Hi guys!

Here is a new one. It's set in season 7 and doesn't have much of a plot, as you'll soon find out. I hope you'll enjoy it!

71. Just because.

Finally seeing Cuddy walk into an elevator alone, House jumped out of his hiding place and rushed inside before the doors slid shut. Cuddy didn't even seem surprised to see him, like she'd been expecting him.

"Don't push any button," he instructed, a little out of breath.

"So that's why you've been following me! You wanted to get me alone."

"Quick," he insisted as he cupped her cheeks. "We don't have much time."

"For what?"

"Making out."

She frowned. "Why?"

"Just because."

Her brow knitted further. "I don't kiss you enough?"

He rolled his eyes a bit. "God, no. We should be kissing all the time."

"You do realise that anybody could call the elevator at any time, right?"

"Makes it more exciting. Come on!"

"Oh, well, if you insist," she muttered before pressing her lips against his. She wrapped her arms around his waist and pulled him against her as he licked her lower lip, demanding access. She parted her lips and let him kiss her deeply, slipping one of her hands under his tee-shirt. One of his hands moved from her face and into her hair, cradling the back of her skull. As it always did when they kissed, the tension between them skyrocketed; they were both truly amazed that it hadn't faded even after all those years. She moaned against his mouth and he grabbed her ass, pressing her pelvis against his.

As they felt the elevator start up again, he tried to pull away, but she wouldn't let him go without nibbling his lower lip first. When they opened their eyes again, she smirked. Their lips were wet and their eyes darkened.

"You were just teasing me, earlier," he deduced.

"Makes it more interesting," she winked.

"Stand in front of me," he quickly demanded as the doors began to open, which she did – but not before casting him a lewd glance. "Jesus," she heard him whisper. As they casually walked out of the elevator – the ground floor, which was her destination anyway – he whispered in her ear that he'd be home early.

"I know," she replied with a smirk before he headed back to the elevators.
