Ash waited while Jill, finished tidying up, they made their way to the car, but Ash kept looking behind her, she felt like someone was watching
"Sweetheart, what is it" asked Jill
Ash looked behind for the last time before getting in the car, that was when she caught sight of sister
"Nothing, I guess it's just me being silly" replied Ash, not wanting to worry Jill
Jill, looked at her, she looked so tired, she knew she wasn't telling her something
"Let's get going" replied Jill, starting the engine, she knew Ash would tell her in her own time
Ash put her seatbelt on, and as Jill pulled out of the bay, she looked out of the window, she was right sister was watching them
"Mum, I'm sorry" started Ash
Jill didn't say anything, she didn't quite understand why Ash was apologising, but they had pulled on to the drive and Ash, still hadn't said anymore. Jill parked the car and switched off the engine, Ash went to get out
"Wait, one second" said Jill, she didn't want them to go in, and leave it like this, she felt like she needed to make it better, she needed to understand why Ash was talking this way
Ash, stopped and shut the door, before turning to face Jill
"Why, did you say that" asked Jill
"Because, it's all" stated Ash, she saw the door opening and stopped
Jill had seen Gordon had opened the door and they could see the older three stood in the hallway behind him
"They're waiting" added Ash
"They, can wait" replied Jill, but Gordon was worried and started walking towards them
"Dad, is everything okay" asked Tom, as Gordon reached the car
Jill opened her door and whispered to Gordon
"Everything, is fine, I just need five minutes with Ash, explain later" said Jill
"Okay" replied Gordon, he then went back to the house
"Everything is fine, let's put the kettle on, they'll be in, in a minute" said Gordon
"So, what's happening" asked Tom
"Is Ash in pain" asked Katie
"I don't know, all I know is they need a little space" replied Gordon
The kid's knew he was being truthful, and that he was feeling a little left out
"Dad, help us plan tomorrow" said Jonathon
"I thought, you weren't doing that now" replied Gordon
"Well, we couldn't miss having a little fun, now could we" replied Tom
Meanwhile back in the car
"So, are you going to answer my question" asked Jill
Ash closed her eyes and took a deep breath
"I'm sorry, I caused all of this" started Ash
"It's not" started Jill
"Don't say it's not my fault, I know it is, and then there's sister, she should never have talked to you like that and she never would have if it wasn't for me" started Ash, now she had started she found she couldn't stop
"If, I hadn't have run away, none of this would be happening, if I could go back and change things then I would" continued Ash
"Sshh, you are not to blame" said Jill, but she could tell Ash wasn't listening, not really
"Ash, we love you" added Jill
"I love you all, but I can't help feeling" Started Ash, but she also knew the five minutes were up and Gordon, would be looking for them again soon, she went to open her door
Jill, now realised this was as bad as she had feared, she really needed to speak to Gordon, so they could stop this before it got any worse
"Ash, promise me you will talk to me, if you feel any worse" said Jill, knowing Ash had, had enough for tonight, and she wouldn't want anyone else to know
Ash got out of the car
"Ash" said Jill, shutting her door and locking the car
"I, promise" replied Ash, she waited for Jill to join her
"Good" replied Jill, knowing Ash was telling the truth, she put an arm around her, as they made their way in, just as they reached the front door it opened, it was Jonathon
"That was good timing" said Jill
"Ash, how are you feeling" asked Jonathon
"Sick" said Ash she paused before adding
"Of that question"
Jill had panicked and had grabbed her wrist, to take her pulse
"So, feeling more like your old self" replied Jonathon
Ash didn't answer, she couldn't feel any further from her old self
"Right drinks are ready" said Gordon
Jill took Ash's coat and hung it up with hers
They all made their way into the front room and took their seats
"So, what happened after we left" asked Tom, wanting to know everything
"Nothing, Ash fell asleep, and I caught up on some notes" said Jill looking at Ash
"I'm going on up to bed" said Ash getting up and taking her drink
"Night, sweetheart" said Jill
"Night sweetheart, sweet dreams" added Gordon
"night" said Jonathon, Katie and Tom
Ash, left them to it and made her way upstairs
"I think Ash has got the right idea; I might go on up as well" added Jill
"Yes, I think I might join you, if you have any sense, you won't be long either" added Gordon
"No, we won't, we just have a few things to sort out first" said Tom
"Mum, what's her favourite meal" asked Katie
"I don't think she has one" replied Jill
"What, do you mean, everyone has one" replied Jonathon
"Well, whenever, we ask her about doing a special meal for her, she always thinks of who else is going to be there and chooses to suit that person" replied Jill
"What, about when it's just the three of you" asked Tom
Jill looked at Gordon
"She has, whatever we choose in the morning" replied Gordon
"What, she never asks for anything" asked Katie
"No" replied Gordon
"So, what are we going to do now" asked Katie
"Let me think about it" replied Jill, she was too tired to think about it now
Why do they always do this, leave it till the last minute she thought
"Right, night then" said Gordon, taking Jill's hand and leading her out the door, he then took their cups and placed them in the sink, meanwhile Jill had made her way upstairs, she was stood outside Ash's door with her hand on the handle, when Gordon reached her
"Leave her, she's probably fast asleep, we'll check on her before we leave" said Gordon
Jill took her hand off the handle and followed Gordon into their room, but she had a feeling something wasn't right
