Without further ado, let the chapter begin!
"Have you officially decided on what to put for your Senior quote?" Farron while they were walking to the auditorium. There was a special guest speaker at the school and wanted to talk about something important. The Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors already had the lecture. Now it was the Seniors' turn to meet the guest speaker.
Rosie opened her Notes app on her phone and skimmed through a few quotes.
Rosie admitted, "I'm stuck on a few. They're mainly Disney related."
Farron chuckled and remarked, "You're just a huge fan over Disney."
Rosie giggled faintly and they went through the doors until she grabbed Farron's arm and pulled him back. Farron looked confused and glanced at Rosie, "What's wrong?"
"Farron, the guest speaker is Michael Rivers!" Rosie quietly hissed.
Farron looked through the doors and noticed Michael on the stage where he was getting his presentation ready. He looked at Rosie who was trying to sneak away and frowned, "Where are you going?"
"I'm sneaking backstage, I might find something important if he might have a suitcase back there." Rosie said until Farron grabbed her shoulder.
"Woah there Rosie, you can't go backstage. There might be some teachers or security." Farron warned until Rosie gave him the pleading eyes look. She begged, "Please Farron? I need to get some information. I promise to be careful."
Farron made a face and glanced at the doors before he looked at Rosie.
"...Fine. Just don't get caught. I'll pay attention to his lecture." Farron told her causing Rosie to happily squeal. She hugged Farron tightly and smiled, "Thanks Farron! I owe you one!"
Farron sigh when he watched Rosie started running down the hallway. He knew he would regret this but maybe Rosie might discover something. He hopes that it doesn't involve about anything happening to Aaron.
Rosie sneaked into the supply closet that's in the hallways leading to the auditorium and music room. She closed the door and started to move some boxes around until she saw a large hole.
Rosie crawled into the hole and pulled the boxes back to their original spots. She quietly climbed up the small stairs and peeked over the top railing. When Rosie noticed no one around backstage, she quietly jumped to the ground.
"Okay Rosie, let's do this." Rosie whispered to herself and hurried to the dressing rooms.
Rosie peeked inside the room and made sure no one was around. She noticed a brief case on the table. There was a devious smile on Rosie's face. Without hesitating, Rosie hurried inside and closed the door.
Rosie's phone started vibrating in her pocket. Thinking that it might be Farron, Rosie looked at the message.
"Michael's speech might be coming to an end. I'll stall him with some questions. You need to hurry."
Rosie quietly muttered under her breath, she needs to hurry and find something.
Rosie opened the brief case to see a ton of files scattered around. Underneath the files was a small laptop. There was a dozen flash drives that had a few labels on them. It did caught Rosie's attention since a few of them were marked Nanite Project.
Suddenly Rosie heard some footsteps coming outside of the door. She gasped quietly and frantically closed the briefcase. The door swing open as two men in black suits entered the dressing room. They saw the briefcase on the table and looked around the dressing room.
"There's nobody here." One of the men said while the other grabbed the briefcase.
"We need to take Dr. Rivers backs to his hotel." The other male remarked before they approached the door until they got an incoming transmission in their ear pieces. They muttered quietly and exit the dressing room.
Rosie slowly popped her head out of the box filled with various of costumes. She took off the top hat from her head and removed the pink feather boa from her beck. "That was a close one." Rosie whispered quietly.
Farron hurried in the dressing room out of breath and panted, "Please tell me you weren't caught."
Rosie got out of the box and dust herself off. She replied, "Nope. I barely made it to that box when the agents came in. I couldn't get anything. By the time that I found something, they came in."
Farron sigh and motioned for them to leave when the bell ringed.
It was time for lunch and Farron said, "We need to get out of here. Let's get some lunch."
"Okay...Farron, I need to do some major research later." She admitted while trying to figure out about what could be in that flash drive that said Nanite project.
There was only darkness in Aaron's eyes, he couldn't hear anything and tried to move. It felt like he has some heavy metal shackles around his wrists pulling him down.
"What the hell is going on?" Aaron muttered to himself and kept tugging at the shackles.
Aaron grunted and felt something burning inside of his body. It was like a fire was spreading from around his heart to his other organs. He kept trying to hold in the pain and heard a woman's voice gently whispered, "I never expected this to happen in your life...you're stronger than you think my little Sir Aaron."
There was a look of disbelief in Aaron's face and he slowly glanced up to see who was speaking to him. A woman with teal eyes and dark brown hair was looking at him with love in her eyes. She appears to be an angel since she was wearing a white gown and warmly exclaimed, "Surprised to see me?"
"Mom?" Aaron whispered and felt the shackles break from his wrists. He fell forward as the woman hurried to catch him.
The embrace from his mother made Aaron feel like he was a child again. It was something he missed for the past three years now. Camila looked concerned and helped Aaron up but was startled when Aaron hugged her tightly.
Camila held her son tightly in her arms and smiled.
"Please tell me I'm not dead...I can't be. This is just a dream that will go away when I wake up." Aaron quietly mumbled while Camila pat his head tenderly.
Camila whispered sadly, "Well Aaron, you've done a lot of dangerous things since I left. If I didn't know any better, I would have thought you were trying to end your life quickly."
Aaron glanced away awkwardly and said, "Well...that was the plan at first."
"And what stopped you?" Camila asked while she moved a few strain of Aaron's hair from his face.
"Obviously it was because I had to think about our family. I couldn't leave Aurora alone. Dad left us alone, Liam didn't want to focus his life on us, Aunt Sera needed more help than ever. I guess that's what kept me back all those years ago." Aaron whispered and crossed his arms.
Camila stared at him sadly and held his cheek, "All of your lives hasn't been easy...but that's what made every single one of you stronger. You need to keep going my little Sir Aaron. You have your brother, sister and Aunt waiting for you. Including your other family, who are trying to save you right now."
Aaron raised an eyebrow and stepped back, what other family? He started to question his mother, "Are you talking about Agent Six, Doctor Holiday, and Rex?"
Camila giggled softly, "Am I wrong? You do see them as if they are family. Well, Agent Six and Doctor Holiday could be your future in laws. That is if you marry their daughter, who you grown fond of."
Aaron started to smile and felt a warm feeling in his heart. It wasn't the burning sensation that he felt before, it was familiar feeling that he has whenever he was happy.
Suddenly Aaron started to realize something and stammered, "I need to wake up! I can't stay here."
"Go then. Remember Aaron, no matter how bad things get, remember the ones you hold close to your heart." Camila said when everything faded away to Aaron.
Aaron's eyes shot open when he started to gasp for air. He fell forward and held his stomach in pain.
"It appears that he reverse himself back to his normal self. He did transform into a strong EVO just moments ago." Someone said through the speakers causing Aaron to rub his eyes.
"What the hell did you do to me?" Aaron muttered as he struggled to get up.
Aaron sensed something coming his way and quickly moved out of the way. He spotted crystal spikes right beside the wall where he was standing before.
"Really Skalamander? I thought you would know by now that you can't surprise me with any of your attacks?" Aaron grinned but started coughing up blood.
Biowulf approached Aaron and pulled him up. "Not so tough now, are you?" Biowulf said while Aaron looked down to see one of the crystal spikes hit his stomach.
Aaron continued to cough and glared at Biowulf.
"You're loyal to the wrong person. Instead of being with someone who can toss you aside once you fail too many times?" Aaron mumbled but was thrown to the wall.
Aaron held his stomach and glared at the two EVOs approaching him.
The odds weren't in his favor and Aaron knows it. He had to find a way to fight and he needs to figure it out fast.
Suddenly his vision became a blur when Aaron started to transform into an EVO. Aaron's entire body grew drastically while his skin became scaly. His face started to morph into a face that was only covered with teeth.
Aaron started to fully transform into an EVO as he growled darkly.
"Excellent work. Keep attacking him until we could get him under our control." Van Kleiss warned through the speakers.
"Remember Aaron, no matter how bad things get, remember the ones you hold close to your heart." Camila's voice echoed through Aaron's head. However, those words faded away by the darkness in his head.
Ava peeked around the hallway of the prison level. It was late at night and Ava decides this was a perfect time to sneak around. She knew this was the only way that she could see Zane. Even though Ava and Zane aren't at good terms, but maybe they can form a temporary truce.
Ava can always hope for the best.
"What are you doing here?" Lucas asked from his cell door.
Ava was startled and slowly looked at Lucas. She sheepishly exclaimed, "I wanted to see Zane."
Lucas sigh and reached through the cell bars to touched Ava's head. He ruffled her hair softly.
"Come on Ava, be reasonable. You know Zane won't be nice to you. Go back to bed." Lucas calmly said.
Ava started to pout and stepped back. She insisted, "I can handle it Mister Lucas! I'm a big girl now."
Lucas sigh quietly, Ava was starting to get stubborn. Just like a certain girl he knows. There was nothing much Lucas can do besides giving Ava some guidance. Lucas looked at her and sternly said, "Whatever you do, don't ever show him you're afraid. Zane will use your fear against you to get what he wants. That's all I can say for now."
Ava thought about Lucas' advice for a moment. For as long as she could remember, Ava used to be afraid of her brother. She was a baby when the abuse began, so Ava only saw Zane as a monster. But now that she's been away from him for a long time, Ava wonders why was she afraid of Zane before.
She started to walk away from Lucas' cell door and approached Zane's door.
"You must be truly desperate to be coming to see me, parasite." Zane coldly sneered, his harsh green eyes kept sending daggers at his sister.
Ava stared at Zane and wasn't bothered by his familiar glare. She stepped forward and whispered, "Where can I find our...father. He has Aaron and I need to get him back."
Zane didn't show it on his face, he was genuinely surprised. He simply mocked, "So you're finally doing something to help? Where was this when my mother died because of you?"
Ava looked furious and screamed, "I was a baby! Rosie told me that it wasn't my fault that mommy died! You shouldn't blame me!"
"Why I oughta-" Zane yelled but Ava squealed when someone grabbed her from behind.
"What are you doing with Ava!?" Rosie snapped while she held Ava close in her arms. She kept glaring at him and didn't let Ava go. Zane narrowed his eyes at Rosie and grinned, "Oh she just wanted help getting your boyfriend back."
Ava looked horrified, she knew the damage was already done. There was no way she could try to lie now.
Rosie looked baffled and frowned, "What are you talking about? My dad said Aaron is away on Providence related business."
"Oh really? Your parents never lied to you? Surely they have if it means that you would have peace of mind." Zane taunted.
Rosie didn't believe him at first until she noticed tears forming in Ava's eyes. She looked at Ava and then at Zane. They were waiting for her to yell or be furious. However, Rosie walked away and made her way to the elevators while Ava was still in her arms.
"Rosie? Are you mad at me?" Ava sniffled quietly.
Rosie forced herself to smile and said, "Don't be silly Ava. I can never be mad at you. Look, its times for bed. We'll talk about this tomorrow morning."
Ava felt like something was wrong, she wanted to say but words couldn't come out of her mouth. Rosie made sure she was happy on the outside. But deep down inside, Rosie was wondering what's going on. She needs to talk to her parents after she sets Ava down for bed.

Maybe Fanfic is getting a few bugs :o You're always so kind :3 Honestly, the readers do help make the stories go above and beyond :3 As for Michael Rivers, he was briefly mentioned in Chapters 26 and 27, but it wasn't until the last chapter that we officially meet him :D It honestly felt great seeing Ryan getting yelled at by Farron, I had a little fun with that part while typing it. As for the celebration, I tried writing two chapters for this story but it was proven to be difficult than I thought ^^" I really want some ice cream right but my siblings will eat the whole tub before I could have a little piece...sigh.
But I do feel tempted to published the first chapter of the story that I planned to post after I finished with The Adventures of Rosie as a celebration surprise. While I was typing up Chapter 31, I did went to work on the first chapter of the new story. Its almost done but I kept it saved at here at the Doc Manager. If you guys want, I can publish the first chapter as a sneak peek of what's to come with the story. Give me your honest opinion and don't worry, I'm still working on continuing this story til the end :3
