Dan 10 Reboot S2 EP 16: Dance Bounty
New Intro:
The screen is black, only for a bolt of green lightning to makes a flash of white light as upbeat music is heard. Side-by-side via split screen Dan and Hotaru stands, smirking at the camera as a black with green bubbles background is on Dan's side as Black with purple stars was on the girl's. They both raised their left/right arm, and both transforms as Dan emits a flash of green light while Sailor Saturn thrust her scythe high as black lighting surges through it.
"DAN 10!" "He's a kid and he wants to have fun!"
Wildvine grins with hands on hips as a close-up of his face appears on the background while Sailor Saturn is next to him as a bolt of lightning comes down.
Heatblast flies across and freezes as the same thing happens to Four Arms, leaping out of an explosion.
"But when you need a superhero, he gets the job done!" "DAN 10!"
Shock Rock smashes his fists together, sending out waves of electricity as Sailor Saturn channel energy into her scythe and slashes at the 4th wall..
"With A device that he wears on his arm." "He can change his shape and save the world from harm!"
Dan poses with his Ultimatrix, just as headshots of Shock Rock, Water Hazard, Big Chill and Wildvine show up, one-by-one.
Cannonbolt was staring at Grey Matter, who hops along a bunch of platforms with the watch symbol on it as the round alien was confused. "When trouble's taking place."
Sailor Saturn was then running towards the screen. "He gets right in it's face!" "DAN 10!" Four Arms, Heatblast, XLR8 and Diamondhead's headshots shows up as well!
A green circuit board background is shown as 5 ultimate aliens shows up in a row as Dan was staring at the left side. The aliens are Diamondhead, XLR8, Cannonbolt, Four Arms, and Heatblast. "When lives are on the line."
The same thing happens with Sailor Saturn staring at the right side. The aliens are now: Big Chill, Water Hazard, Grey Matter, and Shock Rock, which is still in normal form. "It's hero time!" "DAN 10!" It ends up with Dan and Sailor Saturn, posing together as the aliens were side-by-side with them as well.
"To the right! To the right! To the left! To the left! Now up! Now up! Bring it down! Spin it around! Wash that car like you mean it! Come on!" Pinkie chants as the Rainbooms, along with Kate and Hotaru were washing cars. It has been a couple of days since the 2 girls got settled into the Principal sisters' house and were getting along with the Rainbooms. Right now, they were doing a carwash to raise money to make repairs to Camp Everfree from when the Krakken smashed it. "Okay! Rinse cycle!" Kate cries out as she and Fluttershy sprays water to wash the soap down as Rarity and Hotaru blow-dries it. Finishing up is Pinkie and makes the truck sparkle. "Thanks, Big Mac!" Rainbow thanks the driver for the money as he drove off. "I never experienced a car wash before back home. Is it always this wet?" "Yep! And that's another part of responsibilities keeping your possessions clean." Kate spoke to her friend as they all went for a drink break. "Hey? Anyone seen Twilight lately?" "Or my brother?" Kate adds to Rainbow Dash.
"Here!" Dan cries out as he rushes up to them, carrying a bunch of money. As does Twilight with a box. "Here as well! I was just going over the numbers again." "Well, you better double check because I made a ton of cash from my side of the car wash!" "Really? But how did you managed to…" Hotaru then noticed the charging Ultimatrix and sighs out. "Let me guess: XLR8?" "Yep! Used him to clean of a bunch of cars in a snap! The people were so impressed." Kate voices out her thoughts. "Dan, I'm not sure it's a good idea to use the Ultimatrix for trivial things such as this, now." "Kate's right. Using your powers for everything isn't a smart idea." "Aw, come on! No one saw me. What's the big idea?" Twilight answers as she adjust her glasses. "The big idea is that if your continued use of the alien device strapped to your arm is unchecked, people will grow suspicious and start tracking your movements to your point of origin." "What?" Dan raises an eyebrow as Applejack answers. "it means if you keep using your powers, people will start getting suspicious." "Oh, relax! What kind of loser would spend his time, looking for a 10-year old?"
But unbeknownst to them, a figure was watching from the shadows of the trees, using some hi-tech binoculars to spy on Dan and the Ultimatrix. It then took out a disc and made a hologram appeared. "Have you found the child?" "Indeed. His constant use of the Ultimatrix lead me to him." "Good…. You remember your assignment." The holograms shuts off as the figure's 'eyes' glows. "Let the hunt begin."
Dan has come out of the bathroom as he dusts his hands off, unaware of a laser blast missing him as the boy didn't even noticed. As the kid makes his way to the Music Room, he is unaware of him avoiding a few traps as the figure grunts in annoyance. As the boy enters, he asked. "So… any other ideas for the money?" "Well, Rarity got this idea for a Dance Music Video that will provide with more then double the money if we win!" Kate answers as Dan grins out. "Sweet!" "But… if we lose, we'll start all over and fail. It's a bit risky." Hotaru adds out as Sunset spoke. "Risky, yes. But we did some risks before. We're not letting one stop us now." "Great! Hey! I'm going to grab some lunch; you fellas want anything?' But as Dan opens the door, he was stunned at a large, imposing figure!
The being is 8ft-tall and really fit. He is covered in red and black with grey and sliver bodysuit. He has spikes on his waist, toes, knee pads and wrists. He has grey claw gloves and bone ornaments as shoulder pads and a chest plate with a rib cage as well. He lastly has a black and silver helmet with looks like a monster with a single, 'v' shaped red eye. "Hello, child." He grabs Dan by his shirt and yanks him away and slams the doors. "DAN!" Kate cries out as they all went to help, only when they opened, they were suddenly encased in a bubble as they tried to scream, but no sounds came from them! Sailor Saturn tries to cut it, but was surprised when the bubble shocked her off! Even the Geodes were no good as well! "Sound proof and Mana resistant insta-sphere. It will wear off in a half of an hour. Plenty of time to bring you back to my client, boy." "Who are you?!" Dan struggles to break free. The being retracts his helmet to reveal his alien face! He has pale greenish skin, with shrunken red eyes and his body suit covers his head, exposing his face. He has gills on his cheeks and his teeth is fused to his large jaw. "Introductions? Very well. I am Khyber the Huntsman. I believe you meet some rivals of mine: Six-six, Krabb and Tetrax." "The bounty hunters?! Wait! You're a bounty hunter as well!?" "Actually, I'm a 'Big Game' hunter. Bounty is more of a side job. I took down many exotic and dangerous prey, traveling planet to planet. A shapeshifting human, able to defeat Vilgax, is quiet the unique challenge to me. But a pity. I thought you would put up more of a fight." "Oh, don't worry!" Dan slams on the Ultimatrix, knocking away Khyber as Wildvine grins out. "I'll be sure to give you a workout, man!" Khyber grins out, finally getting a fight as Wildvine leaps up and lash out his legs, making the alien hunter dodge and cuts them with his sword.
Wildvine regrows them as he stretches his fists and punches Khyber out the school, giving the alien to burrow into the dirt. "Using the Floruana to conceal yourself, clever. But I anticipated it." He pulls out a device and drops it down the hole s ending out an explosion that send Wildvine flying high and crashing down in the forest. "Ohh… Definitely didn't expected that." He groans as he rubs his head, hearing Khyber approaching. "Going to need a plan B! Hellooo…" He then fuses with the tree, camouflaging himself as the hunter passes by, looking for him. Wildvine grins out as he climbs up to a branch and chucks his seed bombs, exploding near Khyber and sent him on his back as Wildvine grins out. "All right!"
Dan manages to burst the bubble as Kate hugs him. "Are you okay?" Soon, several questions were asked as Dan cries out. "Relax! Totally knocked him out with Wildvine's seed bombs! We won't be seeing that hunter freak for a while." Dan assures as they all left, but Hotaru and Pinkie stayed behind as they both can't help but shake the feeling there being watch. "Don't be so sure, child." Khyber whispers as he watches from the trees as they left the building. "The hunt is not over yet, it's just beginning."
As Dan manages to watch the Rainbooms rehearse in their different dancing outfits, while Kate and Hotaru helps out with Rarity, he can't help but feel like Khyber is watching him. "It's probably in my head." As Rarity left to deal with a tear in Rainbow Dash's jacket, Khyber watches from the rafters, deciding to sperate his prey from his friends. Spotting the spotlights, he gets an idea as he whips out his rifle blaster and fire at them, sending them crashing down as the girls were stunned as they dodged, making them rushed out of the auditorium as Dan tries to follow, but was stopped by round device that produced an energy shield. "What the?!" He was then yanked back and onto the floor as he gazes up at a grinning Khyber, cracking his knuckles. "Now… where were we?" Dan quickly rolls out of the way as the hunter's fist smashed a dent on where he was. Dan then ducks under another strike as he quick activates the Ultimatrix. FLASH Khyber was smacked into the bleachers, making him glanced up at Four Arms as he glanced at himself. "Okay… Was hoping for Diamondhead, but this will do!" He grins and runs at Khyber, who took out hi-tech knuckle dusters and slips them on, activating them as they spark red electricity. Four Arms swung out with his fists, but the hunter dodges and delivers some jab that actually hurt him! Making the hero realized those knuckle duster increases his punch power. Four Arms then did his sonic clap to push Khyber on his back as he quickly grabs him and swung him out the window. "Sweet! Set a new distance that time!" He leaps out the window, landing outside the school on the soccer field. Khyber then leaps up and delivers a double hammer blow as Four Arms blocks it, making the alien pushed the hunter off. He then spots some baseballs from a nearby shack and starts chucking at Khyber, knocking Khyber back.
Both foes then rushed at each other, ready to collide with each other as Four Arms did his quad upper cut that smashed Khyber high and far that he crashed into a warehouse. "There! Hopefully that guy gets the message." Four Arms spoke as dust his hands off and walks away, unaware of Khyber slowly recovering, due to his armor protecting him. He took out a syringe with a glowing blue substance and stabs it into his arm, sighing in relief as he felt his wounds heal. "Always come with a nano-healer. It looks like I'll have to make one last attempt at Tennyson. But maybe I should change up my strategy." Khyber mumbles out as he made his way up to the rooftop and activates his binoculars, spotting the Rainbooms and Kate and Hotaru as Dan spoke to them and left. "And I believe I know how."
Dan has decided to get some food from the local diner to calm him down. "There's got to be a way to get Khyber to back off from me. But how?" The boy chomps down his burger as he heard voices from behind. "It's no use, Sour Sweet. Why are we even trying?" "Because the deadline hasn't passed. We can still come with an original song, to replace the Sapphire Shores one we've been practicing with." Dan glances back to see 4 girls around the same age as the Rainbooms, wearing uniforms that looks like it could be from a private school. "It's highly unlikely." "Why did we tell Rarity that we already submitted our video?!" "So we can still use her concept!" Dan was surprised as he kept listening. "Rarity is creative, she'll come up with something else! But we don't, we'll have nothing! And imagine what our classmates will say…" "They'll say it's our fault that the End of School year Dance will held in the boring auditorium instead of a yacht, like we promised!" "Exactly." "So, those guys are in a money problem, just like the Rainbooms! Hmmm…" Dan snaps his fingers as he gets an idea. He writes down a message on a piece of a paper and made sure it fall onto the table behind him, quickly leaving the place as he leaves some cash as the 4 girls noticed the paper and reads it.
Dan makes his way towards the school as he spoke out. "Hey, guys! I figured out a way to win the dance contest!" But as the boy entered the gym, he was stunned to see the Rainbooms, Kate and Hotaru in an energy box, imprisoned as they kept trying to break out. "What happened?!" "Simple, Mr. Tennyson." He glances back to see Khyber leaping down from the rafters. "I figure that since fighting you, head on, didn't work. I decide to use some… low-handed tactics. I'll release your little friends IF you can beat me in this last combat. If you win, I'll leave, but If I win, you come with me to my client. And don't try anything to free them. That there is a Conductiod Energy Cell Box, designed to deliver nasty shocks to anyone pounding on the wall, and guaranteed to reflect energy blasts of any frequency back to it's owners." Dan glares out as raises his fists. "All right! Khyber! When you mess with my friends and family, it's payback time!" "Choose wisely, Mr. Tennyson. Your next transformation, will be your last." Dan frowns, only to noticed his surging Ultimatrix as Shock Rock appears. "Shock Rock? Good idea!" FLASH
Rocks starts crawling all over Dan's legs as they engulf his body, turning him into a statue with 3 blue holes for their eyes and mouth. In a burst of lighting, Shock Rock appears.
Khyber's eyes widened in surprise at Dan's new alien. "A Fulmini?!" "Hey, Khyber! Time for a taste of your own medicine!" Shock Rock cries out as he fires energy blasts as the hunter barely dodges them. Shock Rock then threw some electric punches that manages to hit Khyber. The hunter shook his head and narrows his eyes, drawing his sword as Shock Rock made his own and clashed blades with him. While that was happening, the 4 girls from the diner arrived only to be surprised at what is going on. "What? What's going on?!" One of them said as they noticed the trapped Rainbooms, making them quickly run over as one of them touched the box as the trapped girls shook their heads. ZAPP "OWW!" "Careful! No touching the energy box!" "There's got to be way to turn this thing off…" "Found it, dudes!" One cries out as she hits the switch on top, releasing the others as the device shuts down and folds up. "Okay… that works."
Khyber notices and kicks Shock Rock away and glares, whipping out a blaster. "Miserably, meddling Earthlings!" He fires a laser bolt as the girls yapped, ducking under as Shock Rock snarls and creates a massive energy ball while leaping up. 'HEY! I SAID, LEAVE THEM ALONE! He slams the ball down hard, creating a massive energy blast that sent Khyber crashing into a wall and slumping down, making Shock Rock approached him as the alien hunter glances up. "It appears you managed to best me in the end. A deals a deal." He recalled his box device and stood up, making his helmet appear as he was about to press something on his gauntlet before being stopped by Shock Rock. 'Wait! I need to know: Who sent you in the 1st place? What does he want with me?" "… Azmuth sent me. Said he wanted something important from you. Something that once belonged to someone he knew." Khyber teleported away as Shock Rock stood there and process the name. "Azmuth…. Who's Azmuth?"
The Rainbooms and Shadowbolts were at the mall, watching with glee and joy that their music video is the winner! "Yeehaw! We got enough to make Camper Everfree good as new!" "Looks like we're having our End of School year Dance on a yacht!" As the girls chat it up, Dan was sitting on a bench, staring at the gauntlet in thought as Hotaru came up. "Hi, Dan! Aren't you happy that all our friends got what they want and are celebrating together?" "no… I just got something on my mind. It's about what Khyber said to me before leaving." The 11-year old sat down, as unbeknownst to them, Pinkie Pie pulls out some hearing equipment as the others listen in as well. "He said someone named Azmuth sent him after me, because he wanted the Gauntlet!" "So? Isn't that what Vilgax and those other hunters you told me about want?' "Yeah! Except Khyber spoke like this Azmuth knows about the Ultimatrix. Which makes me wonder?' "Why is Azmuth after the Gauntlet as well? And how does he know about it? And these 'someone' that the gauntlet once belonged to and Azmuth knows, who is he? And why did he sent that hunter after me?" Dan gazes up as the girl can't help, but do the same thing, as well as the others as they all ponder one question. Who in the Universe is Azmuth?
In Deep Space on a ship, Khyber was sharpening his blade as a figure contacted him. "it seems that you failed at the task." "The boy proved himself more resourceful then anticipated, without his Ultimate transformations. But it appears he managed to gain access to the Fulmini DNA stored inside the Ultimatrix as well. That boy has no idea what kind of force he's messing with." "Unexpected turn of events. But not unforeseeable. I'll handle the child soon, by myself. It is important that I recover the Ultimatrix. Or his planet will fall victim to the coming storm."
