Meanwhile in the car

"What was that all about" asked Jill

"She wants us to watch a film tomorrow night" replied Gordon

"She doesn't want anyone to feel left out, but something just doesn't feel right, but I can't quite put my finger on it" replied Jill

"Anyway, I said you two would choose, I don't seem to be able to do the right thing at the moment" replied Gordon

"It's not just you feeling that way" replied Jill

"I asked her about dinner, she wanted to know who else would be there" added Jill changing the subject

"What did you tell her" asked Gordon

"I told her the truth, but then she said we had all week to have what she wanted, so we could make other people happy today, not in those words, but you get the gist of it" replied Jill

"Well, that's normal for her, let's just deal with one thing at a time, what about sister" asked Gordon, he was as worried about Ash as Jill was

"She said she will apologise, but she needs us both there, she didn't say anything, but I think she is scared of her" replied Jill

"What do you mean" asked Gordon, concerned

"She's scared she will take her away, who knows what she calls her or any of us when we're not there, especially to get her own way" replied Jill

"Well, we will have to keep a close eye on her then" replied Gordon

"I've told her as well; we will be around more and when we're not there others will be" said Jill

"What did she say to that" asked Gordon as they pulled up at the royal

"She seemed fine with it, almost relieved, she did want to know if she could still have friends around" replied Jill, at least she was thinking further down the line Jill thought, it kind of stopped her worrying about her so much

"Well, I'm just going to make that call" replied Gordon as they walked through the doors, he didn't know how long it was going to take or how it was going to go

"I'll come and find you after" added Gordon, unlocking his office door

"Okay" replied Jill, going towards her office

Meanwhile at the Ormerod House

Ash, had gotten ready and was outside reading her book while she waited for the others to get up, it was still pretty early she thought, she had been out there for nearly half an hour when she heard a knock on the front door, she got up and went to answer it thinking maybe it was nan or matron, and the others had forgotten that they were coming, she had just shut the back door, when the person knocked again more impatiently this time, she had this feeling that it was sister she locked the back door behind her

"Aisling, I know you are in there" shouted sister through the letterbox

Ash froze, she felt trapped

"Aisling, it's time for church if you don't hurry up, we'll be late" added Sister, before banging on the door again

Ash didn't know what to do, how could the others even sleep through this she thought

Sister banged on the door for the last time

"It doesn't seem like anyone is in" said the young nun to sister

"I'll, just check around the back, they might be in the garden" replied Sister

Ash, cautiously opened the kitchen door and peered around, she could see a figure by the door move away, she took this chance to make a run for the stairs, Ash was on the stairs when she heard the handle for the back door being tried, she held her breath

Sister tried the back door and peered through the window, it did look like no-one was home, she made her way back to the front of the house

"Any luck" asked the nun

"No" replied Sister

"Maybe she's already there" replied the nun

"No, I always pick her up, we always go together" replied Sister

"Maybe she forgot" replied the nun

"No, this is them" replied Sister, starting to sound paranoid

"You said she wasn't well, maybe she's just still asleep, why don't we try again later" reasoned the nun

"Yes, you are right, I'll come back after the service" replied Sister they both got on their bikes and cycled off towards the church

Ash went up to her room and sat on her bed, she pulled out her book and carried on reading, she had just finished a chapter and looked up at the clock, it was nearly ten. She put her book in her bag along with some other things she didn't know what the others had planned and made her way back downstairs, there was still no sign of the others, she went into the kitchen Jill's note was still where she had left it.

That's it I've had enough of waiting, I'm going out thought Ash, she grabbed a pen and added to the note

Got bored of waiting gone out, see you at lunch time Ash.

She then put on her trainers and threw on her coat, she then went and grabbed her bike from the shed

She started cycling not really knowing where she was going, she was finding it a little hard to steer with her new cast on, and she had to get off and walk up the hill, but that wasn't too bad considering

As she was going along she thought maybe she should have phoned her parents to let them know, but they probably would have tried to stop her, that was when she decided to go and visit her grandad

She cycled to the hospital and locked her bike up against some railings, she went in and decided to phone her parents, she felt it was the right thing to do, she got her purse out and was about to pick up the phone when she heard her name

"Ash" said Bunty, confused as to why she was here

"Nan" replied Ash, turning towards her

"Is everything alright" asked Bunty

"Yeah" said Ash, but she wasn't fooling Bunty, not this time

"Let's grab a drink and you can tell me all about it" replied Bunty

"Can, I see grandad first" asked Ash, she had always felt closer to her grandad, but lately she was feeling closer to her nan

"Yes, let's grab some drinks and we can go through" replied Bunty

"Okay" replied Ash following Bunty

"So, what happened, I thought you were spending the day with the others" said Bunty

"I was but" started Ash, just then they reached the front of the queue

"What can I get for you today" asked the server

"Ash, what would you like" asked Bunty

"Tea, please" replied Ash

"So, make it two teas and one coffee please" replied Bunty

"Can I get you anything else" asked the server

"No thank you" replied Bunty after she had looked at Ash, who had shook her head

Ash went to get sugar and stirrers while Bunty paid, she had tried to pay but Bunty was having none of it

They walked to the ward in silence; Bunty knew not to push it Ash would carry on when she was ready

"Harold, look who I've found" said Bunty, as they reached his bed

Ash, noticed how tired and small he looked, he must have been having a bad day the other day and her mum didn't want her to see him like this

"Hey, grandad" said Ash, as she smiled at him

"Hello, little one" replied Harold, as they took their seats

"So, what happened" asked Bunty

Ash stared at her cup

"It, doesn't matter, it's just me being silly" replied Ash

"Have you all had an argument" asked Bunty, trying to get to the bottom of it so she could call Jill if she thought she needed to

"No, nothing like that, they were still in bed when I left" replied Ash, truthfully

"So, what is it" asked Bunty

"Don't pressurise the girl, she's come to see her grandad, haven't you" said Harold, seeing Ash was feeling uncomfortable

"I'm, just trying to help" replied Bunty

"I know, but if she wanted to tell us she would have by now" replied Harold

"Please, don't argue" interrupted Ash, she had come here in the hope of taking her mind off of things and now she was causing friction between her grandparents

"It's alright, it's not your fault, we are always like this" replied Harold, seeing how upset Ash had gotten

"Yes, we never agree on anything" added Bunty

"So, what else have you got planned for today" asked Bunty

"I don't know, I thought the others had it all planned, but like normal, it's all last minute and when they can be bothered to show up" replied Ash

"What do you mean" asked Bunty

"Well, they asked mum if she knew what I would like for dinner late last night" replied Ash

"How, do you know this" asked Bunty intrigued

"Mum, asked me this morning, what I wanted" replied Ash

Bunty looked at Harold

"It's not like that, she didn't know I would figure it out, she was just trying to do the right thing" added Ash

"Well, I'm sure it will be lovely, whatever it is" replied Harold

Ash nodded

"So, how are you" asked Ash

"I'm getting better" replied Harold, Bunty looked at him

"That's good, how about you nan" asked Ash

"I'm fine" replied Bunty, but Ash knew that was a lie she looked so tired

"So what time are you coming over" asked Ash

Bunty didn't know Ash knew she was coming over and looked a little shocked

"It's okay, I know mum let it slip that both you and matron where coming over, I think they need to ask you both something anyway" replied Ash

"I was told to get there for about five" replied Bunty

Ash looked a little disappointed and Harold saw this

"What's wrong" asked Harold

Ash looked at her watch

"Nothing, I've got to get going, I want to be there before the others" replied Ash

"I will come and see you tomorrow though, I promise, take care, love you" said Ash, getting up and giving Harold a kiss

"Take care, see you tomorrow" replied Harold

"See you later nan" added Ash going around and giving Bunty a kiss

"Yes, ride carefully" replied Bunty

"Thank you for the tea" added Ash, before she left
