"Izanami, it almost seems fitting." Dojima noted while the three of them traveled through the eighth floor of Yomotsu Hirasaka. "We started with the persona Izanagi, and now the final boss of the game is Izanami."
"You have a point Dojima-san." Adachi agreed as Junes Dojima, Yosuke, Yukiko, and Kanji reached the stairs and they moved to the next floor. "There she is, this is it you two. The final boss before we fix Teddie's home."
"Yeah, we're helping Teddie and stopping the bad guy." Nanako agreed as the Investigation Team walked up to Izanami and a cutscene started where a thick mist surrounded the team before fading to reveal Izanami had grown much larger, was wearing a straightjacket, and hiding her face behind a red x before the battle started.
"Well, this is it. We have a little less than two hours before we need to head to the station so we'll beat the boss and see the ending then we should meet your cousin for real ok Nanako?" Dojima asked.
"Ok." Nanako said happily.
"Right, so the first thing to do is see if the boss is immune to anything. I don't think the final boss will be weak to our attacks, but we don't want to accidently heal her either." Dojima said calmly before having Junes Dojima switch to Scathach. "So in that case why don't we start with ice."
"Yeah, you're really smart dad." Nanako said with a smile as Junes Dojima hit the boss with Bufudyne.
"So ice works, let's see how wind, electricity, and fire work." Doijma said thoughtfully before having Yosuke, Yukiko, and Kanji attack Izanami with Garudyne, Agidyne, and Ziodyne respectively.
"Looks like everything works, so maybe the boss just has a lot of health." Adachi said thoufhtfully.
"Maybe, but that seems almost too easy for a final boss. There's definitely going to be a trick." Dojima said just as Izanami hit the four persona users with Megidolaon.
"That looks iike a trick, it did a lot of damage." Adachi said calmly.
"Maybe, but we can do the same thing. I have a feeling there's more to this fight than we've seen so far." Dojima said suspiciously. "Still, the only thing we can do for now is play this fight cautiously and see what happens."
"Dad's right, we need to beat the bad guy so the fog goes away." Nanako said calmly.
"Well for now what we need to do is keep everyone healed up and if we start to run low on SP have Kanji boost us back up with the Soma we found in that treasure chest." Dojima said calmly. "For now though, Junes Dojima, Yosuke, and Kanji focus on damage while Yukiko keeps everyone healed up."
"That makes the most sense, and if there is some kind of trick that should make sure we're strong enough to survive whatever Izanami tries." Adachi said in agreement.
"Yeah." Dojima said before having Junes Dojima and Yosuke hit Izanami with another Bufudyne and Garudyne respectively before having Yukiko use Salvation to heal the party. "Now the question is should Kanji use his physical attack this round, his magic is a lot lower than the other three but he more than makes up for it in terms of strength."
"We should, the sooner we beat the bad guy the better." Nanako said happily. "Then Teddie's home will be ok again."
"She has a point, this has to be the final boss so once she goes down we win and the fog will be gone forever." Adaachi said thoughtfully.
"There is a third option, Matarukaja can boost everyone's strength for three turns." Dojima said. "That may be worth doing before we attack."
"Now that you mention it, that does make sense plus if Izanami doesn't attack for some reason Yukiko can do a lot more damage than Yosuke with her Agidyne skill." Adachi said thoughtfully. "Of course, what are the odds she won't attack us?"
"Almost non-existent." Dojima said while having Kanji increase the attack power of the four persona users only for Izanami to try and hit Yukiko with Agidyne and have it do no damage. "Then again, that's also an option."
"Yeah, Yukiko isn't hurt by fire anymore." Nanako said happily. "That means we can stop the bad guy."
"Well, I don't think we can stop the bad guy yet." Adachi said with a smile. "Then again, I'm sure if we keep everybody strong and take our time we'll beat the bad guy and see the ending just in time for you guys to pick up your cousin Nanako-chan."
"He's right, we're definitely going to be able to finish this game. We still have an hour and a half before we need to leave." Dojima said calmly. "So Bufudyne, Garudyne, Agidyne, and then the question is do we go with Torrent Shot or Primal Force."
"That's a good point, if Torrent Shot hits three times it's actually more powerful than Primal Force, then again there's no guarantee it will hit three times." Adachi said thoughtfully. "Plus we need to think about how much HP it will take to use the attacks."
"Worst case scenario we get hit with another Megidolaon, even after that Kanji still had enough HP to use either attack." Dojima said. "Which means our best choice is Primal Force, if Torrent Shot misses or doesn't hit three times we'll end up doing less damage in the long run."
"That's really smart dad." Nanako said with a smile as Dojima had Kanji hit Izanami with Primal Force only for her to resist it.
"Looks like she resists something after all, that only did 220." Dojima said calmly. "That means we shouldn't use physical attacks and should focus on magic for this one."
"Well something to know for the future. Kanji isn't the best person to bring to the final boss." Adachi said thoughtfully. "That should give you some help when you play with your nephew."
"Yeah, it should." Dojima said in agreement.
