Without further ado, let the chapter begin!

After setting Ava down for bed at Providence, things didn't go well for Rosie. She was fuming with various of emotions. Rosie didn't want to believe Zane with his accusations about her parents. But after thinking about for a while, its starting to make sense.

Ava told her the truth to what happened the night that Aaron disappeared. She texts Sera about Aaron's whereabouts and Sera only told her what her parents told her.

"Aaron went to a last minute trip to Syria. Apparently it was for a Providence mission and I was only told by Agent Six. Usually Aaron would tell me about everything he's doing but if its coming from your father then I guess it was sudden. Please tell your father to tell Aaron to call me when he gets a chance."

Rosie waited in her father's jet while she kept thinking about where Aaron could be. Her parents were caught up with a meeting so they would go home later than they expected.

After Rosie pulled out her laptop, she end up trying to hack into Michael's computer to get any information. Rosie knew she might get grounded if she was caught hacking again then it would be game over to helping Aaron. But without much options, Rosie decides to take the risk.

She started typing different codes to gain access to Michael's data frame.

"For a doctor, he couldn't come up with a complicated password?" Rosie asked herself while browsing through his files.

Rosie frowned when she found a certain file. She skimmed through it and slowly looked paler by the minute. "This is bad." Rosie admitted and kept saving all the information she could get.

"What's bad sweetie?" Rebecca asked causing Rosie to jumped and slammed her laptop shut.

Rosie looked at her parents and started break into a cold sweats when her parents were giving her a look. She stammered, "Wait! Before you ground me, you need to let me continue my research! This might help us prevent another Nanite event from happening again!"

"So what exactly happened? You just texted me that you're grounded and not answering any of my messages." Farron asked Rosie while they were video chatting through their laptops.

Rosie sigh and crossed her arms in misery. She started to roll her eyes when she remarked, "Do you want the whole story? Or basically a sum up to what led me to being grounded?"

Farron chuckled and he admitted, "Whatever helps you calm down a little."

"My parents saw me hacking again. I know that it was wrong but I finally found something useful." Rosie said while holding up a notebook. Farron was looking at some drawings, it was a few states with a drawn out bombs in the center of them. At the side of the drawings was the cities names.

Farron gave Rosie a confused look and asked, "What's that?"

"I found out that Michael has planted some nanite filled bombs at these states. The main bomb is at his hospital. Once that one goes off, then the rest will be a chain reaction and will cause another nanite explosion to happen. I spend thirty minutes trying to get as much information as I could. This is all I got." Rosie whispered.

She was still upset that she couldn't find any information about Aaron and Farron could see it on her face.

"Hey, we'll get him back. You were saved when Zane kidnapped you, I'm sure Aaron will be returned safely." Farron promised.

Rosie didn't seem to convinced but smiled faintly, "Thanks for trying to make me feel better. But I don't talk to you outside of school then its because I'm grounded."

"Don't worry about, we'll talk and hang out in school." Farron reassured.

Rosie heard a knock on her door and whispered, "Gotta go. Its time for dinner."

Farron waved goodbye and they hung up on the video chat. Rosie rubbed her temples when she slowly got up from her bed. She'll admit it, Rosie doesn't know what to expect. All Rosie can do is hope for the best.

Dinner was quieter than usual. Rosie was having a hard time swallowing her food and she could feel the tension rising in the room. Rebecca and Six glanced at each other before they looked at Rosie. Even though Rosie was staring at her plate, she could tell that her parents were staring.

Having enough of the silent treatment, Rosie lift her head up and sigh.

"I accept any punishment you two will give me." Rosie began to say.

"Rosie-"

"If its no TV, no video games, no manga books or no cell phone for a long time then I deserve it. But I want you two to know that I'm not giving up with helping Providence."

"Rosie-"

"Aaron is still out there and I want to help save him. You may think I'm childish but Aaron means a lot to me. I will help out for this big mission and I promise-"

"Rosalind." Six raised his voice to make Rosie stop her blabbering. It worked since she immediately shut up and looked at him.

Rebecca set her fork down and acknowledged, "You father and I have been thinking about this for a while. Even though you're still too young to be fighting in the front lines, we did find a special role for you in the mission."

Rosie genuinely looked shocked and her mouth hung opened for a bit.

"Quewha?" She stuttered.

"You won't be joining the fight with us. Your job is to help your cousins deactivate the main bomb at Washington D.C. Since you're good at hacking, this shouldn't be a problem for you." Six admitted causing Rosie to think.

She started to overthink again.

"I know I'm not suppose to fight. But what if something tries to attack us while we're working on the bomb? Are we going to have agents watching our backs while we work? Or do I need to be ready to start defending ourselves? Even with my training, I'm not sure if I'm ready for what they might have in store. But then again..." Rosie quietly murmured to herself and was over calculating the situation.

She felt someone hit her head and she immediately stopped her muttering.

"Ow." Rosie winced and rubbed the back of her head.

"You were muttering to yourself again sweetie." Rebecca admitted.

Rosie quietly apologized and moved her hair back. Six added, "You won't have to worry about your safety. We'll have a small group of agents keeping an eye on you three. If it comes down to it then you can fight. Only if its for self defense."

Rosie nodded and touched her necklace anxiously. This is her chance to help out but something in her gut is telling her that something bad might happen. She's not sure what it might be but her instincts could either be right or wrong half of the times.

She hopes this time that it would be right.

"You can't hang out this whole week?" Farron whispered to Rosie while they were working on serving the volleyball to each other. It was time for Volleyball class and their couch wanted the class to have some free time.

So Farron and Rosie were practicing how to pass the ball to each other.

Rosie caught the volleyball and held it in her hands.

She admitted, "I'm going to be busy with training this week. I promise once we complete the mission then we'll hang out. My focus is on making sure the bombs don't blow up to cause another Nanite Explosion to happen. Then I will focus on getting Aaron back. Who knows how they're torturing him."

"Hey now, you know Aaron is stronger than you think." Farron assured and motioned for Rosie to serve the volleyball. She focused back on their class and they kept passing the ball to each other. Rosie started to drift back to her dark thoughts as she began to think about what if the mission fails.

They'll be risking another global threat where everyone could be turning EVO again. Even if they deactivate the bombs, there is still the risk of the people at Washington DC. Providence will be to blame if anything goes wrong and Rosie feels the immense weight on her shoulders.

Farron noticed how much this was affecting Rosie and decides to step in. He chimed in, "This mission will be successful. You'll have your whole family helping you out Rosie. Its not like you doing this by yourself. You have your dad and your Uncle Rex ready to fight in the front line. Your mom and Aunt Circe will be helping making sure everyone is evacuating from the city. Plus your Uncle Caesar is helping you and your cousins by monitoring what's going on with the other bombs. Everything will be okay."

Rosie breathe heavily while she started picking at her nails.

"I-I know. But I have a bad feeling about something. Like I'll see something that I know might break me." Rosie whispered nervously.

Farron grabbed her shoulder and sternly said, "Think of the positives! Once this is all over, Van Kleiss will be captured and Ava will be free. You're always telling her once Van Kleiss is finished then she can live a normal life. Remember?"

Rosie started to slowly smiled and whispered, "Yeah...Ava will be moving back with us again. Then she can finally go to school."

"Yeah. Then you can focus on having fun for your Senior Year. We'll need to go shopping soon. You need to find the perfect dress for Prom and for graduation day. Are you excited about?" Farron asked softly.

Rosie reassured, "Of course I'm excited about it. Prom will be awesome and once I walk across the stage, I'll be happy to be a high school graduate. But everything's going by too fast."

Ever since Rosie started her senior year, she's been feeling uneasy about the sudden changes. Its almost like her mind is telling her that she's not ready for school to be over yet. Sure Rosie will be going to college after high school but it will be entirely different for her.

Farron sigh quietly and went to hug Rosie. She immediately held onto him and buried her face in his chest. He pat her back and promised, "Its okay. You're just overwhelmed with everything that's been going on. Look, I promise things will get better soon. Just keep moving forward."

Rosie faintly giggled and looked up at him, "Is that a reference to the movie, Meet the Robinsons?"

"Of course, you little Disney fanatic." Farron said while he ruffled Rosie's hair to help keep her calm.

"Ow!" Rosie winced as she felt a familiar sting on her arm. She held her katana tightly in her hands and tried to focus on where Bobo was shooting her from.

For her training session, Rosie has to be in the woods with Rex and Bobo to see if she can block any of their attacks. Bobo's job was to shoot with some lasers to make Rosie deflect the attacks. If she gets hit it won't be a big deal. The laser won't cause some serious damage, they will only sting her skin.

Rosie heard a rustling noise coming from above the trees and immediately raised her katana up. However, Rosie felt her stomach and legs getting shot from in front of her.

"OW! OW! OUCH!" Rosie screamed while she fell backwards.

"Is that all you got? I was actually going easy on you." Bobo grinned as he walked to her.

Rosie looked at him in disbelief, "THAT WAS ON EASY MODE!?"

Rex walked to them and crossed his arms, "We have a long way to go. Are you sure you can handle this?"

Rosie started to look serious and immediately got back up. She joked, "If you start playing I'll Make A Man Out Of You then we'll done once the song is over."

"You're too much at times." Rex joked and motioned for Bobo to continue with the training.

Aaron was locked up in a secure cage while he had a steel collar around his neck. He's still in his monster form and wasn't fighting back once Van Kleiss was approaching his cage.

"Had enough now?" Van Kleiss asked.

Aaron started to growl dangerously low at him. He roared loudly in pain when the collar started shocking him. Aaron started to slash at the metal bars but he couldn't even leave a scratch.

"It appears we need to continue with keeping you in our control. Biowulf, Skalamander, take our guest out of his cage and teach him a lesson." Van Kleiss ordered as he started to walk away from the cage. Aaron glared at Biowulf and Skalamander when they approached the cage door.

He hissed loudly when the door swung open and was bombarded with an attack of some crystal spikes. Aaron charged at them but was throw across the room by Biowulf.

"Is that all you got?" Skalamander said while Aaron shook his head frantically and started focusing on the duo.

"Come on Aaron, is that all you got?" Rosie's voice echoed in Aaron's mind while he could remember her always teasing him whenever they were training together. Aaron felt the urge to keep fighting and to stay strong a little bit longer. Except the darkness inside of him is overwhelming him. Aaron looked up at Biowulf and Skalamander, he narrowed his eyes at him and was ready to fight again.

Ava made it a point to visit Lucas and Zane whenever she gets a chance. Most of the time, Lucas is offering her advice and helps with her abilities the best he could. White Knight allowed Lucas to leave his cell on the condition that he would have agents monitoring him 24/7. And he was forced to wear an ankle monitor but Lucas didn't protest. Lucas became assigned as Ava's temporary caretaker for the time being.

"I wanna see Zane." Ava whispered and kept tugging on Lucas's sweater to get his attention.

Lucas looked down at Ava and finished washing the dishes. He wiped his hands dry and said, "Okay kiddo. Give me a second."

Ava waited beside the door and was starting to get impatience. Lucas was alerting Calan that he's going to leave his room to visit Zane. To gain more of their trust, Lucas has to be on his best behavior. He feels like he could redeem himself by possibly working for Providence someday. Lucas looked up to see two agents entering the room with their weapons ready in their arms.

"Do they have to keep doing that?" Ava pouted when they handcuffed Lucas.

Lucas admitted, "I got myself in trouble Ava. So I want to prove to them that I've changed then I need to follow by their rules."

Ava crossed her arms and eventually walked ahead. Lucas shook his head and whispered, "You're becoming more bolder by the minute." The agents escort Lucas to the elevator, they were going too slow to caught up with Ava. But that's what Ava wants. She rather meets with her brother alone than to have someone always watching over her. She hurried to Zane's cell door and sat on the ground.

"Zane! I'm here!" Ava called out and waited patiently for him to approached the bars.

Zane carefully sat down in front of her and looked annoyed, "You come and go as you please."

Ava smiled innocently and looked at him expectedly. Zane sigh and instructed, "I can't show you how to control your powers right now. My hands are clearly still bound with this straight jacket. Your nanites abilities are still different. Like Rex, he's able to summon his machines and cure anyone who becomes EVO. My nanite powers is just pure electricity. Originally they would exit through my palms when I first active my nanites. Years later, I learn to control my powers throughout my whole body. Instead of being sparks, the more I worked with my powers, the more it become lightning."

Ava looked amazed and started to smiled excitedly. Zane visibly flinched when he started to noticed Ava was too much like their mother. He felt a familiar burning ache in his heart and looked away from his sister.

"You need to go now." Zane harshly said causing Ava to look disappointed.

"Awe. But I still need to learn about my powers. You're the only one that can teach me." Ava whispered until Zane angrily snapped, "Just leave!"

Ava flinched fearfully and quickly got up. She ran away and bumped into Lucas and the agents. Zane turned his back against them and didn't bother talking to them.

Michael casually walked around his hospital as he made his way to greet his patients. He kindly greet them and approached the nurses.

"Good evening ladies." Michael smiled at them.

The nurses greeted Michael and one of them said, "Sir. We received a call from Janet just now. She said that Providence is here to talk with you."

Michael looked confused and wonder what could they want. He has been so careful with keeping any secret he has hidden. Michael guessed that some scientists might want a meeting with him to discuss about his plans.

"Thank you for telling me." Michael said but dozen of agents stormed down the hallway and quickly went to escort the patients out of their rooms.

"What is going on!? You can't just take my patients from their rooms!" Michael angrily hissed but was slammed against the wall. Six held his magna blade against Michael's neck and glared, "We can when their lives are in danger."

Michael tried to deny any accusations until Rex ran pass them and started to approached a locked door.

"You can't go in there!" Michael yelled and the nurses tried to get Rex away from the door.

"Did you really think that we couldn't figure it out before? We know about your plan and that you have Van Kleiss here!" Rex said while he opened the door after using his nanites on the lock.

Michael started to grinned when many EVOs ran out of the door and started attacking Rex.

This is where the battle just began.

The last part for this chapter is actually a sneak peek on what's about to happen in Chapter 33. There will be so much things going on! :O I feel like the next two chapters will be a chunk of possibly some action going on. And eventually the outcome. It will be interesting to type things out :3

Thank you again for your review YellowAngela :D Its always a blast to type these chapters out. This helps me out to get through with what's going on around the world :) Sometimes throughout the chapters, I refer to Michael as either Dr. Rivers or Michael. And its nice to bring in Biowulf and Skalamander. I decided to bring Bobo in because I noticed I never put him in! I feel bad about it T-T Luckily I'll bring him in the next chapters :3

This story has been going on longer than I expect. I'm just not sure how I want to end this story. I want to keep going but all stories have to come to an end :) Anyone got any suggestions on how it should end? Don't worry, I'll keep posting chapters for Childhood Memories but I have another story coming up. :D I'll try my best to upload the chapters but it might take me a while. Until then, have a great day and see you soon! :D
