Ash, was still on her knees in the rubble the memories were flooding back it was almost as if they were sped up, in her mind she was in front of Jill and the other man, looking at what she could do for them, and then before she knew it the ambulance crew were there and Rob, ohh how he seems to come at just the right time and make everything seem better. She remembered pleading Rob to look after Jill
Meanwhile Jill had told Lizzie, she was leaving to see a patient and would be back as quickly as possible, she didn't say anymore so as not to worry Gordon
Back with Ash, she had now fallen through the floor, now she remembered that she had blacked out a couple of times, now she was coming back around to Gordon calling her name, and how she had panicked when she couldn't move, she had tried to call out but she couldn't, she could remember hearing them, and then she heard Tom and Jonathon, then they had found her ohh how much lighter it seemed only now she could see the beam that was laying across her chest
Now, Gordon was talking to her and ordering the others around, ohh how she loved watching her parents at work, they always seemed so calm and in control, but there was something different about him, he seemed more worried, he suddenly seemed more venerable, Tom was talking to her, it was Gordon's idea, she guessed to keep Sister away, she seemed to be circling like a vulture, ready to pick at anything, She remembered she kept asking for Jill, how annoying that must have seemed, then she was on the stretcher and Jonathon was taking the bags
Before she knew it she was in the ambulance, Gordon was doing his best to check her over, but she wasn't behaving, Rob was helping to keep her calm, but Sister was being quick to judge, she came out of her daze, she could hear Jill calling her, her head was pounding and she thought she was going to be sick, she looked around, how did she get in here
There was another gate not too far in front of her, Ash got up and made her way towards it, she squeezed through and turned back to have one last look at the site, before finding Jill, she had a sharp surge of pain and fell to her knees
"How, long did you leave her for" asked Jill, starting to panic
"It, wasn't that long, a couple of minutes tops" replied Bunty
"So, where is she then" asked Jill, they were now by the main gates, she tried to open them, but there was no way any of them could squeeze through, and there was no sign of Ash
"Well, I'm going to walk around the site, and then if there is still no sign I'm going to have to phone Gordon and let him know" Added Jill, walking back to where Ash had last been seen
"So, what were you doing here anyway" asked Jill
"We, both needed something to take our minds off, of things" replied Bunty
"So, where did you go" asked Jill
"Well, we started at the library" started Bunty
"I told Ash not to go to the library" replied Jill
"Well, her list of books came through and I thought it might take her mind off things, I could see her trying to force herself to remember" replied Bunty
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean it like that, it's just I'm so worried" replied Jill
"I know you are, but you have to let her live her life, otherwise she will start to resent you" replied Bunty
Jill stopped in her tracks
"Why, what has she said" asked Jill
"Nothing, the girl still adores you, both" replied Bunty
"So, what else did you do" asked Jill
"We, went into town, and then had tea and a slice of cake, then Ash wanted to come home" replied Bunty, picking up the bags as they went past
"Then you ended up here" replied Jill
"Well, we didn't mean to, there was some accident that had closed the road off" replied Bunty
They turned the corner and Bunty saw her first
"Jill" said Bunty pointing to the slumped figure on the floor
"Ash" said Jill,
"Mum, can you get my bag out of the car please" added Jill, before running towards Ash
Bunty went to the car and placed the bags in the boot and grabbed Jill's bag
Jill, went towards Ash, who was now remembering what went on while she was in the hospital
Ash remembered Jill taking her hand as she was wheeled in and then Jill and Gordon were talking quietly, before sending the others out of the room, then she was given something to make her sleep, she remembers fighting it and hearing her parents talking, and Jill whispering in her ear, they were really worried, she got the feeling she was moving, and then voices that sounded far away, she was trying to move but couldn't
Jill rubbed Ash's cheek, making Ash remember Jill doing it in hospital and saying I'm so sorry, baby girl
"Ash, sweetheart" said Jill
"Jill, what's going on" asked Bunty, passing Jill her bag
"Mum" said Ash, puzzled
"Yes, sweetheart" replied Jill, opening her bag
"What, happened" asked Ash
"You, were having a panic attack" started Jill
"Then you disappeared" added Bunty
"I'm, sorry" replied Ash, letting Jill take her pulse
"You had us really worried, don't you ever do this to us again" added Bunty
"Mum, not now" said Jill
"Right, let's get you home" added Jill, getting up now she was satisfied Ash was okay
Ash, got up she was feeling a little wobbly, and light headed
"Mum, can you take my bag please" asked Jill
Bunty nodded and took the bag, while Jill took Ash's arm, Ash let Jill help her to the car
They drove home in silence, Jill help Ash get inside, while Bunty made them drinks,
Jill was on the phone to the royal
"Hello, Lizzie, it's Jill can I speak to Gordon please" said Jill
"Yes, Doctor, he's just finished with a patient" replied Lizzie
"Doctor, It's Jill for you" Lizzie said to Gordon
"I'll take it in my office" replied Gordon
"Hello, Love" said Gordon
"Gordon, I'm at home" replied Jill
"What's wrong" asked Gordon
"Ash, has had a panic attack" replied Jill
"What, what brought that on" asked Gordon
"Well, they were on the bus home, but everything was getting diverted" started Jill
"Well, how is she now" asked Gordon
"In a lot of pain, I've not asked her a lot yet, she doesn't seem ready to talk yet" replied Jill
"Well, I'm leaving now, I won't be long" replied Gordon
Jill, put the phone down and made her way into the front room and sat down next to Ash, who cuddled into her, not wanting to talk, but needing the comfort and reassurance
