'
I opened the door with a smile. "Hey. What's up?"
"Sorry to come unannounced. Could I come in?" She asked. She looked me up and down and back at my eyes. A small smile appeared on her face.
I answered her by extending my arm to the living room. I closed the door behind her. Asha sat on the sofa as I rested on the love seat. Morrigan sat on the armrest beside me.
"So bad news...Oh, hello Morrigan"
Morrigan gave her a smile.
Asha cleared her throat. "So Demitri and Nina have made a compromise"
"On what?" I asked.
"She's increasing her power by taking the lifeforce of her victims then gives their blood to Demitri. We all know blood and Demitri obviously's not a good combo"
"What's Nina's location?" I asked.
Asha looked at the TV. A brunette female reporter showed holding a mic.
"In alleyways and rooftops, officials have found bodies lifeless and dry as ice. Now most of Tokyo have been spending their nights indoors leaving the streets a ghost town if not leaving the town altogether"
I looked at the graphic images on the screen. Something within me grew infuriated.
Morrigan attention went from the screen to me.
"Morrigan call up Rochella and the gang. I want Talbain here a.s.a.p. Asha, what time is it there right now?"
"5 a.m."
"Right on. Let's get to it"

I stood in front of the TV and fireplace. Everyone was now gathered in my living room. Amy, Julia, Akena and Rochella sat on one couch. Asha and Talbain sat on the other close to the door. Morrigan sat in our usual love seat near me.
"Well I'm glad to see everyone, as you all know, Demitris been strengthening himself somewhere not too far from here. Besides that, Majetek Nina has been doing the same although in Tokyo. Asha has gave me word that the two are working together. That calls for us to do the exact same. Lives are at stake here and it's up to us to save them. If you didn't know, Pitch is deceased and Bonnie is locked the fuck up which makes our job a tad bit easier-"
"Sorry to cut you off but what do you suppose we do primarily?" Rochella asked.
"Teams" I responded. "Two teams of four, any suggestions?"
I glanced across the room. Asha and Morrigan exchanged looks.
"I'll be with Rochella and you?" Akena asked, looking at me.
"Sure, Talbain you'll join us"
"No problem here" he responded taking a bite of his submarine sandwich.
Morrigan rolled her eyes. I got the feeling she knew what was coming.
"Team 2: Amy, Morrigan, Julia and Asha. Agreed?" I asked as I looked at Morrigan.
"Agreed" Morrigan stated dryly.
Asha looked at her and over to me. "I'm in agreement"
"I'm in!" Amy eagerly stated.
"So am I!" Julia added.
"Perfect. Now that's done-"
"Is this your first time doing this?" Akena asked.
"Actually it is" I looked at Morrigan and Talbain who had bright smiles on their faces.
"Talbain you got something um" I pointed a finger to the side of my mouth.
He instantly wiped the mustard off of his face. "Thanks"
"Yea, on to part two. Morrigan, Talbain, do you know Demitris first line of defense?"
"His vampire army" Morrigan answered, crossing her legs.
"Of course, I had my own run in with one of them. With that said, Team B will find Demitris castle. Team A, you all have Majetek Nina. You all capture her and that puts a stop to Demitris sugar rush and possibly exorcise Majetek. Once Team B ambushes and holds a position, we meet up. Ultimately, kill Dracula and exterminate his home"
"Easier said then done" Asha said.
"No one said this will be easy, but we have to get this shit done. So let's do it right. We have a plan. Team A; Majetek Nina. Team B; Demitris castle. We get one shot. We all have our reasons why we have to win this fight"
Rochella glanced out the window. The other girls tilted their heads. Morrigan nodded.
"Rochella and gang; now's your opportunity to solidify your spot in the kingdom. I have my own spot to secure...Let's watch each other's backs and be careful to not turn into blood addicts ourselves. We don't know everything that's waiting for us, but one thing is...victory. Let's win this together. We got this"
"Well put" Talbain said, saluting me.
Morrigan bit her lip as she smirked at me. Rochella and Akena clapped.
Everyone got up and chatter filled the living room. I headed towards the backyard. Morrigan caught up to me.
"You didn't want me on your team?" She asked. Her voice sounded upset.
I looked at her. "What do you mean? We've always been a team. Right now, you need to work on your attitude towards Asha. That's why we're taking a break. Besides that, I need you to summon the portal to bring them back here"
"Fine...but you know how she feels about us"
"She knows better bae. She's earned my trust"
"But-"
I put my finger at her lip. "Ah Ah. We talked about trust. Didn't we?"
"Yes, I trust you. I'm sorry"
"You're fine"
"...Thank you"
I chuckled. I sat on the backyard table facing the kitchen. She sat besides me.
"Nice speech by the way, you rehearsed that in your spare time?" She asked.
"Na, you liked it huh?"
"Mhm. Tell me, have you figured it out?"
"What?"
"Demitri"
"I believe I got enough in me"
"Say you don't, then what?"
"I'll abs- I, I um"
"Ah Ah, we talked about that didn't we? You have what it takes Babe"
"I know I do, it doesn't hurt to reach new limits though. I know it might be terrifying. But like you said, it's only the tip of the iceberg"
"I don't want to play jeopardy with all the things Father discussed" her tone grew serious.
"I'm not gonna jeopardize our future, YOU are my future"
Morrigan gazed in my eyes. "I can't get over you and your way with words"
I gave her a smile. Out the corner of my eye, I spotted Talbain approaching us.
"So, where's Demitris doorstep?" Talbain asked eyeing us two.
"I'll go check in with the girls" Morrigan stated.
I gazed at her as she walked towards the patio. "Somewhere in Los Angeles, Asha's looking into it as we speak"
"Nice" Talbain took a seat next to me. "How are you feeling about all of this? I know it's a lot of pressure on you"
"Im good"
"No, really...How are you feeling about all of this?" I could feel his eyes on me.
"I believe without a doubt we'll win, but I don't believe we'll win without a scratch" I replied, I glanced at him and back towards the girls. I spectated Julia as she loaded her sawed off shotguns.
"Yeaaa, you got a point. Some things do take sacrifices. I'm a blessing and a curse, what does that tell ya?"
"Yea, I don't get as fur-rious as you though" I joked.
Talbain chuckled. "Funny"
"Coordinates received! My data's loading" Asha yelled as she looked down at her wristwatch. Everyone gathered around her eager to know Dracula's location.
Talbain and I jogged back into the house.
"430 North Main Street"
"He's in the L.A plaza?" Rochella asked.
"Not what you think. He's in one of the dark areas of L.A plaza" Asha retorted.
"The Pico House" Amy added.
Silence crept over everyone.
