'This is not working.' Snake Eyes signed to Jinx after having sent the trainees back to their rooms.

"What do you mean? Aside from Amari I think everyone is getting along just fine. This group has the most potential to be spies, probably the best group we'll be sending out in a while."

'Amari is the problem.'

Jinx shooed off a few trainees who were hanging around and led Snake Eyes into the office that they shared, "What's the issue? I know she's struggling but that's to be expected."

'Even if we push her and give her more time she will still be behind. She needs more help than what she's getting here.'

"She just needs time getting used to hearing."

'She can't with so much noise at once. I found her crying yesterday and fears the hearing aids.'

Jinx sighed and opened up a drawer filled with paperwork, "I don't know what kind of support she will need, so it would be a good idea to get het here and ask. I'll run through the budget and see what we can do."

'What if we sent her to Japan?' Jinx didn't see the sign the first time so Snake Eyes had to tap her shoulder and sign it again.

"I don't know if she could handle that type of stress. Anyway, bring her in here and we can see what to do. Actually, bring over the siblings too, I have a different issue I've been wanting to discuss with them."

Snake Eyes left the room and walked down the halls to the first bedroom, the one with the siblings. They were sitting together, separated from the other trainees, and as soon as Snake Eyes entered the room everything changed. All the trainees jumped to their feet and ran to stand against the side wall with their chins up. Snake Eyes hadn't given the command, but that hardly mattered at the moment. He pointed to the twins and signaled for them to follow him.

Walking down the hall he stepped into Amari's room to see her sitting with her head down. He snapped, but the room was too loud, with all of their backs faced to the door except Amari. Snake Eyes crouched down in front of Amari, she lifted her head and jumped. She rushed to the wall and got into position like she was supposed to.

The group of trainees still didn't noticed Snake Eyes. The siblings, who had decided to stay by the door, were showing clear signs of fear. What would Snake Eyes due with the lack of respect.

"Shit!" A trainee looked up and rushed to the wall. The others finally noticed Snake Eyes, and there were several swears as their bare feet hit the floor running to the wall. In position, Snake Eyes noticed something on the ground. A hearing aid.

He grabbed it and whipped around to Amari. She flinched once Snake Eyes lifted the hair on one side, and then the other. Both were missing. Snake Eyes was always silent, but angry silence was always different from happy silence. Snake Eyes pointed at the siblings, Amari lowered her head and walked over to the door. Snake Eyes then turned to the other trainees and waited.

The smell of fear filled the room. Snake Eyes watched as their eyes darted towards a certain trainee. Snake Eyes stood in front of him and placed his hand out in front of him. It took a few seconds, but he pulled out the remaining hearing aid and handed it to Snake Eyes.

Snake Eyes slammed back into the office, which did not surprise Jinx at all, and signed, 'She's going to Japan.'

Jinx pointed to the siblings, "Go outside and close the door, I'll talk to you two later." She pointed at Amari and then the chair, "You, sit down."

Jinx groaned and rubbed her forehead, "We don't have room in the budget, so I made a call to Master to see if he's willing to train her. But that brings its own issues."

Snake Eyes summarized the main points, they wanted to send her off to a quieter place where she could train better. Amari nodded slowly, getting the basic idea.

Jinx reached for a file, this one with Amari's name on it, "That's a bunch of paperwork to go through. If we start all the paperwork today we can get her there in a week."

'Do you want to go to Japan?'

"Where is that?"

Snake Eyes turned to Jinx, she did not have a map. 'It's an island.'

"What does it sound like there?"

'Quiet.'

Amari shrugged, "I don't know." Snake Eyes and Jinx tried to question her more to figure out if she truly wanted to go or not. She didn't change her answer from a maybe. Not the best response, but the two of them couldn't think of a better way to get Amari used to the hearing aids.

"Snake, sign what I say to her please. We are going to send you to Japan, there you will train with less people. Meaning there will be a harsher focus on you. Also, you know no one there, so it will be stressful."

Amari nodded quietly, not seeming totally convinced. It became clear to Snake Eyes that Amari never seemed to be given a true opinion. With being forced out of her home, and forced to wear hearing aids, and now being shipped off to another country. No wonder she hadn't stepped up to the bullies.

'I'll do the paperwork, we're sending her off tomorrow.' Snake Eyes nudged Jinx to try and get her to stand up.

"Tomorrow? You sure about that?"

Snake Eyes nodded, 'You will sleep with Jinx today and tomorrow you leave.' Amari nodded, and asked for permission to take off the hearing aids for the rest of the day. Snake Eyes gave it to her. Snake Eyes picked up the files and lead her to where Jinx slept. When he went back to the office Jinx was still discussing something with the siblings, so he waited until they finished to go in and begin the files. Jinx set up a video call with the master before leaving.
