A/N: Whew.. okay so I've been gone foreverrrr and I'm so sorry. All I can say is adulthood and life. I didn't want to keep dropping one chapter every once in a while so I held onto them until I made a few chapters. Uploads will now be more consistent, I'll try to do once a week or maybe twice a week. Story is almost done tho so hang tight and please enjoy! Onto the story!

"Hey Beca can we talk for a sec?" Michael said before Beca could run out the door.

Beca looked at the time and nodded before sitting down. "What's up Unc?"

He cleared his throat as he tried to get his thoughts together. "Uh you've been acting different these past few weeks…. You haven't been spending much time with your sister, in and out of the house, I haven't seen Chloe much… What's going on?"

Beca sighed. "I- it's this job I've been doing.. It's really been kicking my ass…"

"Not that I'm not glad that you're working, but you don't really need to be working with the money you already have… So why are you stressing yourself out at a job you don't need?"

Beca shrugged. "You can never have too much money.. I just wanna work I guess. I'll try to be better though, I do miss my sister."

Michael nodded. "What is it that you do anyway?"

Beca's eyes widened. "I uh.. Um I work at like a warehouse and I help package and deliver things… Look I gotta go or I'll be late." Beca said quickly getting up and running out the door.

"Beca.."

Beca stopped and sighed. "Chloe.. Uh hey.."

"Going somewhere?"

Beca nodded. "Yeah I'm kinda busy babe and I'm running a little late.."

Chloe sighed. "We haven't spent any time together since you've been doing this Beca.. It's been a month and I've only spent time with you in school.. I miss you." Chloe said sadly.

Beca nervously bit her lip as she looked at the time. "Babe… I-"

"Just forget it." Chloe said angrily before turning back around and getting in her car.

Beca sighed. "Chloe!"

Chloe just ignored her and drove away.

"Fuck!" Beca said before running to her car and driving off.

"Nice of you to finally join us." PJ said with a frown as Beca walked in the room.

Beca sighed. "I'm only three minutes late, I'm sorry… I got caught up at home… Listen man you're killing me with these hours, I'm missing time with the people I love…"

PJ laughed. "Beca I don't give a fuck about the people you love. In fact I'd kill them without even batting an eyelash, yes including the little one."

Beca clenched her fist. "F-"

"Don't even think about it Beca, I'm in charge here and I won't hesitate to kill anyone.." PJ pulled out his gun and shot one of men in the head. "See.." He said with a smirk.

Beca gasped and backed away. "Dude!"

PJ shrugged. "I was getting tired of him anyway… Now what I want for you to do is to shut the fuck up and do what I say."

Beca sighed and nodded. "Fine.. Let's get this over with."

PJ smiled. "Great!"

"What's going on Chlo?" Jess asked as she walked in Chloe's room.

Chloe sighed and sat on her bed with tears in her eyes. "It's Beca…"

Jess's eyes widened. "What? What happened? Is she okay?"

"I'm not suppose to tell anyone because something really bad could happen but I figured you'd be my best option... "

Jess nodded. "What's going on Chloe?"

"Beca's in the streets again… These guys took Bumper and then they took us and threatened us and forced Beca back in…"

Jess stood up. "What? H-How? H-How long has this been going on?"

Chloe wiped her tears and looked at Jess. "A month.."

"That's why you two have been acting so strange.. Fuck! Do you know the guys name?"

Chloe nodded. "PJ, that's the only name he's given.."

"Okay.. Do you know where they are located?"

Again Chloe nodded. "Yeah, it's in an alley in some old factory."

"We're gonna help her, it's gonna take some time but I'll get her out.. Thanks for telling me."

Chloe grabbed Jessica's arm. "What are you gonna do? I don't want him to hurt her or anyone."

"I'm going to the police and we'll figure something out."

Chloe's eyes widened. "No! You can't do that! Beca said that'd be bad.."

Jess sighed. "I know what I'm doing Chloe, it's a process.. Don't worry I got this."

"Beca let's talk.." PJ said as Beca walked back in after making a deal.

Beca let out a small sigh before nodding and following him to the back room. "What's up PJ?"

PJ sat in his chair and gestured for Beca to do the same. "You don't like me much do you?"

Beca shrugged. "I don't know."

"Don't lie Beca.. Tell the truth.."

Beca rolled her eyes. "I fucking hate you.." She said with a shrug.

PJ smiled and nodded. "Why do you hate me?"

"You pulled me back into something I never wanted to be in and you're constantly threatening the people I love…"

PJ nodded. "So if I lay off the threatening your family and girlfriend will you like me more?"

"I'd like you if you just leave me alone and let me get my life back."

PJ sighed. "I need you Bec.. You're the best worker I've had in a while and I've been getting a lot more buyers since I've had you.. I promise to leave everyone you love alone if you get your act together and be a little nicer to me."

Beca folded her arms. "Less hours too… You're killing my relationship with my sister and girlfriend.."

"Beca…"

"Please! I promise I'll be the best ever if you do this for me.."

PJ sighed but nodded. "Fine… How about you come ten PM to three AM, and I don't wanna hear about curfew, sneak out or whatever.."

Beca let out breath. "Deal.."

PJ held out his hand with a smile. "Thank you."

Beca nodded and gave him a small smile.

"Now we have a big deal coming in, I want you by my side to see how the big dogs do it." PJ said with a grin. "Think of yourself as my apprentice, I'd leave this all to you if anything were to happen to me."

Beca's eyes widened. "Wow.. I don't know man."

"They're here." He said as looked at his phone. He pulled out a gun and handed it to Beca. "These guys are dangerous… I hope you have my back.."

Beca nodded. "Of course."

"Thanks for coming over Chloe.."

Chloe nodded and sat down. "Of course Principal Evans."

"You're practically family, call me Uncle Mike or just Mike."

Chloe smiled and nodded. "What's up Uncle Mike?"

"What's going on with Beca?"

Chloe bit her lip and shrugged. "Nothing…"

Michael sighed. "She's different, and you're not coming around like you used to…"

Chloe nodded. "Her job is really demanding.."

"Is that it?"

Chloe nodded.

Michael sighed but nodded. "Okay, why don't you stay for dinner. That way you can spend some time with Bec when she gets home."

"Will you please…" Riley said as she walked in the room.

Chloe smiled and nodded. "Sure, why not."

"I was hoping it wouldn't have to come to this.." PJ said with a sigh as he pulled out his gun.

Beca's eyes widened. "What the hell are you doing?" She whisper yelled.

He looked at her briefly with a smirk before looking back at them. "If we can't work out a plan I'll have to kill you…"

"Come on guys, we gave you a good deal… Just agree on it!" Beca said pleadingly.

The man scoffed and pulled out his own gun. "I feel like we could find a better deal somewhere else."

Beca sighed. "But what about the quality? We've got the purest of the pure, I promise."

The man quirked a brow. "How do I know you're not lying?"

Beca shrugged. "You don't, but we make great sales and people always come back for more, how about we take off an extra hundred final offer, that's how sure I am…"

"That's sounds cool." The man said with a nod. "You've got yourself a deal." He said as he held his hand out.

PJ looked at Beca with a smirk before shaking the man's hand. "Alright, now get out of here." He waited for them to leave before looking at Beca and laughing. "See what I mean?"

Beca quirked a brow. "What?"

"You're perfect for this job, and once you get used to it you'll love it…like me." He smiled at Beca and gestured for her to follow him as he began to walk. "When I first got in the game I was a lot like you."

Beca laughed. "You wanted to kill the guy that forced you back in?"

PJ grinned and nodded. "Absolutely, I hated his guts… but then we spent time together and I learned from him and here I am today.."

"And where is he?"

PJ sighed and looked at Beca. "Dead… there was a crazy deal and I had to kill him. He made me kill him."

Beca's eyes widened. "Deep.."

"I'd do the same for you, you know.. If a deal ever goes wrong and the only way to save you is for me to die I'd tell you to kill me."

Beca nodded. "Well hopefully it never comes to that…"

PJ laughed. "And hopefully you don't try to kill me before then.."

"I'm not a killer.."

PJ nodded. "Everyone's a killer, in the right moment." He handed her a wad of cash. "You keep that, go home… and be safe." He said before walking away and disappearing into his office.

Beca sighed. "What a day…"

Beca walked into her house with a small sigh. It was a long day and she was ready to just go to bed.

"Beca!" Riley said with a grin. "Chloe's here for dinner! You came just in time!"

Beca's eyes widened as she walked into the dining room. "Hey babe.."

Chloe gave Beca a small smile. "Hey.."

"I know it's dinner time, but uh can we talk real quick?" Beca said, looking at Chloe.

Chloe nodded and followed Beca up the stairs. "What's going on?"

Beca sat down and grabbed Chloe's hand, pulling her onto her lap. "First, I want to start off by apologizing to you.. I've been a crappy girlfriend and I love you for putting up with me and my bull.. We haven't been spending any time together and I know it's taking a toll on our relationship. But.. I have good news." Beca said as she pressed a kiss to Chloe's neck.

"What's the good news?"

Beca smiled. "I had a nice talk with PJ and he's gonna lighten up on me."

Chloe nodded. "What does that mean?"

"It means he'll stop threatening the people I love and he changed my working hours meaning you and I can have more time."

Chloe smiled. "Really?"

Beca grinned and kissed Chloe. "Really baby, I've missed you."

Chloe crawled on top of Beca and kissed her. "I missed you too… a lot." She said with a small moan as she lightly grinded on Beca.

Beca laughed and flipped them over with a smirk. "A lot, a lot?" Beca asked as she kissed down her neck.

Chloe down and guided Beca's head lower down her body. "Please Bec."

Beca grinned and unbuttoned Chloe's pants. "I-"

"Beca! Chloe! Come on I'm hungry!" Riley yelled.

Beca laughed and placed a small kiss on Chloe's stomach before getting up. "Sorry for getting you all riled up.. Can you stay tonight?"

Chloe let out a small groan before smiling and nodding. "I gotta let my parents know first but yeah."

"So Beca how was work today?" Michael asked as they all ate dinner.

Beca shrugged. "Stressful but relieving at the same time. I had a good talk with my boss and we worked some things out… I'll be around more." Beca said as she looked at Riley with a smile.

Michael nodded. "And everything's good between you two?" He asked, gesturing to Beca and Chloe.

Chloe smiled and nodded. "Everything's great."

"Hey Bec, now that you'll be having more free time maybe you can finally start showing me how to mix." Malcolm, Beca's younger cousin, said happily.

Beca nodded. "Sounds good Malc."

Lisa looked at Beca with a warm smile. "We've all missed you, I'm glad you'll be around for more than the morning and then going to sleep."

"Yeah me too."

"How long have she been working with the man?" A police officer asked as he wrote in his notepad.

Jess let out a small breath. "Um about a month.."

"Can we talk to your friend about secretly working with us?"

Jess shook her head. "She won't trust it and she's afraid something will go wrong if police get involved, we need to work on this alone and then I'll try to ease her into the idea of working with you guys."

The police officer smiled and nodded. "Sounds good, thank you for your input, we'll be in touch."

Beca made a deal with PJ and things could be getting easier.. But now the police are getting involved.. What do you guys think is gonna happen next?
