A/N: Yo you all got me back for another round. So dudes hoping to see another two one shots get uploaded sometime next month. Again sorry to the dudes who asked for them and them taking so long. Honestly my classes weren't the biggest problem work has crashed on me. Due to people not really like two of the day managers and well leaving. So its kind of a shit show at work right now even with me working on my new schedule. Still have hope going into the summer and hope you dudes like the update. So now reviews this time ok dudes hope to see a review later.
Lets see what's prowling in the night of space.
Mid Rim Luminara's POV
One board my cruiser I honestly can say the Nevlian warriors have caught the troopers attention. Their tribal ware as well as the pension to constantly spare with one another has led to the troopers sitting in the watch during their free time. However Ahsoka has told me that they have a unique connection to the force.
One that I have seen to great affect. With odd hums they guide one another in various lighting conditions to strike at targets. As well as to avoid arrows shot at them.
Their agility almost matches someone that can tap into the force. Even at a weakened extent however it's what they say when the tap into this skill that surprises Ahsoka and I.
They call it Inner heat in honor of the constant fire that they see Jagger as.
I turn as a bridge officer says "General we're getting a hail from General Kenobi. He says he needs support in protecting a world from a Separatist invasion close to our sector."
I nod to say, "Alert all hands of our jump and the coming battle. We must be swift in helping Master Kenobi."
The trooper salutes as I move to find Ahsoka. I find her meditating in her provided quarters but her emotions are off balance. I say "Young one calm yourself we will find Jagger."
Ahsoka sighs to say "Master what worries me is that we'll lose him. You say from your visions he was hurt but somehow he was happy to be fighting. I'm worried that Jagger will fighting because he enjoys the violence of where ever he is."
I sigh to sit next to her. I say "Ahsoka you must remember this Jagger is merely under our protection. He isn't a Jedi from childhood like most are. He is like a Jedi of the days of the old Republic.
"When we accepted any who had a connection to the force. At that time we even allowed our first Mandalorian Jedi. But his life amount us has been a sheltered story.
"Ahsoka Jagger is a fighting he was raised to fight anyone he saw as his enemy. At one time we were his peoples enemy as well as the Republic. But now the Sith want him and as the very last of a species taught to have been killed by the flaws of the Republic. We must do what we can to help him even if we must allow him to settle somewhere we cannot always be at."
Ahsoka nods as I tell her we must get ready for battle. Reaching the battle we find Master Kenobi's ship already in the heat of combat with two smaller class cruisers to help him.
The Admiral from master Kenobi's cruiser tells me that the ground troops need support. Ahsoka and myself board a transport but to my surprise the Nevlian warriors join us.
With their odd lances in hand and thick oval metal shields the lead warrior says, "We will aid you as we see fit master blade. But this war is not truly our cause." I nod as the transports take us down to the planet. But my mind feels a disturbance close by.
Third persons POV
As the battle above the small world continues a medium sized transport drops out of hyperspace. Cloaking its approach the occupants of the ship ready themselves. The pilot says "You know the plan kill and capture quickly we must not leave any witnesses. That goes for you most of all little one.
"The elders are not pleased with your failures. And another will be your end."
Stepping forward from the shadows is the same purple skinned Twi'lek that Jagger fought before. She exhales her eyes burning with anger as she grips her lightsaber.
She says "The Jedi and the republic will fall their arrogance is a fleeting light in the darkness."
Another besides her smirks to think 'The ideals of a child not seeing the bigger picture. And still clouded by jealousy. I wonder why lady Kress choose someone like this as her apprentice. But I can tell she will fail again.'
Down on the planet master Obi Wan and Luminara are holding the front line. Deflecting blaster bolts the two coordinate trooper fire. While Ahsoka and the Nevlian warriors help the pink hue skinned humanoids of the planet evacuate to safe distance.
As the Sith land Obi Wan and Luminara sensed their dark side alignment. The pilot says to the last leaving Sith "Remember they are expendable but you must return with the knowledge we seek."
The hooded Sith nods to say to the two others "Young one find the Padawans and kill them. Young barbarian you and I will find the masters."
The heavily armored Sith nods as he follows the other Sith. The Twi'lek runs off seeking the smaller of the force signatures on the planet. Ahsoka stops as she turns to face away from the crowd she is aiding.
Looking off into the distance Ahsoka feels the dark side growing ever closer. The rage of the person coming closer as she watches the debris filled streets.
A trooper says "Commander we've just received work from general Kenobi he says the droids are falling back to hold a defensive line. Our fighters are also still unable to provide air support."
Ahsoka nods but as she turns a trooper screams. As the screams fill the streets one of the Nevlian warriors turns to point her lance at a building. Ahsoka says "Troopers I need a squad over looking that building. Be ready to provide any aid you can give us."
Ahsoka looks to the Nevlian warriors as they nod to follow Ahsoka into the building. The dust and bomber raid damaged building has a layer of dust floating about its rooms. As the orange light of the sun fills the room Ahsoka can feel the rage of whoever is inside.
The young Sith says, "I was expecting that bastard prince my master took interest in. But you and these primitives are no substitute where is he?"
Ahsoka growls to say "He's busy Sith scum come out and we'll show you how skilled we are."
The Sith Twi'lek laughs to say "Typical so arrogant it makes me sick. The force favors those who control in not those who give to it. And we the true Sith have remained powerful for that reason!"
From behind a standing beam the Sith lounges at one of the Nevlian but she angles her shield. Making the Siths slash arc across the thick metal leaving a burned gnashed across it.
Two other Nevlian raise their lances and to the surprise of both the Sith and Ahsoka. Thick threads of fire erupt from two tubes along the wide section of their lances.
Dodging the flames the Sith jumps but as she reaches a destroyed wall. Another Nevlian jumps from behind the wall aimed at the Sith. But she uses the force to throw the warrior away. But before the Sith could strike the daze Nevlian the lead Nevlian and another work together to stab and slash at the Sith.
Dodging and weaving the Sith growls in frustration. But quickly leaps to another level as another arc of fire tries to hit her.
Ahsoka looks at the group of warriors to contact master Luminara. On answer Luminara says "Ahsoka where are you there is a wild Sith hear cutting into the troopers."
Ahsoka explains her situation and Luminara tells her to retreat and wait for her and Obi Wan. But that she and he must first deal with the barbarian Sith at their location. The lead Nevlian says "If we allow this evil one to collect itself we will be at a disadvantage in the night. WE must strike now."
Ahsoka agrees radioing the clone troopers watching from the building across to shot the purple skinned Twi'lek the moment she tries to flee the building.
At the other end of the city the clone troopers with the two masters fire as the twin axe wielding Sith barbarian hacks into their ranks. His speed is like that of a force user as his axes dig into the white armor of the troopers. In a large swing the barbarian cleaves through not only a troopers blaster but also his forearm.
In another arc of his other axe the barbarian takes off the same troopers head. The clones firing try to group their shots to put down the Sith fast. As the bolts hit the barbarians armor he roars a battle cry that startles the troopers.
Obi Wan and Luminara feel the dark side rich cry. The Sith is using a force scream calling onto the dark side to boost his senses as well as weaken the moral of the troopers.
Thinking fast master Luminara sits at a good distance to begin using battle meditation. Extending herself with the force Obi Wan and the troopers feel the Sith war cry lessen but still remain present.
Obi Wan along with several arc troopers advance. Commander Cody close by coordination suppressive fire to help have several jetpack troopers get to higher ground to take pot shots at the barbarian.
Obi Wan lightsaber clashes with the barbarians axe. The barbarian smiles to say, "Finally you come Jedi. Soon me become great marauder and me kill many more Jedi and weaklings."
Pressing his attacks Obi Wan sticks to his style deflecting and wearing down the barbarian. Powerful strikes clash with Obi Wans blade as the barbarian roars to try and demoralize Obi Wan. But Obi Wan keeps his footing controlling his breathing as his continues to ware down the raging brute.
Little does it know that Luminara is fight back its force screams but still feels the rage of its connection to the dark side. Side stepping the large brute Obi Wan takes a jab at its shoulder then a quick swipe at his calf.
The barbarian grunts shaking off the hits to taunt Obi Wan for his weak attacks.
But more blaster bolts hit the barbarian distracting him and allowing Obi Wan to take more jabs at its defenses. Over looking the fighting from a buildings shadowed interior is the last Sith. The Sith contacts its pilot to say, "The elemental is not here I'm moving to the young one position."
The pilot asks "And what of the barbarian?" The Sith says "He's outclassed his wounds will take him before her even lands a good blow on the Jedi master he is fighting."
With speed and agility the Sith jumps and phases through pieces of debris. Yes much like the Dark women of the Jedi this Sith also appears to possess the ability of force phase.
After twenty minutes the Sith finds the younger Sith. But doesn't contact or interacts with her. Listening from the shadows the Sith hears what needs to be heard.
Phasing out of the building the Sith contacts the pilot. Once onboard the pilot punches in the coordinates back to their homeland. The Sith says, "The Jedi are failing to see things clearly... We now have only to wait for a hint of his whereabouts maybe. But even then they will no doubt find him before we do."
The Pilot asks, "So what do we tell the elders to continue to wait? That slaver queen has already caused enough stir just being in the capital."
The hooded Sith says, "So long as we update the elders they will deal with her. For now we know something else... The Jedi fear him like those of their old order."
Bellit POV
The nerve of these filth mercenaries. Not only do they invade our territory they kill one of my pilots and steal from us. Still Nassies says the Mandalorians with her will gladly aid if it means pay and faster passage.
So far we haven't received word from the scouting party that they sent. Turning an alarm blares as one of my communication officers says, "Ma'am we just lost Logi unit one no unit two signal was just cut... Ma'am all three Logi snipers signals have been lost."
Another officer tells me that Nassies scouts are returning and asking for medical aid.
Looking at the screen I see the somewhat damaged ship of the Mandalorians. The gunners cockpit smashed and show scorch damage. Along with its second engine spewing a trail of smoke
After three hours the Mandalorians stabilize their wounded and I find out what happened. My Cogi stealth fighter managed to recover the black boxes to two Logi.
I transmit the video to Nassie ship and the Mandalorians. I'm shocked the ship that the snipers are firing manages to make instant turns. Evading being hit by the powerful particle beams of the sniper Logi.
Over the radio comms you can hear music and from what Petty officer Lorenz reports it's no doubt the same thief. As my bridge officers work they isolate a still image of the ship in question.
The ship has four large tubes like modules all are sporting dual short burst energy canons. But with added thrusts and deflection shields.
The ships arrow like frame and short back wings making it nearly a missile in space. And the odd main back thrusters it has is releasing some kind of high quality particles.
My second in command says "Ma'am I've seen this ship before during the time of second human outer rim wars. Back then the Republic didn't meddle in all the wars in the galaxy. That is a Mobius zero the ship was designed for fast space combat.
"Hit and evasion tactics is its battlefield. Ma'am we honestly have no ship or powerful enough beam canon that can hit that. And from the modifications on it that thing is outfitted to take abuse even if we do hit it."
I look to my second in command asking him what to suggest?
My second says "We need to take out its shields to do serious damage. But no doubt they took out our snipers so they can push and destroy us. Ma'am we have little options right now but we must call for reinforcements."
I sigh nodding but still hating to call my sister at this time. After my short talk with Yellit I announce over the ships comms saying "All hands action stations. All pilots are to be assembled and outfitted for combat this is not a drill. Second I leave the tactics of this battle to you."
My second in command nods as he talks with Nassie about coming over to be briefed. But still I look at the image on screen even though the ship is old. Just like many old weapons they can still stand firm against some modern weapons.
