Men in Black and DC crossover

Finally it was done. For now at least. She had finally managed to synthesis a partial antidote to the APTX using the Chinese liquor Kudo had told her about as a base. She knew it would work too because she had tested it on one of the rats that Gin had smuggled to her that had been shrunken by the APTX and right now that same rat was full grown and scampering around the make shift rattery that she had managed to make.

Sherry smiled softly as she watched the grown rat run back and forth in the cage, she'd have to get some more supplies for it and probably name it. She couldn't just keep calling her Test Subject 1 after all. But…for now she stared at the pills she had made, several of them in fact, and thought for a brief second about what she was about to do.

Picking up one of the little pills she held it in her hand and then smiled as she downed it dry and patiently waited for it to work, she had noticed that it had taken a moment for it to effect the rat after all.

Just a little over a minute later and she felt a searing pain that felt as if she had taken the APTX again. Her body was feeling as if she were being burned alive from the inside out and crushed and squeezed all at the same time.

Finally, finally the pain began to abate, and Sherry pushed herself up off of the floor. She was panting for air for a long moment afterwards and smiled down at the sight of her grown hands being used to support her, even if her arms were wobbly from the pain and strain.

Pushing herself up and supporting herself on the table Sherry smiled at her much higher line of sight and then looked around for something that might fit her now much taller and more developed body. She spotted a lab jacket that must have been either the one she showed up in or one of the ones that the professor left lying around the place.

Putting it up she used it to cover up as much as she could before she pulled out her phone and immediately punched in a number she knew by heart.

"Are you okay Sherry?" Gin asked as he picked up immediately and looked alarmed as he looked at Vodka and Kir who he had joined because Kir had expressed a curiosity about a German dish he mentioned.

"I'm fine but how soon do you think you can get here to pick me up?" Sherry asked and Gin blinked for a few seconds before he frowned.

"I can be there in about ten minutes…but Sherry…your voice…" Gin trailed off making Sherry grin to herself.

"I managed to make a temporary cure. As long as you bring me some of my clothes, I'd be more than happy to spend however long the temporary antidote lasts with you." Sherry said and Gin's eyes widened on the other end of the phone before he grinned widely as well.

"I'll be there in no time. Vodka and Kir are likely to come with me since I was spending time with them." Gin said and Sherry blinked, Kir? She had known of the woman but had never met her before that she knew of. Although she had been rather vexed thinking that the woman had been trying to steal Gin from her, or rather thinking the older woman who was everything Sherry wasn't would fall for her Gin and he'd decide he liked her more than he would Sherry and leave her for the older woman…and then she found out that Vodka and Kir were a couple and felt ashamed of herself but hadn't been able to bring herself to apologize to Kir. Especially since Kir didn't know of the relationship that Gin and Sherry shared.

"I'd…like to see them too. It'd be nice to meet Kir for the first time." Sherry said feeling her guts itch a bit guiltily at how she had thought badly of Kir for the longest time it seemed for no good reason, especially given that she had known why Gin had been spending so much time with Kir back then.

"Alright we'll be there in twenty minutes at a max and I'll bring one of your dresses with us, I had been about to show them one of the German dishes I know but now I'd rather us all go out to eat." Gin said and he was already moving towards the door so that he could go to his car.

"Alright. I'll see you all soon. And Gin? I love you." Sherry said softly at the end and making Gin smile softly as well.

"I love you too Sherry. We'll be there soon." Gin said softly back to her and Kir raised an eyebrow at him but respectfully remained silent until he hung up.

"So…You and Sherry then?" Kir asked looking at Gin sternly and making him nod slightly as he put away his phone and dug out his keys, Kir locking her apartment behind the three of them as they moved towards the car.

"Yeah. Me and Sherry." Gin said smiling as he opened his car door while Vodka opened the back door for Kir before climbing into the passenger seat.

"If I remember right…isn't Sherry only eighteen?" Kir asked her eyes narrowed at the back of Gin's head as she buckled up.

"Yeah…she turns nineteen soon." Gin said without noticing Kir's tone for once and making Kir slowly look very unimpressed.

"You realize she's not legal right?" Kir asked slowly and darkly and making Gin nod once as he drove towards his apartment where she had kept most of her clothes after her sisters death.

"If it makes you feel better I plan to marry her and will gladly wait until she's legal." Gin said making Kir scowl a little bit but relax.

"I still don't like the fact that you're dating an underaged girl." Kir said making Gin nod understandingly.

"It's fine. Curacao is still upset with me about it too."
