Dan 10 Reboot S2 EP 15: The Krakken of Lake Everfree

New Intro:

The screen is black, only for a bolt of green lightning to makes a flash of white light as upbeat music is heard. Side-by-side via split screen Dan and Hotaru stands, smirking at the camera as a black with green bubbles background is on Dan's side as Black with purple stars was on the girl's. They both raised their left/right arm, and both transforms as Dan emits a flash of green light while Sailor Saturn thrust her scythe high as black lighting surges through it.

"DAN 10!" "He's a kid and he wants to have fun!"

Wildvine grins with hands on hips as a close-up of his face appears on the background while Sailor Saturn is next to him as a bolt of lightning comes down.

Heatblast flies across and freezes as the same thing happens to Four Arms, leaping out of an explosion.

"But when you need a superhero, he gets the job done!" "DAN 10!"

Shock Rock smashes his fists together, sending out waves of electricity as Sailor Saturn channel energy into her scythe and slashes at the 4th wall..

"With A device that he wears on his arm." "He can change his shape and save the world from harm!"

Dan poses with his Ultimatrix, just as headshots of Shock Rock, Water Hazard, Big Chill and Wildvine show up, one-by-one.

Cannonbolt was staring at Grey Matter, who hops along a bunch of platforms with the watch symbol on it as the round alien was confused. "When trouble's taking place."

Sailor Saturn was then running towards the screen. "He gets right in it's face!" "DAN 10!" Four Arms, Heatblast, XLR8 and Diamondhead's headshots shows up as well!

A green circuit board background is shown as 5 ultimate aliens shows up in a row as Dan was staring at the left side. The aliens are Diamondhead, XLR8, Cannonbolt, Four Arms, and Heatblast. "When lives are on the line."

The same thing happens with Sailor Saturn staring at the right side. The aliens are now: Big Chill, Water Hazard, Grey Matter, and Shock Rock, which is still in normal form. "It's hero time!" "DAN 10!" It ends up with Dan and Sailor Saturn, posing together as the aliens were side-by-side with them as well.

"Cannonball!" Dan cries as he plunges into the lake in the middle of the night. The kids were only a couple of days away from finishing there trip to Camp Everfree and Dan decide to do some night swimming. With him is the girls and some campers. They were all enjoying some great swim time before turning into bed. "Ahhh… No villains, no evil magic. Just a nice relaxing break." Kate sighs out from the dock as Hotaru nods as she gazes up at the peaceful moon. "Usagi…." They were suddenly splashed by Dan as he spoke. "Come on, you 2! Try some night swimming. It's really cool!" "Not in the mood, Dan." "Besides, I don't want to know what kind of disgusting bacteria is swarming there. I rest my case." Kate smirks as the face Dan gave.

"Okay!" Gloriosa cries out as she spoke. "It's almost time for bed, swim time is over." Some groan as they went to get out, only for Dan, being the last one out, suddenly struggle, as if something Is pulling on his leg. "Hey! What's… Happen… Gah!" He was dragged down as bubbles surfaced. "Very funny, Dan! We're not falling for this! It's just another one of my brother's pranks. Don't panic." But as Hotaru approaches the bubbles, Dan didn't surface, making her worried. "Dan?" "Why hasn't he surface yet?' Sunset spoke out in worriment. As the group carefully peers down….

SPLASH "RRRRROOOOOOOAAAAAARRRRRRR!" A giant, kelp covered monster emerges from the water, roaring out as the group screams in terror. The counselor dropped her flashlight as it shines light on the beast, revealing… A grinning Four Arms covered in seaweed. "GOT YA!" "DANIEL TENNYSON!" Kate roars out as they all gained frowns and angry looks. "Haha! I can't believe you all fell for it! You should see the look on your faces! It was priceless! HAHAHAHAHA!" He holds out his hands for a hi-five from Hotaru, but the girl looks at him in mix of sad and anger as she turns and runs to her cabin as the alien scratches his head. "Must be tired." "You doofus!" Kate yells out as she went after her while the others left.

The alien wipes the rest of the seaweed off as places his hands on his hips. "Sheesh… it was just a joke. These guys have got to lighten up. But still, can you imagine? 'A monster in the lake' How dumb can you be?" Just then, bubbles were being formed in the middle of the lake as Four Arms notices. A giant shadow with 2 tentacles rises up and towers over the alien, who widened his eyes in shock. "Me and my big mouth." One of the tentacles grabs him and tosses him farther into the water, making him splash and surfaces, gasping for air. He looks around, only to be grabbed and dragged down.

He struggles to break free, only to see a big blue eye staring at him. He gasps in shock as the monster's head was as big as him. He quickly broke out and rushes back to the surface. He breaths deeply and heads towards the cabin.

Kate, Hotaru, Celestia and Luan were sleeping in the beds when Four Arms opens the door and sticks his head in, painting for breath. "I was just attacked… by a giant lake monster!" "News flash! You already did that." Sunset answers as she tosses a pillow at him. "But I'm not kidding this time!" "Stop, Dan." Hotaru mumbles out as she turns away. " 'Yawn' Jokes over! Go to sleep." Luna responds as turns in her bed. "But…" "Enough. Good night." Celestia responds BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP FLASH Dan picks himself off the ground, still clad in his trunks, and mops. He is upset that no one believes him, even if he was telling the truth.

The next morning, the group of 5 were heading down to the dock as the 2nd to last day of camp begin. "But I'm telling you, this thing was big! Bigger then even Vilgax! It has blue eyes that were big and tentacles that comes out from it's mouth! Come on, Hotaru, back me up! We've seen somethings." But the girl merely huffed as she looks away. Dan was not sure way his new friend won't talk to him, only to noticed a fishing bucket filled with worms, getting an idea. He shoves a handful of it in front of Kate, making her scream. "Breakfast? It's got lots of protein." "Not now, dweeb!" She stomps away as Dan chuckles out. "Well? What do you think, Hotaru? Pretty funny, huh?" But the girl narrows her eyes even more and walks off with her arms crossed, making the boy scratch his head in confusion.

Dan was later on a boat out in the middle of the lake with Aunt Celestia and Sunset, as he decides to talk about his issue. "And then Hotaru just got angry and left! I don't get it! I thought she would laugh at the pranks I pulled." "Dan… A prank is only funny when It's light-hearted and everyone likes it. Your pranks are mean and hurtful and scary. The opposite of funny." "Sunset is right, Dan. There's a time and a place for a practical joke. But the prank you pulled was not light-hearted fun. But that of a mean spirted bully." Dan frowns as he looks down in the water in thought as he thought about the prank from last night. "I guess, I did go overboard with it. I just wanted to show Hotaru another amazing thing about childhood: pulling pranks for laughs." Celestia smiles as she places a comforting hand on his shoulder. "And I'm sure she will understand if you talk to her about it."

Dan smiles as he looks back, only to widened his eyes at the sight of a shadow in the water. "What was that?!" "What was what?" "The monster! I saw it!" Sunset sighs out with a dead look. "Dan… are you sure you're—" "Look I'm telling you 2! I saw it!" They then heard a noise as they all glanced to see a huge shadow from under the surface heading towards the docks. "It's heading towards the docks!" "And all the campers along with it!" The teen and adult cried in horror as Dan realizes something else! "HOTARU! KATE!"

"Aahhh… This is nice and quiet! No Dan to bug me! Just some rest and relax. I feel totally calm." The teen sighs out as she sat on the edge of the boardwalk with Hotaru, enjoying some alone time as she stares at the lake while other campers were getting ready for some lake activities. Just then, she herd the trio shouting from the middle of the water, but couldn't understand what they are saying. "If Dan thinks we're falling for this, then he got another thing coming." "And I'm still not talking to him until he apologize. And nothing else will get me to speak to him." The 11-year old looks away with closed away.

Suddenly, The beast from last night burst out, smashing the dock, and sending the girls flying into the lake. The monster is a giant, bipedal creature which was specified to live underwater. It has four webbed legs and a tail with a fin. It has two tentacles coming out of her mouth which act like two extra arms. It has blue eyes, golden teeth and six gills on her neck. It upper part of her body is dark cyan, while the lower part is olive.

The beast roars loudly as all the campers screamed as the counselors were shocked. Kate surfaces and stares at the beast in fear as Hotaru was stunned beyond belief. "THAT is not Dan!"

"Oh, NO! The monster is going to eat everyone!" Sunset cries out as Celestia spoke to her nephew. "You can apologize to your friend, later. Right now, someone has got to save those people." Dan nods and dials towards Water Hazard's icon as he smirks. "Water Hazard to the rescue!" Dan dives into the lake, slapping on the watch to transform. A green flash of light came from the water as Dan burst out, only he was not Water Hazard. "Hey! I said Water Hazard! Not XLR8! Stupid watch!" He groans out. XLR8 notices that the girls are swimming as the monster was going after them. "Here goes something!" The alien then runs as fast as he can, breaking to the surface to run on it.

Hotaru kept swimming as the Krakken was about to eat her. Just then, a blue and green blue speeds by, grabbing Hotaru in a bridal style as XLR8 heads towards the shore. He sets her down near a log as she coughs. "You okay?" "Yeah, thanks for the save." "Listen, about last night—" "Apologize later. Right now, you got to help the camp." XLR8 nods zips back for his sister, bring her to safety as the Rainbooms help get the campers to safety.

The beast smashes a table as it knocks down some trees with its tail as Gloriosa runs up to it. "MRS. KRAKKEN! STOP! WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?!" The beast roars as it's tendril was about to slam down on the woman, but XLR8 grabs her and runs away, zipping back to spin a tornado underneath the beast's head to knock it back into the water. It roars out and uses it's tentacles to smash the alien, as he kept dodging out of the way. It then notices the boat house and rips off the roof, grabbing a crate. "No you don't!" XLR8 speeds towards the appendage and unleashes a bragger of super-fast jabs, making the Krakken let go as it screeches from the sharp claws. As it lowers it's head, the cat alien zooms under and super kicks it's jaw at mega speed, making the Krakken dive away and went back into the lake. "Yeah!" He then hissed out as he felt dull pain in his legs. "You better run!" "What was that?" Hotaru asked out as she watches the monster disappear as Sunset and Celestia reaches shore.

At the counselor office, The Rainbooms, along with Dan and Hotaru and Kate were talking to Gloriosa about the monster. "Gloriosa... I know with the whole 'Gaia Everfree' event that you are trying to atone for your actions." Rarity starts out as Rainbow Dash finishes. "BUT WHAT THE HECK?! Why didn't you tell us there was a monster in the Lake?!" "Well… Umm…" "That big fella almost ate the whole camp, just as we got to fixing the new dock for the 4th time!" "Actually, I think it was 5th." Pinkie points out as Twilight counts and nods in confirmation.

"I told you all! That was thing that attacked me last night! Which means I'm right, again! Yeah!" "Okay… We get it, bro… Now we believe you. Now we need to figure out why that thing attacked us." "It's because she was looking for something." Fluttershy spoke out as all eyes were on here as she meekly adds in. "Umm… My Geode lets me translate those growls and she was upset because she thought we humans took something from her." "If that thing thinks we're responsible for something that humans did, we need to go out and investigate." "NO!" The woman cries out, startling the others as she calms down and walks out the door. "Look. I appreciate that you're all willing to look into to this. But this something Timber and I need to do, on our own. It's… It's complicate, okay." She closes the door as Hotaru spoke out. 'Anyone else picking up the feeling that she knows the 'Krakken' as she called to her, on a more personal level?" The others respond with conforms and yes as Twilight spoke out. "We need to talk to Celestia and Luna." But as they went to talk to them, the sisters responds to them. "Maybe you and the others should sit this one out, Sunset. It seems like Gloriosa and Timber wants to do this on their own." "Indeed. In situations such as this, It's best to leave it experts."

"Experts?! Who better to catch a monster then a guys with a monster buster on his wrist?!" "Or a team of Magic powered girls?!" Rainbow adds out as Luan was stern. "I'm afraid this is going to have to be the one that got away. And that's final." Dan and Rainbow frowns out as they all look at each other in response.

As Dan was staring up at the night sky in thought, alone on a rock, he was so in his thoughts, that he didn't noticed Hotaru approaching. "Dan…" "Oh! Hey, Hotaru…" The girl joins the alien boy as they both gazed up. "Listen, Hotaru. About last night… I'm sorry about the whole thing with Four Arms. I just wanted to show what a really cool prank looks like, but I went a bit overboard. I guess you hate pranks, huh?" "No, Dan. It's not that." The girl looks at Dan with a sad look. "it's because you hurt me because I thought you were gone. I thought I lost my new friend with just Kate and your Aunts t keep me company in your world. I was scared that I lost one of my dearest friends forever." Dan realizes it now as he looks down in guilt, feeling awful because he hurt his new friend and partner because of a stupid prank. "Hotaru… I'm really sorry about what I did. I swear I'll never scare you like that again. Promise." The magical tween glances at the boy for a long time and smiles, hugging him as he hugs back. "I forgive you, Dan. Good night." She said as she left, leaving the boy alone as he smiles at making up to his dear friend, looking back out, only to noticed Gloriosa and Timber were getting a boat ready as he raises an eyebrow. "I wonder why there so concern about this Krakken? Only one way to find out." He quickly sneaks after them.

The boat kept going until it stop in the middle of the lake. 'Okay. Her nest is down below. Let's get the suits ready." Timber spoke to his siter as she nods, pulling out diving suits as Dan peaks from a cargo hatch he snuck in as Grey Matter. As they put on their suits, they had dived into the lake, making the boy steps out. "I wonder why there taking a night swim in diving suits? And what's this 'nest', there talking about?" He glances around to find a spare suit and smirks. He puts it on and dives in, swimming after the sibling in a safe distance as they didn't noticed. They kept this up until they came across a large nest that looks like it's made out of crunched up wood. In the middle of it is a fleshy-looking orb. "That's odd... There's suppose to be 2 more eggs here!" "Something's wrong. Let's head back to the boat and figure this out, sis." Daisy nods and swims upward with him as Dan went to examine the orb. "Egg? This is an egg? For what?" He glances around, only for him to realization. "The Krakken!" He quickly swims up as well.

The siblings broke through the surface and heads towards his boat, noticing a high-tech speed boat parked next to it. As they climb onto there boat, they was pulled and tossed aboard by some masked man in silver suits. "Don't you know night swimming is dangerous, you 2?" One of them said. "Look, man. We don't want any trouble, okay? Me and my sister we're just diving for amusement." Dan surfaces and notices the scene, keeping quiet as he spies on them.

"We didn't steal anything from you as well. If that is what your impaling." Daisy adds out as they was restrained. "AAhh… That's where you're both wrong. What we want is information, like what did you see down there?!" "Nothing. Right, Timber?" The man nods in response. But the masked man slugs they both of them out cold in response, taking off his mask to reveal and man with brown hair and matching goatee with black eyes. "Well, I have to be sure."

Dan widens his eyes and tries using the gauntlet, only for it to still being charging from using Grey Matter to sneak aboard the boat earlier. "Come on, work! Please?!" "Take the tree huggers here back to the Cannery to find out what they know!" Dan looks to see the siblings being dragged onto the speed boat as the man taps on a device. "We'll come back with the Mini-sub and snag the rest of the eggs!" He tosses the tracking device into the water as it beeps and sinks down to the nest. He then throws an explosive on the Everfree boat. "In the meantime, I think there boat sprung a leak." The bad guys sped away as the boat explodes, making Dan dives underwater as he avoids the blast. He then surfaces and saw the wreckage sinks while the speedboat zooms away. He then checks his watch, only to smile as it glows green with Big Chill's icon selected. "It's hero time!"

As the motorboat was zooming across the lake, one of the man notices something in sky behind them. "Is that a bird?" "Naw, looks more like a plane." The leader looks up to see Big Chill flying above them. "It's a moth! Man the harpoons!" "Give it up! You're totally busted!" 2 of the man fires a barrage of lasers at him, only for the alien to dodge and freezes them with his ice breath. But the leader retaliates by flipping a bunch of switches and pushes a button, deploying the barrel charges. Big Chill phase through the water blasts and freezes them, making him fire twin ice beams from his hands that froze the water in front of the boat, making the man quickly turns around. He then tries to use his blaster, but was destroyed by a ice beam. "You're outpowered! Stand down or you're going to a beaten popsicle!" He made his ice armor in response as the man looks back at the Krakken's fins. "It's getting too crowed! Dump the trash overboard!" He gestures to the tied up siblings as they were tossed overboard, making Big Chill swoop down and grabs them, bringing them up above, just to see the bad guys got away. "Dang it!" He flew back to camp.

Meanwhile, Kate was looking for her brother as Twilight and Sunset got out of there tent and noticed. "Kate? What are you doing?" "Looking for Dan. He's not in the Cabin. Did you 2 see him by any chance? He went down to the lake to think on his own, last I checked." "Well, we didn't see him ether. He must be around here somewhere." Big Chill was making his way back to the tent area as he spoke out. "Almost there…" Only… BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP "Oh, no! Not now!" FLAH "AAAHHHHHH!" The 3 crashed into the bushes behind Twilight and Sunset's tent as the girls went up and check on them. "Dan! Are you all right?!" Dan pokes his head out as he groans. "I hate it when that happens."

As the sisters, Kate, Hotaru, Twilight, Sunset and the counselors were with Dan in the Cabin, Sunset asked out. "What's going? Why were you 2 tied up?" "Well…" "Might as well tell them the truth, sis." Daisy nods in response as Timber explains. "Okay… The Truth is, we know the Krakken because our Grandparents were the ones who found her. But she's not really evil! Our Grandparents befriended her when our parents were teens. Sometimes, when Gloriosa and were kids, we sometimes go out to the middle of the lake at night and dive in to meet up with the Krakken." "She's usually nice and only eats sea creatures. And sometimes, we both watch over her eggs when she's out. But we couldn't let the whole world find out about her! They'll try to hurt her or the babies." "So, the Krakken is a mom?" Twilight points out as Dan spoke out. "Which is the reason why the Krakken attacked earlier! I saw these 2 sneaking off and went after them and saw the nest with the Egg in it. But after that, I saw this group of men that were interested in the nest as well. The Krakken was upset because those guys were stealing her eggs!" "But… Who was that man Leader you spoke of?" "Maybe I can help." Kate pulls her laptop as her brother explains the man's facial features. "Okay… he has black eyes, white skin, and reddish brown hair with a matching goatee. Oh! And add in animals as well, in case of hobbies and interests." The girl types them all in and found something.

"Got a match! His name is Johan Melville and he's interested in animals, but in the way Fluttershy likes them." She then shows the man along with a few photos of him, hunting and capturing animals. "He's actually an illegal hunter that travels around the world, hunting down and capturing all sorts of rare and endangered animals. He then ships them off and sells them to rich people on the black market. The CIA has been after him for a while." "I heard about this man! There were some arrest warrants out for him in a few countries, but always managed to slip away, just when the authorities close in." Luna spoke out.

Dan ponders at a certain word. "'Ships?' Wait a minute! The box the Krakken tried to steal from the boathouse!" Hotaru gasped out and said. "You don't think the Krakken mistook it for her eggs because Johan is using a same method?!" "Which means, Johan is probably going to steal the last of the eggs and sent them off, tonight!" Sunset comments as Dan nods in determination. "We got to stop them and help the Krakken! They mention a 'Cannery'. Is there any nearby?" "Well… There is one a few miles down the river. But it hasn't been used in quite a while." Daisy spoke out with a finger on her chin.

At the Cannery, A crane hoists Johan in a humanoid Mini-Sub out of the water as one of the man roils a container with an egg in it. Johan hands another egg to one of the men, as he stumbles a bit with the weight. "Careful! Or you'll be cleaning up the world's biggest omelet!" The man places the egg in as the container seals up. Johan eyes the eggs with greed as he pats the glass. "After we sell this babies to the highest bidder, we'll be kicking back in a beach in the Bahamas."

Meanwhile, the group of 9 were underneath on a boat. "You guys see if you can find the eggs." "What are you doing?' "I'm kicking some poacher tail." Dan smirks as he clicks the gauntlet to Water Hazard's icon and slaps down. FLASH

Dan's arms become armored and barnacled as the rest of his body went through the same thing as his inside became water. He grew his hood out as he posed, only to change into Ultimate Water Hazard as he clicks his claws.

Suddenly, the Krakken burns out from nearby, toppling the boat and sending U. Water Hazard into the water as it burst through the wood, screeching at the poachers. "The bigger the Krakken, the bigger the payday!" Johan ran to his sub as his minions open fired, but didn't affect the Krakken due to her tough skin. A few of the goons ran inside as the others got swiped off by the beast, who was about to grabbed the eggs when Johan swoops in and snatch them. He then fire a burst of blue bolts from one of the weapons on the sub, unaware of U. Water Hazard propelling through the water as he tackles the sub and slams it into the crane, glaring at him. "Hey, pal! You want to mess with sea monsters? Try me on for size!" The alien blasts water at him and kicks the container off. It crashes and breaks open, leaving the eggs to bounce towards the edge, unarmed as U. Water Hazard drops to grab them, only to struggle with Johan as they got into a grapple, just as the evolved alien uses his rocket to push him back.

While there was a rumble outside, the others were sneaking through the warehouse, shuffling along all as Luna gestures to stop. She and Celestia looks through the doorway to see some of the goons getting bigger weapons. The older adult then whispers to the others. "We'll spilt up and surrounded them. Catch them by surprise." But unknown to all of them, the other minions was climbing up from the water through another ladder. They pops through a trapdoor in front of the group and points their weapons at them. "Freeze!" The other minis noticed and joined them. But Hotaru steps out in front and declares. "Put down your weapons and surrender! Or I'll use force to hurt you!" The men merely glanced at each other and then burst out laughing. "Very well! I warned you. SATURN POWER, MAKE-UP!" She turns into Sailor Saturn and twirls her scythe above her head, stabbing the blade into the wood as it sent out an energy burst that destroyed the flooring the men were on, sending them crashing into the lake with screams. "A bit showing off, don't you think?" Sunset smirks out as the 11-year old merely shrugs with a smile. "Guys!" Timber cries out from a room. "I found the rest of the eggs! All 5 of them!"

Back outside, Johan was about to grab the eggs, when the Krakken's tail scoops them up and brought them closer. "My eggs!" Johan cries out as he scoops the eggs away, only for U. Water Hazard blasts him away and propels himself, grabbing the eggs and diving towards the water. "There not your eggs!" He dives down, trying to head back to the Krakken's nest, only to get blasted from above by laser bolts and then smashed down as the eggs were let go. The eggs were sinking as Johan slams U. Water Hazard to the Lakebed and starts punching him while he's down. "Rescuing babies. Really heroic! But not very smart!" He mocks as he raises both arms up, only to get blasted off by U. Water Hazard's cannon as he uses his Aqua Jet Attack to send him flying. He then grabs both eggs and activates his jetpack, swimming at high speeds. Johan follows and tries to hit him with his weapon claws, but U. Water Hazard dodges and slices it off as well. "What's the matter, Jonah? Feeling disarmed? Aqua Kick!" He then double kicks the poacher away and speeds towards the nest as the Krakken follow after him. U. Water Hazard gently places the eggs down in it, making the Krakken gaze in wonder as she stops. "It's okay, Mrs. Krakken. I'm here to return what's yours." The alien assures as the Krakken made a low growl as a thank-you. Johan was rocketing towards the eggs, but U. Water Hazard has had enough as he swirls around, creating a massive underwater tornado that sucks the man in as he screams. The evolved alien then uses Aqua Jet with a spin, giving more power as he smashed into the chest of the sub, breaking it in half as Johan floats in the water. He then noticed the Krakken and pulls out a knife and tries to stab her, only for the blade to snap on contact as he looks in shock. The Krakken then goes back to her nest as U. Water Hazard taps on his shoulder, making the man glanced back to see the alien swung his claw at him and it was lights out!

Ultimate Water Hazard hangs the man on a piece wood on the surface. "You can hang out here for a while. But don't worry! The police already got a nice, dry cell ready for you and your buddies." Ultimate Water Hazard then jets up as a police boat starts to arrive, turning back into Dan as he lands near the others. "Good riddance to bad rubbish." Luna mentions in disgust with crossed arms as Sunset comments. "Great job, Dan! The Krakken's eggs are safe, and it looks like she won't be attacking anything in the future!" "Thank you all, for helping us again! Mrs. Krakken will be so thrilled that her babies are safe and sound. "You're welcome! But still, is it okay If I do some harmless studies on her and her eggs? I'm really fascinated." "I don't, Twilight. You're going to have to ask Mrs. Krakken." Timber answers out. "Well, I'm sure she is very thankful for us." Kate comments out.

"Hey, Hotaru. I'm sorry about scaring you. I was just trying to teach you how make a prank. I promise from now, my pranks will not hurt anyone, deal?" The girl looks at the hand and smiles out.
