So I had lots of fun while writing this particular chapter. This made feel bad for Rosie but it was funny for her to experience this. Lol I hope this brings a bit of humor to you guys, I know it hasn't been easy with what's going on around the world. Hopefully things will get better soon. As always a huge thanks to LadySora15 for helping me with this story and YellowAngela for always leaving a review. I hope this chapter impresses you and I'll try to do more interactions with some characters with Rosie. I was experimenting with some characters and hope you enjoy this. :)
How could this possibly happen to her? This was suppose to be a fun day with her cousins but instead this will mark down as an embarrassing moment of Rosie's life.
Her screams were muffled from inside of a large bear costume head, which was stuck inside a tire swing. From one side of the tire swing, Circe was trying to push the mask out of the tire. While Rebecca was pulling Rosie to either get her out of the costume head or the tire swing. Noah kept using a saw to cut the tire swing open. Rex and Bobo were laughing loudly as they were no help at all.
The kids were watching everything unfold from their back porch. Six talking to Aaron and he was recording everything on his phone.
"You know what she said before we came here? She asked me what could go wrong?" Aaron grinned and kept recording.
"SHUT UP! I will kill you once I get out of here!" Rosie yelled from inside the bear head.
Two Hours Earlier
Aaron stared at the two kids as they were running away with Rosie. They were playing some game that Bobo created and he wasn't sure if it was fun.
Bobo threw a smelly bean bag at Rafael and it hit the back of his head. Rafael dramatically fell forward and said, "I've been hit! Save yourselves!"
Rosie quickly picked up Violeta and made a run for it behind the coach.
"How is this fun?" Aaron asked Bobo causing him to smirk, "Its fun because I always win."
Rosie motion for Violeta to stay behind the couch and whispered, "I'll sacrifice myself for the better. Go to the safe zone and you'll win."
"How are you going to distract him?" Violeta gasped when she noticed three bean bags in Rosie's hands. They kept whispering to each other until they heard Bobo taunt, "Kids. Come out to play."
The sounds of giggles were heard behind the couch until Rosie let out of a loud whistle. Gizmo perked his head up and charged at Bobo as he wagged his tail. "Hey! You better not take another step forward-"
Gizmo immediately jumped on Bobo as he licked the monkey's face. Rosie quickly bolt towards them and got ready to attack him when Violeta used a Nerf gun to hit box that dangled above the ceiling. The box flipped and a lot of baby powder was dumped on Rosie's head.
Bobo, Rafael and Violeta began to laugh loudly as Rosie stood there with her eyes closed.
"...I've been betrayed by my own cousins! Well played monkey." Rosie grinned while she wiped the powder off her eyes.
Aaron looked at Rosie and then at the others, he's wondering what just happened. As if Rosie read his mind, she added, "Whenever I would come over to visit the kids, we made it a rule that we prank each other when the adults aren't home. Bobo is still the champion and I've fallen victim to their prank."
"How the hell are you not mad?" Aaron asked and crossed his arms.
"Its just baby powder. We're keeping it PG until the kids are 13. So no itching powder or anything that can cause harm." Bobo said and went to sit on the couch. Rosie went to the bathroom to wash up and the kids were petting Gizmo.
The family still seems strange to Aaron, this might take a while for him to get use to it. He hopes that his mission with end soon so he go back to the line of action.
"We're still bored." Rafael winced and stayed beside his little sister. Rosie came out with a towel wrapped on her head, "Well what do you want us to do?"
The kids were thinking about what to do and Rosie went to sit on the couch. Violeta's eyes lit up and she squealed, "Tell the story about the time Uncle Bobo wrestled a bear!"
Bobo groaned and said, "I've told that story many times already."
"What if we reenact the story? Do you kids still have that bear costume?" Rosie said and Rafael took her to the attic.
"Oh this will be good." Aaron remarked.
The kids were waiting outside on the porch for the play with Aaron right behind them. Bobo was waiting for Rosie to show up and she hurried out of the house with a beer costume.
"Prepare to be defeated monkey." Rosie said and began to charge at Bobo. The kids started to cheer for him and Bobo quickly pounced on Rosie. She stumbled backwards and fell to the ground. Bobo grinned and flipped her over. The poor girl fell to the ground again and slowly got up, "Hold on. Give me a minute." Before Rosie could catch a breathe, she accidentally stepped on Rafael's skateboard.
Rosie screamed when she fell forward again and got herself stuck in a tire swing.
There was nothing but silence...no one dared to make a sound. Until Bobo started to laugh loudly and fell backward as he clench his side. Aaron coughed loudly and tried not to laugh when he noticed Rosie struggled to get out of either the tire swing or the bear head. The only people that were proven to be helpful were Rafael and Violeta. They hurried to Rosie and tried to pull her out by grabbing her arms.
"Owowowowow! Stop it! The head is tightening my arms!" Rosie begged and the kids quickly stopped what they were doing.
"What do we do now?" Violeta worriedly asked and looked at her older brother for some guidance. Rafael was thinking for a moment and then he hurried inside the house. Bobo kept taking pictures of Rosie and grinned, "This will definitely make perfect blackmail in the future."
The only answer Rosie gave him was a miserably groan. Aaron decides to help and grabbed the tire swing, "Vi, can you pulled Rosie while I push her out?"
Violeta nodded and grabbed Rosie's waist while Aaron tried to push the bear head out.
As expected, nothing worked.
Rafael hurried out the door and said, "Don't worry Rosie! Uncle Noah is coming! He's going to help you!"
Aaron glanced at the boy and said, "How is he going to do that?"
Rafael shrugged and replied, "He said he'll figure it out."
After waiting for half an hour, Noah hurried to the backyard with a toolbox. Violeta cheered, "Yay! Uncle Noah is here to save the day!"
"Can someone tell me how this happen?" Noah asked as he set the toolbox down and looked through it for something. Rafael pointed at Bobo, "They were trying to do a play and Rosie got stuck in the tire swing."
Not wanting to embarrass Rosie even more, Noah faintly chuckled, "This is not your day, is it Rosie?"
Rosie squirmed slightly and whispered, "Can you please help me before my parents or Uncle Rex and Aunt Circe comes home?"
Noah pat her back and said, "Don't worry, I've got a plan but you kids might not have a tire swing anymore."
"That's fine, dad will get us another swing." Rafael promised.
That was enough for Noah to pull out a small handsaw and said, "This might take a while."
Rosie sigh and stayed still when she heard the noise coming from the handsaw. Right when things were going well for Rosie, she felt cold when she heard her mother gasp, "What happened here?"
"...Uncle Noah, can you use that saw to kill me right now?"
After getting the tire off of the bear head, Rosie was sitting on the ground. Circe applied some vegetable oil around Rosie's arms and apologized, "I'm sorry about this Rose, but this might be the only way to get this off of you."
"Just get it over with...please." Rosie whispered and was held down by Rebecca. Circe grabbed the bear head and tugged on it, Rosie sigh in relief as she was finally free. "Are you okay sweetie?" Rebecca asked when she noticed Rosie was covered in sweat.
She wiped the sweat off her forehead and whispered, "Not really...I just want to go home and take a LONG shower." Rex admitted, "Despite what just happened, I think things went well."
Rosie glared at him and didn't looked amused before she got up and cracked her knuckles, "Aaron, Bobo, I'm giving you a five second head start before I kill you."
"Do you think we're afraid?" Aaron snort and Bobo agreed, "Nothing scares us."
"Five, four, three-" Rosie began before Aaron looked down at the chimp, "We better run."
Bobo and Aaron made a run for it and Rosie chased after them. "Wait up!" The kids yelled and followed them before Rex smiled, "They're good kids."
Before anyone could say anything, they sigh when they heard some glass breaking.
"It wasn't me!"
"I didn't do it!"
"Sorry!"
"Most of the time." Six said before the adults went to check how much damaged the kids cause.
Sorry for the wait, I didn't expect there to be so much work to do. I will be honest, it might take a while for the next chapter to be posted. The kids started their official online schooling today and it was a disaster. They would ask for help every five minutes and I had to call their teachers for help. I'm so thankful for their help including to the people that are still working during the pandemic. The best thing we can do is keep our distance and stay at home. Hope everyone is doing okay and stay safe out there! Until next time folks :)
