Without further ado, let the chapter begin!

Ava watched Gizmo chased after a tennis ball when Rosie tossed it away. Seeing the canine easily excited made Ava giggled quietly.

Gizmo grabbed the the ball with his mouth and hurried back to Rosie. "Good boy." Rosie smiled and ruffled Gizmo's head. She grabbed the tennis ball and tossed it across the backyard again. As usual, Gizmo dashed after the ball but immediately stopped in his tracks.

He lifted his head and stared at the forest. Sensing some incoming danger, Gizmo began to growl quietly and started showing his teeth. It was a sign that Gizmo was getting ready to go into a defense stance to protect Rosie and Ava.

"Ava, get back inside." Rosie ordered Ava while she approached Gizmo.

Ava nodded, she walked back inside the house. Once Rosie knows Ava is back inside, she focused her attention to Gizmo. "What's wrong sweetheart?" Rosie asked and pat his back to calm him down.

Gizmo felt a little more at ease but continued to growled and started to bark loudly. Rosie looked concerned, she nudged Gizmo towards her.

"Let's go back inside sweetie." Rosie told him but Gizmo began to run towards the fence and jumped over it. Gizmo continued to run ahead causing Rosie to chase after him, "Woah! Gizmo! Come back!"

Gizmo barked endlessly and Rosie struggled to keep up with him. She stopped once she started to feel exhausted. Rosie breathe heavily and looked around for Gizmo, she couldn't hear his barks anymore. When Rosie jogged ahead, she slowly frowned.

Gizmo's barks were coming from the backyard again. Rosie raised an eyebrow and tried to head back home. Someone grabbed Rosie from behind and tried to pull her away.

"DAD!" Rosie screeched loudly and elbowed her attacker's throat to get away.

She heard her assailant coughed loudly and started to make a run for it.

Only Rosie didn't make it that far, she ducked when an electric ball was thrown at her. She turned around and looked stunned to see it was Zane.

Zane had a grim smile on his face. He taunted, "You better hand over the parasite. I won't harm anyone if you give it to me."

Rosie glared at him and flicked her wrists. The shuriken blades appeared at her fingertips and Rosie focused, "The only way you'll get Ava is to pry her from my cold dead body!"

Zane's lit up and raised his hands up, "EXCELLENT ANSWER!"

More electric orbs were set at Rosie's direction, she kept avoiding them with her acrobatic tricks. Rosie started to do some back flips and threw the shuriken blades at Zane. He dodged them but felt one slash his cheek.

Once Zane stopped his attacks, he touched the wound on his cheek. There was blood on his fingertips.

"Oh...you've done it now." Zane snapped.

Rosie had an emotionless expression on her face, she flicked her wrists again to get some more shurikens. Deep down insides, Rosie was terrified of what's going on with Zane. The last time Rosie saw Zane was a few weeks ago. Sure Rosie knew that Zane had a few problems in the head but now she could see the drastic change in him.

Without hesitating, Rosie started running away but she made sure that she was avoiding going back to her house. If Zane continues to follow her and starts attacking then he will harm innocent lives at the neighborhood.

'I hope someone notices that I'm gone.' Rosie thought as she continued to run for her life.

"You need to stay here with Ava." Six sternly told Aaron while he had his magna blades out. Aaron frowned and said, "I would be more useful if I help with finding Rosie."

Ava stared at them from the couch while she hugged Gizmo worriedly. When Ava came back inside, she told Rebecca that Rosie spotted something. When she and Six went outside to check what's going on, they witness Gizmo fell out of Breach's portal. Gizmo kept barking as he looked at the woods.

Fearing for the worse, Six and Rebecca had to call Providence for back up. They had a feeling that either Zane or Van Kleiss might be out there and they need to find Rosie quickly.

"It doesn't matter, we need to make sure Ava is safe while we're out there." Six narrowed his eyes at Aaron.

Aaron bit his tongue to fight the urge to argue.

"Is Rosie going to be okay?" Ava whispered faintly.

"Yes she is. We're just going to find her." Rebecca promised as she held a tranquilizer gun in her hands.

Aaron sigh, Six and Rebecca immediately left the house while Ava looked at Aaron. She was unsure of what to do. Not wanting to cause any trouble for Aaron, Ava whispered, "I think its time for my nap."

"I guess it is. Come on." Aaron said and held his hand out for Ava.

Without making a noise, Rosie peeked around from behind the boulder she was hiding in. She lost sight of Zane while she was running away from him. From a distance, Rosie could see Zane pacing around the area she was at.

"Is he talking to himself?" Rosie whispered and stayed hidden.

Zane kept walking in a circle and muttered harshly under her breathe. He was getting aggravated as the time went by. His powers was getting out of control, the more he used them, the more he starts hallucinating.

"Zane, please stop this." Stephanie called out while she appeared right beside Zane.

Not wanting to deal with this, Zane send a electric ball at his deceased mother. The orb went through Stephanie and it hit the boulder that Rosie was hiding in. Rosie kept her mouth covered and desperately tried not to make a noise.

Zane didn't realized Rosie was there so he yelled, "Will you leave me alone!? Why are you haunting me?!"

Stephanie whispered, "I'm sorry Zane. I can't let you do this. Stand down."

Zane growled loudly and kept attacking the ghost of his mother. Rosie rolled out of the boulder when it broke apart into pieces. There was a burning sensation at the side of Rosie's right face. She yelped and backed away to a tree.

Rosie covered the right side of her face with her hand and winced. The burn was still lingering near Rosie's right eye and cheek. However, Rosie starts to hear a faint ringing noise in her ear. She's guessing that she got struck at the face by an electric beam.

"Just leave me alone!" Zane brokenly yelled and send another electric ball at Rosie.

Without much time to react, Rosie closed her eyes tightly and waited for the pain to come in.

Zane glared at Six when he quickly appeared and blocked the attack with his magna blades. Two tranquilizer darts struck at the side of Zane's neck. He stumbled back slightly while Rebecca hurried to Rosie.

"Rosie, are you okay?" Rebecca asked and carefully pulled Rosie's hand off her face. There was a slight burn mark at Rosie's cheek, Rosie looked dazed and said, "I'm fine mommy."

Rebecca narrowed her eyes at Rosie and said, "Please don't act like your father."

Six glared at Zane and then looked at Rebecca, "Take Rosie back home. I'll handle Zane."

Rebecca didn't hesitate, she picked up Rosie and had to carry her away.

"Do I even weigh anything to you?" Rosie said while she was holding her burn cheek.

Rebecca shook her head and continued running, "No sweetie, its like holding a couple of grapes."

"Is dad going to be okay?" Rosie slurred a little on her speech. Her head was aching and Rosie couldn't think straight.

"Sweetie, nothing can take down your father. Don't worry about him."

Zane kept striking at Six with any electricity he still had his system. Without breaking a sweat, Six kept avoiding the attacks.

The tranquilizers were taking a slow time to affect Zane. Two should have been enough to make Zane feel drowsy.

"WHY WON'T YOU STAY STILL!?" Zane hissed but was knocked to the ground by a large whip.

Rex landed on the ground and approached Six, "Did I miss the party?"

"Not really." Six simply said.

Zane growled and struggled to get up until he felt something keeping him on ground. He saw some Providence agents restraining him in a straight jacket.

"You guys are so screw now! No matter what you do, nothing can prepare you for what's about to happen!" Zane snapped while a few agents had to pull him up.

Rex frowned and approached Zane while he cross his arms. He said, "What do you mean by that?"

Zane grinned and darkly told him, "Do you really think the parasite was safe? My father has been visiting her in secret."

Not wanting to take any chances, Rex grabbed the front of Zane's shirt and pulled him up, "What is Van Kleiss planning?"

"Not telling you." Zane taunted.

Finding out that Ava was being relocated made Rosie feel devastated. She knew that it was for the best, but it tore her heart to pieces.

Rosie held Ava on her lap while they were watching a Barbie movie.

"Am I in trouble?" Ava whispered faintly and cuddled close to Rosie.

Rosie admitted, "You're not in trouble Ava. You just need to go somewhere safer until Van Kleiss is either defeated or locked up."

Ava looked sad and held Bun Bun close to her arms. She seems to feel like this is all her fault. The only thing that confused Ava is that she doesn't see anything bad about her father. Without thinking, Ava grabbed the remote and paused the movie.

"Is your face okay?" Ava asked while she softly poked the dark bruise forming at her temple. While under eye to her cheek was a red mark. Rosie was in pain when she got home but Rebecca gave her some medicine to ease the pain.

Rosie faintly smiled and said, "It's fine. The pain went away now. I didn't even notice it anymore."

Ava continued to point Rosie's cheek. It annoyed Rosie after a while and she calmly grabbed Ava's hand, "Why don't we continue watching the movie?"

"Okay Rosie." Ava smiled and focused her attention to the TV.

Even though Ava was leaving, Rosie will still be there for her. She can't find out where Ava is going but Rosie would be allowed to contact her a few times a week. Deep down inside, Rosie is hoping that Ava would be safe and happy where she was going. Thing isn't going to be easy for any of them until Van Kleiss is detained.

They can only hope for the best.

Zane was being wheeled down the hallways, he was passing through the cells that was holding some of Providence's prisoners. One of the cells that Zane was passing was Lucas's cell.

Lucas spotted Zane and he immediately got up.

Zane was still in the straight jacket while he sat down in the wheelchair. His waist and ankles were chained securely on the wheelchair. Zane glanced at Lucas's cell and gave him a hateful glare. Lucas could see the venom in his eyes, it was obvious that Lucas was the enemy to Zane.

Not wanting to cause a scene, Lucas turned away from looking at his former best friend.

The agent continued to push the wheelchair to a more secluded area in the prison.

A handful of agents were ready at the door with their weapons drawn out.

Zane smirked and remarked, "All this trouble for me? You really shouldn't have."

"If you know what's good for you, then I recommend you keep your mouth shut." Calan warned him.

The only respond Zane gave was rolling his eyes in annoyance. He didn't make any sudden movement when he was being transported to a padded room.

Ava held Rex's hand tightly as they were walking off the jet. They were at a Providence base in the middle of a dessert. She looked around and slowly stayed close to Rex. It was obvious that Ava was hesitant to be at a different home.

The base wasn't home to Ava, it reminds her of the old times she spend with Zane...

"Don't worry, you're safe here. Its not going to be like last time." Rex smiled at Ava, almost as if he was reading her mind.

Ava stopped where she was and tugged Rex's hand. "I wanna stay with Holi, Six and Rosie." Ava begged.

Rex kneel down and pat Ava's head, "Don't worry Ava. You'll return back when everything is okay."

Ava wasn't convinced at all, she didn't want to cause anymore trouble. She followed Rex to the entrance of the base and was met with a woman.

"So this is the assignment you're giving me Rex?" The woman asked as she looked down at Ava.

The little girl immediately hid behind Rex and looked shy.

"I trust that you'll take great care of her, Kenwyn. Ava, this is Kenwyn. Kenwyn I think you know Ava already." Rex said.

"Knight gave me the files about Ava. I'll make sure she's safe here but he recommends that we start training her in self defense." Kenwyn said.

Rex's face dropped at the idea of possibly putting Ava through the intense training. Kenwyn grinned, "Relax Rex, we're not going to do that."

Rex looked relief and looked down at Ava, "I'm going to get the rest of your stuff. Why don't you go with Kenwyn to have a tour around the base."

Ava tilt her head and smiled slowly, "Okay."

Inside a vacant house, Aurora ran around and laughed when she heard the echoes. This house was going to be her new home.

Aaron carried a chair to the center of the empty living room. He set the chair and hurried to help Sera. She was still recovering from her injuries and Aaron helped her sit down on the chair.

"This house is bigger than our apartment!" Aurora squealed when she hurried to the window that faced the backyard.

Aaron smiled and said, "I'm glad you like Aura. This will make it easier for me to come home more often."

Sera looked at her nephew and said, "Your mom would be proud to see how much you're doing for us."

Those words meant a lot to Aaron since he had a close bond with his mother. He still misses her after losing her three years ago. To this day, Aaron still can't forgive his mother or brother.

Aaron sigh and tried to be positive, "I hope she is...I'm going back to the truck to unload the stuff."

"Hold on little buddy. My friends are coming over to help, don't worry about it for now."

Aurora tugged on Aaron's hand and smiled, "Come on! We need to go play outside."

He allowed Aurora to drag him outside while Sera smiled at them. Things were almost getting better for them but Sera needs to do one more thing. She pulled out her cellphone and looked through her contacts for a specific number.

William Kitt.

Sera held the phone close to her ear and waited for the call to go through.

"Hello?" A man groggily said on the other end. Sera sigh and glanced out of the window. Seeing that Aaron and Aurora were distracted, Sera answered.

"Hey Will. We need to talk. Now."

It was a rainy day at the Holiday household.

Rosie was staring out of the window dully and watched the rain drops rolling down the glass screen. She was in her room trying to figure out what to do for the day. Recently everything seems to be pilling on Rosie.

From Ava being send away to a secure place. To Aaron temporarily stopping his job to be her bodyguard to focus on his family. That didn't bother Rosie since she knew Aaron needs to help his aunt and sister move into their new home and adjust to the sudden changes. He promise to return once senior year starts for Rosie.

Things didn't get better for Rosie.

Emily had to move away to another state once summer vacation starts. Ryan still refuses to talk or interact with Rosie at school. He didn't even text her like he would usual do. Suzie starts to turn a lot of people at school against Rosie.

Mainly it would be close friends of Ryan or Suzie's that were okay with hanging out with Rosie.

Rumors started going around the school that made Rosie seem to be a bad person.

Rosie sigh faintly and glanced at her phone.

There was no text from Emily.

There was no text from Aaron.

After she set the phone down, Rosie went back to staring out the window. Rosie began to sigh in despair when she covered her face.

"Rosie! Its time for dinner." Rebecca called out from downstairs.

Not wanting her parents to worry about her, Rosie started to mask her sadness with a bright smile on her face.

"Coming mommy!" Rosie cheerfully said and hurried out her room.

Three Months Later...

If you're getting confused by this chapter, the sections in italics are basically a montage of what's going on during the three month time skip. I wanted to try something new and this came to life. I hope you guys like this chapter :) This one seems to be the longest chapter I've written, I feel so proud :) Sorry for the lame action parts, I'm bad at writing that kind of stuff -

I really appreciate the review for chapter 23 YellowAngela :) I hope its not Alzheimer, I can give you a suggestion. To help me remember things that I need to get done for my parents, I have to write down a list on my whiteboard. BUT since I'm sharing a room with my little brothers, they would write my board or erase my list. So I have to use an app call Google Keep that helps me write down a list and cross them off when I complete them. The best part about Google Keep is that you can pull it up on your laptop as long as you log into your Google account :) I hope this helps out :)

As for the story, I did feel bad about ruining their friendship but this kind of things happen. I remember that you mention you're a math teacher, we can agree that high school is where the drama happens apparently. Sometimes I would put my personal experiences to help with coming up ideas.

Stay tune for the next chapter, I hope everyone stays safe out there and have a great afternoon :)
