Men in Black and DC crossover

(A/N: I own nothing read last chapter and Velgamidragon's We Are the Men in Black.)
Conan gave an aggravated sigh as he ran a hand through his hair. Vermouth was running around and probably about to make a play for Haibara and he knew who she was disguised as thanks to a bunch of little clues and things that he had noticed over the past little while since Araide's 'car accident' which he suspected wasn't an accident at all.
On top of that he knew that Jodie-sensei had more to her than meets the eye and he was starting to get a bit curious. He knew she was Japanese pretending to be American and she knew several things that she shouldn't about everything going on but he wasn't sure of the full story and who exactly she worked for. He knew she wasn't part of the Organization at least so that was one thing…but who did she work for? He'd figure it out soon and know how to act and talk around her accordingly after he had done so.
Speaking of her…she was at the door and bundling him towards her car, making him smirk behind his mask a bit when he saw Vermouth dressed as Araide in his car taking the bait and following them when Jodie drove off. Conan remained quiet for most of the ride, no need to tip his hand too early after all, and he continued thinking through everything he had learned and knew of so far.
Thankfully his mother had come for a visit and he had confided in her his suspicions on Vermouth, and while she was upset and didn't want to believe it until she got the answers from the woman herself…she did believe her son and accepted that it was likely and in fact very possible.
With his mothers help he had gotten a face mask that perfectly mimicked Haibara's face while he had also called in Heiji from Osaka who would be dressed up in a replica of Shinichi's face. He would be the one actually going on the Ghost ship thing that he had received an invitation too alongside Kogoro and Ran. His mom would also be going and he told them both to be very careful because he was pretty sure that Vermouth had arranged something to keep them occupied for a while aside from the whole regular Ghost Ship thing.
But he knew for sure that while Vermouth wouldn't be going herself, she wouldn't be able to grab Haibara if she did after all, that one of the other members of that Organization would be going to keep an eye out. Whether they were doing it to keep an eye out for someone of interest like him or because it would be the perfect cover for one of their own missions he wasn't sure yet. What he did know was that he had warned his mother that there was likely to be a member on board of the ship and to keep a close eye out, he had only told Heiji to wear his face for a little while before removing the mask so that the Organization didn't look too closely into the possibility of Shinichi's survival at Tropical Land.
The two were ready for anything really as they had the microphone's set up in each-others collars so that they could talk to each other when need be and signal each other through a fake cough since Haibara was sick.
Conan also made sure that he had the machine for picking up radio waves and to monitor his heartbeat set up properly just in case they got that lucky. The one thing he definitely made sure he had was the extra special contact lenses that Doctor Agase had made for him. When he wore them they filtered out light in case of bright glares and everything, and made it slightly easier for him to see in the dark…the main function they had though? Protecting his memories.
The minute a neuralyzer was brought out and the flash was starting to show up, they'd become as dark as sunglasses to keep his memories from being erased. He had taken to wearing them every day secretly so that if he did run into any members during an assignment then he didn't have to worry about them erasing his memories when there wasn't going to be any need for it. He had seen how the neuralyzer affected people a few times and was sure he could fake it working on him when he would have to but he wasn't ready and willing to test it against a master spy and actress like Vermouth who could spot any tiny tell he might let slip to prove he still had his memories intact.
Conan made absolutely sure that Agase didn't let slip about those to Haibara. There was no way in hell she was running from the organization. She was probably hiding in plain sight from something, like Vermouth perhaps? Whatever she was hiding from though he realized that she wasn't ready to tell him and she had no clue whatsoever that he already knew of the Black Organization long before he had been shrunken or she had shown up.
He aimed to keep it that way. He didn't want her aware that he knew the truth until he learned why he was shrunk, what she was hiding from, and whether or not she was really telling the truth about not having an antidote for the shrinking pill yet. The fact that her being around seemed to draw in more of the members to him only affirmed his case that she wasn't really gone from the organization but most of them didn't have any clue why she was shrunk.
He was suspicious of Pisco's death but he had pieced together a general picture of what had happened when he heard about how the house had been burned to the point where not a single stone was left standing on top of the other and how several dozen people dressed all in black had been standing around the fire or on the lawn and they were all solemn and one man was said to have been bawling uncontrollably.
However that just made things more complicated, much like Vermouth was making things now as Conan arrived at the docks with Jodie-sensei who got out of the car and was confronting the other woman.
Conan sweatdropped a bit at seeing Vermouth dramatically pull off the Araide mask. Yep. That was his mothers friend alright.
Seeing Jodie-sensei get shot by a sniper, Conan tensed. Why was this happening? Did Jodie-sensei do something to get put on the Organizations list or was she merely in the way? Calvados wasn't a codename he was aware of already but that didn't mean much. He only knew of a few codenamed operatives thanks to his mom, most of them either high ranking ones like Vermouth and Rum or field agents like Vodka and Gin.
Seeing Vermouth about to shoot Jodie-sensei, Conan wasn't going to wait a second longer. Vermouth barely avoided taking the soccer ball to the head but it did knock the gun out of her hand as she and Jodie both stared in shock at 'Ai' stepping out of the car with sparking familiar shoes.
Reaching up to his mask, Conan ripped off his Haibara mask at the same time that Heiji ripped off his Shinichi mask.
"C-Cool kid?" Jodie asked shocked at the sight of him and he smirked a bit as he aimed his tranquilizer wrist watch at Vermouth. He wasn't sure what all was going on but something strange was definitely happening considering that Vermouth shouldn't be aiming at Jodie-sensei or aiming to kill Jodie-sensei.
Besides…they expected him to play the part of the shrunken detective trying to find and bring down the 'Black Organization' so he might as well live up to their expectations for now.
No need to tell them that he knew the truth of the Organization ever since he was seven. Not when they didn't seem to already know that and were making his life hell for a while now. Oh no, he was going to have fun letting them think that he had no clue about the truth and all…and then as soon as they got ready to admit the truth and pull the rug out from under him…he was going to pull the rug out from under them instead.
Right now he had Vermouth right where he needed and wanted her to be and was ready to end this whole farce and actually get Jodie-sensei to medical help while bringing Vermouth in for 'questioning' when he knew she wouldn't be there for more than an hour if even that.
That's when a taxi stopped at the end of the pier and Haibara showed up running towards them wearing the spare tracking glasses.
God damnit. Just when he was sure he was about to pull this off.
