Dan 10 Reboot S2 Ep 11: Fear the Fogg
Intro:
A green glowing, steel pod was flying through space, hurtling towards earth as it crashes, making a huge green flash.
The camera zooms out from the glowing symbol on the Ultimatrix as Dan looks up close at it.
He then activates it while smirking at the camera, raising his hand high and slapping it down on the core.
The background turns all green as Dan morphed into Four Arms, who pumps his upper fists while cracking his lower ones with a smirk.
A white number appears on the left side, starting at 1.
"Dan 10!"
2: Heatblast generates fire around his feet, making a ring of it as fire balls appears in his hands
"Dan 10."
3: XLR8 zooms around and screeches to a stop
4: Diamondhead stomps his foot to make pillars of crystal appear as he turns his arms into blades and crossed them.
"DAN 10!"
5: Cannonbolt rolls in and stops, uncurling with a grin and thumbs up.
"Dan 10!"
"Dan 10."
6: A shadow figure shows with a question mark on it
7: Grey Matter leaps off the number and cross his arms with a smirk.
"DAN 10!"
8: Water Hazard rides in on a wave and whips at the screen with his water while firing his other hand upward, making it rain.
"Dan 10."
9: Wildvine lands on his vines as he holds out his seed bombs with a grin.
10: Big Chill phases through the number and made his ice armor fist, smashing them together and zooms near the camera.
"DAN 10!"
Big Chill's head turns back into Dan's as it rotates.
The camera zooms out to reveal Max, Hotaru and Kate by his side.
Dan gave a fistbump to his grandfather as Kate and Hotaru hugs each other.
The 2 then ran off-screen, making Hotaru turn into Sailor Saturn as she twirls her Scythe and taps the bottom on the floor as Dan and her shares a smile at each other.
He then smirks at the camera along with the 11-year old girl as he holds up his Ultimatrix as it glow brightly as his Ultimate aliens appear besides the 2.
The Rust Bucket was driving down the road, on it's way to it's next stop. Max spoke to the children, along with there newest tag-along, Hotaru. "Shouldn't be long before we reach the 4 Corners, kids. If we're lucky, we can make it before sunset." "I don't get it. What's so important about this '4 Corners', that is important?" Hotaru asked out as the girl now sports a purple long-sleeved hoodie with a white tank top underneath, a dark blue skirt with dark blue shorts underneath, and black/white sneakers and for some strange reason, her eyes are, for some reason, now brown and her hair is all black instead of purplish/black.
"It's an important part of our country, Hotaru, because it's the only spot in which 4 of our 50 States, touch each other, sharing a part of their lands. Since the states are really big in a person's perspective, it's really rare to able to stand in all 4 States at the same time." "Kate…" Dan points out behind his sister with a frown. "When we brought Hotaru along with the trip to teach her to open up and have fun, I didn't mean bore her with nerdy, science facts." "I'm trying to get her up to speed with our world and time period since hers is so different then our, doofus." Dan frowns out at the comment as the girl giggles at there sibling bickers, having grown accustomed to them after a few days.
"Well.. I'm glad to be around people who I can really trust." Hotaru smiles as the others smiles back. "Of course… I don't see a dangerous being, I see a little girl who never had friends before." "Besides, we're partners! And awesome Superhero partners, shouldn't be all gloomy and mopey. They should be ready to kick butt and look way cool doing it! Yeah!" Dan fist pumps as he threw some karate chops with a grin as the girl laughs.
Kate then noticed Grandpa Max was slowing down. "Grandpa… Why are we slowing down?" "Because of this fog. Seems strange to show up, but better be careful." As the RV heads into the cloud covered area, the group of 4 can't help but feel unease. "Anyone else getting strange vibes from this, or is it just me?" Dan points out the window. Hotaru also gazes out and shivers lightly. "I don't know… But there's something not right about this fog. It's as if… Dark magical forces are at work." Kate comments with a raised eyebrow. "Okay. My brother, I can just brush off as paranoia. But a girl from a magical world? Maybe it is unnatural." "Ether way, I better slow down, just to be safe." Dan gazes at the Ultimatrix and smirks, unbuckling his seat as he walks back. FLASH "Dan?" The 11-year old asked out as they all glanced back at a smirking Heatblast, climbing to the roof.
"Time for Heatblast to blaze a trail!" He chucks a fireball, only for it to be put out in the mist. "Weird… Oh well! Time for auto-fire!" He blasts a ton more of fireballs and smirks at the results. "There… That should—" He was stunned when the fog lets out a screeching sound as his flames were put out as well. "Since when can Fog make roars?" Something whizzes by him as he glances around. "What?! Who's there?! Hello!? There's something off about this fog." He quickly went inside as he times out. "Guys! Tell me you heard that roar!" "It wasn't hard to miss." "That feeling I got? It's back and now worst, everyone." Hotaru whimpers out as she got a bit worried. "I admit the roar was unsettling, but there's noting to be scared of a cloud." Kate spoke out as Dan widens his eyes at something in front. "Then, why does this cloud have 2 large glowing eyes?!" The group screams as Max steers out of the way, revealing to miss a car. "No strange creatures in the fog, Dan. Just a reckless road hog!" Max glares out at the car that almost hits them. "I remember being scared of unknown things when I was little. You have nothing to worry about." But as Max looks at the mirror, he saw the car was lifted up by the clouds themselves. "What the?" "What's up Grandpa?" A THUD got there attention as the RV stops.
"What was that?!" Dan asked out as Max ponders. "Maybe we blew out a tire." "Possible…" Hotaru ponders out. "Well… We need to figure something out. If a couple of us go out and check the tires and the roof, maybe we can continue. Like, 2 kids with superpowers." Kate spoke out as Max and her glances at Dan and Hotaru as they both got the message. "Great… Well, Time to Sailor up, Hotaru." "Got no choice in the matter." She spoke out as she stands in the back and took a deep breath. "SATURN POWER, MAKE-UP!"
Her right hand's nails flashed purple as her body became a starry, purple cosmic sky silhouette as her clothes disappeared. She holds out her right hand as her Scythe forms, twirling it as she spins around as her symbol flashes on her forehead. Her leotard forms on her as purple ribbons of light forms her gloves and boots. Her skirt appears in a flash as her earrings and tiara is formed from it. The Final additions are her hair changing into her blackish with purple, her eyes turning purple, and she now has purple, see through goggles with black leggings that goes to her upper thighs. She poses as her planet appears in the background with her symbol glowing.
"Okay! I'll check the roof." She spoke as she collapse her staff to forearm length as the blade disappeared, attaching to her back. "You know, I still find it cool that you have now have the ability to change your hair color, eyes and have goggles, Sailor Saturn." Kate spoke out, impressed with her new look to hide her identity better." "And I'm glad you have some leggings as well, You're only 11. And you're not ready for 'the talk', yet." "Comments aside, since Upgrade is still gone for some reason, I'll just make this quick!" Dan slaps down on XLR8's icon. FLASH
Ultimate XLR8 steps out as Sailor Saturn got on the roof. "Okay! This tire is good. Good… Good…. And good! Find anything up there?" "Nope! No damage…" Saturn ponders as she looks all over. "Weird… What made all the ruckus if the tires and roof are fine?" U. XLR8 Crossed his arms in though. Only for cloud to yank him by his tail as he cries out. "Dan?!" Saturn cries out as she lost him.
U. XLR8 bounced into the middle of the road. "Uggg… At least I stuck the landing…" "just then, the same noise as before cries out, making the evolved speedster glance around. "Hello?! Who's there?! Hotaru!? Kate?! Grandpa Max?! This isn't funny, even for my standards!" He glances around and until he saw 2 yellow lights. "Ohh! Must be the Rust Bucket. GUYS! I'M OVER HERE!" He cries out and waves as the Headlights blinks in response….. wait. "…Uhh? When can the Rustbucket blink it's headlights?" The 'lights' then spins upward and shot a cloud tendril, making U. XLR8 speeds all over the place and dodged them as he retaliates with his arms blades, slashing off some, but they just form back. "Wha? How did it—" Suddenly the orbs forms a giant cloud body as it leans in and roars loudly with a mouth it made, making the alien hero cries out. "Hotaru was right! This fog is a freaking monster!" He zips off, managing to lost it and found the Rust Bucket after a while, timing out, he breaths heavily on the side as he bangs on it "Guys! Let me in!" The door opens as Dan runs inside to give the 4-1-1!
"And it has glowing yellow eyes like fog lights! And these cloudy tentacles that smashed solid rock! I tried to cut them, but they just keep growing back, over, and over! Then it roared at me and ran here as fast as I could! What I am saying is… THERE'S A LIVING FOG MONSTER OUT THERE!" Dan panics while flapping his arms out as Kate spoke out. "Sheesh! Overreact much? Look around, Dan. There's nothing out there but, fog, fog, and more fog. And… A Gas Station?" "Good! Maybe someone there can help." But as Max said that, something shook the Rust Bucket. "What was that?" Sailor Saturn asked out as Dan exclaims. It's the fog monster! It must have followed me back here!" An other thud as Max glances out the windshield, only to exclaims. "JUMPING JELLY BEANS!" The Fog Monster picks the RV up and roars loudly, making the group of humans scream in shock and surprise. "Hang on, kids! I'm going to use these new Hi-beams!" He activated more lights, blinding the beast as it drops the Rust Bucket. "Gun it, Grandpa!" Dan cries out as Max floors it, taking off. "That was close!" Dan breaths out as Sailor Saturn ponders and realizes. "Wait… you don't think that monster is what set off my Sailor Senses, earlier?!" "Probably..." Dan places his finger on his chin in thought.
They stopped at the Gas Station and ran out, finding the place abandoned. "Looks like no one has been here for a while." Max spoke out as the kids noticed some writing on the wall. "Looks like someone was here, and left a message." Kate spoke out. "'Fear the Fogg'? And they spelled Fog with 2 g's." Dan points out as Sailor Saturn spoke out. "You don't think 'Fogg' Is the name of that monster, is it?" "Well, looks like this place is the best option to hide out for a bit until we come up with a plan." Max points out as Kate points at the building with her thumb. "I think I saw a open door on the other side of the garage." The 2 went to the other side as Dan spoke out. "You 2 do that! Once the watch is recharged, I'll go alien and me and Sailor Saturn, just in case the 'Fogg' comes back." Dan leans his left hands on the sign as Sailor Saturn spoke to the older sibling and elder. "Be careful, you 2. This creature is nothing like me or the Sailor Scouts ever encountered, before." Suddenly, Dan's Ultimatrix surges blue lighting as it travels upward and lights it up.
"Oops." "Dan! We're suppose to hide, not show ourselves.' Sailor Saturn said as Dan waves it off. "Don't worry! I'm sure it didn't even—" Suddenly, a snarl got there attentions as Max forced the kids up against a wall as they saw the Fogg went by us. "It just passed us." "That's weird…. It didn't even noticed us at first." The 11-year-old ponders. The Fogg chomps on the sign, absorbing the energy as it roars with lighting in it's mouth. "Did you see that?! It just got bigger from eating that power!" "It must feed of energy!" Kate deduces as Sailor Saturn grips her scythe and charges. "Let's see if it can eat this!" Swinging it, she sends out an energy wave that merely passed through as the beast roars out as thunder crashes in the sky. "Note to selves: Magical girl powers does not work on cloud monsters!" Dan spoke out as they all went back into the Rust Bucket and took off. The beast chases after as the Rust Bucket swerves to avoid it's crashing tendrils. "Keep going! It's after the Rust bucket!" "I don't get it! if it's after electricity, why is it going for our RV?!" Dan cries out to her partner as Kate figure out. "It's battery! It want to use it to turn into an electrical storm!" Max chuckles as he pats the dashboard. "Well, the battery on this old gal is pretty beefy! Look out!" The RV spins once before driving straight. "Hang on!"
Sailor Saturn glances at the monster and spoke out. "We need to stop this thing! If it's destructive and powerful as just clouds, imagine how strong it will get when it becomes a living storm?!" "She's right! We need to take this thing down before it becomes charge up to wreak havoc on the entire western coast!" Dan notices his watch was charged as he grins. "Sweet! Hero time!" but as Dan cycles through his aliens, he realized he has no idea which one to use!" "Which one do I use?! I can't punch it, slice it, or blast it!" "But you can overfeed it! Since Fog is just water vapors, use Water Hazard to force more water until it's too heavy!" "Never tired that before… But who am I to argue with?" FLASH
Barnacles grew all over the boy as his eyes became watery. His arms became liquids until red armor covers them up, making them fire blasts of water from there palms as he grew his hood and exoskeleton armor, making him spin and pose.
"Okay! Fogg!" Water Hazard declares as he and Sailor Saturn were on the roof "Let's see if you can handle a little heavy rain!" The beast bellow out as it lashes out it's arms as Water Hazard opens fire, dissipating them as he cheers out. "Yeah it work! I'm a genius!" "What?! No! I'm a genius!" Kate cries out from the window. "Dan! Focus on the beast!" 'Right!" Water Hazard fires more water, hurting the monster as Sailor Saturn leaps upwards and made her blade glows, slashing through the beast and scattering it as Water Hazard uses a water Whip to get her back on board. "We did it! Splashdown!" "Great job, you 2!" Grandpa Max cheers out as Water Hazard pumps his fist in victory, but Sailor Saturn wasn't sure as she notices the clouds. "I don't think it's over." "Why?" "Suddenly the beast reforms and roars as the girl cries out. "That's why!" "Gahh! We owned it, too soon!" he cries out as he was suddenly knocks onto the side as he hangs on. "Dan!" Sailor Saturn cries out to her partner and fiend as she finds herself surround by cloudy claws as she fight them off.
Kate and Max noticed some fog was seeping into the RV. "We need to de-fog this thing, quick! Or we're cooked!" "Cooked? Grandpa, that's it!" Kate cries out as she uses the heat to get rid of the fog. "Nice work, pumpkin!" "Now we just need to get Dan and Hotaru to do the same." Water Hazard leaps up and saw Saturn was struggling In some tendrils as Water Hazard slices them off. "Thanks…" "Don't mention it! Now we got to stop Mist Mouth!" Saturn glances back at the beast in concern. "Guys! You need to use heat!" Kate cries as Water Hazard shouts back while fighting. "But I used Heatblast, he didn't work!" "No! The source of everyday heat!" "Everyday heat… Wait! Saturn! Are you thinking what I'm thinking?!" The girl widens her eyes in realization. "Of course! The Sun!" "Which means we need to use that new move you learned!" Water Hazard rolls forward and fires at a tendril as Saturn leaps back and spoke out in concern. "But Dan! You know I could accidentally hurt someone. And I just learned it! I'm not sure I'm ready…" "But you got to!" Max spoke out. "Dan's right, kiddo! You can't let your self-doubt and fear get in the way of helping others. You need to have the self-confidence in the good side of your powers, instead of just focusing on the bad stuff. That what makes a hero." Kate cheers out. "You can do it, Hotaru, believe in yourself!" The girl smiles at her new friends and nods. "Thank you… everyone."
Water Hazard grabs her as he asked. "Ready?" She nods with a determined look as Water Hazard throws her high up and uses his water jets to boost her up more as she forces her powers into her Scythe as she cries out. "Silence Hurricane Spin!" She cried as she spins her body like a top as she stick her blade out as her body glows, creating a magical whirlwind that blew away most of the cloud covering, exposing the sun to Fogg as it notices and look up in shock. "Do you see the light, Fog brain?" The beast cries as it broke up in pain while Sailor Saturn stop and falls, making Water Hazard leaps up and nabs her, bring her to safety. "You okay? '"Yeah… But it's gong to take some getting use to spinning like that." She smiles out. They saw the beast has been completed evaporated as the fog lifts away, making them both hi-fived in victory, only to noticed some strange trial of sparking magic flying up where Fogg was. "What is that?" The trail disappeared into the sky as Sailor Saturn adds out. "Was that?"
They both got in as they turn back to normal. "Way to go, you 2! I'm proud." "Actually, Hotaru finished the beast, I just distracted him for a while. "Gee… Thanks." She blushes in a shy manner at being awarded most of the credit. "Still, that move you pulled off was rather good! You're really learning Hotaru." "Thanks. It's only because I have people who supports and believe in me." She smiles as the Rust Bucket head towards the Four Corners, only when Dan got there, he was not excited as he thought and face palms at his grandfather, running around the 4 states as Hotaru giggles at the Tennysons. But she can't help but wonder: What was that strange trial of magic they saw after Fogg was defeated? And where did it come from?
