Men in Black and DC crossover

Conan hummed slightly as he waited for sleep to claim him, staying in the guest room of Rena Mizunashi's apartment after they had decided to stay tonight and catch the doorbell ringer who was worrying her in the morning while they were in the act. He already had a pretty good idea of what exactly was doing it, not who since he didn't know the persons name…but unless they suffered from dwarfism then they definitely weren't an adult.
Mizunashi-san…had something curious about her. Sure she had somewhat exotic looks, easily being taller than the average Japanese woman but she was rumored to be Japanese-American and even have dual citizenship. Honestly he wouldn't be surprised since she was absolutely fluent in English, as he had barely kept up with some of what she was saying when she answered the phone while cooking, with barely if any accent.
He wondered about the locks on her door though, sure when Kogoro had asked she passed it off as just being cautious since she was a woman living alone, but he had his doubts about that. Sure it looked like she had hidden a lot of the evidence but Conan had noticed a mens jacket on her coat rack and he had noticed mens slippers in the cubby as well as a pair of mens slacks that she had quickly folded up and taken to her room. It was obvious that if a man didn't live here then he sure came around a lot. Probably a boyfriend that she didn't want anyone to know about just yet.
Oh well…it wasn't any of his business.
Conan yawned as he drifted off to sleep, unaware of what the next day would bring.

Conan swore under his breath as he, Jodie-sensei and James Black, who was also FBI but had a strange look in his eyes when the Black Organization was mentioned, managed to make it to the park and stop the assassination attempt there only to hear the plans for a second attempt on the politicians life.
Why were they after this guy? Sure if they were an actual criminal organization it would make sense given his strong sense of justice and all…but they weren't and he knew that so why would alien law enforcers be after a politician who would actually make their lives easier?
Oh…maybe the guy was an alien? Maybe they still hadn't bothered to look at his file and therefore see that this whole charade wouldn't matter or work on him at all? Oh…but what if he wasn't the target of the charade? Maybe they were after an FBI agent? After all his grandma apparently had it out for Jodie-sensei…but she had been acting weird lately. When he had talked to her in the car after her near murder of Jodie-sensei and Haibara she acted as if she didn't know it was him. Which was impossible.
His grandma knew he was shrunken and what he looked like right now. After all she had come to visit him in disguise and take hi out for ice cream and pretty much have an excuse to spoil him just a few weeks after he had shrunken. But in Jodie-sensei's car she had acted as if she knew he was Shinichi but not that he was her grandson. It was weird and he had mentioned it to mom when he had spoken to her next but she said that there were a few things like that. Apparently when she was growing up and when Shinichi was little the first time around there were instances where his mom would see or do something with grandma and then an hour later she'd see grandma again and grandma would act like she didn't know Yukiko as more than a friend and pretend she didn't know about what they had just done.
Almost as if there were two separate people running around with his grandmothers face.
And now here his grandma was in the middle of an assassination plot with Rena Mizunashi who turned out to be an MiB agent. Not to mention Conan's other family who were on this mission and who his grandma had apparently pissed off.
"No!" Conan was horrified to see his grandma riding on the motorcycle and on top of the car, her motorcycle flipping and her going on a hard tumble when the car had to swerve to a stop to avoid hitting a little boy.
"How terrible." James said as he and Jodie got out of the car as well to check on Vermouth and see if she were still alive after that fall.
"Wait…Kir? But it's supposed to be Vermouth right Cool Kid?" Jodie asked alarmed and confused when 'Vermouths' helmet fell off to reveal the news reporter herself instead.
"I wonder…does that mean!" Conan felt ice go through his veins as he realized she must have changed shoes while out of range and he hadn't realized it. Which meant his bug was in Gin's car!
Which meant they might blame it on Kogoro and go to either see what the hell he was doing or take him out!
"Black-san! Jodie-sensei! Take us to the detective agency now!" Conan said making them startle but nod as they raced to James' car so he could drive them to the agency pronto while some other FBI agents took Kir to the hospital.
"The Men in Black aren't going to be happy about this." James said as they were racing through the streets to the agency and Conan nearly fell over at his words when he unbuckled his seat belt to prepare a soccer ball.
After the MiB retreated, Conan nearly dragged James Black away from the group.
"Black-san. What do you really know about the Men in Black?" Conan asked the old man who gave him a small smirk.
"That depends on what you know Edogawa-kun." James said and Conan narrowed his eyes.
"I know that they aren't what we all believe them to be. I've got family working for them after all." Conan said deciding to test him out with that much information and James raised an eyebrow but then grinned.
"So if I were to tell you that I used to be known as Grey Goose what would you do?" James asked and Conan's eyes widened a bit and then he smirked slightly.
"I would ask if you want to fuck with the MiB for not doing their damn research on my family and screw with Akai for being too damn hasty on an important job."
"Conan-kun you are officially my favorite agent now."
"I'm not an FBI agent."
"Not yet but let me talk to my superiors back home and I'm sure they'd approve."
