Woah I'm honestly surprised people read this. So surprised that I rushed to make another chapter... and here it is. The chapter is a bit short but hopefully as I go along the chapters will start to lengthen! So... enjoy! Chapter 1

Ranma was bored and miffed at his father getting in trouble with the authorities again so he disappeared into the market, looking for something to fill his stomach. The aroma of cooked lamb took him to a small vendor ran by a young woman in a grease stained apron. Using the power of youthful age, something that his father had taught him to do, he was able to get several cuts of meats. He happily and greedily wolfed down the meat, slight marveling at the taste of the protein. He was about to finish the last of the chop when he saw a small girl, younger than him, approach. The child had brunette hair cut short and messily. She was wearing ripped and dirtied up rags and was looking between Ranma and the chop in Ranma's hand. Her unique red eyes imploring Ranma's own blue eyes.

Ranma looked between the meat in his hand and his cheerless puppy eyed peer. Ranma grumbled to himself and hesitantly extended his hand with the food to which the girl greedily reached out and grabbed before quickly scoffing down the food at a much faster rate than Ranma ate. After licking her undersized fingers to capture the taste, she looked up at the older boy and smiled. She then ran off to Kami knows where.

Ranma sighed again and walked around the market to explore the wares advertised by the vendors around him. Eventually he got bored and sat down at a fountain, he then looked up to see a magnificent stone castle. It was significantly different to the castles he had seen in Japan. Deciding he had nothing better to do, he started to stride towards the bridge connecting the mountain to the palace. As he moved, he couldn't help but wonder about the sudden increase of noise in the city. There was certainly a lot of running feet and yelling. Something about catching a criminal and a diamond.

As he was walking towards the start of the bridge many guards brushed past him. Eventually he reached the start of the bridge, but before he could take a step on the bridge he was stopped by a gentle baritone voice. "Are you lost little boy?" A shadow towered over his body.

Ranma looked up and to see a graying haired man looking down at him. His uniform distinguished him as a higher guard, most likely he was in charge of blocking the way to the castle. This only helped to get him curious as to what or who was in the castle. "No." Ranma replied in his best English, "can look around?" he said pointing to himself and to the castle.

The old man sighed and set his large hands on Ranma's filthy shoulders. "Do you know where your mother and father are? Let's go find them." Ranma squirmed under the hands of the guard, surprising him with his strength.

"I take care myself!" Ranma claimed.

The aged guard sighed again before taking the hand of the foreigner and started to pull him into the marketplace again. Before Ranma could retort, a man came dashing towards the two, his eyes locked on the older man.

"Sir! We need your help! There are Frenchmen in the Kingdom hunting down a man wearing a white outfit with a glasses and a bandanna! Apparently the man stole a diamond of sorts from them. Their captain is requesting the arrest of the man and for help to capture this criminal."

The older man looked up curiously from Ranma, letting go of his hand. Ranma snuck off across the bridge into the courtyard of the castle, unnoticed by the conversing guards. The conversation led his thoughts to his father and he couldn't but help and think what in the world his father did and where he was hiding. But he was broken out of his pondering as he looked up in wonder at the outstanding craft of the castle of Arendelle. After a moment he walked through the opened door of the castle.

Genma looked around from his hiding spot, clinging for his dear life under one of the two bridges that led into the grandeur castle of Arendelle. Above him, he could hear the marching of footsteps hurriedly travelling across the stone bridge. He could hear a mix of shouts in dominantly English intermingled with some French.

All he did was take a shiny blue rock from inside a castle at night. It was only a diamond. Nothing that warranted this much arresting. He let a chuckle out, even if those men did catch him they wouldn't find what they were looking for, he had hid it. Thinking about where he hid the crystal, he wondered where his son went. He had disappeared sometime and he couldn't find him as he was fleeing from his captors. All of the sudden he sneezed, the cause was unknown (or was it?), and the force of the sneeze made his hands slip out of the hand holds of the bridge and into the water down below, causing a large splash to be heard by the people above.

Genma looked up from under the water and could see the faces of his captors peering from above the bridges. He saw their hands pointing at him and he could hear the muffled shouting of the men. All of a sudden, a large net fell on top of him, tangling him and preventing his movement. Using his martial arts prowess he cut through the rope net and started to swimming off back to the city. Eventually, he resurfaced away from the men chasing him and started to tread the water. He couldn't just swim off to hiding without his son. He had to stay where in the kingdom. Cursing his son and bad luck, he swam back to the city.

Ranma rubbed his nose after sneezing. He started to walk through the enormous walls of the castle, stretching his neck to see the enormous paintings of kings and queens in far off lands. He admired the luxury of the castle, something he never saw on the road, always traveling and training. Sleeping on the cold hard ground and eating minute food. Lost in his admiration he suddenly stopped when he heard sounds.

He muttered to himself "Is that singing…?" He strained his ears to hear the sound clearly. "Yep that's singing. I wonder why they're singing…" Curious, Ranma wandered off towards the source of the mysterious singing.

"I've never seen you anymore. Come out the door. It's like you've gone awayyy. We used to-"

"Why you singing?" an accented voice called out.

It was a strange scene to Ranma, he came into the room to see a five year old girl prancing and skipping through the hall and passed him, seemingly oblivious to her surroundings. The girl had ginger hair tied in two small ponytails adorning her small cute freckled red tinged face. Ranma also noticed a lock of hair was white. She had wide blue eyes a shade lighter than Ranma's own. The girl wore a green and blue short sleeve dress which showed her pale skin.

The girl jumped and shrieked in fright and stared wide eye at the newcomer, a bit scared but mostly curious. "Who are you?"

"Ranma"

"Ran-ma" She sounded out, giggling to herself "that's a funny sounding name!" She gave a once over at Ranma "You look funny."

Ranma huffed, crossing his arms, "What your name?"

"I'm Anna!" She giggled some more. "You talk funny too!"

Ranma was slightly peeved at being slighted whether or not it was on purpose. He pushed that aside and asked, tilting his head to the side questioningly, "why you singing?"

The girl dubbed Anna giggled uncontrollably some more until noticing the scent the boy had. Pinching her nose with her tiny fingers she said, "Ewww you smell."

Ranma looked down at himself. Indeed he was smelly, his clothe was dirtied and still damp from the swim he had to get here. "Yeah I do. I have no bath for awhile." Darn it was challenging to speak in English. He waved that aside. "So why you singing?" He repeated.

Anna smiled, waving two dolls in his face that he hadn't noticed before. One had blonde hair and a blue dress with a yellow crown and the other had red hair in a green dress with a matching crown. She declared cheerily, "I'm singing so my big sister Elsie can go make a snowman with me!"

Ranma was no stranger to snow. But there was one thing that made no absolute sense. "But how can make snowman?"

"What do you mean?" Anna chirped innocently, tilting her head slightly to the side the same way Ranma had done earlier.

Ranma briefly wondered if the guards were to prevent crazy girls like her from going out. Ranma said one word in reply to her question "Summer." He then looked and pointed to a nearby window to which Anna dash towards to as fast as her little legs could carry her. She smudged her face against the cool glass of the window and gazed outside. Sure enough the sun was out and not a cloud in sight, in fact she saw green grass and flowers with their vibrant colors. Anna backed away from the window, opening her mouth as if she never realized that it was the middle of summer.

Ranma sweat dropped heavily watching her action. He couldn't help but ask "Are you sick?"

Anna ignored the question and contorted her face to an adorable bemused face with a bunched up nose. "I remember building a snowman in the summer…"

"…" There was a moment of silence as both children stared at each other. Until Ranma broke it "Are you sure no sick?"

Anna puffed up her little cheeks in slight anger, "I'm not sick!" She stomped a foot in a miniature tantrum. Her face turned a little sad, "but I think Elsie might be sick. She never goes out her room anymore." Her head tilted down in sadness. "We used to be the best of friends."

"But if sick why would play?" Ranma inquired ignoring the sadness of the girl in front of him.

Once again Anna slowly opened her mouth like a fish, and then suddenly frowned cutely, crossing her arms before declaring "I don't know."

The raven haired boy stood there thinking. He soon asked "Where's your sister?"

And in reply Anna pointed.

He was a shadow. Quiet like a shadow and light as a shadow. The trained martial artist cautiously moved through the streets, searching for his meal ticket. He ducked for cover under anything he can find whenever a guard came up, behind flower pots, behind nuns, and behind the guard himself. Eventually in the sea of people he saw a small black ponytail bobbing up and down. He dashed with the grace of a rampaging elephant and quickly snatched the boy up and started running. "Ranma my boy, we're getting out of here." Genma kept running with the boy in his arms. He only stopped when he got onto a small hill outside the city. On the top of the hill he let go of his 'son' to reveal a crying boy that was nothing like his son. Genma stood stupefied, and the crying turned to anger and the boy kicked the stunned man in the crotch and the large man toppled over the hill and started to tumble down. The sight of a large man falling rolling tumbling down the hill obviously did not go unnoticed and the chase began again.
