She waited until they had left before starting

"Mum, I'm sorry about today, I didn't make it easy" said Ash, she was still trying to get comfy

"Here, let me help" said Jill

"If, I tell you something, you won't tell anyone will you" asked Ash apprehensively

"Of course not, not unless you want me to" replied Jill

Ash had finally stopped wriggling

Jill grabbed her hand and squeezed it, she then waited for Ash to find the right words

"Well, earlier, I didn't want to tell you anything, because I didn't want to make you choose between us" started Ash

"Sweetheart, I can be there for all of you" said Jill

"I know, but I didn't want you to be in the middle, and who is there for you, so if anything, I say starts to make it awkward tell me" said Ash

Jill looked at Ash, what could she possibly be thinking that was this bad

Ash didn't wait for Jill to respond to her, she knew they didn't have a lot of time left

"So, I've had a few flashbacks, and there was one I was worried to ask you about" started Ash

Jill squeezed her hand, knowing this was a big step, she then nodded her head

"Well, you know we were on our way home, because I was in pain, were you angry with me because of earlier on in the day" asked Ash

"No, of course not, I just didn't want you pushing yourself to hard, where has this all come from" asked Jill

"I've remembered talking to Tom, I was watching dad working trying to get me free, he seemed worried, he sent Tom over to talk to me so Sister wouldn't annoy me" started Ash

Jill waited for Ash to continue

"I think I might have annoyed him, I kept asking for you, but he asked me about work and I told him I had made you angry, he thought that was why we were coming home, but then he told me you weren't cross, that you were waiting for me" sobbed Ash

"Ohh, sweetheart, of course I'm not angry with you, I just worry, you are like me you put everyone else first no matter what it does to yourself, we both have to be a little bit more selfish" replied Jill

"But why do you think it is all your fault" asked Ash

Jill didn't have time to reply

"You whispered in my ear, didn't you" said Ash

"I didn't think you would hear that" said Jill

"It came back to me the other day at the site when you rubbed my cheek, I'm sorry I didn't tell you before" said Ash

Jill looked at her as if to say it was alright

"No, it's not I should have told you before, it's just every time I tried something else would get in the way, I'm sorry" sobbed Ash

"Hey, come here" said Jill taking Ash into a hug

"It's alright, I know there has been a lot going on and we haven't made it easy" said Jill

"But that is not it, is it" added Jill, looking into Ash's eyes

"I can't help feeling that, ohh it doesn't matter" replied Ash

"It matters to me, if it's troubling you" replied Jill

"I just can't help feeling that if I wasn't here you wouldn't have all this trouble" replied Ash quickly

"Budge up" said Jill sitting on the bed next to Ash she put her arm around her

"Now, we will have no more of that, you are my baby girl, my trouble maker and no one is ever going to change that" replied Jill

"But don't you ever" started Ash

"I think what we need is a girly night" said Jill

Ash went to say something

"No, you know what, it's what I am saying not just as your mother but as your doctor tonight" said Jill

"When" asked Ash

"As soon as possible, so Monday" said Jill

"Monday, it's a deal, but what about dad" asked Ash

"Well it's up to you, but maybe he could join us" replied Jill

"He, can if he wants to" replied Ash, thinking that he probably, wouldn't have the time

Jill could sense that Ash still was not telling her something, but she didn't want to push her

"So, about tomorrow, what's happening and remember our packed" said Jill

"Okay, I asked the others to give us time alone together, because I wanted to talk to you, so I promised I would spend the day with them" started Ash

"So, what you all said, you were winding us up, are you meeting us for lunch" asked Jill

"Yes, we are meeting you for lunch, but I don't know what they have planned, but I did ask them if we could do stuff away from the house, but they said they would have to ask you" replied Ash, truthfully

"I don't want you getting your hopes up, but we will see how you are in the morning" replied Jill, she felt happier now, she knew the truth, she had been really worried that they had seen them

Before anymore could be said the doors opened and sister walked in

"So, where is everyone, is everything alright" asked Sister

"Everything is fine, they've gone on home" replied Jill

Sister came over and sat down, Ash just looked at Jill, she knew she wasn't going to leave anytime soon, but neither of them were in the right frame of mind to be putting up with all the questions

"So, what was wrong" asked Sister

"A, wound had become infected" replied Jill

"Well, why weren't you keeping it clean" replied Sister bluntly

"I couldn't" started Ash

"You stupid girl, you only had to ask, we could have helped" interrupted Sister

Jill went to say something, it really made her mad when Sister called her stupid, but Ash got there first

"Well, if you had let me finish what I was saying, you would know, but now I would like some peace and quiet, so please leave" replied Ash

Sister looked at Jill, hoping for support, and hoping Jill would tell Ash off for being so rude to her

"So, why didn't you notice this, you're supposed to be" started Sister

"Actually, mum did notice it, that's why we are here, if it wasn't for mum checking on me tonight, I would still be fast asleep in bed" replied Ash

"But why did you let her get this bad before bringing her in" asked Sister

Ash could tell that there was going to be another fifty questions until she could blame one or all of the Ormerod's, and she was not in the mood to stand for it tonight

"Mum, I'm tired, please can we go home now" pleaded Ash

Jill, looked at the I.V

"About five ten minutes" replied Jill

"So, you have time to talk to me" replied Sister

"Please, just leave it, I'm tired, I just want to go home and go to bed" said Ash, she was now getting really frustrated

"Ash" said Jill, warningly

"Sorry, I'm tired that's all, I'm so sorry" said Ash

"I'm only asking because I'm worried about you" replied Sister

That was the wrong thing to say

"Worried, what now you are worried, where were you when I needed you, not just me but mum and dad" replied Ash

Jill gave Ash a glance to warn her, she could not see this ending well

"I'll tell you where you were, you had other more important commitments, well as far as I'm concerned you can go off to your commitments, because I have my family, and I don't need you sticking your nose in" added Ash

Sister went to say something, but Jill shook her head, so Sister got up and walked away

"Ash, you will need to apologise" said Jill sternly

Ash had no plans to apologise as far as she was concerned it needed to be said

Jill looked at the I.V it had finally finished, she could tell Ash had simply had enough

"Well, we can sort this out later, let's just get you home" said Jill
