Harry slumped into an armchair, cradling a bottle of beer. In his spare bedroom which had been an office/baby room was now his office for designing the Dresden Files before RECT took on the project.

With him was Akio. She too was drinking "I can't believe that asshole."

Harry chuckled "You and me both…I still find it funny that the idiot tried to blackmail me…And I have to thank you."

Akio cocked her head at looked at her boyfriend "What for?" She asked, Harry was sentimental at times but not all that often.

"For you being there for me. SAO and afterwards. How much have I exactly told you about my past?" Harry asked. He was pretty sure, he'd been vague as had Hermione and Neville. There were some things that just hadn't completely settled with him. What with his book about his time in SAO being released soon, people were clamouring for more.

"Not much too be honest. Only that you have magical powers, mostly trained wizard and that childhood wasn't the best."

Harry snorted "Well it is the truth. A wall papered truth but is the truth. Sweet Merlin, I'm Twenty-two, we've been together just over a year and you know next to nothing about my past. I don't want to retell it, but ask away and I'll be truthful."

Akio grinned, skipped out of the room and came back with bowls of Harry's left overs and more beers "This could take a long time."

With that they began to eat and began to chat. Focusing solely on the past that Harry hadn't told her. Well he had told her, the part revolving around his powers back in SAO but, now he repeated everything he told her then and went into much greater detail. He explained the god-awful expectations that had been heaped onto him, the sheep and mindless activity of his peers and the world.

Akio sighed "I don't blame you. I don't blame you for cutting and running. My only concern is the fact that they might try and take you away from me. They tried a direct attack, but what about Teddy?"

Harry's eyes glittered "If they do…They'll regret it." Akio, squeezed Harry's knee.

"I'm sure you will my Kotoamatsukami. It means Authority of the Gods among other translations." She explained, Harry kissed her hand.

"Thanks…for putting up with me."

Akio shook her head "It's the least I can do. You saved me from a potentially exceptionally shite relationship with Hiashi."

Harry grunted at that "True. Wish he didn't die, but at least he died not being an utter dick."

"Do you ever wish it?" Akio asked suddenly. Harry looked at her, then at the file on the desk.

"Ever wish what Koi? I wish a lot of things." Harry said immediately brining up his guard. He was hoping this wasn't going to go where he thought it was.

"Wish that someone else had died instead."

"Yeah. Megalomaniac psycho sociopath that killed my parents for one. My cousin a few times when I was younger. My Uncle, he was a wanker so yeah…Isn't it natural?" Harry said. He was beginning to get concerned.

Akio saw this and stopped and she stopped "I'm sorry." She said before shrinking away again.

Harry nodded "You were going to ask if I can bring people back?"

Akio stared at him "You…knew?"

Harry chuckled "Logic and deduction. The answer to all of your questions are 'yes', I can do all of the above of what you wanted to ask and more. However, the answers to your next questions would be 'no'. Furthering that you'd be suffering either memory loss or be moving out of this apartment. The reasoning is the methods that I can do are the following: unethical, illegal, complicated, highly dangerous, dangerous exchanges and not everything works as it should. Oh and the outcomes are any combination and collaboration of the outcomes and that's not even getting into the 'complex, utterly mind boggling situations that completely and utterly disregard quantum physicals and temporal confluxes on the space-time-continuum…Any questions?"

Akio grinned and chuckled "Stupid one but what is the…"

"42. Meaning of life and the universe." Harry said, he blushed at the look Akio gave him "What? That was the perfect opportunity to drop that one in."

Akio did giggle and she turned to the folder "Well then Mr. Detective, let's solve this case. You start and I'll get the food."

Kazuto felt himself going limp and then the world of 1's and 0's materialised around him. Harry was going to be monitoring from outside and he was going to track down the killer from the inside.

He materialised and found himself in a dystopian grey sky, smoke filled world that could only be known as Gun Gale Online. The game was afoot and he was off.

Akio and Harry were staring at a large pin board with a blue haired avatar with glasses on it. Underneath was the name XeXeed. Harry snorted "I'm not going to mourn your loss. Neither is the gaming community when it comes out that you deliberately told people the meta was AGI when it was STR based characters."

Akio shook her head "You did that once didn't you?"

"Yeah as a prank on Floor 1 before it became irreversible and way before I decided to launch the Seed. Sometimes, I really regret releasing the Seed into the world."

Akio nodded, stood in front of her boyfriend and looped her arms around his neck "I love you Harry. But you need to slow down, think things through. Kazuto-kun can handle this. But for now you and I need to put our minds to something much more productive."
