Ok so this is the new chapter!

Thank you for your reviews/follows/favorites!

Look! I'm alive! ok, so the reason I haven't updated like anythings is because I've been busy with school, work, and other things. Plus the joining of many fandoms, because if you're curious, you can look at my profile and see how much things have grown for me in those types of terms. Anyway, school's over for now so one less thing.

Onto questions!

TheColourSky asked: And what is Amaimon's way of playing with little Rin exactly? :/ IT BETTER NOT BE FIGHTING! :O Well... maybe... but don't harm poor little Rin too much :c

Answer: Ummm...You'll see!

Ok, I think that was all, but I could be wrong so I'm sorry if I didn't answer you're question!

Onto the chapter!

"Hurry up Rin!" Yukio called up the stairs to his brother, a smile on his face.

"Yeah," Shiro chuckled. "I'm beginning to think that you don't really want to go to Mephy Land!"

"No, wait, I'm ready!" Rin cried as he dashed down the stairs, ending up in front of his father figure and brother. His large eyes stared up at them with excitement making both Yukio and Shiro chuckle at the gleam of joy in his eyes.

Just recently Yukio had taken his students out to exorcise a ghost seen within the amusement park, and with the realization that the park was now free of that demon, Yukio decided to take his brother there. Now that there was down time between everything that had happened with the demons attempting to contact Rin, specifically Astaroth, Yukio remembered how he had thought about taking his brother here back when he had just moved in with him. He didn't know if Rin even remembered the deal between the two of them, but Yukio did and it felt nice to be able to finally take his brother to the amusement park.

Of course, when Shiro had heard about this, he was on board with the idea but he was also cautious. He was suspicious with the sudden decline in demon's around the area, more specifically those who were after Rin. Wanting to be safe, he decided to tag along with the two boys, especially after doing an extra sweep of the park. Besides, this would give him time to spend some time with his boys.

"Ok, ok lets go then." Shiro laughed as he and the two boys left the dorm building. Yukio and Shiro watched as Rin ran ahead to the bus waiting for them, smiles on their faces.

"He's so adorable!" Shiro cooed, not caring if Rin heard him or not.

"Watch it, Rin might hear you." Yukio chuckled, knowing the glared Shiro would receive if Rin heard him calling the boy cute.

"Well, sucks for him. I'm his father, I can call him adorable if I want." Shiro huffed as he and Yukio followed Rin to the seat he picked out, away from the other few people on the bus. They all sat next to each other, only Shiro was in the seat besides Rin and Yukio separated by the isle. Yukio allowed Rin to have the window seat.

Rin stared out the window with wide eyes, watching as the buildings and landscape passed by. Every so often he caught sight of a demon or two, most of them being lower levels that easily blended in, and they turned their eyes to watch the bus go by. However, the demon's would only be in his sight for so long before they started to fade out and disappear. But Rin knew they were still there.

The bus finally pulled up to the park and Rin was shooting up in his seat.

"Hold on, hold on," Yukio huffed, standing up along with Shiro. "There is no need to rush."

Rin frowned, clearly wanting to rush off the first moment he could, but complied and walked out of the bus with his family. He was clearly still full of energy and Shiro laughed at the sight of Rin so obviously holding himself from running ahead of them.

"You have the tickets, right?" Rin asked, looking up and between the two of them, his eyes darting between their faces and their hands.

"Yes, we have the tickets! What do you take us for little man, liers?" Shiro chuckled leaning down to poke Rin's stomach. He couldn't help but notice the way Rin had paused at the word 'liers', something flashing in his eyes at the word. A quick glance at Yukio showed him that the teen had caught the hesitation as well. However, the moment Shiro poked Rin, the eight-year-old had broken out in laughter.

They approach the entrance of the park and soon Shiro is pulling out three tickets from his pocket. He sends a quick glare at the pieces of paper in his hand, remembering just who gave him the tickets. The glint in Mephisto's eye had been enough to set him even more on edge then what was usual with the man. It was because of Mephisto that Shiro had another reason to be there. He had no idea what Mephisto was up to but he'd be damned if he allowed either of his boys to get hurt because that clown was up to something.

It wasn't long before the three of them entered the park and Rin was once again trying to take in every possible thing within sight.

"Alright Rin, where do you want to start?" Yukio asked, catching his brother's attention long enough to answer the question.

"Uh...um...somewhere fun!" Rin exclaimed with bright eyes.

"Well," Shiro hummed. "That narrows it down to Mephy Land at least." He sent a smirk towards Rin who pouted back in response before turning his eyes back to the area around him.

"Hmm...oh!" Rin jumped in excitement. "How about the roller coasters!"

"Ok, that works." Yukio answered for Shiro. "Let's go."

Thus began their day at the park.

Yukio and Shiro were happy to take Rin on the rides he wanted to go on, and calmed him down when he found out he couldn't go on one-but thankfully that wasn't many. The entire time, both Yukio and Shiro kept an eye out for demons who would want to get close to Rin, but so far it seemed they were in the clear. By the time lunchtime rolled around, the day had gone smoothly and the two older males couldn't be happier with that outcome.

"Why don't you go pick out a place for us to sit?" Yukio asked as he and Shiro waited in line for food. As much as he would like to stay with Rin even now, he knew Rin wouldn't want to stand in line for to long but Yukio needed to keep an eye on Shiro. He knew that Shiro was having a fun time being able to spoil Rin, who was holding a small bowl of ice cream that Shiro happily bought him when he saw it, and knew he couldn't let Shiro spend all the money on junk food for himself and Rin. Honestly, Yukio was not surprised he ended up being the responsible one during this trip.

"Ok!"

"Stay in sight though!" Yukio called after his brother who was already running through the food court.

Rin let his eyes dash over the many people in the food court, trying to find the place for him and his family to sit at. After a few more times running around and letting his eyes jump around, Rin finally found an empty table over in the far edge of the food court. Running towards it, Rin sat down happily with his ice cream, eyes gleaming with joy.

"Hello."

Rin jumped at the sudden voice and looked up from his ice cream to see a green-haired man sitting in front of him, not understanding when he had gotten there. He knew he should have gotten up and moved away from the man, yet he didn't. There was something subconsciously telling him that this man was ok, that he wasn't in danger.

"H-Hi?" Rin replied cautiously.

Bored green eyes seemed to look him over before dropping to his ice cream. "Will you share that with me?"

Rin blinked in confusion at the question before sitting up straight and glaring at the other, pulling his ice cream closer to himself.

"No! Its mine. Besides, I don't know you!" Rin huffed.

The man seemed to blink for a few second before looking up and humming. "Ohh, yeah I should probably do that." His eyes dropped back down to Rin. "Hi, I'm Amaimon, Demon King of Earth."

Rin paused at the introduction before he smiled. "Really!? Cool!" He paused and tilted his head. "You don't look like I thought you would."

Amaimon hummed. "And neither do you."

"Hey!"

"Can I have some ice cream now?"

"No!"

Amaimon pouted. "Mean." Then he paused. "You never introduced yourself."

"Huh? Oh! I'm Okumura Rin!"

Amaimon nodded. "Ok, now we know each other. So will you share now?"

Rin frowned. "It's still no! Get your own!"

"..."

Amaimon was silent as he watched Rin before suddenly letting his hand shoot out at Rin's bowl of ice cream.

"Hey!" Rin cried, pulling his ice cream away just as fast. A glint entered Amaimon's eyes and Rin felt something spark inside of him, a feeling of some sort. It wasn't bad, in fact, it felt playful. They continued to watch each other, waiting for the other to move, when Amaimon moved faster than Rin could see and his ice cream was suddenly in Amaimon's hands.

"Hey, that's mine!" Rin cried out again, lunging towards Amaimon. Amaimon jumped back and Rin followed him with a laugh.

Amaimon remembered what Mephisto said about playing with Rin, how he wasn't supposed to since his powers and blood weren't awakened, but Rin seemed to open to playing. Sure, he was a lot slower and less flexible then he should be. Amaimon didn't even want to think about the strength of his body, but a simple chase shouldn't cause any problems, right? Amaimon knew how to be careful with younger demons during playtime, he just had to be extra careful.

So with a smile, Amaimon leapt out of Rin's reach once again and let out a small chuckle when Rin clumsily turned to follow his sudden movement. Amaimon allowed his eyes to quickly flash away from the boy to check on those damned exorcists that came along. A quick look allowed him to see they were focused on ordering whatever it was that exorcists ate and quickly turned his attention back to Rin who took the glance as a chance to pounce. Amaimon was proud of his younger brother, but Rin still wasn't as swift as he thought he was being.

Still, Amaimon allowed the boy to graze him as he moved out of the way.

At the action, Rin paused to catch his breath and looked up at Amaimon with shining eyes. Amaimon gave a small nod to the young half-demon, showing he acknowledged the graze and made Rin's eyes shine all the brighter. It was always a good thing to allow a new demon whose learning to play fight for the first time a few hits in there. Not, too many of course, the child still needs to learn how to properly play and keep up on his or her own, but it was good to encourage them when they're in the beginning stages.

Now, technically Rin would already know how to play rough. Maybe not too rough like Amaimon and his other brother's would, but rough enough that he wouldn't need to be given hits, he would be able to strike on his own. Sadly, the exorcists have not allowed Rin to play the proper why his heritage would like him to.

Jumping further out of the food court, Rin following, Amaimon allowed his eyes to flicker up towards the exorcists once more. They had finished ordering and were now looking around for Rin. The younger exorcist seemed to catch sight of Amaimon and his eyes widened. A smirk forming on his face, Amaimon turned away from them and took off through the park, knowing that his little brother was following him.

Yukio and Shiro scanned over the food court, trying to find any sign of Rin. As Yukio's eyes passed over the far corner closest to the entrance of the food court, his eyes caught sight of an unsettling glance.

He watched as Rin, whose back was to them, stood in a mock, prepared stance as if he was waiting for the man, demon Yukio realized quickly, to make a move. The demon's green eyes had caught Yukio's and, with a smile, he had been off with Rin quickly following.

"Shit!" Yukio cursed, quickly running after the two even though they were long out of his sight now.

"Yukio? What happened?!" Shiro called to him as he followed after Yukio, trusting the younger exorcist's sudden actions.

"Rin." Yukio huffed out. "There was a man with him, a demon if I'm correct and a rather humanoid one at that. They ran off, but I don't know why Rin would willingly go with a stranger in the first place, let alone when we're so close. I don't know what that demon did, but Rin seemed to go with him willingly."

Yukio could sense the displeasure and concern coming from the other. "Did you get a good look at the demon?"

Yukio nodded. "Yeah, earth related if I had to guess, but he wasn't using any abilities beyond the simple agility and speed most demon's have."

Shiro frowned at the reply. He had an idea as to why Rin might have gone off with the demon, but he couldn't be sure, not until he could confirm exactly what, or possibly who, this demon was. "Let's focus on getting to Rin, then the demon."

Yukio nodded in agreement and the two were off, speeding as fast as they could through the park.

Rin laughed happily as he once again pounced after Amaimon, missing by a few inches. All he could feel was adrenaline and joy washing through him. As he pivoted on his heel, He launched himself at Amaimon once again, letting out a squeal as the other caught him in his hands and then gently, but still forcefully, tossed Rin a couple feet from him.

Amaimon smiled happily as Rin landed, not very gracefully but thankfully unharmed, and quickly scampered to his feet. Amaimon had lead the two a more open area of the park, with not as many buildings or rides around. There was enough room for the two to play comfortably without traveling far, and as much as Amaimon would have prefered more trees or buildings to play on, he knew Rin couldn't climb them very well, let alone incorporate them into a game he just started playing.

Amaimon took his own chance to jump at Rin, tackling him to the ground before jumping up and away. Rin huffed from his position on the ground, jumping up himself and launching himself once again at Amaimon. The older demon got prepared to catch Rin once again, only for Rin to suddenly turn and go around Amaimon. The Demon King turned trying to prepare for the attack, only for the younger half-demon to grab his legs and bring him down with him.

Well, he can't deny that the boy learns fast.

As they tumbled to the ground, Amaimon was able to get Rin on top of himself and launched the boy into the air once more, making the boy laugh in joy.

Suddenly, Amaimon's ear twitched and he pouted as the exorcists finally came across where the two of them were playing. Catching Rin once again, Amaimon gently placed the younger boy on his feet and spoke.

"I have to go now." Rin pouted at his words and Amaimon patted his head. "Don't worry, we'll play again later, ok? Bye bye for now, otouto." With that, he was gone.

Rin tilted his head at the farewell, but wasn't allowed to dwell on the words as Shiro and Yukio came barrelling towards him.

"Rin!"

"Are you alright?!"

"What were you thinking!?"

As they both expressed their worries for the boy, the two exorcists kept glancing around for the demon Rin had been with.

"Rin, why did you go off with a stranger like that? You know better!" Yukio cried, his hands planted on his brother's shoulders.

Rin frowned and scuffed his shoe on the ground. "I-I know...but he was so nice! I just...felt like I could trust him...I don't know. I'm sorry."

Shiro sighed. "I-We know you are, but you still shouldn't go off with strangers like that even if you feel safe with them, ok? You had us so worried!"

"I'm sorry." Rin mumbled again, looking down with tears in his eyes.

Another sigh left Shiro's lips. "Come on, let's go."

Both Yukio and Shiro took one of Rin's hands as they left the park.

"So? What do you think of our dear little brother?"

Amaimon hummed around his lollipop. "I like him. He liked to play, even when he didn't really know what was going on. Those exorcists aren't good for him."

"So you'll help get Rin to have his blood awaken completely?" Mephisto asked, a smirk on his face, anticipating the response.

"Of course. Otouto will never be healthy if things stay like this. Besides, he'll be able to have more fun if he can do more."

"Wonderful!" Mephisto cried, clapping his hands together. "Now, I'll, inform you of what you are to do. However, first, I believe you did something wrong here, didn't you?"

Amaimon hummed in confusion.

Mephisto raised an eyebrow. "You play fought with the poor boy, without him even being completely awoken. I told you not to, but you still did."

"But big brother, he was fine! I treated him like a beginner child! He was fine!" Amaimon whined.

Mephisto hummed. "I suppose. If anything, you're actions might have actually help both our little brother and the plan. Alright, since you did help I won't punish you too severely. Two days without sweets, starting...now!" With a snap of his fingers, both the bowl of sweets on his desk and the one in Amaimon's mouth were gone.

"Awwwwww~!"

So that was that! Amaimon was actually a little difficult to write, so I hope I did well! I honestly think this is the first time I've given him a scene to himself (plus Rin of course but I think you get what I mean).

Anywho, feel free to comment, ask questions, etc.

Until next time! :D
