Chapter .7.
Islana looked at the Cullen's. Oh how she missed them. And her little babies were so BIG now. If only she could have stayed. She could see the shock in the Cullen's and others faces at seeing her in her true form.
"Bella", Edward whispers
"Yes Edward. But my name is actually Islana, daughter of Kronos and Rhea", Islana says gently getting up to greet them.
The Cullen's and others looked shocked as she moved with just grace. Nothing like the clumsy person they had once knew.
"Mummy?" Renesmee asks hesitantly
Islana turns her attention to the 5 children, Her three little girls and two boys.
"Yes it is me my darlings", Islana tells them tears in her eyes
"Mummy!" they yell and run to her
Islana was already on the ground ready to catch them. They throw themselves into her arms. Clinging to her for dear life.
Islana couldn't believe she had her babies in her arms again. She thought she might not get her brother to let her. But then again she did THREATEN him this time to let her see them.
She could feel her babies tears soak into her dress.
"Shh my loves. Mummy is here", Islana says softly, "Let me look at you my Little Ones"
They pull back to see their mothers eyes, that were full of so much love.
"Mummy why did you go?" Lizzie asks
"Didn't you love us anymore?" Jemmalie asks
"Oh no my darlings. NEVER doubt I love you with ALL my heart. It wasn't really my chose to leave. But I have been with you every day since the day I left you. I have been watching over you all. Including your Dad, Grandparents, Uncles, Aunts and the others", Islana informs them
"Bel…Lady Islana your truly Bella?" Carlisle asks
"I am I swear this on the River Styx", Islana replies as boom of thunder signalled her oath, "Why don't we all take seats?"
Islana motions them to the couches. She gets on one and her sons and daughters climb up to cuddle up next to her. Islana smiles softly at her little angels.
"You have a lot of questions", Islana states looking at all of them
She could HEAR all their thoughts. They ranged from happiness, to anger, to grief, to confusion, to relief an so many more thoughts passed through their heads.
"You bet we do Bells! We grow up together!" Jacob growls
"First Jacob my name IS Islana. Bella was just a cover name. YOU grow up with me. I had turned myself mortal to live a mortal life. And to be with someone I cared so much about. But make NO mistake everyone I AM a Goddess. The twin sister to Hades, sister of Hestia, Demeter, Hera, Poseidon and Zeus. Member of the Olympian Council", Islana tells them firmly
"Why did you leave?" Edward asks with a broken look.
"There is a law. Gods and Goddesses can't interact much with their demigod children and their mortal parent. That is one of the Ancient Laws. I HAD to obey. Zeus was getting angry with my continued absence. So he ordered me home after I gave birth and named our children", Islana explains
She runs her fingers though Edward Jr's hair who smiles at her happily.
"Why did you claim me?" Alice asks confused
Islana smiles softly, "Your my daughter Alice. And I am so, so, very, very sorry I didn't look after you all those decades ago. But once again Zeus interfered"
Alice was speechless. Her best friend was actually her mother! This was crazy!
"Why didn't you tell me?" Alice asks hurt
"It wasn't time. I am the Goddess of Destinies Alice. I KNEW when I could tell you. And that moment was now", Islana replies
"Why did you leave me?" Alice asks looking so hurt, it broke Islana's heart.
"I had no chose Little One. Your TRUE father died. You were left with his brother and his wife. And they dumped you in the mental institution. When I found out after you have become a vampire. I sent them to my brother to put them in the Fields of Punishment for harming MY little girl", Islana says viciously
"So my name wasn't Mary Alice Brandon?" Alice asks
"No. Is was Alice Isabella Dixon", Islana replies
"How do I know this is real?" Alice asks, "Sorry I didn't mean to be mean"
"Don't worry about it. But I DO have proof", Islana replies getting up and going to a photo frame on the fireplace.
She lifts it up and hands it to Alice.
"That is you, me and your father", Islana tells her showing her the black and white photo
The Cullen's gasp at seeing a young Alice smiling in the arms of a woman that was Islana with a man that looked like Edward arms around the both of them. All looking at each other with so much love.
"Who knew that just a few months later it would ALL be ripped away", Islana tells them softly
"We were happy? My Dad loved me?" Alice asks rapidly and emotional at seeing her family.
"We were definitely happy. Your Dad loved you more than life itself. He spoiled you rotten. He loved you the same as he loved me", Islana replies
"I can't believe this", Alice whispers tracing the people in the picture.
"You were a Daddy's girls from day one. You had my darling husband wrapped around your finger", Islana informs her chuckling.
Edward felt pain at hearing that his Bel…Islana loved another man. That she had been married before. It hurt to think he didn't love him.
"Oh I love you so much my Edward. Don't think those thoughts", Islana tells him having heard them load and clear.
"How did you?" Edward asks confused
"My FULL title is Lady Islana, Goddess of Earth, Destinies, Sacrifice, Infinity, Shields, Barriers, Ideas, Thoughts and Memories. I can read your thoughts very easily", Islana explains to them.
"Not another mind reader!" Emmett groans
Causing Islana to chuckle.
"Oh my dear nephew I am afraid so", Islana replies
"Nephew?" Emmett asks confused
Islana rolls her eyes, "You're the son of my Nephew. So your my Great Nephew. Carlisle is my Great-Great Nephew. Esme is my Niece. Rosalie is my Great Niece. Jasper and Peter your my Great Nephews. Kate your my Niece. Garrett your my Great Nephew. Jessica, Eric you two are also my Great Niece and Nephew. Charlotte your my Niece", Islana tells them
"That will take time to get used too", Kate says
Islana chuckles, "Trust me you get used too it. As the Olympians and off Minor Gods are ALL related or married to each other"
"Why did you do this?" Edward asks pained
"I needed to be close too all of you", Islana replies
"You were messing with us that whole time weren't you?!" Rosalie growls
Islana's eyes narrow, "Be careful your words Rosalie. Gods don't like people who talk like that to them. People HAVE been vaporized for doing that or less. And NO I wasn't messing with him. I love Edward and still do"
Edward's eyes widen at those words.
"How DARE you lie to MY Edward. And he is mine! Not yours", Tanya yells
"As I said to Rosalie,Tanya. Mind. Your. Words. I am patience but even I will crack eventually and you WILL be punished", Islana tells her
Tanya and Rosalie snort at that.
"Bella you can't be serious!" Jacob exclaims
"I am deadly serious. And know this Jacob Black I DO NOT love you. I have always loved Edward. And Edward is the only one for me", Islana replies with conviction
Everyone looked confused by her words. What did that mean?
"What does that mean?" Edward asks confused
Islana gets up and hands over several more photos. Each with a man in it that looked like Edward.
"What is this?" Edward asks confused
"Edward there had ever only been one man for me. I made a vow in my younger days, that was thousands and thousands of years ago. To stay with the same SOUL for all eternity. And that I wouldn't have sex or children with any other", Islana tells him
They all looked confused still not getting what she was trying to tell them.
"But you had children with me", Edward states
Islana raises an eyebrow.
"You are bright Edward. ALWAYS have been. Think it through", Islana encourages him gently
Edward HAD thought of a possibility but it was not possible.
Islana could see the denial in his eyes.
"That man in those pictures is YOU Edward. Your soul in those bodies. YOU are my one and only. Always have been and always will be"
