After Mina and Uraraka changed, they made their way to Lucky's Cafe. Mina wore her leopard print top with black shorts and sandals while Uraraka wore a blush-colored sundress with white wedges. They walked into the ocean-themed cafe and saw Kirishima and Midoriya at a table eating sushi in the middle of the dining area. "Oh my gosh, look who it is," Ashido whispered to Uraraka.

"What are you planning, Mina?" she asked.

"Tsk, tsk, I have no idea what you are talking about," Ashido said. "C'mon, let's get some food and join them."

As they got in line, Midoriya shoved two pieces of sushi down his throat. "Hey man, you need to calm down. We got this," Kirishima reassured. The shark-toothed hero wore jeans and a red short-sleeved button down with his red Crocs.

"Sorry, I'm really nervous. I have never asked a girl out to...anything," Midoriya muttered. He was wearing jeans as well along with a light blue button down and his red shoes.

"Do you own any other shoes?" Kirishima asked, taking another bite of his food.

"What's wrong with these? Should I change them? Maybe we should go back…"

"Hey boys, may we join you?" Ashido asked with Uraraka right behind her.

"Yeah! You cool with that Midoriya?" Kirishima asked Midoriya as the One For All inherent stared at Uraraka until Kirishima kicked his shin.

"Of course!" he squeaked out in pain.

"Great!" Mina exclaimed as they sat down with their small sushi platters and tea. "How were your guys' fittings?"

"It went faster than I thought it would," Kirishima said. "They basically asked us what color suit would best fit us with "defining details." They also asked us who we were going with to match the girl's dress. I have to email mine back."

"Don't worry, Kiri, I'll find someone for you," Mina replied. "Speaking of which, Midoriya, have you found someone to take to the gala?"

"Um, um, no not yet," he sputtered out. Uraraka kept her eyes to her food.

"I had a lot of fun at ours," she whispered. "I'm excited to see the final dress."

"Same, my designer was so nice! He is going to make the most expensive thing I'll ever wear besides my hero costume," Mina added.

Kirishima froze. "Wait, you had a male designer?"

"It was no big deal," Mina said. "He was very respectful, especially when he was measuring me." Absentmindedly, Kirishima snapped one of his chopsticks.

Eyes widening, Midoriya spoke up, "Hey, Kirishima, aren't you seeing a movie with someone this afternoon?"

"That person is me!" Mina exclaimed and shoved her remaining food and tea down her throat. "Let's go, Kiri, we'll see you guys later." Mina pulled Kirishima out of his chair and bounced out of the cafe, leaving Midoriya and Uraraka behind.

Uraraka and Midoriya ate in silence for a few minutes. "So," Uraraka started, "Mina didn't mention she was seeing a movie with Kirishima today."

"Perhaps she forgot?" Midoriya suggested.

"I guess. I hope Kirishima asks her to the gala. She deserves someone nice like him."

"I agree. Have-have you found someone yet, Uraraka?"

She gazed at her empty plate. "Not yet." The girl took a deep breath. This is it, now or never. Slamming her chopsticks down, her eyes made direct contact with his. "Deku, will you go to the gala with me?"

They both froze, their cheeks flaming red. "Will you excuse me? I have to use the bathroom" Midoriya asked. He then ran to the men's room.

Uraraka placed her head on her hands with tears flowing down. That was so bad! I hope I didn't ruin our friendship. Idiot, idiot! She then heard footsteps walk up to her. "Deku, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to-"

She looked up to him holding a bouquet of roses and now in a black suit jacket. "I would love to go to the gala with you," he said.

Uraraka jumped in his arms. "How did you do this?" she asked, chuckling.

Midoriya glanced up to see Kirishima and Mina in the window, both holding their thumbs up. He tapped her shoulder to turn around. As soon as she did, the pair ran away giggling. The two laughed as she accepted the roses.

Kirishima and Mina ran until they were out of sight from the cafe. Stopping to catch their breath, Mina fistbumped the air. "Mission accomplished!" she exclaimed. She held her hand up, and Kirishima high-fived her. "Alright, mister, your turn."

"Ah, first you promised that we would get to do something chill, and I know the perfect place," he replied.

They walked for a few minutes until Mina heard waves crashing against sand and rocks. "Is that Dagobah Beach? Awesome! I wish I had my swimsuit."

Kirishima pictured Mina in a bikini, but then pushed that thought out of his head. "We can just hang out for a little bit."

They walked along the shoreline with Mina occasionally asking Kirishima to take pictures for her, which he happily obliged. The pair soon found themselves at a little pile of boulders that set up the perimeter of the beach. Kirishima climbed on top of the flat bolder near the shore. "Let's sit up here for a bit," he said. Smiling, she held her hand out for him to pull her up.

Mina and Kirishima watched on as seagulls flew above them, and the waves crashed against the sand. The water also threw itself against the bolder they were sitting on, but the water was not too high yet to get them wet. A couple of families were swimming and building sand castles. Mina sat against Kirishima's shoulder. "This is so peaceful," she said.

"I agree. This week was too stressful, and we didn't even fight anyone."

"Hmm." Mina glanced at the families. "If it was dark out and those kids weren't here, I'd totally just strip down and dive into the water."

Kirishima backed away from the acid girl with his face matching his hair. "Ashido!" She laughed at him and turned to face him.

"I'm kidding. I'd be way too scared to do it after watching Jaws." She pointed to his teeth. "Unless, you were there. You could take him."

"I would always save you if you were in danger," Kirishima said with his eyes dilated in a way she has never seen. For the first time, a blush appeared on her face.

Turning to face the ocean, she said, "Anyway, I was thinking you could ask Pony from Class 2-B."

"Ashido."

"She turned down Shoji, the poor guy."

"Ashido."

"I could also look into some of the girls in the general or business course. No one has asked them yet."

"Ashido!" She became silent. "I don't want to ask any of those girls." He then pulled out a small blue box from his pocket as she gasped. "Mina Ashido, I want to ask you to the gala." He opened the box, revealing a silver bracelet with pink pearls and crystals all around it. "Please go with me, Ashido. You deserve someone to treat you like the queen you are."

Ashido's eyes filled with tears. "You are certainly the guy to do it." He cocked his eyebrow before she embraced him so hard they almost fell off the rock. "Yes! Yes!" She broke apart when she felt tears on her shirt.

"Sorry, I'm just really happy. This is probably so unmanly."

"I think the opposite actually." Beaming, he placed the bracelet on her wrist. She held it against the sun. "I love this! You didn't have to, but still...I will never take it off!" Ashido thought for a second. "Well, except when we are training or something. I don't want it to get damaged."

He placed a loose piece of hair behind her ear. "Thank you, Ashido."

She held on on that hand. "No, thank you." They stared into each other's eyes with a force pulling them closer. Kirishima's eyes were about to close when she suddenly bounced off the rock. "Come on! I have to go tell the girls and show them this." She held her wrist up.

Damn, so close! Sighing, he jumped off the rock. Then she grabbed his wrist and pulled her phone out. "We have to get a selfie." They smiled for the picture, and then she ran up to one of the mothers on the beach. "Excuse me, ma'am? Can you get our picture?" She ran back to Kirishima and wrapped her arms around his torso. "He just asked me to a dance!"

"Congratulations!" the mom said. Kirishima chuckled sheepishly and wrapped an arm around her shoulders.

With the water and clear skies behind them, the mom took the picture, and they made their way back to the dorms hand-in-hand.
