Thank you so much Angels-heart1, carmengmtr, Blondie 20000 and Leann Nickerson for all your feedback.
I also wanted to give credit to Supernatural Wiki for their transcripts. Some dialog is from the show obviously and I'm finding the site to be very useful for these episode tags since I do need a good chunk of show dialog.
Oh Blondie 20000 I feel bad for making Eileen the baddie here since I know that you like her. Obsession is a dangerous thing as we've seen with Dean's obsession with family and Eileen has the same streak in her too. Also I don't think she's a baddie...baddie. Like she points out to Sam she hasn't done anything the boys haven't done and they were done with good intentions in her mind...including working with Chuck. I know the show kinda had Dean flip flop on the whole Michael deal, having him just agree like he did. Hmm you gave me something to think about for maybe a side scene when I tackle Inherit the Earth.
Ok so this is my take of The Trap. The scenes where Chuck is showing Sam the future are in Italics. I followed a fairly decent amount of the episode here like I did with Our Father, Who Aren't in Heaven. I don't think the next two episodes I'm going to follow as strongly and will have more 'independent' scenes like I did with Last Call. I found The Heroes' and The Gamblers to be filler episodes for a good chunk so I think I can play around with the characters more.
Anywho thank you again everyone for all your feedback! Love you guys and all the encouragement! Author's note at the bottom.
Chapter 30
Sam struggled against his restraints. He watched as Chuck and Eileen joined him as he shook his head slightly. He glared at Chuck when he stood before him and said, "hi Sam."
Sam looked at the woman he had started to develop feelings for and asked, "you played me…us?"
Eileen looked at the other hunter, "I'm sorry. He told me if I didn't help him, he would send me back to Hell and I would end up on the rack again. I didn't deserve to go to Hell…I made the deal so that I could help people. He told me I could come back and that once I helped him, I could finally get back to hunt the banshee who killed my parents."
Sam's eyes widened as he said in disgust. "A deal…you did make a deal. You weren't an innocent dragged to Hell because you were killed by one of Crowley's bitches."
"You're going to pass judgement on me! You and your brother break all the rules and it's okay but somebody else does the same damn thing and you both get on your high horses!" She yelled.
"Tsk-tsk," Chuck taunted Sam before he looked at Eileen. "See I told you he would react that way didn't I."
"Yeah, you did." She agreed.
"Why are you doing this?" Sam asked.
Chuck shrugged his shoulders, "I couldn't see you. I needed eyes and ears on the inside. Well, eyes, anyway.
Eileen narrowed her eyes at Chuck, "Screw you." She hissed. "Let's get this done. You said you'd let me go once I finished this."
"Finish what?" Sam asked.
Chuck ignored him as he looked at Eileen, "Yeah. You know, I hate missing my favorite show."
Sam snorted, "So I was right. You're weak."
Chuck cocked his head slightly. "Well, I wouldn't say weak exactly. I mean I piñata Hell but yeah, you figured it out. We're connected by these wounds. Which is annoying, right? And as long as we are, I'm stuck in this world. But you know what they say all good things must come to an end. Now Eileen if you would do the honors."
Sam gulped as Eileen walked towards him, "I'll try to make it quick." She told him as she reached into her back pocket to pull out her portable scalpel, accidently hitting her phone and it began dialing the last number that had called her.

Jo looked up from where she was feeding Ami a bottle as Dean paced back and forth anxiously while trying to reach his brother on the phone, "Come on, Sam!"
Castiel joined them, "Have you tried Eileen?"
"Yeah. Same thing, no answer."
"Dean we don't have much time, we have to go."
"I know, let me try them one more time." Dean said as his fingered hovered getting ready to call Eileen's number again when his phone began to ring. "Eileen, where the hell are you? Eileen?"
"Dean?" Jo said as she put the bottle down."
"Somethings wrong. She facetimes when she calls us." He explained as he clicked the speaker and suddenly they heard Chuck's voice.
"Now Sam I know Eileen doesn't really know what she's doing here, so this might get messy."
"Son of a bitch," Dean roared.
Suddenly they heard rustling on the other end of the line and heard Chuck say, "I think we have an audience. Come on, Eileen…you need to finish your job."
"Sammy," Dean cried into the phone.
He fumed when he heard Chuck's voice say, "Hi Dean."
"Chuck, you dick. You hurt my brother…" Dean started to threatened.
"Bye Dean." They all heard before the line went dead.

Dean raced over and booted up his laptop as he said, "How the hell did this happen? We figured that he would leave Eileen in play…why is he acting now?"
"Maybe he felt Michael and Gabriel," Jo suggested as she laid Ami down in her bouncy chair.
Jo and Castiel exchanged a concern look before Cas asked, "What are you doing?"
Dean looked up at Cas. "Tracking Sam's phone. Okay, here we go. Uh... Milford, Nebraska, at a casino. What the hell is Chuck doing at a casino? Whatever. We need to go."
"To Purgatory," Castiel said firmly.
Dean looked at Cas in shock, "Chuck has Sam. I'm not leaving him."
"Chuck's not gonna kill him. That's not the ending he wants." The angel reasoned.
"Well then he'll torture him," Dean argued.
Castiel stood in front of the elder Winchester. "Dean, will you stop? Just stop being so stupid."
Jo gasped at Castiel's harsh words. "What?" Dean asked in shock.
The angel shook his head, "If we attack Chuck now, we don't have anything that can hurt him. We get that Leviathan blossom, complete Michael's spell, build the Cage. That's our chance. That's the way we'll save Sam, and that's the way we'll save the world."
"I'm not leaving my brother in Chuck's grasped!" Dean snapped.
"Dean, Castiel's right." Jo said as she reached out and grabbed Dean's hand. "Look, I'll call Ash and my father…they could head to the Nebraska to check things out and keep watch." She could see the doubt in his eyes as she stepped closer and reached up to stroke his cheek. "This is our best chance Dean we have to take it."
Dean looked at Jo and then at Castiel and nodded his head. "Fine, you tell Ash and Bill to just keep watch. They aren't to go into that casino without me."
"I know, I'll explain it to them." She told him as he leaned down and kissed her softly on her lips. "Good luck and be safe."
He gave her a quick nod before turning to Castiel. "Let's get this damn blossom and end this."
SPNSPNSPN
Chuck nodded his head approvingly, "that's some fancy knife work there. Nothing like the way Jo hacked up your brother's shoulder."
Sam narrowed his eyes at Chuck when he said Jo's name. Chuck smirked at him and leaned closer, "I have to say when I brought Jo and Mama Harvelle into the story I knew he would be drawn to her. It went even better, instead of her just being a sex buddy that he could occasionally hunt with he actually began falling for her."
Sam winced as Eileen reached over and grabbed a pair of oversize tweezers to pull out the bullet. Chuck stood up and continued. "Of course I couldn't really keep her around and had to get rid of her and her mother since he could have found happiness with her."
"What?" Sam asked.
Chuck snorted, "really Sam…you two must admit that killing Jo and Ellen off made when you went to the pit more fun to watch Dean. See with Jo he would have actually been able to gradually move on but with Lisa…he was miserable pretending to be alright…to be normal. Trying to pretend to be happy acting like an average Joe with a ready-made family and boring 9 to 5 job when all he wanted was his precious baby brother and to be back in the game. With Jo he could have at least have half of his heart desire which is better than none."
Sam felt the tears slip down his cheeks as he realized that Jo and Ellen deaths were for nothing more than for Chuck's sick amusement. "Why are you telling me this?"
Chuck rolled his eyes, "Sam…are we really going do this dance. Yes I know Jo's back and yes I know about her and Dean's daughter. Seems Death thought it would be fun to deny Jo back into Heaven after I let Osiris use her to make Dean feel guilty." He explained with a sigh before he continued. "Granted it's my fault that I didn't keep better tabs on her after you took out Osiris and maybe I should have watched Michael a little more carefully once Dean agreed to be his sword but honestly…they were a little boring together."
"Bastard, you will never get your claws into them!" Sam hissed.
Chuck grinned as he watch Eileen finally pulled out the bullet that was connecting them. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, savoring finally being released from the connection. His eyes flew open as he spun around to glare at Eileen.
"What did you do?!" He screamed.
"I got the bullet out," she said as she backed up slightly.
"You screwed up…it didn't work! You didn't sever the connection!" He roared as Sam head hung in exhaustion.
"Please, I did everything you asked of me… I spied in them… I got the bullet out like you told me," Eileen cried as Chuck stormed towards her.
Sam lifted his head and watched through heavy lidded eyes as Chuck used one hands to lift Eileen off the ground by her neck before saying coldly, "enjoy going back on the rack Sweetheart." Sam gulped when Chuck used his power to snap Eileen neck before dropping her to the ground.
Chuck slowly turned back towards Sam and said, "now let's see what's going on in there and why removing the bullet didn't work. Shall we," Chuck asked the younger Winchester.

"Hey Jo, we haven't seen anyone go in or out of the casino," Ash said into his phone.
Bill held his hand out towards Ash urging him to pass him the phone, "let me speak to her."
"Hold on Jo, Bill wants to talk to you," Ash told her as he passed the phone to the other man.
"Hey Honey, I think we should go inside and check things out…yeah I know what Dean said but we've been out here for hours. Dean and Castiel aren't even back yet and won't be here for a while. I don't think we can just leave Sam in there much longer."
Ash watched his old friend and sighed when he finally relented and said, "Okay honey. We'll wait and give them the rest of their time to get back. Just call to let us know. Love you too. Bye."
"So we stay waiting out here. We don't even know if they're still in there." Ash said in frustration.
"Oh they're in there," Gabriel announced suddenly from the back seat.
"Holy crap on a cracker, what are you doing here?" Ash asked as Bill and him turned to look at the archangel.
"Jo sent me. I don't even need to go inside to feel him…to feel my father. I can feel his power is growing a little stronger too."
"Stronger?" Bill asked not liking the sound of that.
"Yes, stronger." Gabriel said somberly. "He's not going anywhere as long as he needs Sam."
"Then Sam's still alive?" Ash asked.
"He's alive and trust me he's not going to kill Sam. They're still connected thanks to that damn bullet. You two keep watch. I need to get back to Jo and Ami. I'll make sure Dean and Castiel get here as soon as we're done with the spell to create the cage."
Ash and Bill blinked when the angel suddenly vanished in front of their eyes. "I will never get use to that," Bill said as he turned back around to keep watch.

Chuck looked at Sam, trying to understand why the link wasn't severe completely when Eileen finally got the bullet out. "How are you still like this?"
"Like what?" Sam asked as he tried to fight the wave of nausea.
"This...defiant," Chuck hissed.
Sam laughed, "It's not my first time on the rack. You know that better than anyone."
Chuck shook his head, "no, no, no, no. No, this is more. This is...hope. Ah. That's what's stopping me. You still think that Dean and Cas are gonna fly through those doors just in the nick of time. You still think that you're the hero of this story. You still think you can win."
"Not think…know. We will beat you!" Sam hissed defiantly.
SPNSPNSPN
Jo sat down across from Gabriel, "how much time is left?"
"They've got thirty one minutes and fourteen seconds."
Jo chewed on her lower lip, "if they don't make it…I'm going to need you to help us rescue Sam. I'm not leaving him with Chuck if Dean and Cas don't make it back."
"You don't have to ask; I will stand with you and the others. We won't desert Sam." Gabriel vowed.
SPNSPNSPN
Sam watched as Chuck reached into his pocket and pulled out a pocket watch. "How do I put this to you, Sam? Your hope is misplaced. Now, I'm not saying you can't win. I mean, if you stay firm and Dean and Cas don't screw up their part and with the exact right roll of the dice you could. But what I'm saying is that you don't want to. You think you do but trust me you don't. Not if you knew. Not if you could see what I see. You want to know what happens when you win? Here. I'll show you."
Sam watched a version of himself, Dean, Jo and Ami in the bunker library. Jo was scrolling through her phone.
"Oh wow," the blonde said.
"Find something…a hunt?" Sam asked as he made Ami's stuffed bear dance across the floor causing the infant to giggle happily.
"Nah, just the guy who disappeared in Florida. Turns out he snuck into a golf course to go ball diving…"
"Ball diving?" Dean asked, his interest peaked now from the research he was doing on his laptop..
"You know those guys who break into golf courses and dive for the balls in the water traps then recycle them," she explained.
"You're joking…grown men actually do this?" Dean asked.
"Sure do and they can make some serious cash doing it," she told him.
"Umm Jo, the case?" Sam said trying to get them back on track.
Jo smiled, "Sorry Sammy…turns out there's no hunt. Seems the guy didn't do his research…there was a family of alligators living in the water and they didn't take kindly to him invading their home."
Dean snorted, "that's one for the alligators." They all look up when Cas came in carrying four beers. "Ooh, jackpot," he exclaimed as he snapped his laptop shut and accepted his beer. "Thanks. Alright, well, I say let's call it, hmm? Movie night?"
Jo grinned at Dean, "okay but remember it's my turn to pick the movie and no griping."
Dean's response was cut short when Sam's phone rang, "hey Jody. How's the hunt going?"
"Sam," he heard her cry and he quickly put the phone on speaker.
"Jody?"
They all frowned when they heard the older woman take a shaky breath and listen as she spoke. "It was just supposed to be a little nest, maybe three vampires. Claire and I went in armed to the teeth, but there were more. So many more. She's dead, Sam. Claire's dead. Claire's dead.
"Noooo!" Sam shouted as the scene suddenly ended and he looked around the casino before he finally saw Chuck sitting across from him with a twisted grin on his face.
"Oh, that was just the beginning." Chuck taunted him. "No. This is the rest. The other side of victory. What happens next," he held up the watch, "you just set it forward to any day or time, and you can see it all.
Sam shook his head, "Nothing you show me will change my mind."
Chuck she his shoulders, "then it doesn't change your mind but come on, Sam. Don't you want to see the future?"
SPNSPNSPN
Dean looked at his watch and saw they had little less than two hours. He looked up when he heard Cas say, "sorry about Benny."
He saw the way the angel was eyeing him and gave him a stiff nod, "I owed him my life and he sacrificed himself to get Sam out of this place."
Castiel sighed, "Well, this place will bring that out in you. Guilt. It was my fault the Leviathan got out. It was my fault we were here the first time. I carry that guilt every day."
Dean cleared his throat, "I know you're sorry, Cas. That you're sorry about Mom and…"
Castiel looked over at the hunter, "I was talking about Jack. I already apologized to you about Mary, you just refused to hear it."
"Sorry I brought it up. Maybe if you didn't just up and leave..." Dean huffed, annoyed the angel chose now to discuss their issues.
"You never really forgave me. You were too angry. Oh and in case you forget; I didn't leave….Gabriel put me in the Ma'lak box." He reminded the hunter.
"And if you didn't have a history of running off on us maybe it wouldn't have been so easy to believe," Dean snapped defensively as he looked over at the angel and saw the way he narrowed his eyes at him. "Let's just get the damn flower and get back and rescue Sam."
"Yes…since that really is all you care about." The angel said as he quickened his pace and put some distance between them and let his words sink in.

Sam eyes narrowed as he watched another version of himself and Dean covered in blood as they climbed into the Impala.
His brother turned and looked at him, "I know what you're thinking. But we did everything we could."
"No, we didn't. We could've gone in there sooner," Sam argued.
"The place was crawling with wolves. We had to wait."
"And because we waited, the victims…they all died. They bled out on the floor. Now, if Cas was still here, he could've healed them."
"Yeah, well, he's not. He took off when we came back from Purgatory."
Sam turned and looked at Chuck in confusions, "Cas?"
Chuck smirked at Sam before nodding towards the scene as it continued in front of him and he heard his brother saying.
"They're winning, Sam. The monsters are winning."
The image ended as quickly as it started and Sam frowned as he pondered what Chuck was showing him. Could this really be their lives if they trap Chuck?
SPNSPNSPN
Dean watched as Cas went to pick one of the Leviathan blossom and frowned when he stood still, "Cas?"
"It's an angel trap, we've been tricked."
The Leviathan smirked at them, "Mother's got beef with you both."
Castiel looked at Dean and then back at the Leviathan, "Eve?"
"Killing her alphas, swallowing her Leviathan. Bringing you to her should earn us a nice reward." The creature taunted.
Dean swallowed as he ready his weapon, "what do you mean, "us"?
Cas looked up and saw a group of Leviathans coming out of the forest, "Dean!" He shouted in warning.
Dean raised his weapon and shot one of the creatures with Borax and was getting ready to take aim to take out another one when he was knocked unconscious.

Dean's eyes fluttered opened as he slowing sat up and looked around, realizing he was along. "No," he shouted as he realized they had screwed the pooch. Swallowing the bile making its way up his throat he called out. "Cas? Cas!"

Sam watched himself loading a gun while Dean watches him wearily and said.
"What are you doing? Come on, man. We just got back."
Sam continues to load his gun, "I…If we don't hustle, the nest will move on.
Dean shook his head, "No, Sam. It doesn't matter."
Sam looked over at his brother, "What are you saying?"
"What I've been trying to say for months. It's time... time to stand down."
"You want to quit? What's happened to you, Dean? Ever since…"
Dean gazed at his brother, the pain in every breath he took evident, "Ever since what? We lost pretty much everyone we've ever cared about? Ever since the Mark made Cas go crazy? Since he…since he killed my Jo and Amelia. Ever since I had to bury him in a Ma'lak box again? Ever since then? Yeah. You know why? Cause the monsters…they're everywhere. Everywhere! What are we doing, it's not even Hunting anymore. It's whack-a-mole. We don't even save people. Every friend we've ever had is either dead, or they got wise and they packed it in. My Jo…my Ami…" he cried.
Sam watch the other version of himself ignore his brother's pain and instead argued.
"Jody's still fighting, and Bobby…"
The other Dean snorted, "Bobby has a death wish, and you know it. And Jody, ever since what happened to Donna and the girls, she does, too. And after Eileen's betrayed... so do you.
Sam's jaw clenched at the mention of the former hunter's name, "No. What happened to Butch and Sundance? Dean, what happened to going out swinging?"
Dean looked over at a picture, one of the pictures Jo had placed there an eternity ago of him, Jo and Ami and sighed, "We lost, brother. We lost. I'm done."
The other Sam watched as Dean turned and walked away, screaming after him. "No, no, no. Dean... Dean!"
SPNSPNSPN
Sam looked around for Chuck, "This is a lie. Chuck, I know what you're doing. Chuck?!"
He jumped slightly when Chuck was suddenly standing next to him, "enjoying the show?"
Sam glared at the other man, "You're just showing me this so I give up, so I lose hope."
Chuck shrugged his shoulders, "I'm just the messenger, Sam. I'm sharing my omniscience with you."
"No, the Dean I know...the Dean who raised me…he would never give up, no matter how bad things got.
Chuck smirked at the younger Winchester, "really. After watching the woman he love die again…this time murdered by his best friend. After watching his second child die at the hands of one of his 'brothers'. Well, he does. He will. This is the truth, Sam. This is what comes next."
SPNSPNSPN
Dean looked down at his phone and saw he had less than thirty minutes before the portal would close and he wouldn't be able to get back to his world…his family. "Cas!" he shouted in frustration.
He looked around in despair, "no, no, no." He said before bowing his head slightly and began praying. "Cas? Cas, I hope you can hear me... that wherever you are, it's not too late. I should've known you were in trouble. You're my best friend, but I just believed you had taken off cause it was easier than admitting I was wrong."
Taking a shaky breath, he knelt next to the tree he was leaning against. "I…ohhh…I don't know why I get so angry. I just know…I know that it's…it's just always been there…this anger and when things go bad, it just…it comes out. I can't…I can't stop it. No matter how bad I want to, I just can't stop it. I'm trying to be better…to not let it consume me for Jo and Ami but I need to be better for Sam…for you. What you said isn't true…not really. I…I forgive you. Of course I forgive you. I'm sorry it took me so long…I'm sorry it took me till now to say it. Cas, I'm…I'm so sorry. Man, I hope you can hear me. I hope you can hear me." He said as he wiped his eyes and slowly got up. "Okay," he murmured to himself as he started back know the only way he truly would fail is if he didn't make it back to his world even without the blossom.
SPNSPNSPN
Sam watched the over version of his brother sitting in the bunker, holding Ami's favorite stuff animal in his hands. He watched as the other him walked over to the broken man.
"I'm raiding that nest with or without you."
The other Dean looked up at him and sighed, "then I guess I don't have a choice, do I?"
Chuck smirked at Sam as he watched himself and a defeated Dean climb the bunker stairs and leave. "Oh. They're back. Oh, Dean, bad idea. You should've trusted your gut.
Sam shook his head, "No. It can't end like this!"
"See for yourself. You're holding the watch." Chuck encouraged him and smirked when he saw the way Sam kept turning the nob, stuck on the date of December 9th, 2022.
"It's stuck," Sam snapped.
Chuck held his hand up in mock surrender, "guess that's as far as it goes, Sammy. The end of the line."

Dean stopped as he saw the portal up ahead. Taking a deep breath he started towards the opening but stopped when he heard a noise to the side.
"Dean," Cas said as he sat by the tree he had been waiting by.
"Cas?"
The angels smiled, "you made it."
Dean shook his head in disbelief, "I made it?" He said as Castiel stood and hugged him. "You okay?"
"I'm fine.," the angel reassured him before explaining what had happened after Dean had been knocked unconscious. He finished his story by showing the hunter the blossom they came for.
Dean laughed as he took in the flower, "you did it. You did it, Cas.
Cas smiled at the other man' "Well, they are still after me. We should hurry.
Dean reached out and grabbed the angel's arm, "Cas, I need to say something."
He shook his head slightly, "it's fine Dean. You don't have to say it. I heard your prayer." He told him before nodding towards the opening. "Now, let's get out of here."
SPNSPNSPN
Sam frowned as he watch the other version of himself and Dean inside some no-name motel.
The other him looked at Dean and said, "alright, only one way in."
The other Dean gave the other him a grin, "let them come."
"We're outnumbered."
Dean shrugged his shoulders, "what else is new? Those bastards take us down, at least we go down together.
"Butch and Sundance," Sam said as stretch his neck.
"Go out swinging," Dean agreed.
Sam looked down and checked Chuck's watch. He looked up in time to see Jody, Bobby a few other hunters climbing the stairs of the motel. The stood in front of the door and he gulped when he heard Bobby say to Jody, "hold up. You sure you want to do this, Jody? It's Sam and Dean."
He couldn't contain the gasp when he saw the other Sam and Dean inside the room look at each other and smile before baring vampire fangs and preparing for the oncoming fight. He watched as the hunters broke down the door and the battle began.
He watched in horror as the other him killed a hunter while Dean threw one out the window. His breathing became labored as he watched Jody shoot the Sam and felt tears prick his eyes when Dean attacked Jody and ripped out her throat. He watched as Bobby came through the door and swung his machete and beheaded the other him.
He was pulled out of the vision to see Chuck watching him and swallowed when he asked him. "So, what'd you think? I'm sorry, kid. It's a crappy ending. You and your brother deserve better."
"Yeah, right." Sam hissed.
"No. I mean it. It hurts me to see you go out like that. Listen, I know our friendship has seen better days. But you have to know that you and your brother matter to me…deeply. You still do. I want better for you both.
Sam cocked his head slightly, "You know, Chuck... I've seen your plans. Dean and me. Cain and Abel."
Chuck shook his head, "you don't know what you saw, Sam."
"I know it didn't look better to me."
"Okay, so, that way? Hmm? You watching everyone you love die…Jo…sweet baby Amelia? You becoming monsters? You being killed off by your friends? You really like that ending better?" He asked knowingly.

Jo looked down at her sleeping daughter before asking, "how much time?"
"One minute and fourteen seconds," Gabriel told her, watching as she began to shake slightly. He got up to grab a chair for her but stopped suddenly when Dean and then Castiel came running through the portal.
"DEAN!" Jo cried as she ran over and flung her arms around him and pulled him in for a passionate kiss.
"I should go to another dimension more often," he panted as they broke apart.
"Ass," Jo laughed as she kissed him again before pulling back and looked over at Castiel. "Cas," she said as she took a few steps and hugged the angel.
"So were you successful?" Gabriel asked and smiled when the younger angel pulled out the blossom. "Let's do this spell and end this."
SPNSPNSPN
Jo bounced a fussing Ami in her arms as she watched Castiel recite the spell as he held his hand up and went to slice his hand to add his blood to the spell.
Dean reached out and grabbed his arm, "wait…wait…wait, are you sure?"
Castiel looked at his friend. "Dean, you have already taken the Mark. You cannot take it again. I can. It is the only way."
Dean nodded his head as the angel sliced his hand and bleed into the bowl, "Right…okay." He said as he dropped the match into the bowl while Cas held the black sphere above, drawing in the smoke and capturing the power before handing the sphere to Dean.
Cas saw the way his friend looked at him in confusion. "Since I am taking the Mark, someone else will have to destroy this. You or Sam." He explained.
Jo swallowed as Dean slipped the sphere into his pocket before turning towards Gabriel and said, "I would prefer to have you with us but I need you to stay with Jo and Ami."
"Already planned to," the archangel said.
Dean nodded his head as he walked over to Jo and his daughter. Reaching up he cupped Jo's face. "I'll send Bill and Ash back to their home base when we get there. We can't chance losing them if this doesn't work."
Jo closed her eyes as took a deep breath. "I feel like we've been doing nothing but saying goodbye lately."
"I know," he told her, his voice cracking. "If this doesn't work…"
"Don't…don't say it," Jo begged softly.
Dean took a shaky breath, "I need you to know that you…that you both are taken care of."
Jo nodded her head, "I know…I…know what I'm supposed to do."'
He gave her a sad smile as he looked down at the sleeping infant in her arms, "thank you."
Jo looked at Dean in confusion, "what?"
"For loving me…for giving me this amazing gift…for loving Sam…for accepting us, warts and all." He told her.
"Ditto," Jo cried as wrapped her free arm around Dean and hugged him..
Dean burst out laughing as he kissed the crown of her head. "I declare my love and you give me ditto."
Jo sniffled, "shut up. I can't help that you render me speechless there."
"Dean," Cas called. "We should go now."
"Yeah, okay," he said as he pulled back and leaned down and kissed his daughter's forehead before turning and kissing Jo.
"I'll see you when you beat Chuck and bring Sammy home," Jo told him with a firm nod.
"Yes ma'am," Dean replied as he stole one more kiss before turning and following Castiel out of the room to begin the final leg of their journey.

Sam licked his lips as he shouted at Chuck, "it'll be better! It'll be better! It'll be better! If we win ….when we win…when we beat you! I will make it better!
Chuck snorted, "you can't, Sam. You, Sam Winchester, have been playing fast and loose with the laws of nature and magic for a very long time. You and your brother. Always breaking the rules. And that's what I love about you, Sam. It's so heroic. It's so…hmmm….Promethean. But there's still so much about the fabric of the universe that you don't know that you can't know. Because you're only humans. But I'm God, think about what I've shown you. Look beyond the Mark…beyond you and Dean fanging out. It's heartbreaking, but not the headline news."
"The monsters," Sam argued.
"The monsters. Without me, it's a law of nature. Dark forces will prevail and monsters will rule. You, your brother and everyone you love will die. Can you really live with that?"
Sam shook his head in disbelief when Chuck was suddenly gone and he saw his brother and Cas running into the casino. He felt a wave of relief course through his body and called out, "Dean? Help. Help me!"
Dean rushed over to his brother and quickly cut his restraints, "hey. Where's Chuck?"
"I don't know. He's close." Sam told him as the stood up from the chair and pulled his brother in for a hug.
The brother's pulled apart when Chuck suddenly appeared and said, "hi, Dean."
The elder Winchester turned and punched Chuck in the face and quipped, "you know I had to."
God nodded his head as he pulled back and returned the punch, sending Dean flying across the room, "me, too."
Cas watched the scene unfold in front of him and called out to his friend, "Sam." The angel held up the sphere before rolling towards the younger hunter.
"Sammy! Smash it! Now!" Dean cried as he struggled to stand up.
Sam reached down and lifted the object before looking over at the intended target. "Well, Sam?" Chuck asked.
Sam looked over at his brother remembering everything he saw and swallowed. He couldn't chance it. Not when everyone…Jody…Donna…the girls…oh lord Jo…his Ami…he couldn't do it not knowing that trapping Chuck could make thing worst and he dropped to his knees and let the sphere drop from his hands and rolled over towards Chuck who stopped it by trapping it under his foot.
Dean watched his brother in horror and shouted, "Sam!"
"I can't," he said sadly.
Dean turned towards Chuck and hissed, "what did you do to him?"
Chuck sighed as he heals the wound in his should and smirks when he sees Sam's wound has healed too. "Oh, man! Yeah, that's the stuff!"
Castiel gasped as he felt the change, he could feel how powerful Chuck suddenly was, "what happened?"
"Short version…Sammy lost hope, and now I'm free." He told his captive audience and cocked his head slightly when he saw the way Dean and Castiel looked at Sam. "Hey, take it easy on the kid. It took a lot to beat it out of him." He stared into Dean's eyes as he lifted his foot and crushed the sphere with his foot.
"No! No!" Dean cried. Taking a deep breath, he looked at Chuck and asked, "well, what now? You're not gonna dust us."
"Oh, yeah? Why not?"
"Because you're holding out for your big finish. Yeah, we know about your galaxy-brained idea. How you think this story is gonna go. Sam got a little look into your draft folder." Dean said.
Chuck laughed slightly, "Sam's visions, they weren't drafts. They were memories. My memories. Of other Sams and other Deans in other worlds. But guess what, just like you, they didn't think they'd do it, either. But in the end they did. So you will, too.
Dean shook his head "No. Not this Sam. And not this Dean. So you go back to Earth 2 and play with your other toys. Because we will never give you the ending that you want."
"We'll see," Chuck taunted before he vanished in front of their eyes.

Jo panted as she collapsed next to Dean, "wow."
"Wow," Dean huffed as he took a few deep breaths. "I'll take that as a compliment then."
"Oh trust me it was definitely a compliment," she said with a laugh.
"Satisfied then?"
Jo smiled as she leaned over and kissed his shoulder and purred, "multiple orgasms Baby...satisfied doesn't even come close to how good I feel right now."
Dean grinned, "I aim to please."
Jo watched as he rolled over and got out of the bed, slipping his pajama bottoms on, "where are you going?"
"Sam's up. I wanted to give him some time to digest everything but I heard him heading down towards the kitchen…I think he's ready to talk." He explained.
Jo rolled on her side and watched Dean toss on a tee shirt before grabbing his bathrobe. "I still can't believe everything you told me…about those visions that Chuck forced him to watch."
"Chucks a prick like that," Dean said as he went over and leaned down and kissed Jo. "Get some sleep, I plan to ravish you when I get back." He told her as he waggled his eyebrows suggestively.
"I'm going to hold you to that," Jo purred as she reached up and pulled Dean closer and kissed him before gently pushing him away. "Now go and talk to your brother."

Dean walked into the kitchen and saw Sam sitting at the table nursing a beer. He went over to the fridge and grabbed a beer before walking over and sitting across from his brother. Popping the cap off of the beer, he raised it towards Sam and smiled slightly when the younger man lifted his own bottle and clanged long necks.
"How you holding up?" Dean asked.
Sam laughed, "want to narrow that down. Are you talking about finding out I was being used by Eileen…being held hostage and having a bullet dug out of my shoulder…or watching the horror show that would be our lives if we trapped Chuck?
"All of the above," Dean said.
"That was our chance... to stop Chuck. But then what he showed me, what would happen if we trapped him….Dean I believed him. I still do."
Dean nodded his head, "well, that's good enough for me." He said as Castiel and Gabriel came into the kitchen.
Sam looked up at the angels, "Okay, so, what now?"
"Well, Chuck's gone, but..." Castiel began.
"He'll be back," Dean finished.
"If we can't kill him or trap him?" Sam asked.
"Then we find another way," Dean reassured his brother. He looked over at the angels and frowned at the way Gabriel's back stiffened. "What's wrong?"
Gabriel turned and looked at his brother, "do you feel it?"
Castiel nodded his head slightly, "shifting…power is shifting."
"Well Chuck's powered up now. Is that what you feel?" Dean asked.
Gabriel shrugged his shoulders, "I don't know. I can't pinpoint where it's coming from."
"Wonderful…things keep getting better and better," Dean said with an eyeroll as he stood up. "Okay I think it's safe to say nothing else is going to happen tonight. Sammy we'll figure this out…we always do." Dean reassured his brother before he stood up.
"Where are you going?" the younger Winchester asked.
Dean gave his brother a grin, "Jo and I are catching up."
"Ewww…forget I asked. Remember by niece is in the next room…try not to scar her life."
"Can't make any promises," Dean teased as he slapped his brother on the shoulder and headed back to his and Jo's bedroom. Wondering what exactly Gabriel and Castiel were both feeling.

Jack paced around the Empty anxiously. He could feel that something had changed with Chuck and he was worried about his family. He stopped when Billie walked towards him and told him, "It's time."

A/N: Yup Eileen is gone (sorry Blondie 200000) and I will be bringing Jack into the story since I'm following the remaining episodes and putting more of my spin on them. Now I just need to figure out what I'm going to do with my poor little Ami...I don't want her to grow up overnight :D.
Thanks again.
