Bunty, came in with the drinks, and placed them on the coffee table

"So, how are we feeling, now" Bunty asked

"I'm okay, sorry about earlier" replied Ash

"You, had us all worried" started Bunty

"But, you are safe and that is all that matters, for now" interrupted Jill

"Mum, don't be cross with Nan, it was my idea to go into town" replied Ash

"I'm, not sweetheart, there's just a lot going on at the moment" replied Jill Ash, pulled away from Jill

"Sweetheart, I don't mean it like that" said Jill, knowing Ash had taken it to heart

"It's fine, really, I might just go and stretch out for a bit" replied Ash

"Sweetheart" said Jill trying to stop Ash from leaving

"Jill" said Bunty, allowing Ash to slip past her Ash made her way upstairs, and into her room, she could hear Jill and Bunty talking. Jill was trying to get all the information, when Gordon arrived

"Hello" said Gordon as he walked through the door

"We're in here" replied Jill Gordon made his way into the front room

"I'll let you two talk, I just make us some lunch" said Bunty, getting up before they could answer Jill filled Gordon in with all that she had found out

"Right, well it sounds like we should go and see how Ash is" said Gordon

"Just one thing, she's very touchy, I said a couple of things which she took the wrong way" replied Jill, getting up and making her way upstairs

"Ohh, and she is feeling guilty enough already" added Jill, stopping outside of Ash's room and knocking on the door

"Come in" said Ash, who was led on the bed trying to get comfy Jill, looked to Gordon, who looked equally as worried

"So, Ash how are you feeling" asked Gordon

"I'm, fine really, have you heard anything about Grandad" asked Ash, trying to get the conversation away from her

"I, have and he is doing well" replied Gordon

"Can I go and see him" asked Ash

"Well, let's see how you are after lunch" replied Jill

"But first we need to talk" replied Gordon sternly, pulling out the chair and sitting down Ash moved to a sitting position on the bed, Jill sat next to her

"So, mum tells me you went into town" started Gordon

Ash nodded

"And that you went to the library, even though she had told you not to" carried on Gordon

Ash nodded again

"Well, have you got anything to say to that" asked Gordon

"I'm sorry, but" started Ash

"No try that again" said Gordon

"I'm sorry I went to the library" replied Ash

"So, what did you do at the library" asked Gordon

"Just, looked at a couple of books and then got one out to read" replied Ash, hoping Bunty had not told them the rest

"And then what did you do" asked Gordon

"Then, we looked around a few shops, Nan let me go in the music shop and I brought a couple of tapes, then we went for a cup of tea and Nan brought me a slice of cake" replied Ash, not knowing what all this was about

"Is that when you asked to come home" asked Jill

Ash nodded

"I was feeling a bit tired, and I was in a bit of pain, we stayed in the coffee shop until it was nearly time for the bus" added Ash

"Why, didn't you phone us" asked Jill

"Because, you are busy and like you said, you have enough on at the moment" replied Ash

"There is no need to be rude young lady" said Gordon

"I'm, sorry, it's just I can't phone you whenever I get a little pain, and I was being responsible, I told Nan and we were on our way home, there was nothing either of you could have done to help" replied Ash

Gordon, went to say something but Jill caught his eye and shook her head

"I, know but that doesn't mean we wouldn't have liked to have been there for you" said Jill

Ash could see the hurt in their eyes, that she hadn't confided in them

"I am really sorry, but even if I had of phoned, you would have had to say you couldn't help me anyway" replied Ash

"What, makes you say that" asked Gordon

"Well, the road was shut because of an accident, I assume they were taken to the royal" replied Ash

"Yes, you know that now, but you didn't then" replied Gordon angrily

"What your dad is trying to say is, if you are out and about and you get this pain, we always, always want you to call, we can always sort something out" said Jill

"But what if" started Ash

"No, what ifs, always" interrupted Jill, looking to Gordon for support

"Always, no matter what time, or how busy we say we are, you understand us" added Gordon

Before anything else could be said

"Lunch is ready" shouted up Bunty after she had gone through to the front room and found it empty, she hoped they weren't pushing Ash into talking to them, because she knew all to well what happened if you did, it was only the last couple of years she had felt closer to her daughter again, and most of that was because of the grandchildren

"Okay, we'll be down in a minute" replied Jill

"Just, don't go thinking that this is over" said Gordon getting up, both he and Jill made their way to the door

"Come on then Ash, lunch is ready" said Jill realising Ash wasn't behind her

"I, might just stay here, I'm not that hungry" replied Ash

"Just come down and sit with us, Nan has gone to a lot of trouble" replied Jill

"Okay, but I'm only doing this for nan" replied Ash

"Sweetheart, don't be like this" said Jill

"Like what" retorted Ash

Jill, was just thinking maybe her mum was right after all they were pushing Ash away

Ash followed Jill and Gordon downstairs they all sat at the table in silence. Bunty, Jill and Gordon were sat at one end while Ash had taken herself to the other end and was trying to get comfortable, so she had pulled her legs up.

Gordon had not given up on asking Ash what had gone on, he wanted to know everything before he went back to work

"So, what happened after you left the coffee shop" asked Gordon

"We, crossed the road and got on the bus" replied Ash

"Yes, and the driver told us there would be a diversion" added Bunty

"We, took our seats and then we went down the road and I started to feel like I couldn't breathe" continued Ash, talking about it was bringing the feelings back and Ash could feel her chest tightening again Bunty could see that this was happening

"I think, that's enough for now" said Bunty concerned

"I'm just trying to understand what happened" replied Gordon not happy to be told what to do by Bunty

"Okay, but maybe take it a little easier" replied Bunty, keeping a close eye on Ash

who was starting to have a panic attack again, Bunty caught Jill's eye and then nodded towards Ash

"Ash, sweetheart, you are home and safe" said Jill whilst getting up and going towards Ash, when she reached her she rubbed her arms

"Nan, stopped the bus, we got off, then I don't remember anything until mum turned up" said Ash breathlessly, she had decided she wouldn't tell them what she had remembered

"Sssh, sweetheart, take some deep breaths for me" said Jill,

"So, is that all" asked Bunty

"As, long as we have been told everything" replied Gordon

"I, have one question, where were you going" asked Jill to Ash

"All, I remember is I needed to see you" replied Ash
