Super Smash Bros. Ultimate 'Persona 5 Crossover'

Episode #4 - Welcome to the Video Game World
From seeing video game characters from Nintendo like Kirby to be wondering around of the danger going on, others as well from the Persona 5 Strikers from the last few months event, as well as the Phantom Thieves know to see and hear this event than regular people are unable to do. From other children and teens getting capture all over the world but Japan so far; with the three people from Cross Edge event asking for Akechi's help since they had their event to talk about along with Troy working for Akechi as Troy, York, and Mika know of him with the other members are the Phantom Thieves – Keiko, Morgana, Ryuji, Ann, Yusuke, Makoto, Futaba, and Haru decided to work together on this one. It's been decided on! As well as stopping the group of terrorist to be real known Shadow Law from the Street Fighter series. Will they striker in this country next? Maybe...The guys will be waiting for them in order to stop the real threat at a hand. Along with getting the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate game they've been waiting for in line – Keiko got one for Akechi, her, and Morgana, York for Mika and Troy, Futaba has hers, Ryuji, Ann, Yusuke, Makoto, and Haru to all be good and others. So for now to hopefully run into Kirby again, the others take off just to play it safe.
Troy: Now we've all decided, we should get going.
Akechi: Agreed. We don't know if anyone who works for Shadow Law are hiding behind the shadows. So it's best to be safe than sorry. But we should get together to plan something in the morning. And it's rather getting late.
Futaba: Ah, already? But I want to play my new game now. And this for us lucky people before the real big release date for the rest to be sold.
For now, they have to go with the plan.
Morgana: This is more important than playing the game, Futaba. Maybe later.
Keiko: Akechi-Cun's right. Let's go. Stay safe. Same with you three, take care. (A lot more to talk about and for our next move, this won't be so easy.)
Ryuji: Fine...We talk, play, and then get to work.
Ann: Hopefully we can aid other...Well, lively video game characters that are real.
Yusuke: I hope so too, I wish to draw them.
Makoto: I think that'll scare them even more, Yusuke. Come on, we should go.
Haru: We'll meet again, York-san, Mika-Chan, and Troy-san.
Going with Akechi plan, it's time to leave.
York: Fine, we might as well go.
Mika: See you all tomorrow. Keiko, let's hang out too once this is all over!
Keiko: Yeah! I like that idea very much!
Another good friend to make there, huh? Off everyone goes on to a bus 'with the other three sticking together', along with Akechi, Keiko, and Morgana.
Akechi: I wanted to play this game too, Princess. We'll just have to pick another day while we're staying here on the Halloween week for our little visit.
Keiko: It's fine. The work comes first.
Morgana: The only thing left is how we can get our Phantom Thief powers back for this one since it's a brand new world. If that's the case, then maybe Lady Lavenza might know something. I'll visit her tomorrow. My love...
Good idea there. For Morgana will be happy to see Lava tomorrow, and a hold up on playing the game for later.
Keiko: You think Lava is aware of the commotion going on?
Akechi: That depends how serious it has gotten. (Then maybe. Still...I get this weird feeling of a brand new danger closing in real soon.)
Hopefully something good would come around it and nothing seriously bad. With the others doing their chores back home for some and then getting clean up for bed to sleep for another new day to start later on; unaware of the game itself of the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate small gaming piece started to glow up with the enemy closing in for the capture on the other children and teens to go missing 'like some type of tracking signal'. Not good at all. It was night out for Keiko and Akechi sleep upstairs attic at Leblanc nicely and Morgana in his bed; only to hear something for the big hang to move around to draw in all the young humans out of their homes, with strange string of magic attach to their heads, all out of it completely, and they all walk to their destination of the sound. Morgana hears it first as he senses danger. Waking up to look at the window for three familiar people pas by the cafe. York, Mika, and Troy? Already under the spell worried Morgana to let the two lovers know about it next.
Morgana: (The hell? Those guys and...? A party? No, at this hour, I doubt it. But I hear something off to make my head hurt. With these weird strings on their heads too, like they're being mind controlled by someone, or rather something thing...) Hey! Hey! Madame Keiko! Akechi! Wake up! We got trouble going on tonight.
Poking a little at Keiko's hand from his claws pinch her to get out of bed quickly.
Keiko: Hey! Oh, Morgana. Really? The claw?
Morgana: What? I would never hurt a woman, I just pinch you a little, and now for Akechi-! Meow!
Grabbing his paw, Akechi was already up to look happy and serious again to let Morgana know of his warning.
Akechi: Morgana, please keep using your paws and claws when we're sleeping. Thank you very much.
Keiko: (Smart and yet others take his words very seriously. Akechi wouldn't hurt anyone, he just teaches...others a lesson.)
Morgana places his cat claws back within his paws.
Morgana: Sorry about that...Now''s not the time to talk! Look at the window! York, Mika, and Troy are not themselves or is the other teenagers! The kids, all of them are leaving their homes!
Seeing it themselves, it was serious to walk outside to see the rest while all dress up from their PJ's.
Akechi: He's right.
Keiko: So why aren't others in Yongen-Jaya not seeing or hearing all of this? Hey! Hey!
Trying to yell in their ears or Morgana hopping on top of their heads, nothing was fazing any of the teens to wake up but to keep on walking.
Morgana: They didn't notice me or heard Madame Keiko. This is very serious.
Soon enough, Futaba freaks out to do the same thing and meets up with the other three.
Futaba: Waaaaaah! What the hell's going on? I feel like I'm in a George A. Romero fourth remake of Night of the Living Dead!
Akechi: Futaba, you notice too?
Futaba: Our new games are glowing. They work all normal but the rest is like a sonic wave of pin-point locations of some kind. This is all I can hack into, and yet I don't get it why either. But I know where the main source is coming from.
Leave it to Futaba to hack her way through this type of mess.
Keiko: Then please tell us.
Futaba: We'll follow while I locate it. For now, call everyone. We can't do this alone.
And so Keiko and Akechi get on it while Futaba keeps her computer skills to work while following the sound waves. With the three and Morgana having to walk inside a train with nothing on to all be turned off for tonight; as Ryuji, Ann, Yusuke, Makoto, and Haru all meet up with the others on what's happening to everyone even their three new friends. It was somewhere close in the Shibuya area, so they were getting warming.
Ann: Hey, look!
Ryuji: Holy shit...! This is something out of-!
Now they were all reunited again.
Futaba: Ryuji, I just said it.
Ryuji: Oh c'mon!
As funny as it is to have someone say a line there, it was time to get back to serious matters at hand.
Morgana: Quit it! This is more important than saying move jokes. Look around us, more kids are under someone's control to leave their homes, even those guys.
Makoto: York? Mika? Troy? What's happening to everyone? Is it this Shadow Law's doing?
Haru: Or the video game characters on the loose? This is very frightening right now.
Yusuke: So why aren't we affect but they are?
Well, for one thing was because they're the Phantom Thieves...
Morgana: Hmm...Because of our powers to still have within our hearts. Even to those born with it differently, we're unaffected by all of this and my hearing on odd surroundings like the Shadows once roam around to the real world from the Metaverse has to be it. Rebellion against something from a wicked distortion has to be it.
Futaba: But with others with no powers are sadly controlled like brainless puppets. We're getting close, guys.
So, that's why...
Keiko: I guess it makes perfect sense there, al of it does. (Thanks to Futaba's smarts and Morgana's memories on how things work for us.) And remember what York and the other two said to us? They went to another world to get theirs and be born with it, but not the way we did things. That's why they're not the Phantom Thieves.
Akechi: It still doesn't make sense why Shadow Law's going after the children-! Wait...The noise is getting closer.
Morgana: Yeah, can you guys hear it too?
Staying quiet to listen in, the sound was to be nearby somewhere in Shibuya to look all empty with no people or places open up right now.
Keiko: Yeah, I do too.
Ryuji: I don't hear...! Oh, got it!
This has Ann covering Ryuji's mouth to hear the rest for herself.
Ann: Now I hear it.
Makoto: Futaba, can you pinpoint the main source?
Doing so from her computer, Futaba finally knows where it was coming from. Where the kids were going who were all mind controlled, with the string on their heads, and the sounds to be located at.
Futaba: Hmmm...This way, near the Train Station exit! Let's go!
Running to the destination right away.
Haru: But how can we fight without our powers to activate in the Metaverse?!
Yusuke: I'm not sure. We'll worry about that after rescuing the children and teenagers first!
They might as well do it. Arriving there for the group arrive to the pinpoint without stopping, even though the others did try.
Ryuji: Hey! Cut it out!
Ann: Go back home, please!
Makoto: Don't go to where the sound's coming from!
All of them kept going to be saying this from every boy and girl in the area.
"No. We have to go."
"Don't stop us."
"We must go to Video Game Paradise."
"A new work to be young forever as kids."
"Play forever without anyone telling us what to do."
"To true freedom in Video Game Paradise."
So weird...
Akechi: Video Game Paradise?
Seeing York, Mika, and Troy chanting the name a lot, the Phantom Thieves try to save them first.
Futaba: Hey! It's the 3 Trio! Stop them!
Having Mika fall down, Keiko's touch does the rest of it to saving her from being under a spell.
Keiko: Hey, Mika! Wake up! It's us! It's me, Keiko!
She comes through now.
Mika: Huh? Where am I. What am I doing here in my pajamas? York? Troy?
And what about the boys? Well, Akechi did those two a favor...with a quick slap to their faces. Ouch!
Ryuji: Dude!
York: What the hell?! Huh? Why are we outside? Sleep walking?
Looking around to remember, I think Troy could already tell what might've happened.
Troy: I'm afraid not. We were under the spell of Shadow Law's doing.
York: Ah! Are you kidding me?!
Mika: At least you two are our of it.
York: By slapping us!?
Akechi: Sorry, but it had to be done. Now to stop the sound for the others to be saved.
And it was closer than they thought the location would be...
Futaba: There! It's his doing...Whoa! A giant gloved hand!
Ryuji and York: Holy shit!
Seeing it as well, none other than one of the enemies who work under Shadow Law's orders known as Master Hand.
Master Hand is a hand-like entity who acts as the main recurring boss in the Super Smash Bros. universe. He appears at Final Destination as the final boss of the 1P Game in Super Smash Bros. and of Classic Mode in Super Smash Bros. Melee, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Super Smash Bros. 4, and some fighters' paths in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. He also plays a large role in Adventure Mode: The Subspace Emissary and Adventure Mode: World of Light. Due to his role as a boss, Master Hand is often unplayable barring hacks, though a glitch that allows the player to play as him exists in Super Smash Bros. Melee. The player must bring his HP down to 0 to defeat him. Master Hand's left hand counterpart, Crazy Hand, was introduced in Melee.
Despite appearing in all five games of the series, considerable mystery surrounds the character, due to a lack of sufficient official explanations. However, he is known as the creator of the Super Smash Bros. universe, and in Brawl as the master of the World of Trophies. His trophy info in Brawl implies that he does not use his full power against the fighters, and merely toys with them for his own enjoyment which is further implied in the World of Light mode where in his playable appearance he has more stamina and his attacks being far more powerful than the power of his attacks as a boss. In Super Smash Bros 4, Master Hand is shown to have some connection to Master Core, with the "Swarm" that Master Core comprises appearing from within Master Hand after he has taken enough damage. This link between the two has yet to be elaborated upon in the Smash universe.
Master Hand is playable in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate in a special event battle found in World of Light. Elsewhere and in other games, he is only playable via a glitch in Super Smash Bros. Melee or through hacking.
Master Hand is usually fought on Final Destination, although in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Donkey Kong's Classic Mode instead uses the Ω form of New Donk City Hall, Joker's Classic Mode uses the Ω form of Mementos, and Sephiroth's Classic Mode uses the Ω form of Northern Cave.
Ann: So huge...! How do we stop it...?
Having York's gun out, he makes a stand.
York: Hey, dumb ass! End this madness right now!
Firing off some gun shots at Master Hand to stop and some magic ropes to get cut down, stop the sound and the other kids to stop being under his spell. Tired back to sleep on the streets now, but they'll be fine.
Morgana: Well, that worked. Nice one, York.
York: Weapons of ours, never go home without one.
Mika: And all the children?
Checking on all of them with Futaba's skills...
Futaba: Hearts beating normally, so they're not zombified out.
Ryuji : The hell's that even mean?!
Morgana: Let's take her word for it and know they'll be just fine.
Akechi: And that leaves us with the big hand itself who's responsible for this mess.
Seeing the big hand himself, Master Hand sees the ones who tried to stop them.
Futaba: Ah, no way...! It's Master Hand...
Keiko: Master Hand?
Futaba: Part of the bosses in the entire Super Smash series!
Akechi: Then he must be working for Shadow Law.
Laughing at all of them, this thing not suppose to be taken so likely. Using a light pole to grab hold of and crush to bend it in half was a really bad sign.
Troy: You're Master Hand, are you not? What are you planning to do with these children?
With Mika, York, and Troy having their powers and weapons out but the Phantom Thieves 'since this was the real world'. Mast Hands finally speaks up. He can talk to for he's the same English dub voice actor of the ultimate series who also plays Joker and Arsene in the Persona 5 series. Isn't that funny or what? I just wanted to let you guys know that part.
Master Hand: Halt! Who dares interfere with Shadow Law's goal of a world change?
Ryuji: For reals...? It talks?!
Ann: Of course, Ryuji! It's right next to us!
Close to them as well as it was loud and clear...
Morgana: Hey, Master Hand! How dare you kidnap all these children for your own twisted game on...Ah, ah...well, whatever it is you're doing!
A few seconds of silence happening all over the room.
Keiko: (Please think before speaking, Morgana...) We all know who you are since we were affected by your powers, Master Hand. Shadow Law's goals, the game coming to life, the kids go missing, as well as our three new friends. I find this all wrong.
Makoto: We all do. Stop this right now!
Akechi: About to arrest a giant monstrous hand, Makoto-Chan?
Makoto: I don't want to look like I'm worthless. So excuse me for trying, Akechi-san.
Trying to become a police commissioner is one of Makoto's biggest dreams to soon come true, and against a villain from a video game is a different matter at hand.
Troy: Please don't argue right now.
Master Hand: Hmmm...Other human children who are not affect by my dark powers? I see...Fine, I have other ways to get rid of pest like all of you are to me. No ordinary humans at all, so it's best to play my cards very carefully.
Pulling something else out from the same dark powers, this time they were weird looking gems. With one throw, snapping fingers, darkness flowing all over, and then they morph into odd looking characters of a male shape of a few of them and the same with the female ones too.
Haru: People?
Yusuke: No, they're more like computerize people.
Mika: What are they?
Looking it up again for Futaba remembers this one.
Futaba: Ah...Crap! Crap! Crap! This is very bad...! Master Hand controls and is using them! The Fighting Polygon Team. These kind are from Super Smash Bros. Melee!
Keiko: Polygons? How strong are they?
The Fighting Polygon Team -
The Fighting Polygon Team (Mysterious Small Fry Enemy Corps), also known as Dummy Corps, is a team of purple polyhedrons in Super Smash Bros. who are modeled on the playable characters in the game. They appear only in the single player mode, in Race to the Finish and the "Fighting Polygon Team [vs.30]" battle, the two stages prior to the Master Hand battle. Their shape and name is likely an exaggeration of the Nintendo 64's simple polygonal graphics.
The Fighting Polygon Team is the predecessor of the Fighting Wire Frames in Melee, the Fighting Alloy Team in Brawl, and the Fighting Mii Team in SSB4 and Ultimate, sharing the same original Japanese name with those groups.
Characteristics
Each member of the Polygon Team is modeled after one of the twelve fighters, sharing their target's standard move set and physical properties (e.g. number of jumps). The Polygon Team clones cannot, however, use any special moves, impairing their recovery, and they also cannot grab. Other than that, their characteristics are identical to the Japanese versions of their playable counterparts. They have the appearance of a blocky, shiny purple substance that mostly retains the shape of the target, with various differences:
The Mario and Luigi polygons have elf-like heads, with pointed noses and ears. They appear almost exactly alike, using the same model, but their animations differ.
Ness's polygon also has an elfish appearance, except with a different head shape.
Donkey Kong's polygon has an asymmetrical head and a clear gap where its elbows should be.
Link and Samus's polygon weapons both become triangular spikes; Link's shield is also much smaller.
Kirby's polygon has a large jewel-shaped bulge on its head.
Jigglypuff's polygon has a vertical spike instead of a hair tuft.
Pikachu's polygon has a much thinner head and only a short, stubby tail, causing it to more resemble a Sandshrew or real-life mouse.
Yoshi's polygon has a pointed face and visible teeth, resembling a real-life dinosaur such as a Deinonychus or Velociraptor.
Fox's polygon lacks ears, and the polygon has a thinner tail than Fox's.
Captain Falcon's polygon lacks shoulder pads.
Using their moves of fighting skills to be fast, strong, skillful, and such under Master Hand's orders to crush from street grounds to leave holes in them as well as cutting down the light poles was a sign of bad news.
Futaba: Very strong...!
Morgana: Now you tell us, Futaba.
York: Oh yeah?!
Using his weapons mix in with some powers, for one of them to push back in seconds without looking at it! Shocking to York, Troy and Mika use theirs to do the same thing.
Mika: Not good.
York: But that one had his back turned!
Troy: Our powers and weapons won't work on them like this...! Brace yourselves, everyone!
This was bad to not have these three to not do anything, and the same with the Phantom Thieves with no powers right now.
Master Hand: Now go, my Polygons and attack the rebels!
Snapping his fingers again for the darkness flows through with the Polygon armies of males and females go after the 12 members to make a run for it to not die, or get crushed by their powers.
Akechi: Run away! Now! Keep them away from the sleeping children!
With Akechi grabbing on to Keiko's hand to run really fast all over the train station part of Shibuya, this was a big mess. The enemies go after them instead of the kids in order to keep them al safe from the danger. From there – Ryuji runs really fast for Morgana does to trip and flies on Ryuji's back with his claws attach to his shirt. Ouch!
Ryuji: Ouch! Dammit, Morgana! Get off me!
Morgana: Well excuse me if I didn't see where I was going!
Ryuji: Stupid cat!
Morgana: I'll claw you!
Ryuji: So you admit you're a cat!
Morgana:! That's not the point! So shut up and keep running!
Arguing while running away at a time like this. Even Futaba hides her laptop and makes a run for it, but not for long...Only for Yusuke to save her life. I see them as brother and sister here.
Yusuke: Futaba!
Futaba: Thanks a bunch, Inari! And mush!
Yusuke: I'm not a sledge dog!
Mika and Ann run together as well.
Mika and Ann: We don't wanna die!
Haru and Makoto to throw anything to slow any of the Polygons down.
Haru: They just keep going with no end of their batteries dying!
Makoto: If only we can turn into our Phantom Thief outfits!
Same with York and Troy to try fighting back as much as they could do.
York: Anything is good, just do it already! I don't want to die like this! So not cool!
Troy: All we can do for now is outrun them all until we can gain any type of power to fight back and fast!
Trying to do so, somehow! Master Hand was enjoying the show for the others were done for...But someone or rather two living beings calls out to Keiko for her and Akechi hear them loud and clear.
Caroline: Really, Inmate! Running away now at a time like this?! Sometimes we'll never understand you.
Keiko: Huh? Caroline...? Wait Where's Lava's?
Justine: It's okay. We split up from time to time to save our energy, it happens, Inmate. So there's no need to fear. We're unharmed.
Caroline: And it doesn't look like you are not. Still, we need your help.
Keiko: But we need help right now!
Talking through another world while running away must be very hard to do right now. At least for Keiko and Akechi hear all of this.
Akechi: Wait...Caroline and Justine? Who are really Lavenza from the Velvet Room of the Metaverse? What do they want?
Keiko: To ask for our help, from what we've talk about today and what's happening right now. But we can't until our powers-!
The twins knew what they meant there.
Justine: Right, you cannot fight without your Phantom Thief powers. I understand.
Caroline: Or did we? Heh, but consider this a big team up on what's to come next. So we'll help you guys out. And some new friends along away. Just do this and then we'll talk more later.
Keiko: Our powers are coming back? If so, then please help us out!
Giving a good sign there, it was time to transform with Caroline and Justine to do some re-awakening to the Phantom Thieves' to use their powers in their world and theirs to break balance again. By any means.
Caroline and Justine: Then Ms. Trickster of The World Arcana and Confidant, it's time to move out once again!
Combined together 'even with Lava doing more of the work', the twins powers up the nine members of the Phantom Thieves for their Personas hear their calls to getting to the right location as soon as possible from their hearts. Wow! And hurry before Mika gets crushed by one of the Polygon armies!
Mika: No!
York: Mika!
Rushing to his girlfriend's rescue without thinking...
Troy: Get out of there!
And Troy rushing to his two friends quickly, the rest soon feel it for the power comes back of their masks to transform easily again.
Futaba: So much power...In that's the case...Right! Suit up! Code name – Oracle!
Transforming first to place shields on the children, the other three, and the rest of the group before the Polygons can strike, good old Oracle was back in action. From her and Necronomicon's help of cyber power does the trick.
Morgana: Oracle?
Futaba: I just regain access of powers for the rest of you guys. Now hurry up and transform to place Master Hand's toys back in the toy box where these polygons belong!
Feeling it out, the other six were next to give it a try. With Morgana getting Zorro back, Ryuji with Captain Kidd, Ann with Carmen, Yusuke with Goemon, Makoto with Johanna, and Haru with Milady....now they can transform.
Morgana: Oh right. Guys, it's time to transform! Suit up! Code name – Mona!
Ryuji: About friggin' time! Suit up! Code name – Skull!
Ann: No more running away now. Suit up! Code name – Panther!
Yusuke: Perfection is sometimes key of winning. Suit up! Code name – Fox!
Makoto: It looks like the Phantom Thieves are back in action. Suit up! Code name - Queen!
Haru: It's great to be back again. Suit up! Code name – Noir!
All suited up now, they fight back. For Morgana to drive the polygons over with his power of a car form to run the others down for Akechi and Keiko to be free now. Same with the rest for Troy, York, and Mika were saved too.
Morgana: Beep! Beep!
Keiko: Morgana! Your powers!
Akechi: Then ours are back too!
Incoming other polygons...! However, Troy's shooting skills does the trick to have his powers back, same with Mika and York's punches and kicks too.
Mika: Yes! We can fight back again!
Troy: Just like old times again.
York: Finally. So you guys are the Phantom Thieves, right? Nice! Look, worry about us later. We can fight back! For now, get to changing already!
Saying those words there, it was time to do so for the soon to be husband and wife to do their stuff.
Akechi: Of course. (Good, those three have their powers in check again just like us. In any case...) Princess!
Keiko: Oh. Right, Akechi-Cun, let's go! (Right, now the Phantom Thieves are back in action. Thank you again, Lava-! Ah...Caroline and Justine. We'll talk more later.)
Seeing Arsene appearing next to Keiko and Akechi with both Robin Hood and Loki 'in spirit form' when the other one's not around to aid the others since he was brought back from the dead. Remember that from Strikers? Yeah. So now, transformation time. With the looks of Crow and Joker of their normal clothes, Keiko can use the summer look without the jacket at times to change back and forth; while Akechi can go into his Black Crow outfit at anytime in his control.
Keiko and Akechi: Suit up! Code names - Joker and Black Crow!
Finally happened at last, the Phantom Thieves do their fighting skills to fight back at the male and female armies still charging at them at full force. To Master Hand's surprise to be seeing something like this going on.
Arsene: Ah, my lovely Joker, it's good to see you again. We Personas will aid everyone in this difficult battle which threatens all worlds once again. If you do remember how to fight, then show me everything you go, my dear. Now let's dance!
Power up time! As Futaba powers up the others to do so to take turns attacking! From Morgana still driving and giving Futaba a ride.
Futaba: Foward march!
Morgana: Attack!
Nicely done of a run over there. With Makoto beating up the other ones, Haru using her axe, while Ryuji with his long metal pipe, Yusuke with his sword, Ann with her machine gun, Akechi with his light power of his sword to cut down; and Keiko to use her powers of earthquake shaking moves to push the rest aside...And then with Arsene's help to give Keiko the boost of darkness to finish the job with her dagger in place.
Keiko: Daggers of Darkness! (We still got it!)
Akechi: Now let's finish them off!
It was time for the other three to give it their all. York with his sword, Mika with her kunai knives, and Troy with his gun to get the jobs done.
York: Time to slice 'n dice!
Mika: Take...this!
Troy: Bang.
Woe, they are very good in battle.
Ann: Yes! We did it!
Yusuke: And they can hold their ground in battle too.
The three high five each other on another job well done yet again.
York: Kick ass aiding the Phantom Thieves!
Mika: I think we can do this again.
