Hi everyone! How is everyone doing today? I just found out today that my younger siblings won't returning to school until April 15...my parents and I aren't prepared for this. But this is for everyone's safety with the virus going around. Luckily this will give me some free time to type more chapters with the kids being at home. I hope you enjoy this and thank you again for the review for the next chapter YellowAngela! Also a big thanks to LadySora15 for proof reading the chapter! Now, let the show begin! :3

I don't own anything or anyone except for Rosie and Aaron.

The meeting feels like another lecture at school for Rosie. Only the meeting was interesting for Rosie as she was taking some notes.

Calan was explaining to everyone about how they discovered some hidden bases around the world that is holding some illegal experiments. Recently, they found a base in Brazil and arrested a dozen people for experimenting on humans. Most of the people used for the experiments were volunteers. They hoped that if they survived the testing phase, they would be gifted with powers.

"Its so freaky what people would do to gain some super powers. It reminds me of the ending credits from-" Rosie began until Six cuts her off, "This better not be a pop culture reference."

Rosie nervously smiled and admitted, "Hey, you can't blame me. In the credit scene, Wanda and Pietro went through some experiments with Hydra which resulted in them gaining their powers. Instead of getting injected with some nanites like these people were, it was the powers from the tesseract that did it."

Rex let out a chuckled and ruffled the girl's hair, "You're such a fan girl."

"If we're done talking about childish things, then you two need to head to a warehouse at downtown. We got a tip that there is a few crates with containers of nanites." Knight sternly said and Rosie looked at Six.

"We're on our way." Six said as he and Rex got up.

Rosie opened her mouth until Rebecca said, "Sorry sweetie but you can't tag along."

This is what she expected but Rosie was still disappointed. "Awe man." Rosie whispered before Knight told her, "If you want more experience on the field, then I recommend try using the new training course we have."

Rosie immediately looked excited but looked at her parents for approval. Six and Rebecca looked at each other before they glanced back at Rosie.

"Well...I suppose she can try." Rebecca admitted and Six added, "If you're using the robots then make sure it's at level one."

Rosie got up and smiled, "I will!"

Before her parents could say anything else, Rosie quickly ran out of the room. It was until Rosie was running for five minutes that she realizes, she was lost. If she was at the base everyday then Rosie would be pretty sure that she would have the hallways memorized.

Looking around for someone to ask for directions, Rosie spotted a boy around the same age as her. Which was weird since the only agents and scientists here were mainly adults. What stood out to Rosie about this boy was his eyes, which were a dark teal color.

"Um...excuse me?" Rosie asked and the boy glanced at her before he stopped, "Can I help you?"

Rosie stood there awkwardly before she stuttered, "Well...I was actually looking for the training room?"

'Why am I so nervous for? I've talked to other boys before...wait...Ryan is the only one I've ever talked to. Is that a bad thing?' Rosie thought until the boy scoffed, "I don't think that you should be going there."

"And why not?" Rosie glared as she crossed her arms.

The boy stopped and turned to face her, "Look, the training room is for trained agents. We use that to polish our skills and even level 1 could be a challenge to some new cadets."

Rosie narrowed her eyes at him but began to grinned, "Are you afraid that I will beat you in a sparing match?"

The boy stared at her and slowly chuckled, "Don't say I did warn you. Follow me."

This was a victory in Rosie's book, she smiled and followed the boy. Without thinking, Rosie began to introduce herself, "My name is Rosalind Holiday but you can call me Rosie. What's your name?"

The boy continued walking but he glanced at Rosie for a moment. Almost as if he was trying to figure out something. Eventually he slowly replied, "The name's Aaron, Aaron Kitt."

Aaron stopped in front of a large door, he pressed a button on a control panel beside the door. The door open automatically and Rosie heard a familiar whistle coming from down the hallway. She stopped and turned her around.

It sounds like the same whistle from the forest a few days ago. Rosie remembered when she confront Ryan about the whistling in the woods, he told her that he only whistled at the window. Now that she's hearing the whistle again at the hallway, Rosie started feeling uneasy.

"You okay?" Aaron asked when he noticed Rosie standing out in the hallway.

"Yeah." Rosie whispered and slowly entered the room but glanced behind her. This was strange to Aaron and he turned away as he touched his earpiece, "Sir, can check the surveillance cameras to see if there's something out of the ordinary. Six's daughter might have saw something and it seems to be bothering her."

White Knight's voice was heard from the other end, "I'll have a look at it. If something happens, your job is to make sure nothing happens to her. Do I make myself clear?"

"Yes sir." Aaron obeyed and noticed Rosie looking around the room. She looked curious to not see much of anything in this room besides a bunch of thin lasers and a few droids scatter around.

"Why is the room like this?" Rosie questioned and approached a small robot. Aaron walked behind her and mentioned, "Well we have a control panel around here that can changes settings. We can make this place look like a desert or a jungle but we don't find it necessary since this place is used for sparing or hitting targets.

Suddenly they heard a loud whistle from behind them causing Aaron and Rosie to quickly stand and pulled out their weapons. Aaron had a blaster while Rosie had a katana. A dark portal started forming and out came out two people.

A man with messy blonde hair and cold blue eyes stepped forward. The woman beside him had the same blonde hair but her eyes were red and she looked hateful. "Who are you? Why are you trespassing this base?" Aaron muttered and aimed his blaster at them.

The man chuckled menacing and smirked, "My boy, I'm not trespassing. I'm sure young Rosalind can vouche for me. We are old friends are weren't we?"

The dangerous stared that the man was giving her send chills down Rosie's spine. Something about him was familiar to Rosie and she didn't like it one bit. Using her free hand, Rosie touche the scar on the back of her neck.

"I-I don't know you." Rosie admitted with a shaky voice but glared at him. This made the man boom with laughter. The alarms were blaring loudly throughout the base and Aaron quickly blast at the duo. However, the woman stepped forward and ignite fire from her palms.

"Watch out!" Rosie yelled and they jumped out of the way of a large flamethrower. Aaron grunted and yelled, "Activate Level 10 of training protocol!"

The robots in the room began to light up and made their way towards the man and the woman. Rosie pulled out a small device from her bag and placed it on the wall. After pressing a few buttons, Rosie quickly backed away and parts of the wall exploded. She looked at Aaron and yelled, "Come on! We need to escape!"

Aaron glanced back at the woman burning the robots and saw the man walking towards them. He quickly pushed Rosie through the hole and followed her. Once they were back at the hallway, Aaron and Rosie dash away.

Rosie screamed when a large lizard beast turned around a corner and started charging at them. Without thinking, Aaron shot at the lizard's chest causing it to hiss loudly and fell on the ground. Knowing the lizard was dead, Aaron ran ahead and peer around the corner. There was a dozen agents heading their way and he said, "We finally have back up."

Hearing that they have reinforcements were arriving, Rosie felt a bit at ease. She spots a large chuck of debris being tossed at Aaron. With her katana Rosie slashed the steel metal away from Aaron. "I think those two are coming this way." Rosie admitted and held her katana tightly in her hands.

They heard two faint gunshots from the hallway and then Rebecca called out, "Rosie? Are you out there?"

"Mom!" Rosie screamed and ran into her mother's arm as she had a tranquilizer gun in her hands. Rebecca set the weapon down and held her daughter's face, "Are you okay?"

The only reply Rosie gave was a slight nod and continued hugging her mother. Aaron lead the agents to where the man and woman were laying unconscious on the ground. Rebecca glared at them and held Rosie tighter in her arms, "I can't believe Vladimir is here."

"Who's Vladimir?" Rosie whispered faintly, almost as if she was afraid to find out.

Rebecca looked at Rosie and was regretting ever mentioning his name. She slowly stroked Rosie's hair and admitted, "Its not surprising that you don't remember him. You were so little when it happened."

Aaron stood there and watched them carefully before he heard White Knight ordering him to go to the meeting room.

This doesn't look good for him or so he thought.

"Are you kidding me!? You want me to have a bodyguard!?" Rosie yelled clearly upset about the sudden suggestion. White Knight was on a small screen and frowned, "Its for your own safety. We interrogated Vladimir for any information. So far he told us that he'll have someone strike you down when you least expect it."

Rosie looked at her parents and begged, "Please don't tell me you're both on board with this."

Rebecca stared at her guilty and admitted, "This will only be temporary sweetie. You wouldn't like the other options either way."

"It was either have someone be your bodyguard or keep you somewhere safe." Six pointed out and Rosie groaned in misery. The one time that Rosie wanted to prove herself to her parents immediately backfire on her. Can she get any unluckier than this. She looked back at White Knight, "Okay, even if I reluctantly agree on a bodyguard, how the heck is he suppose to follow me to school? Isn't it going to be a little suspicious that a grown up is following me around school?

"I've assigned the right person for the job. You've met him today and he's only a few years older than but could blend in with the crowd." White Knight told her until Aaron entered the room.

A look of dismay appeared on Rosie's face and pointed at Aaron, "You?"

Aaron raised an eyebrow and crossed his arms, "This will be temporary until the threat is under control. I'm honored that your father and White Knight is trusting me on a mission like this."

Rosie narrowed her eyes at him and placed her hands on her hips, "I can't believe this is happening...but you'll have so much fun around me."

"I've been through high school two years ago, I'm pretty sure I can handle it again." Aaron scoffed.

Something about Rosie and Aaron glaring at each other was making the situation more tense than it already is. Rebecca got in the middle of them and held Rosie back, "We'll make sure your stay with us is comfortable Aaron."

"He's staying with us!?" Rosie yelled in shock.

This was going to be a long mission...

Back at Rosie's room, she was sitting on her bed with Rebecca right beside her. Right now is their private mother and daughter talk. Something that they would usually have when Rosie needs to let her feelings or thoughts out. While Rosie was making a bracelet with colorful plastic string, "Mom, why is it that I have bad luck?"

"Honey, you don't have bad luck." Rebecca reassured and pat Gizmo's head while he slept on the ground.

Rosie gave her mother a look but went back to focusing on the bracelet. She slowly sigh, "I hate this..."

Rebecca placed her hand and Rosie's shoulder, "Don't think of this as a bad thing. Maybe Aaron could help train you or maybe he could be a good friend of yours."

"Are you that concern about me not having that many friends?" Rosie nervously said and scratched her head. It was true that Rosie only had three friends but it was better than nothing. However, there was something that Rosie wanted to let off her chest and she looked up at Rebecca, "I will admit this...he is kind of cute."

Rebecca smiled softly and teased, "Don't let your father hear that."

A faint chuckled escaped Rosie's mouth and she remarked, "Dad said I'm not allowed to date until I'm thirty so he's fine. Beside right now I just want to focus on finishing high school. Then maybe I'll consider dating...that is if dad or Gizmo doesn't kill my dates."

Gizmo perked his head up at the mention of his name and rolled on his back. He demands belly rubs, to which Rosie started to rubbed his belly affectionately.

"Its getting late sweetie. Why don't you go to bed early? Its been a long day." Rebecca suggested and Rosie nodded before she got up. "Give me a few minutes. I need to shower."

In reality, Rosie needs to talk to Ryan about this, maybe he'll help her figure out how to make a cover up story about Aaron. He was better at lying than Rosie anyways.

This chapter comes to an end. You can't tell how many times I had to rewrite this chapters. I went through three rough drafts until this one finally stick. Funny story, when I typing the third chapter, I was so satisfied with it but when I went to check on my PMs, I realized that I didn't save it... RIP. T-T What is wrong with me? XD This chapter was a bit tricky since I wasn't use to action pack scenes but I hope I did my best. Stay safe out there everyone! I'll do my best to post another chapter. I can't guarantee how long it will take me. But I will be back! :D
