Harry awoke to find Akio curled up next to him. Nothing unusual but this time both of them in their birthday suits. Harry looked at her, thanks to surgery he no longer needed glasses. He could see and feel the aura around them.

Akio stirred, rolled over so she was resting on top of her boyfriend, straddling him. Harry looked up at her and grinned. "Hey."

Harry sat up and wrapped his arms around her "What's up? You're not normally like this." He asked curiously.

Akio nestled her head into Harry's neck and clavicle "Worried. Exceptionally worried." She murmured.

Harry looked at her "Why?"

Akio looked at Harry "You've said it yourself. You have a saving people thing…Catching the bad guy. I'm worried. Harry…promise me you're going to stop and you're just going to focus on gaming."

Harry nodded "I swear."

(Gun Gale)

Kirito materialised. He was in a dingy back alley next to a glowing spot. He snorted, this was evidently the main spawning point for the game. As he walked out of the alleyway, he found a grimy but relatively clean enough mirror.

His eyes widened, his avatar in this game was definitely a much more feminine build, with slate grey eyes, pale skin, and long dark hair down to the middle of the back.

"Oh boy! The Rare Number 54 Avatar!" Someone exclaimed.

Kirito spun around to see an avatar of a group of people shambling, stumbling and in some cases staggering towards him. Kirito looked around and found that he was in what Harry would have called "The Slums" of a City. Kirito shook his head, going into the Slums in Aincrad with Harry was never really fun.

Mainly because his raven haired looney boss and arguably best friend was an absolute asshole when it came to room clearing. Harry had the tendency to throw a dagger attached to an apple into the room and start swinging his Horse Slaying Sword or Zanbato. The Zanbato was eerily like the one Zabuza from Naruto used.

Kirito only really remembered that because Harry had been programming a re-patch of coding for one of the Naruto Games and was watching Naruto to get a feel for the character.

"Who are you? How much do you want for your account?" Kirito quickly found himself surrounded by the people. All of them looking at him with ill-conceived desire.

"It doesn't matter. Now how much for the account?"

Kirito opened his account and to his dismay found that he had no weapons what's so ever. He checked his stats and he smirked, it appeared that his stats from Aincrad which had transferred to Alfheim, had somewhat transferred again into Gun Gale. Kirito sighed in relief, he was glad that his Dresden Files account was on a completely separate network on an identical coding programme and linked to the Seed in the very thinnest of links, unlike this game.

One of the men went for something at was a Sig Sauer, Kirito only recognised it due to Harry getting him to code specific weapons. Kirito lashed out, his hand grabbing the barrel with one hand, jerked it causing the man to go off balance and with strong kick to the gut, the grip slackened allowing for Kirito to pull the gun and train it on the group.

(Flashback)

Harry had taken Akio, Kazuto and Asuna to America. Harry had acquired permission to create a portkey. They were over there to announce the release of Dresden Files for Full Dive Technology alongside Jim Butcher.

The event had been a success, since the four would be out there for three weeks. Harry had found a shooting range and after a few charms and few hefty deposits, he had the four of them shooting licences.

Harry had booked out a range of firearms. Whilst down on the range Akio, Kazuto and Asuna witnessed just how sharp Harry's reflexes and hand-to-eye co-ordination actually were. He picked up his first firearm which was a pistol, checked the slider and magazine were separate. Slid it in, locked and loaded the handgun with large clean gestures. Aimed, inhaled, and exhaled as he began to shoot.

The wardens watched and were surprised that after only an hour and a half of tuition. The foreigner had entered the range and he began to shoot. He fired two magazines, stopped and brought his target up. The clustering of the thirty rounds were nice and tight.

It was a similar thing for the rifle. The shotgun on the other hand was his weaker one of the three. Despite 100% accuracy, the slug positioning was all over the place.

Kazuto and Asuna found that they weren't too bad at shooting. The two teens concluded that this had been one of the best holidays the pair had.

(End Flashback)

Kirito looked a small screen appeared. It revealed how many shots his side arm had. He grinned, it was a full magazine. Six guys, 15 bullets. No armour. "Six of you…Fifteen bullets." With that he turned the safety off.

The first two died more or less instantly, Kirito realised that this game took into account anatomical and genuine reactions when being injected with lead. The remaining four fumbled with their inventory only for each one of them to be shot in the elbow and then in the throat. As the last one hit the floor, Kirito smirked.

"That was remarkably easy." He commented to himself. As he examined the spoils. From what it looked like once the enemy had been defeated any equipment that they had on their person was left behind aside from money.

Kirito suddenly found himself six thousand credits up with his starting one thousand and seven handguns. He looked each of the handguns he picked up were Glock's which were mainly 19's, 23's and a 38. Harry looked at the gun he had grabbed off the first guy and found that it was a P229 chambered in 9mm.

Kirito shrugged off the miscellaneous trivia and he began to wander.

(Aincrad)

Asuna, Silica, Leafa, Harry and Akio digitised one after the other into Kirito and Asuna's House which resembled the one on Floor 22. Harry only knew of the house because he had to carry Kirito down from a particularly nasty encounter on floor 66, which supposedly led to a supply of ingots that would make a much better Morning Star.

Harry never got around to making it as someone snuck in a stole the material. Harry then had to deal with several other things. So this was the first time he actually got to have a look around.

"Asuna, I have to say…Love the place."

Asuna blushed "I thought Kirito would have brought you here?"

Harry chuckled and got rid of his ridiculous armour was in the equivalent of pants and a shirt. Akio curled up on his lap and they were just sitting around talking and completing homework. Harry meanwhile was jotting down points of concern on his Dresden File Game.

The main points that seemed to be appearing were that of the randomness of becoming a White Council level Practitioner seemed far too far and between and more often than not it was either the min/max users or people who had no reason to select the path.

Harry sighed and closed the notes.

"Problem?"

Harry hugged Akio "Not so much. Just people complaining about not being able to play as certain types of characters in Dresden Files."

"White Council?"

Harry nodded "I'm worried that everyone will take that path."

Akio's eyes widened "You know in our Roleplay Game night with Neville, Hermione, Myself, Kazuto and Asuna how you reigned in our characters?"

"Meaning crunched down on the xp gaining to make your character really hard to level up."

"Could do that."

Harry's smirk was definitely wolfish "That'd work. Because Harry at the point of Storm Front was still a young wizard almost fresh out of completing his magical studies."

"Since you've only released the first three books…There are a surprising amount of low-level practitioners. Quite a few Were-characters as well."

Harry grinned "It's superficial stuff. Just got to make sure it remains enjoyable for all as I need to develop my own game. Rather, less my own game but rather one that people enjoy on their mobile."

"What game is that?"

"Monster Hunter."

That got grins from everyone "You'd make that?"

Harry nodded "Would need to make it an R-rated game and lower the pain safety net on the rigs."

Asuna gulped "You mean like what happened with you and Oberon! How are you still standing?"

Harry grinned "Exactly. I have nerve damage, stubborn like an ox and quite frankly easily able to gamble on my life."

Lisbeth moved the conversation on "Where's Kirito?"

Asuna shrugged "Haven't seen him in a few days."

Akio turned to Harry "You going to tell them or shall I?"

Harry sighed "Kirito's been given a job. Given to him by that moron who had me investigated…Yeah. He's got to investigate a set of deaths in game and to the players."

Asuna gulped "Is he alright? What game is it?"

"Gun Gale Online…A scummy game for equally scummy people." Harry said.

"Why's that?"

Harry sighed "There's something called a micro-transaction that's where people pay into their account to purchase tonnes of stuff…Basically weapons that you can't get anywhere else or late game. However, people can make money on this. Gain coins and transfer them to our currency…Yeah. I'm doing what I can but for now Kirito is on his own."
