What's this? I updated earlier than expect? I didn't have an exam for math on Monday so I finished with my math class with a good grade. I took my science exam and got a decent score on it, now I just need my last exam on Thursday and I'm officially done for the semester. Since I had some free time on my hands, the chapter is coming sooner than expect.

Without further ado, let the chapter begin!

"Hey Rose, can I use that flash drive to say my work?" Ryan asked Rosie while they were in their engineering class. She quickly smacked his hand away from the computer. "Ow." Ryan winced and held his hand away from Rosie. Their teacher warned, "Ryan, Rosalind. No rough housing in the computer room."

The engineering classroom was divided into two pieces, one half of the room was a large classroom. The other half is a computer room that is divided by a wall and doorway.

"Sorry Mr. Ling." Rosie called out and looked through the window to see Aaron was still doing his work.

She motioned for Ryan to keep it down and made sure no one was near them. When she switch tabs, Ryan noticed there was an encrypted files appearing on the screen. "Remember the secret hole in my closet?" Rosie whispered. Without hesitating, Ryan nodded and whispered, "Don't tell me your parents found the hole." Rosie grinned and started to type on the keyboard quickly.

"They still hadn't found it yet. Don't worry, I've had that hole for about three years and its still kept a secret. That's not the point though. Last night, when I went to go check on the book again, there was a flash drive on top of it." Rosie remarked and tried to open the files but she couldn't without a code. Ryan peered over her shoulder and watched when kept typing furiously to get a password.

Ryan saw a bunch of numbers and data scrolling rapidly up and down the screen. He groaned, "How the hell do your eyes not hurt when you stare at the screen?"

"They do...I think I might need some glasses at this rate." Rosie quietly groaned and managed to get the first two letters of the code.

N E

Ryan rolled his chair back and asked, "What's this all about?"

"I'm not sure. I can't get in the files yet. But I think this might be important. Imagine if this could lead to something bigger than what I can imagine." Rosie whispered and started to try and hack in the files again. Ryan raised an eyebrow and said, "My guess is that you don't want to tell your parents about this."

Rosie stayed quiet and quickly eject the flash drive as she shoved it in her backpack. She had a guilty look in her eyes but admitted, "I'll tell them if what I find is serious...I just hate it when they treat me like a little kid."

Ryan chuckled faintly and whispered, "You act like a kid at times."

She sigh faintly and glanced through the window again. Rosie looked at Aaron once more and then at Ryan, "Why do you think my dad trusts him to be my bodyguard?"

"Maybe your dad sees something in Aaron that most people don't see just yet." Ryan admitted.

'Please don't come here. I don't want you to get hurt.'

Those words keep haunting Rosie for the past couple of days. The nightmares are still coming back and nothing ever changes. Rosie would tried to get closer to Ava but to no avail.

Rosie followed her father out in the woods and stayed silent.

When Rosie got home from school, Six decides to take her to the woods for some training. He knew something was bothering Rosie and he wants to find out what's keeping her up at nights.

"This should be a good spot." Six said and Rosie didn't hear him. She accidentally bumped into him causing her to snap out of her trance, "Huh? Sorry dad. I wasn't focusing."

"That's the point in this training. We won't use any weapons this time. You need to clear your mind if you're going to detect my every move." Six told her and Rosie looked pale. One of her skills that she always lack is to predict her opponent's next move. If her opponent is her father then Rosie won't last very long.

Rosie nervously said, "Do we have to do this?"

"Yes." Six simply said and began to walk away from her. Rosie winced and pulled out a blindfold from her pocket. She wrapped it around her eyes and took a deep breathe. If she didn't try to focus then Rosie will have bruises for a week.

She focused on her surroundings and listen for anything. The winds were a distraction for her as she knew Six would use that to his advantage. "Focus Rosie. Focus..." Rosie whispered faintly to herself.

The sound of a twig snapping on her left side is what made Rosie jumped out of the way. Rosie grinned slightly but flinched when she heard Ava's voice, "Please...Please don't come here."

Rosie yanked the blindfold off her face but yelped when she was kicked on the stomach. She fell backwards and hit a tree as Rosie winced, "That hurts..."

Six walked towards Rosie and held his hand out for her. She grabbed his hand and slowly stumbled up. "Are you okay?" Six asked and Rosie slowly shrugged before she glanced around the forest. "You're distracted, what's going on?" Six frowned and Rosie awkwardly looked away from him. She twiddle her thumbs and whispered, "I'm fine dad...I just...had a long week. Honest."

Six narrowed his eyes at her and Rosie looked at him, she knew Six was trying to make her break but she wasn't going to back down. "I did get a lecture from Mr. Nelson about my artwork."

No response.

"Did I mention that Suzie was being a huge jerk to me during lunch?"

Nothing.

"If I didn't know any better, I feel like you're trying to get something out of me." Rosie joked and tried to smile. Six crossed his arms, "You hadn't been acting like yourself after what happened with the beach and the abandoned lair."

"Come on dad, not every teenager experiences things like that everyday." Rosie whispered.

"I know you're waking up every night, I can hear you." Six said and Rosie mentally cured to herself. It seems Rosie forgets that her father is a light sleeper. There was no point in hiding this from him, "Okay...I just feel like no one believes me when I saw that little girl. Dad, I know she was real. I held her in my arms and I keep having nightmares about her being taken away again and again."

Six sigh and placed his hand on her shoulder, "You're overthinking this. We've scanned the entire area and couldn't find anyone else."

Rosie nodded and whispered, "Okay...That still doesn't keep my mind off of her though."

"Give it time, we could...go watch a movie tonight if you want." Six suggested.

That made Rosie smiled and she hopefully said, "Can we watch Black Panther?"

"Is it another Marvel movie?" Six asked and walked with Rosie through the woods. She perked up, "Yeah. I watched it with Ryan when it came out. I think you and mom will love it. Its perfect for the whole family. Unless you want to watch another Disney movie."

"Absolutely not."

"Do you think its possible to make any of those technologies we saw in the movie?" Rosie said as she watched her mother worked in her small lab. "Anything is possible if you put your mind to it." Rebecca smiled and started to study some new data on the recent nanites they've found.

Rosie peered over her shoulder and watched her work.

Even though Rosie isn't into science like her mother, she's still interested with whatever she's working on. Rosie sat down beside her and Rebecca pat her head. "How was school today?" Rebecca asked as she looked through a microscope.

"It was fine." Rosie said without hesitation. Rebecca smiled and began to write some notes on her clipboard. Rebecca added, "Have you tried to apply to any colleges you want to go to?"

Since Rosie was in her Junior year, her counselors recommend that she looked into what campuses interest her. Usually its Senior year that she would start applying for a few colleges to see if she gets accepted. However, Rosie still hasn't thought that far in the future yet.

"Not yet...I'll admit it, I do procrastinate but I still don't know what I want to do in the future. I think I'll apply to three campuses." Rosie admitted and picked her nails slowly. Rebecca turned her chair around to face Rosie.

Rebecca smiled, "The funny thing about college is that you don't know what to expect. For the first two years, you're doing your general studies. That's a perfect time for you to figure out what you want to do for your major. Then at the last two years, you're focusing on your bachelor's degree."

Rosie slowly smiled and whispered, "So...is it okay for me to go to community college for the first two years?"

"Of course. The campus near the house has a program where they help their students get into different campus after they finish with their AA. Honey, whatever you want to do, your father and I will be supportive of you. I know you'll do great things in the future." Rebecca promised and Rosie hugged her tightly.

Rosie knows that she can always count on her mom to keep her calm.

Rebecca held her close before she ruffled her hair, "Its almost past your bedtime. Go brush your teeth."

"Okay mom. Good night." Rosie smiled and hurried upstairs quickly

Rosie exit the bathroom and slowly stretched. She changed into her pajamas and finished brushing her teeth. She walked down the hallway as she started to put her hair in a messy braid. Before Rosie went past Aaron's room, she stopped when she heard something behind the closed door.

"Aaron did you see my drawing?! I made it just for you!" A little girl said and Rosie peeked in the small opening of the door. Aaron was sitting at his desk and his back was against the door. Rosie could see a young woman and a little girl on the laptop screen.

"I did see it little Aura. It looks beautiful, you drew that butterfly very well." Aaron calmly said and chuckled when the little girl squealed.

The young woman smiled, "Sweetie, say good night to your brother. Its getting late."

The little girl began to pout and whispered, "Can we call Aaron tomorrow?"

"Of course you can. I'm not doing anything tomorrow." Aaron whispered and Rosie could hear the sadness in his tone. She heard the little girl say good night and Rosie immediately left when Aaron turned his head around for a second.

Rosie hurried to her room and quietly closed the door.

Gizmo looked at her from the bed and tilt his head to the side. Rosie sat on the ground and groaned, "I was almost caught...its been a long day Gizmo."

Gizmo barked and tilt his head to the other side. He moved when Rosie went to lay down in bed. It took a minute for Rosie to talk to her beloved canine again. She rubbed his head and whispered, "You know...Aaron has been here for a while now...and he still seems like a complete stranger to me."

Even if Gizmo couldn't give her a response, he maintain eye contact with her to indicate that he's still listening. Rosie continued, "I saw this little girl and lady on his laptop...I think that might be his mom and sister...Or his aunt and cousin? Or his sister and niece? Geez, I know nothing about him."

Gizmo licked his cheek and Rosie giggled, "Hey, I'm trying to have a serious conversation."

Rosie clapped her hands and the lights in her room turned off. She hugged Gizmo close and quietly said, "Can you make the nightmares go away tonight?"

Gizmo barked softly and Rosie smiled tiredly, "That's my boy."

Thank you SparrowSky1 and YellowAngela for reviewing the last few chapters :D

For the reviews I'm glad that you enjoyed the last part of chapter 9 YellowAngela! I have some plans for Breach later on and it will be interesting to see what her role will be in the story. And fun fact about Rosie, she can get nightmares easily. That's why she can't watch horror movies at times. Lol.

SparrowSky1, thanks for wishing me luck on my exams. I did well and that's true that school can't wait. XD I'm glad to have you guys that are patiently waiting for the chapter, it means a lot to me :)

Big thanks to LadySora15 for proof reading this chapter. I had a few more mistakes and I'm so thankful for her help :)

Until next time, have a nice night and stay safe! :)
