Hi everyone, how are you guys doing today? Things are slowly starting to calm down where I'm at. However, schools are switching to online learning and I'm not sure how to feel about that. My college campus is making our professors change up the lesson plans and everything will be online until the semester ends. The same things is going for public schools as well. I hope things will go back to normal soon but in the meantime, I'll write down more chapters to ease my mind off of things. Without further ado, let this chapter begin!

It was finally the day, Rosie wasn't sure what to expect. She and Aaron were sitting in the back seat of the bus while everyone was causing a ruckus. The bus ride to school wasn't pleasant, the duo wasn't talking to each other. There was nothing to talk about and Rosie kept staring out of the window.

Aaron was going through his phone and would glanced at Rosie every few minutes.

The bus made a complete stop and everyone began to got up. They made their way out of the bus, Aaron got up and waited for Rosie to get her stuff. When Rosie put her backpack on, she started walking out with Aaron behind her.

They headed inside the building, Aaron looked around and said, "This school is different than the last one I went to."

Rosie looked up at him and asked, "Is that a good thing or bad thing?"

Aaron only gave a shrug and stayed close to Rosie. They were heading to English class with Ms. Shields, it was one of the easiest class in Rosie's opinion. For this month's lesson, they were reading the book called To Kill a Mockingbird, all they have to do is read the book and finish the worksheets.

"Hey Rose!" Ryan called out from the back table of the classroom. Aaron narrowed his eyes at him and Rosie whispered, "Calm down. That's Ryan, my best friend. Don't worry, he's a good friend."

They made their way to the table and Ryan grinned, "Hey Rosie, introduce us to the new kid."

Suzie and Emily looked at Aaron who sat down next to Rosie and had a vacant look.

"Ooohh, I want a bad boy." Suzie grinned and stared at Aaron dreamily. Not wanting to cause trouble, Emily gave Aaron a warm smile and said, "Hello, my name's Emily. What's your name?"

Aaron replied, "Aaron, Aaron Kitt. I'm not interested in being friends or finding a relationship right now. I just want to finish high school and leave this place."

Rosie mentally groan when her friends looked at Aaron blankly. They weren't expecting that answer coming from him. Ryan nervously smiled and questioned, "Hey, how did you and Rosie first meet?"

"We met at camp about a year ago. When I got transfer here, I noticed her at the office. So logically I decided to tag along with her and keep her company during my stay here." Aaron coolly said and lean against the chair.

'This is gonna be a LONG day...' Rosie thought in misery and wanted to be at home right now.

It annoyed Rosie to see Suzie looking at Aaron dreamily but she let it slide for now. Aaron grabbed the books that was on the center of the table. "Aw shit, we're reading this?" Aaron asked and flipped through the pages.

Rosie became interested and asked, "You've read this book?"

"Sort of. I just don't remember any of this since I would always zone out during the readings." Aaron admitted.

Setting the book down, Aaron frowned when he noticed Suzie stared at him and was giving him the...look.

'This is hell.' Aaron groaned in misery as he thought this wasn't going to end well for him. The school's bell ringed and Ms. Shields walked in the classroom with a briefcase and noticed Aaron as she said, "Hello class. I hope you did your assignment and I see we have a new student."

Aaron shrunk back in his a little when he noticed the whole class was staring at him and Rosie said, "Um Ms. Shields, Aaron prefers to keep to himself for the time being."

"I understand, Aaron since you're new here, I'll cut you some slack with the work. However, I do expect you to follow along with the reading. I'm sure Rosie will help with the assignments." Ms. Shields smiled when Rosie gave her the thumbs up.

Once the class started doing their start up, Aaron watched Rosie writing down a few sentences. He couldn't read anything she was writing because she was writing in cursive. It wasn't because her handwriting was sloppy but Aaron couldn't read cursive.

He heard some faint giggles from behind him and Aaron turned his head to see a few girls pointing at him. They were smiling and waved at him as the giggles didn't stop. Aaron grabbed the book and made sure his face was covered. Rosie smiled and pat Aaron's shoulder as she giggled, "What's wrong Aaron? You don't like having any admirers?"

The only answer that Aaron gave Rosie was a warning glare. That didn't make Rosie flinch and she replied with a smug grin on her face. Ryan broke the silence by saying, "Seriously, are you sure you two aren't dating?"

"This is the best day of my life." Aaron grinned devilishly as he held two dodge balls in his hands. It was finally time for gym class and Aaron couldn't wait to let out some steam. Ryan was on his team with a few of the boys, while Rosie was on the girl's team and she grinned. Both team were neck and neck, whichever teams win will get a ticket for a free day to do whatever they want.

Rosie threw a dodge ball at one of the distracting student and cheered when the ball bounced back and hit another student.

"You're out Jones!" Coach Wilson yelled and the two boys went to sit down on the bleachers. Ryan threw two balls at Rosie and she quickly ducked and caught of them.

Ryan mentally cursed and jogged with the rest of his classmates. Aaron and Rosie were the only ones left and things were going to get more intense. Nothing was going to stop them from winning this match. Nothing.

Rosie grabbed two balls and watched Aaron's every move as he paced around. When he raised his hand, Rosie tossed one of the balls at his legs. Aaron predicted that move and jumped before he tossed both balls at Rosie. There wasn't much time to avoid the upcoming attacks, Rosie quickly held up the only ball she had left and used it as a shield. Aaron looked around for anymore dodge balls but was stunned to see Rosie kicked a ball at him and it hit his shoulder.

Coach Wilson blew his whistle and yelled, "Kitt, you're out! The winners are the girls!"

The whole class cheered loudly and Rosie sigh in relief. It made her feel proud that she was able to win the match her team but she was exhausted. "Alright class go back to the locker rooms and get dressed. Lunch is about to start soon."

The class walked across the gym to head inside the locker rooms but Rosie made a face when Ryan ruffled her hair, "Ryan! Don't mess with my ponytail!"

"Sorry not sorry." Ryan chuckled and Aaron stretched slowly. Rosie looked at Aaron and said, "Wait outside the locker room door. I won't take long."

Aaron simply nodded and watched Rosie hurried inside the locker room before Ryan asked, "So...is it weird to be back at high school again?"

It still bothers Aaron to have Ryan know about the mission. However he does understand that Rosie and her parents trust the boy with some information. It wouldn't hurt to tell him a few things, "Well I was here almost two years ago. So it doesn't feel that strange, things are still the same. The only classes I like so far is gym and that's it."

Without thinking, Aaron looked at Ryan and questioned, "Now I want to ask you a question. Why doesn't Rosie have that many friends?"

Ryan sigh faintly and pushed his hair back, "Well people think she's an odd ball and doesn't take the time to get to know her. It wasn't until Emily came to our group about three years ago that things were slowly going well for Rosie. Then Suzie came along and I'm not sure why Rosie doesn't trust her. She hasn't done anything wrong to make Rosie be on edge."

Aaron suspects that it might be something else but decides to not anymore question when Rosie walked out of the locker room. She adjust her backpack and tried to smooth her hair. Rosie looked at Ryan and smiled, "Ready for the anime club? We're going to watch Brotherhood."

"I thought we were suppose to watch My Hero Academia today?" Ryan asked and looked at his phone. Rosie giggled, "Ryan that's on Friday. We watch Brotherhood on Mondays, Pokemon on Wednesdays and then My Hero Academia on Fridays."

"Uh...what's Brotherhood? And My Hero Academia?" Aaron asked and they waited by the doors for the bell to ring. Rosie's eyes lit up and said, "They're the best anime shows ever! Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood is a show about two brothers that are trying to find out about the Philsopher's stone to restore their bodies. Edward lost his arm and leg while Alphonse lost his whole body trying to bring their mother back from the dead. And now they have to find clues about the stone so maybe they can restore their bodies soon but there's so many things going on along the way. Now My Hero Academia is an awesome show too! It follows the story about Izuku Midoriya and-"

The school's bell ringed loudly but that didn't stop Rosie from going on about the shows. The boys continued to listen Rosie ramble as they went to the cafeteria to wait in line. Ryan kept laughing at her when Rosie excitedly moved her hands around while she talked. Aaron didn't stop Rosie's constant chatter since he was interested in the shows she was telling him about. It seems to surprised him that Rosie would watch something like that since he did see her room last night.

Aaron's room was right across Rosie's room and she always leave the door open at the night to let Gizmo come and go as he please. When Aaron was putting some stuff away, he did noticed Rosie's room was somewhat girly. It had Disney, Pokemon, and few plushies on the shelves and bed, while the walls were covered with picture frames and posters.

The line moved much faster with the trio being distracted by something. Rosie suggested, "Maybe we can get you caught up to the shows tonight? I have Netflix and we can watch a few episodes every day until we're done."

"Sure." Aaron said and they went to retrieve their lunches. They sat down in their usual tables but Rosie looked around, "Where's Emi and Suzie?"

Ryan chowed on his sandwich and muffled, "Emily went to a tutor for math and Suzie went to hang with some friends."

Not wanting to ask anymore questions, Rosie focused on eating her macaroni and cheese. Aaron picked at his food before he glanced out the window and stayed quiet. He prefers to be training back at base instead of being stuck at school. What would his team think when they see him like this? Rosie finished eating and got up, "Come on Ryan. We're going to be late."

Finishing his sandwich, Ryan chugged on his milk so he can throw away his trash. Aaron got up with them and threw away his lunch causing Rosie to frown, "Dude, you need to eat something."

"I don't want to eat that. I think I saw something moved in my sloppy Joe." Aaron lied causing both Ryan and Rosie to shutter in disgust.

Back at home, things were finally starting to calm down. Rosie was on the couch with Gizmo on her lap while Aaron was reading the book for class. It wasn't that he's interested in the story, Aaron got a lecture from Rosie for not reading the assigned chapters. Instead of getting Rosie more upset, Aaron decides to read the book to get her off his back. Halfway through chapter 2, Aaron looked at Rosie when he heard her phone went off.

Rosie sat up and stared at her phone screen before she smiled, "Ooo, Aunt Circe wants me to babysit the kids."

"Why can't your aunt find someone else to babysit the kids?" Aaron raised an eyebrow before Rosie smiled, "Oh come on. The kids are awesome to take care of, what's the worse that can happen?"

Sorry it took me a few days to complete chapter 4. Things happened over the past couple of days. The kids are getting frustrated with the sudden changes with school. Luckily my sister and I were able to ease the tension by playing with the boys every night. We can only hope things will get better but right now all we can do is hope for the best. Remember to wash your hands and don't go outside unless you need to. We can get through this!

I would like to say thanks again to LadySora15 for proofreading this chapter. You are truly the best and I'm lucky to have you as my best friend/sister :D And a huge thanks to YellowAngela for always leaving a review for each chapter. I will make Rosie interact with more old characters and hopefully it will be soon. It might take me a bit longer to upload the next chapter though. But don't worry I will return, school work is slowly pilling up on me now.

Plus the kids will start online classes tomorrow and my household only has two laptops. My laptop and my sister's laptop, we're trying to work out a schedule so everyone can get their work done. We're trying to find some tablets or iPads to make sure everyone has their own device but we can't find any. We'll figure something out and I'll try to upload the chapter next weekend but I can't make promises.

Stay safe out there everyone and have a nice day :)
