Chapter 5: What's next Trayvon?
Trayvon had woken up to find himself sleeping in the same bed alone, he wondered where Chronoa had gone, but he figured she wasn't too far away, as he smelled pancakes, eggs and some hot dogs being prepared in the kitchen. "Something smells good." said Trayvon leaving his room, being sure he went to the bathroom and showered. His spiky hair had been pushed down by the water. He loathes his body with soap using his towel and finally rinses off, the shower turns off and he grabs the drying towel and dries off. He grabbed his underwear and slid them on, soon and quickly putting on his orange Temple Gi uniform with a black undershirt and lastly putting on his shoes and gloves.
Chronoa had been in the kitchen fully dressed, she was smiling to herself as she moved the frying pan back and forth slowly so as not to burn the eggs. She'd normally burn all her food or make it taste awful, thanks to, Trayvon, he has been helping her to improve her cooking. She had been able to make breakfast and a few other foods easily, she went as far as to being called a three star chef! "Good morning to you love." said Chronoa glancing behind her to see Trayvon standing there laughing as he rubbed his cheek. "I should have known better than to try and sneak up on you, you're a god after all." said Trayvon walking to the table and sat down. "Well duh you should have realized how futile it was, besides I love seeing you try your hardest though." said Chronoa turning the stove off, she carried two plates over to the table and sat them down. "Now let's eat, Trayvon!" she smiled. Trayvon smiled back and nodded with a reassuring smile. "You got it!"
The two ate their breakfast happily, passing jokes and exchanging conversations which they did a hundred times. 'swoosh!' was the sound of light landing outside the cabin. Chronoa had lifted her head and seeing Trayvon hadn't reacted allowed her to believe it was another god. Seeing as Gods were able to sense other Gods, she let out a soft sigh. "Trayvon, we have a visitor," said Chronoa, smiling a little less as she wiped her mouth with the napkin and suddenly looked serious. "Cool who is it?' asked Trayvon, locking eyes with his lover, being sure to pay attention. "I'm going to be quick because I don't have a lot of time, if they ask what we're doing here. Tell them we're training." said Chronoa, pushing her seat back.
Trayvon licks his lips, wipes his hands with a napkin and scoots his chair back from the table. He wasn't sure why it was a bad thing for Gods and mortals to do what they did but seeing as he didn't want to cause her any trouble he agreed to it. "Alright, I'll just say we were training, nothing more nothing less." said Trayvon getting up as Chronoa walked to the front room, he followed her swiftly and cautiously. When they approached the front door, Chronoa looked over at Trayvon and she knew he was nervous. "Hey" she grabbed his hand and gave it a firm squeeze, he squeezed her hand back, letting out a small breath of relief. "Thanks, I'm better now Chronoa." said Trayvon, wiggling his eyebrows and nodding. Chronoa closed her eyes, smiling "Good I don't want to lose you so follow my lead" Chronoa let his hand go and opened the door.
Whis stood at the door waiting for it to be opened, he could hear them talking on the other side and he waited patiently. "It seems they're a little uneasy. Of course a visit from an Angel after doing what they've done is indeed something to be vexing about." he laughed loudly to himself with his arms crossed. The door opened and he looked at Chronoa who greeted him with a smile as she usually had done and beside her was Time Patroller Trayvon. Whis noticed how Trayvon had a perplexed look on his face. Whis had his smirk and coughed in his arm "Well if it isn't The Supreme Kai of Time and Time Patroller Trayvon." he smiled warmly which somewhat set Trayvon at ease. "Oh my if it isn't Whis, what brings you here?" asked Chronoa, stepping outside their house. She wondered how Whis was able to find their remote cabin but shook the question away to avoid suspicion.
Trayvon had his eyes on Chronoa; he had a feeling she was starting to get vexed. "Whis what's up" said Trayvon saluting him with his left hand. "Hello to you as well Trayvon, to answer your question Supreme Kai of Time, I was wondering what were you two doing here, in a love shack of all places" said Whis a bit serious keeping his eyes on the Goddess. "Huh? oh! we were just training is all." said Chronoa smiling brightly, turning her attention to Trayvon. "Isn't that right Trayvon?" she asked sweetly. Trayvon looked at her and smiled back "Yeah we were just getting some training done, nothing serious." said Taryvon, the duo turned their attention to Whis. Whis eyes darted between the pair and back to Chronoa. "Supreme Kai of Time, you do know if you two have done anything other than training" he put a little emphasis on training. "I'd have to carry out my father's orders," he finished.
Chronoa glared at Whis, her eyes locked with his, both searching for a way to get each other to give in without really needing to say a word. "Whis surely you don't think I'd break our taboos do you? I've never done anything like that. I'm a little hurt you'd think that." said Chronoa crossing her arms and shaking her head in disappointment. Whis being taken back by this had shook his head "Oh forgive me! I never meant to offend you, Supreme Kai of Time, I was just asking." said Whis softening his expression. Chronoa sighed, turning away from Whis "I appreciate your apology Whis" said The Supreme Kai of Time lightly hitting Trayvon's arm as she walked by Whis, Trayvon nodded and followed her out. "We actually were on our way back to the others, so If you don't mind we'll take our leave." said Trayvon stretching his arms. Chronoa put her hand on his teleporting them back to the Time Nest.
Whis stood there pretty grateful for their well planned excuse. "I knew she was lying but I'll let her go for now. After all, she won't have Trayvon for long." Trayvon and Chronoa had landed inside her office, it was empty and clean as usual. "Whooaa that was a close one!" said Chronoa blushing darkly with her hands on cheeks feeling completely flushed. "If we hadn't gotten out of there when we did he'd figured us out!" she finished. "Yeah, no kidding. Thankfully we did manage to get away." said Trayvon laughing light heartedly to hide his nervousness, he wiped off what visible sweat had been there. "Yeah no kidding! Listen we'll need to take a few days off from each other- no we're not breaking up." Trayvon sighed relieved. "Good then, I'd hate to leave you." said Trayvon. "Yeah me too.. but for now just take a few days off from missions okay?" asked Chronoa, she just wanted to be sure that nothing would happen to them. "You got it Chronoa!" said Trayvon leaving The Supreme Kai of Time's office.
