Kagome walked out of the hospital to head over to Ayumi's house. On her way to her car she received a call from Inuyasha. Kagome smiled and answered the phone.
"Hey babe, I'm on my way to Ayumi's house. I haven't seen her in a while and she" Kagome was cut off.
"Why are you going to see her? If she hasn't talked to you for a while then that's not a good friend" Kagome stared shocked at her phone. She never heard Inuyasha speak negatively about her friends. She brought the phone back to her ear.
"Inuyasha what's going on? She says she needs to talk to me it's important." Inuyasha was nervously walking back and forth in his room. His hand sweeping back and forth on his head and he starts to worry. "Well can I go with you Kags?"
Kagome smiled at her phone. She wondered why he was acting like a puppy. "Inuyasha don't worry, I'll stop by your house when I'm done. Also Yuka and Eri will be there too so I'm not sure they would want you there. It'll be a girl day. I love you Inuyasha, don't worry I'll talk to you soon."
"Wait Kagome" Kagome hung up. She didn't want to be late to see her girls. It's been a while since she had seen Ayumi so she wants to make sure she's okay. She got into her red Camery and drove to her friend's house.
Ayumi was pacing back and forth as well. Her arms crossed over her chest as tears welled in her eyes. She called Eri and Yuka over. Yuka had no idea what was going on but Eri already knew. She wasn't comfortable with Kagome being ambushed like this but she needed to know.
"What if she doesn't want to be my friend after this, Inuyasha also doesn't know.. This isn't going to end well" Ayumi told Eri and Yuka. Eri rolled her eyes, her arms crossed while she laid on the couch, and replied. "These are the consequences you have to deal with. You need to own up to this and face it. Kagome needs to know so that she can decide what she wants to do. You can't blind side her later on when they already created a life together."
Yuka looked at Ayumi confused. "Wait what's going on? Inuyasha doesn't know what? What does Kagome need to decide?" Yuka stood up from the couch and stared at Ayumi. Ayumi looked at her friends, then looked down at the floor. Not sure of what to say herself or of how Kagome would take the new. The guilt was really setting into her as she brought her face to the palms of her hands. Yuka called out gently "Ayumi"
Ayumi brought her head out of her hands. She needed to let Yuka know as well. She didn't want Kagome to get overwhelmed with the news. She is still unsure of what to say to Kagome. Maybe if they all knew she could think of how to let Kagome know gently.
"W-well you see.." Just then Kagome entered the room smiling.
"Hey girls! It's been a while I missed you guys!" she went around the room hugging her friends. She got to hugging Ayumi and Ayumi started sobbing uncontrollably.
"I'm sorry Kagome.. I.. I'm so sorry.." Ayumi got down on her knees sobbing while Kagome still hugged her.
"What's going on Ayumi, please talk to me" Kagome worried over her friend while she looked over at Eri. Eri sighed as she brought her hand to her head "Kagome, I think you need to back away from Ayumi right now and sit next to me and Yuka on the couch." Kagome looked at Eri confused, she couldn't understand why Eri would say that.
"No, she is our friend and she needs help, we have to console her" Kagome stared down Eri. Once again Eri sighing deeply, she brought her hands to her hips as she walked over to Ayumi and pulled her away from Kagome's grasp.
"Tell her" Ayumi commanded.
"I.. I.." "Yeah tell her I want to know too! I am also in this guys!" Yuka chimed in.
Kagome, Eri, and Yuka stood around Ayumi. Ayumi looked at Kagome and stiffed quietly "I'm pregnant" Kagome and Yuka both gasped. Shocked at how this could have happened. "Omg Ayumi how did this happen?" Kagome worried. "I-it was an accident I promise I'm sorry Kagome" Kagome hugged her friend. "Don't apologize to me, this is your life and I won't judge you." "NO!" Ayumi pushed Kagome away. Eri held Kagome as she fell back from Ayumi's push. "Watch it Ayumi, you need to tell her now"
Ayumi continued to sob. "I don't get it" Kagome said looking at Eri. Eri, Yuka and Kagome looked at Ayumi. "Ayumi" Eri warned. Ayumi winced at Eri's tone.
"Who is the father" Yuka asked quietly. "Yeah Ayumi, who is it" Eri pushed.
Ayumi looked at Kagome as tears rolled down her cheeks. "I'm so sorry Kagome, it's.. it's Inuyasha"
