Tsu jumped up from her seat as Tokoyami passed her. She tapped his shoulder as he stepped out of the door. As he turned, she waved slightly and pointed next to the door. "Can I ask you something?" Tsu asked. Some of their classmates passed by them with confused looks.
Oh my god!? Is she going to ask you now? You lucky guy! Dark Shadow squealed within his head.
Silence Dark Shadow, Tokoyami scolded. He placed his hand on his chest and bowed slightly. "Of course, Asui," he replied.
"I told you before, call me Tsu, please," she said as she moved to the side of the passage way. Tokoyami gulped and followed suit.
Taking a deep breath, she asked, "Tokoyami, would you want to go to the gala with me?"
"HELL YEAH HE WOULD!" Dark Shadow exclaimed, popping out of his back with a thumbs up.
"Dark Shadow!" Tokoyami said. He waved him away to leave them alone. The quirk sighed and did what he was told. Tsu, blushing a light pink, giggled as Tokoyami rubbed the back of his head. "Sorry about that, but yes, I would be honored to go with you."
"I'm so glad, ribbit!" Beaming, she grabbed his hand and began to walk. "Now c'mon, we can't be late to our next class." Tokoyami was too astonished to say anything, so he nodded and let himself be dragged hand-in-hand by Tsuyu Asui.
After dinner, all of the boys of Class 2-A took hold of the common lounge. The male members of the Bakusquad sat on the couch while Shoji sat on the lounge chair. The rest of the class either stood behind the couch while the others sat on the floor. Iida sat near the tv in front of the group. He clapped his hands. "Alright, let's get this meeting started. Kaminari, take the floor," he said.
Kaminari stood up and walked next to him. "Thank you, your honor," he replied. Bakugou rolled his eyes. Idiot. "Now, as you may know, we basically have until Sunday to ask out girls to this gala thing if we want to save our grades. We also have only six girls in our class compared to…" He paused to do a head count. "Compared to the 14 of us."
Dark Shadow appeared. "Actually there are five girls left in your class," he said then disappeared again.
The other guys gasped at the half-bird hero. Even Bakugou looked a little surprised. Tokoyami, sitting on the ground near Shoji, stared at his feet. "It's true. Asui asked me after Homeroom."
"Wow, congratulations Tokoyami," Shoji said.
Ojiro gave him a pat on the shoulder. "Yeah, you should be proud that you're the first guy in our class to have a date." Tokoyami smiled and sat up straight with a new rush of confidence. "There you go," Ojiro said.
Kirishima gave him a thumbs up. "Well, that means we can't wait around too long," he said.
"Yeah, all the good babes will be gone," Mineta said, rubbing his hands plotting a new perverted scheme.
Bakugou scoffed. "Like you're getting a date. Aizawa only made this dumbass rule 'cause of you."
Mineta jumped off the ground and pointed at him. "No fair! Besides, whose gonna go with you? Jerk!" Little tears threatened to come from his eyes.
Bakugou stood up and glared at the smallest student in the class. Mineta slowly sat back down. "This is stupid," he whispered. He began to walk to the elevator.
Turning to lean on the back of the couch, Kirishima yelled after him, "C'mon Bakugou, the meeting's not over yet!" Bakugou ignored him as the elevator doors closed. The red-headed slouched against the couch and sighed. What am I going to do about him?
Sero patted him on the shoulder. "Don't sweat it, man. You know how he is," he said. Kirishima shrugged in agreement. "Let's get back to it."
"Right," Kaminari began. "We have five girls. That means that most of us will have to ask outside of the class."
"Are you suggesting that we have to claim the girls in our class now?" Todoroki asked, raising an eyebrow.
Midoriya, sitting next to him, put his hands up in defense. "We can't just auction them off. They are people too," he said.
"I wasn't going to suggest that!" Kaminari defended. "I'm just saying first come, first serve."
Sero placed both of his arms around the back of his neck, slouching against the back of the couch. "Maybe I'll ask Ashido," he suggested. Kirishima's fist hardened at the comment. Sero's eyes widened and scooted away an inch from Kirishima. "Or someone from Class 2-B." Kirishima noticed what he was doing and gave Sero an apologetic look.
"That's a good idea, Sero," Sato said.
Iida stood up. "There are plenty of eligible females in this school," he said as he adjusted his glasses. "I think that should be all for today."
Kaminari saluted him. "Yes, your honor," he replied.
"Stop calling me that!" Iida sighed. "Meeting adjourned."
All the boys stood up and began their nightly routines. Kirishima walked in a fast pace to the elevator with Sero right behind him. As soon as the doors closed, Sero asked, "What was that about in there?"
Kirishima stared at his hands. "I'm sorry, dude. That was super unmanly."
Sero grinned. "It's fine. I'll let the other guys know that you call dibs on Ashido."
Kirishima looked at him alarmed. "I thought we weren't doing that? Besides, there's no reason for it" The elevator doors opened up to his floor. He stepped out, but Sero stopped him from going any further..
"It's alright to like her, you know? I see how you look at her in our training courses. 'Night." Sero stepped back for the elevator doors to close as Kirshima stared at him dumbfounded. He shook his head and ran to his room.
The girls of Class 2A took their time to get in their comfortable clothes and made their way to Momo's room. As predicted, she had delicious tea ready for them. They sat on her bed in a circle in bliss. "Thank you Yaomomo for the tea!" Hagakure said.
A light pink blush grew upon her cheeks. "It was no trouble," she replied.
Mina gulped down her drink and practically slammed it against the little plate. "Let's get down to business ladies. Who do you all want to go to the gala with?"
Hagakure danced in her seat. "I hope Ojiro asks me!" she exclaimed.
"Shocker," Jirou muttered. Even though they couldn't see it, Hagakure stuck her tongue out at her.
Tsu pointed up a finger. "You can ask him you know," she said.
"We are all not brave like you!" Hagakure said.
"Yeah, I can't believe you just went up to Tokoyami and asked him after class," Jirou said.
Tsu cocked her head to the side like a confused labrador trying to figure out what his master said. "Isn't that what you're supposed to do?"
"You're amazing, Tsu!" Uraraka said. Tsu only shrugged in response.
"So Uraraka, who do you want to go with?" Mina asked, wiggling her eyebrows. "We know it has to be Midoriya or Iida. Which one?"
Uraraka grabbed one of Momo's pillows and placed it over her face. "It's not like that with them!" She began to float to the top of Momo's bed frame before Tsu pulled her down with her tongue.
Ashido laughed. "Well, those two are off limits along with Ojiro." She then directed her attention to Jirou. "Is there a special Pikachu-like guy you are thinking about?"
Jirou's ear jacks stuck out. "Wh-what are you talking about?"
"I know you guys have been hanging out more to play music and such." Mina crawled to her. "Do you guys play any love songs together?"
Blushing, Jirou placed one of her ear jacks in front of Mina's face. "None of your business, Pinky."
Mina kindly backed away until she caught a glance of Momo. She crawled right to her. "What about you, Yaomomo?"
Momo brushed a piece of hair behind her ear while trying not to make eye contact with Mina. "I'm not sure, honestly. I was thinking maybe Iida because of the first dance, but you said he's off limits for Uraraka which I respect."
"Momo, you don't have to do that!" Uraraka pleaded.
Mina sat back and placed a finger to her chin. She thought for a few seconds and then snapped her fingers. "I got it! How about Todoroki?"
"What?" she asked with the light blush returning to warm her cheeks.
"Ha, so you have thought about him? You guys would be so cute together!"
"I can totally see it," Hagakure chimed in. "Todomomo!"
Momo stood up and began gathering the tea cups in her bed. "It's getting late. Maybe we should wrap this up."
"What about Ashido?" Tsu inquired.
"Yes! What about you Ashido, hmm?" Jirou added.
Mina shrugged. "As long as it's not Mineta, I'm good."
"Mina, you're the big time romantic in our group! Have you not thought of someone for yourself?" Hagakure asked.
"It's no big deal. I would rather see you girls happy first," she replied.
"That's sweet, Mina, but you should be happy too," Uraraka said.
"I'm betting it's between Sero, Bakugou, and Kirishima," Jirou said.
Mina laughed, "Can you imagine Bakugou asking me? We would really be an odd couple." She bounced off the bed and headed to the door. "Good night, girls!" Then she was off.
The explosion hero had just gotten under his sheets and was comfortable. He glanced at his clock. 8:32 p.m. Idiots made me two minutes late to bed. I'll get them all for this. He closed his eyes to hear his phone ring. "Who's dying tonight?" he asked. He reached his arm for his phone on his night stand and stared at the ID.
ILLUSIONS would like to FaceTime.
He groaned and turned on his lamp while answering the call. "What's up Bakubro?" Camie Utushimi said in her usual cheerful voice.
"Illusions, do you have any idea what time it is?" he replied.
She placed a finger on her chin for a second. "Time to talk to one of my fav people!"
He groaned again. "You know I go to bed at 8:30 every night."
Camie placed her phone on her nightstand and began to rub her face with some sort of cream. "You know that is supes lame broski."
"What the hell are you doing to your face?"
Camie began to place a clay mask on her cheeks. "It's a face mask! Next time you visit you have to try one."
"Over my dead body."
She giggled and walked to her bed to lay down, being mindful of the clay on her face. "What's new for you?"
Bakugou also laid back. "Normal class shit. Also we were invited to this gala thing, or I should say we are being forced to go."
"Wait, are you talking about the Hero's Gala?" He nodded. "Are you freaking kidding me, Bakubro?" She sat up. "That's like one of the biggest events for pro heroes! Well besides the crime fighting and such. Congrat-u-freaking-lations!"
"You're more excited than I am about it. We have to bring a date and lead a dance, ugh. Why can't I just fight some villains for them and call it a day?"
She giggled. "That's so like you. Have you asked anyone yet?" Bakugou stared at his phone for a minute. She tapped on her screen. "Ummm Earth to Bakugou, do you copy?"
"Illusions, do you want to go with me?" She stared at the screen just like he did a few seconds before. "Illusions?"
"Hold on one second." She placed the phone on her bed, so all he saw was her white ceiling. Then he heard, "I'm going to the Hero's Gala!" with the sounds of her jumping around and giggling. She hastily grabbed her phone, so her face was super close up. "I'm your girl, Bakubro." He rolled his eyes at her dramatics and then groaned. "What's up?"
"What about your stupid school and that 'no dating' thing." A light blush brushed upon his cheeks. "Not that we're dating! It's just a formal event type of thing that may or may not break a school rule."
"Pfft, I'll get that handled. I'll explain how this will look supes good for the school to the principal."
"Do you think you can come out this Sunday? They are doing the dress and suit fittings that day."
"Sure thing! Depending on the trains, it may make sense for me to come on earlier if that's chill."
"I'll ask one of the girls in my class to let you stay with them."
"You're the best!" She blew a kiss at the screen. "Gotta go and buy my train ticket! I'll text you once I get it." She hung up.
Bakugou laid his phone against his chest. What did I just get myself into?
