"Really, is that more of your detective's intuition Dojima-san?" Adachi asked while Izanami attacked the party with another Megidolaon. "Again, is that all she can do?"

"It's really strong though." Nanako said. "It hurts everybody really bad and we have to make sure they're ok."

"That's true Nanako, but as long as we keep Yukiko's strength up so she can heal us we'll be ok." Dojima said with a smile while having Junes Dojima, and Yosuke attack Izanami while Yukiko healed them again.

"Kanji can boost our strength again right Dojima-san?" Adachi asked curiously.

"Yeah, that's the plan." Dojima said calmly while having Kanji increase the party's attack power.

"Master, it seems that more changes have been made to our guest's journey than we anticipated." Margaret said thoughtfully. "Do you believe he'll be capable of putting an end to it for good this time?"

"Perhaps, he has proven time after time that he is quite the interesting guest." Igor said with a chuckle. "I admit I was surprised when he suggested this though now I can see why."

"True, this year should certainly be interesting to say the least." Margaret said calmly. "We don't know how things will play out this time. Though I feel our guest will prevail as he has in all of the previous cycles."

"He should be arriving any moment now.' Igor said calmly before closing his eyes. "Just a few more moments."

Margaret nodded before calmly closing her eyes as well.

"Just a little bit more." Adachi said as Izanami's health dropped even lower. "Then we'll have won the game."

"That's true, and we still have fifteen minutes before Nanako and I need to head to the train station." Dojima said calmly only for Yosuke to attack Izanami again as the game claimed she seemed impervious.

"Huh, what happened dad?" Nanako asked. "Didn't we win?"

"We should have, but something's wrong this time." Dojima said. "I have a feeling the reason this battle was so easy is because Izanami hasn't been using all of her strength on us."

"Wait, but if that's true then what are we supposed to do Dojima-san?" Adachi asked. "I mean, if our attacks won't do anything anymore and she's still attacking us then are we just supposed to lose?"

"I doubt it, for now though all we can do is keep up our guard and have Yukiko heal if things get too dangerous." Dojima said. "Then we just have to hope that something changes in the battle."

"It has to get better so we can beat the bad guy and make everybody better." Nanako said.

"Yeah, I know and I agree completely." Dojima said as he continued having the four party members guard and heal as Izanami began talking about how defeating her was impossible and that they were simply ignorant mortals.

"Is she right? I mean we haven't tried attacking her again but is there anything we can try at this point?" Adachi asked.

"There is one thing we can try, but the problem is how do we use Igor's Orb of Sight that he made us." Dojima said thoughtfully. "There's clearly a reason the game gave us that kind of item but the question is what is it?"

Just as Dojima asked that Igor and Margaret's voices echoed repeating what they had said about the Orb of Sight before June Dojima took it out of his pocket causing Izanami to start sparking.

"Dad, does that mean the boss was a lie?" Nanako asked as Izanami told them she would show her full splendor and reappeared on the screen causing Nanako to move closer to Dojima.

"What the, is that thing the final boss?" Adachi asked in shock. "Yeah, that's terrifying."

"Yeah, a giant red multi-armed skeletal goddess that wants us dead." Dojima said. "Still, if my hunch is right this time we'll actually be able to beat her for good."

"Do you think they'll be ok?" Nanako asked nervously. "Big bro and his friends won't be hurt?"

"I can't say they won't be hurt, there's no way of knowing what kinds of tricks Izanami has in store for us but they'll win. After all we've gotten this far, solved the case, and we're about to get rid of the fog for good." Dojima said with a smile. "It won't be easy, but I think we'll be able to win."

"Of course we will." Adachi said. "I mean every game can be beaten and then you have an entire year to spend with your cousin."

"Yeah, you're really nice. I'm glad you aren't the bad guy anymore." Nanako said with a smile. "You're dad's friend, and you're my friend too."

Adachi smiled hearing that. "Thanks Nanako, I'm glad you think of me as a friend."

"Alright you two, we have just about ten minutes to take down Izanami…" Dojima said. "So let's make sure we beat her."

"That sounds like a plan Dojima-san." Adachi smiled while Nanako nodded in agreement.

"Huh, where am I?" asked a grey-haired boy as he looked around at the blue room he was in before pausing as he noticed the two figures in front of him.

"Ah, we have been expecting you. Welcome to the Velvet Room, this place exists between dream and reality, mind and matter." Igor said with a small smile. "My name is Igor, and this is my assistant."

"My name is Margaret, it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance." Margaret said calmly.

"It's nice to meet you?" the boy asked in confusion.

"I understand you must feel rather confused, you are merely fast asleep in the real world, you see only those who have entered into a contract may enter the Velvet Room, now why don't you introduce yourself?" Igor asked calmly.

"Oh, right. My name is Yu Narukami." the boy said calmly.

"The pleasure is mine Mr. Narukami." Igor said as a deck of cards appeared in front of him. "Now then, do you believe in fortune telling?"

(Nanako, Adachi, and Dojima have reached the battle with Izanami-No-Okami, and a boy named Yu Narukami has entered the Velvet Room. Next chapter the final battle will continue. As always any reviews or critique is appreciated.)
