chapter 10
Donatello, Mikey sat aside as they waited for thier brother, Leonardo to read the chapters that they had completed with. Raphael leaned against the doorframe, his arms folded across his plastron and waited. The blue clad terrapin, leaned back in the chair and squinted his eyes close as he slowly exhaled.
"Well?" Donatello asked. Mikey glanced between the pair, silent. Laid one elbow upon the ledge of his forearm as he held in half folded hold across his plastron. Finally, leonardo answered.
"Who was the author again? I would like to comment on the story that is written so far." Donatello reached for the keyboard and typed in the author name then quickly explained that his brother would have to create a email to able in commenting of the fiction. Leonardo agreed and did as that. Raphael wondered what was going on and asked.
"So you are going to join in this?" Leonardo glanced over his shoulder toward raphael and replied. "Well, maybe you should. Never know what you may enjoy raphie." Leonardo smiled.
Raphael exhaled, abruptly and was at first relucant then agreed in defeat. "Fine, I'll do it then. What do I need to do, brainiac?" Mikey chuckled and lightly patted his brother on the shell and said, commenting. "You wont regret it, raphie. There are tons of stories about us. Plenty to read."
"Yeah, yeah. Whatever you say, where do I start?" Raphael answered, folding his arms after making a account. "Depends on what you want to read." Donatello said, smiled. He sighed and said, before walking out.
"Let me know when you guys are finished."
"Maybe we should read one what Donnie is reading?" Mikey suggested. "What is donnie reading?" Leonardo asked.
"Pains and gains of motherhood." Donatello answered, retrieving the link to the story. "Would you like to read the beginning or from where I am at?" The blue clad terrapin, nodded and waited for the copy of the story to be printed. Raphael sighed, and said.
"How long will this take?"
"Shouldn't take long." Donatello answered. Mikey handed a seat to raphael, and he sat down when he noticed one story interested him. Reaching over to the mouse and clicked to the link.
"The tale of demolisher raphael, eh?" Raphael read out, showing interest to the story. At first, Donatello wondered curiously and became intrigued with interest as well. "That does seem a good story."
Like every other building, the transportation station for interdimensional travelers was richly decorated for the holidays. December was only a week old and everywhere you went you saw various decorations all over the place and colorful lights. But it was not necessarily the busiest season for traveling between worlds. But some of the people that greeted newly arrived always felt the traffic increased a little during it, especially from more alien worlds.
The station was on two levels, one was for people who came walking, that is did not use dimensional travelers but traveling stations instead. The other level was for arriving vehicles. Most of the time you were required, if you came on a car, to have the traveler open a portal to a station instead of just anywhere you wished.
When arriving in a station you presented paperwork, not unlike when you arrive at a new airport in a foreign country. These were small formalities that go smoothly if everything is in order. Usually it was just stopping the car, hand the papers, get them back and welcome to the dimension.
Most of the working crew of the station paid little attention to the arriving vehicles. Many of them were from other earth-type worlds, thus the cars weren't that unlike what they were used to. Occasionally more technological wonders came through, but that it self was also very usual. But this day, the guy at Boot 5 actually took a notice of an arriving car.
It was a black Mercedes and by the looks of the license plate it seemed to be a government plate. The brown haired station worker frowned a little; usually diplomats came at the capital not through a regular transport station.
The driver's window slid down to reveal the driver more properly. The man was surprised to learn it was a turtle, olive green one wearing shades. As well the reptile was dressed in a dark raincoat and apparently a business like suit underneath. But what also caught the worker's attention was the elderly Asian woman in the passenger seat. Wearing what almost looked a simple but traditional dress underneath her warm coat.
"Ah… welcome to earth 1984, can I see your papers please," the man said after a second. The unknown turtle quickly and without a word or even looking at him, gave the human the necessary papers.
"This is interesting, want to keep reading brainiac?" Raphael smmiled. Donatello nodded. Mikey sat aside and continued with the current chapter to Alaer kino's fiction. April O neil is a mutant turtle. Donatello noticed the huge smile on mikey's face.
"Reading the explicit scene of the story again, are you mikey?" Donatello smiled. Mikey glanced over the paper top with a blushing giggle. "No, I am not."
"Then why are you blushing?" donatello asked. "No reason." Mikey answered, fibbing. Donatello sighed and chuckled. "Yeah you aint, mikey. Pervert turtle."
Mikey grinned. Continued reading until he read the chapter end and his grin changed to worrying frown. "Hey donnie, can I use the computer to make my comment?" mikey asked.
"You will have to wait until the printing is done, mikey." Donatello assured. "Ok." he answered. Meanwhile, April had completed the second chapter and begun the final chapter. April leaned back in the couch, reached over for her cup of lemon juice drink. Lightly sipped it slowly, as she couldn't pul her eyes away from the chapter.
Casey angrily stabbed down with his knife, but at the same moment, Don turned over and his green tiled flesh was saved by his hard shell. But the turtle felt the impact and casey's rapid labored breathing of rage. He sat up and saw casey fuming as the man attacked again.
Casey let out a cry of malice as he charge at his terrapin rival knife raised for the kill. Don grabbed casey's forearms and without much effort pushed him backwards and away. Casey roughly yanked free and began to scream obscenitiess at the turtle. By now, april was awake too and demanded to know what in the world was going on.
"What the hell is going on here?! I came back to get yous, april! I can't live without you; hell, I want you back!" casey bellowed, glaring at april now. Don and april exchanged strange look that sent terrible dread through casey. No, no, no! This couldn't mean what he feared, could it?
Casey walked out from the kitchen and sat down beside april. "How is the story going, babe?" April didn't take her eyes away as she answered. "It is good, but what a mess though."
"How do you mean?" he wondered. "You have to read it to fully understand it, casey but must remember it is only a story though." April assured and reminded. Casey nodded and promised then asked. "How about I read from where you are reading and I'll catch up with the rest later?"
"If that is what you want. It may not make any sense if you read the last chapter." April smiled. The couple snuggled, enjoyed thier snacks whilst reading the fiction. April waited until casey had finished reading of the first paragraph before she could resume.
Casey glanced with widened eyes as he were in shock. Glanced april surprised and she just shrugged. "I know but gotta admit, it is a good story so far."
"Good? More like weird." Casey replied. "Like to continue?" April asked. Casey shrugged and said. "Meh, most as well. I know you would never leave me for the bros. They are family afterall and they have better honour then that." Casey stated, kissing her cheek as he gently pulled her close in his embrace.
April smiled, snuggled and replied. "You have nothing to worry about, casey." Casey smiled happily. It didn't take long for the couple to finish reading the final chapter.
Casey stretched his arms up, and leaned over his knees alittle then stood up. April did also too. Placing the chapter down and said.
"That was, interesting but strange. Don't you think?" April asked casey as he turned around and faced her. "I never thought you'd have a relationship like that ever in a million years."
"I know right. Wonder if the guys have read it?" april replied, curiously. "Yeah, do wonder if they had. Especially Donnie."
"Have to wait and see then." April said.
Meanwhile, Foot HQ's shredder sat quietly in his room and spent alot of his time, meditating. Until the doors opened, chamberlain walked in the room and said.
"Master splinter, Karai has reported that her soldiers have located the purple dragons."
"The purple dragons were not the targeted subjects at present time, but that is a start for the time being."
"Should we continue with the pursuit of the purple dragons, master shredder?" Chamberlain asked. "No, leave the purple dragons for the time being and locate those acursed terrapins."
Chamberlain bowed and left the room, closing the door behind him. "Cursed reptiles."
