Harry sighed. He was lying on the sofa, Peaky Blinders in the background. Teddy working on something and Akio making a buffet of food for RECT Tech, favourite down time. RPG, Roleplay Game Night, face-to-face dice-rolling, joke making and all-round inspiration for further games.

For now, they were playing through a grimmer version of Ravenloft, a well-known Dungeons and Dragons Module. Harry and Kiba were spear-heading the project as dual dungeon masters. Harry handled the world-building and the dramatic tension with Kiba dealing with the combat part of the game.

He was looking at an empty programme. He had so many ideas, so many VR's to make. But he had no idea of what he could think of. "What about doing one based on comic-books, love."

Harry let the tablet fall to see Akio, in jeans and one of his flannels with oven mitts on "What about them?"

"You're thinking at this from being a wizard and sticking to stereotypical fantasy. Granted, Dresden Online works because it's already got a cult following. Jim Butcher, is a genius and you managed to bring it to life and have people full on experience it…Now help me in the kitchen and I'll keep explaining what a non-magic wielder wants or wanted to be when they were kids."

Harry's eyebrows shot up. This was going to be interesting. Sushi, curry, cutlets of beef, lamb and pork along with various types of rice soon decorated the kitchen. The kitchen if Harry hadn't mentioned it earlier it was his favourite room in the house.

When Harry had bought the house, just after Akio had decided to move into his flat, which at the time had been at the time, a bachelor pad for a Geek. But since then, Andromeda and Edward Lupin had more or less moved over with Hermione and Neville spending holidays over there, Harry and Akio had invested in a house.

After getting the construction workers in and a few walls removed and space opened up, to the rest of the Department; Harry and Akio's house was the best one for them to all meet at. Especially when it came to game nights and briefing sessions, all they needed to bring were themselves and a small contribution. Although the latter wasn't so much said but rather a rule that had come about subconsciously.

Since the majority of the time Harry and Akio cooked and hosted, it was not uncommon for an unused mayonnaise jar that had long since been cleaned would end up having yen in. It was never done publicly but Harry and Akio both knew it happened.

They seemed to get more tips when alcohol was in the house. Again, the lovebirds didn't mind as such. It was only three in the afternoon and by half-three everything was out and cooling or being warmed on the counter top by the cooker.

Harry, then found Akio sitting on the table, her brown eyes simmering with excitement. Akio, could match wits and creative ideals and have a unique and powerful drive to succeed that could match Harry. However, whilst Harry possessed a cutting edge almost geekiness borderline nerdiness amount of intellect focused about 'typical fantasy' known as Witches, Wizards and their wild menagerie of beasts, reptiles, insects and plants, he was hopelessly naïve about other genres that children played in.

Harry moved forwards, wrapped his arms around her back and effectively cupping her ass rumbled "What was it you wanted to tell me?"

Akio giggled "Superheroes…When I was a girl, I wanted to be Batwoman…Remind me to get some comic books. Anyway, why not do a Superhero game?"

Harry looked at her like a deer in the headlights "I…I…I have no idea how to do that. We…No…You, you bring it up tonight and get them on board…I'll back you in the endeavour."

"That's why I love you. You're more than willing to jump into the known when so many are content to hesitate…Anyway, pass me the notepad."

With a whispered summoning spell the electronic device whizzed into Akio's hands. Soon enough, they ended back up on the couch, Teddy looked up from the coffee table he was at and shook his head. His Godfather and his Girlfriend were being silly.

Soon enough, five rolled around and Andy picked up her Grandson who had been snacking on a steak sandwich "Harry's…He…He's right behind me?"

Edward turned to smile adorably "If you were hungry, you should have said." Harry said as he picked up his Godson.

"But I wasn't…But that looked so delicious." Teddy replied, before he turned to his Grandmother.

"May I?"

"Yes. You're still eating dinner though." Teddy nodded and soon enough the pair were setting off.

Harry grinned as the two set off. It was times like these that he loved it in Japan. Thankfully, this session was going to be combat hitting one allowing him to use his Fallen Angel Blood Cleric. He was not expected to be a damage dealer and charge forward which was amazing. He was instead expected to keep the party alive and either boost or hinder friends and foe.

His colleagues had quickly become his friends and now the group had slowly developed a much deeper trust than before. It was because of that RECT had been allowing them to publish a small stream of choice-esque games.

Those had become especially addictive as they had been published free and each update was a chapter. Each chapter had about fifteen to twenty-five sections depending on the choices made, they had made it plain that if money was involved it would be a monthly payment, involving early access to the multitude of stories, a gem sum reliant on a minor percentage of gems sold. Same with keys, they had a two-hour recharge for two a-day and like the gems could be bought separately and included in the monthly recharge.

Eventually by six, people had started to arrive. The first to arrive was Kiba, as the other Dungeon Master, he often made it his policy to be the amongst the first to arrive, so they could start with minimal fuss.

Kirito, Asuna and Sinon were the next ones to arrive, the girls looked completely nervous but Akio managed to settle them down and soon enough the four were quickly character generating character. Rather three were, one was helping as best she could.

Soon enough everyone had arrived and food was being eaten, drinks consumed and at seven everyone clustered around the dining table in the kitchen, the DM coughed and the session began.
